Negative experience: Do not go if you can help it. I called on the phone before I arrived telling them what happened and why I was coming in. They told me to come on. I needed a wheelchair and they provided one. However, the young lady that pushed me in the wheelchair hit my foot on the wall several times. She apologized each time but probably should have asked for help because it was painful. I see the doctor and she looked at my leg and said, "it doesn't look broken" and informed me that they don't have X-ray machines, and she could prescribe me ibuprofen. The lady pushes me in the wheelchair again. This time, she was more careful but she proceeded to wheel me in the lobby area and leaves. I had to get off the wheelchair and painfully walk to my car. I immediately went to another clinic after and it was indeed broken. I wish they had informed me when I called about my injury that they don't have X-ray machines and that I didn't leave in more pain from my leg hitting the wall several times. This was a waste of time and money.

Positive experience: This is going to be long. I first started going to LifDoc in 2013 after being diagnosed with diabetes. In the beginning l had an extremely hard time getting my A1C under control. Dr. V never gave up on me he stayed on me he would call to talk to me over the phone to see how l was if l missed an appointment. It took years to get my diabetes under control at least 4 years because l refused to listen to Dr. V orders. In 2017 things started to look up and he was so proud of me and that made me cry because he really cared about all his patients. In 2018 l had the gastric sleeve and l lost about 60lbs when l started doing the 6 month program that they required l started to lose weight on the day of surgery l weighed 202lbs. That was the best decision of my life l was taken off my meds for blood pressure and diabetes. Over the years l gained it all back. Last year l went into the clinic seeking to get a revision done but before my pcp would even entertain that idea they put me on Ozempic which l had no choice but to lose weight because you can't eat . Although Ozempic is used for those with diabetes l was given it for weight lost. At that time l was not taking anything for diabetes between 2018-2024 my a1c has been between 4.5-5.2 so for six years I've been off diabetes meds and l owe that to Dr. V. Whenever he sees me he always tell me how proud he is of me no matter how busy they are he will still stop and see how I'm doing. The only complaint l have is that l see a lot of Dr's come and go and l felt that was strange. I love Dr. Megan-Frost and Dr. Avery those 2 were the best it bothered me when they no longer worked there. Now they still have Dr. Franklin whom l love and the cardiologist assistant and Courtney but the staff at the desk no ma'am l have no idea where they got them from but they need to replace them because they are not it. In my 11 of being a patient there they are the worst group I've ever encountered. They take their time with the hispanics but with us they always seems to have an attitude especially the one in the front by the window l try my best to avoid her because the way my attitude is l would let her have it. It's a lot of patients that feel the same way about them trust me l've spoken with more than a few people about that front staff. Other than that l love LifDoc.

Negative experience: So this is going to be a very long review. I will also be following up legal representation, filing a formal complaint and the BBB as well. So here goes…I came in as a new patient regarding a new PCP to assist me in my FMLA with my job. I found out about this place because it’s within walking distance across from my old PCP. I scheduled the appointment and went in to be seen. The PCP filled out my paperwork and did other tests and my annual. She told me I had all these health issues and I had new medicine being prescribed to me. Moving forward, Lifedoc and this doctor (Erma Hawkins) were very unorganized. The doctor was very nice however. Moving forward, upon my return to work - the same doctor who was seeing me and had been filling out my paperwork was supposed to sign and fill out my release to return to work. When I go in the tell me at the Lenox park location (which was my first time coming to this location) they pair me with Kelsey James FNP who has a nasty attitude. She looks over my paperwork or records from what Dr Hawkins had filled out. She tells me she would not be signing my release to return to work because what dr Hawkins had done was fraudulent. She had a very sarcastic comical tone, she was speaking fast and not explaining nothing. She also stated that dr Hawkins no longer was working there and insinuating that she was fired or something. She also told me that she would not change my medication from a pill form to oral liquid form. She stated she would put me on a different version of a cholesterol pill after telling me that the previous provider Dr Hawkins basically misdiagnosed me. She also stated she would only give my a doctor note. I just sat and looked at this idiot who had the worst energy ever. She was nice nasty and I told her I do not want to move forward with anything for myself or my son. I get up and walk out and she says: (just to rub it in) well you’ll still get charged have a nice day. This clinic kept pressuring me to get my son shots and kept giving him suckers. Which kids cry or whine when they don’t know people and multiple pushy medical assistants are reaching for him. I ended up going back downstairs to speak with the front desk on who to make a complaint with. A lady told me that some lady named Angela was out but she would make sure she reached out to me as soon as she returned to work. Moving forward, I made it known I wanted nothing to do with that clinic and the dark skinned doctor with dreadlocks and who had on camouflage pants, kept asking would I allow for my son to get shots. I’m like no. He then calls me when I get home. Not to apologize but to ask me yet again !!! Would I let my son come in for shots tomorrow morning at the same location. This practice is very biased towards the Spanish speaking community. They roll out top tier service for Latino genre people. They prioritize them and even the black nurses and fnp’s handle them with more concern and respect. That is because the owners are Spanish/latino. So moving forward, I ended up losing my job and I’m now 11 weeks pregnant with a toddler. My life has been turned upside down because they couldn’t do something as simple as sign my release. Well the company ended up closing the next week that I worked for and everyone was released immediately with their license and placed on severance pay. I was not able to get that due to Lifedoc and Kelsey James. I do not recommend this place at all. If you are anything other than an undocumented person do not do business with this clinic. They deserve 0 stars and 5 stars come from their kind or are fake reviews.

Fantastic experience: Definitely recommend Dr. V. and his staff of friendly and knowledgeable health professionals who make the process easy and as stress free as possible. Emiliano (the front desk check in) positive and upbeat personality sets the tone for what most people dread and get nervous about when seeing the dr. They are thorough and leave no stone unterned when evaluating your current health and medical conditions. Dr. V's no nonsense straight forward approach to medicine and your health is definitely appreciated and I highly recommend LifeDoc health to everyone.

Negative experience: The receptionists are very rude and unprofessional. Every time you call they have an attitude. Honestly the whole staff is super unprofessional and make nasty comments. I only go here with my dad thankfully i don’t have to get checked here. All of them make rude comments in spanish about other people who are non-spanish speakers.

Negative experience: So my last review was about nine months ago every time I come to this doctors office it’s always something I made it here around 9:40 as a walk-in because I cannot make an appointment due to the fact that I have missed too many appointments because I hate coming here but I like the doctor and I understand she has appointments But I got here at 9:40. It’s 11:32 No one told me I would have to wait until she finishes all of her appointments to be seen. I’ve been sitting in this room for over an hour. Ask how long it would be before I see the doctor, they told me she has four more people to see which I understand because they have appointments but that’s something that should’ve been explained to me when I came as a walk-in that I will have to wait until she has seen all of her people before coming in the see me I just can’t with them no communication I really not coming back here for nothing I will be requesting my files and find a new doctor because this is crazy .

Fantastic experience: My son Raymond went in to see the nutritionist Andres, he spent time reviewing what kinds of exercises my son was doing after praising him for his continued gradual weight loss. He also showed him different kinds of exercises to do with his dumbbells he has at home . He explained to him how each exercise would help him lose weight. My son was in invited to join his exercise group that the nutritionist was going to start with a group of boys right after he met with us. My son stayed and truly enjoyed himself. I truly love the care and compassion this man takes with his clients. I like to just step back and t let my teenage son be helped and mentored by him. This is a great place for all losing weight.

My appointment was rescheduled by Lifedoc but when we went to the office at 9:45 which the appointment was at 10 the young lady at the front desk didn't believe me when I told her. She put everyone in front of us and I didn't appreciate that at all!!!!!But other than that it's been great!!!!!!

Negative experience: The doctors are nice but trying to get authorizations, referrals, and refills is like pulling teeth. I've waited over a month for things of that nature. I had to buy my own medical supplies because they never filled out and returned the paperwork that was sent to them. Too be honest. I think it's a Memphis thing. Trying to get things done in Memphis is horrible

Fantastic experience: The staff and physician/Nurse Practitioner are great They are informative and explain every step of the visit to keep the patient awair of what will transpire. I highly recommend this facility for health knowledge and information.

Negative experience: This client was completely unorganized. My appointment was scheduled two weeks prior. The day of, the secretary had no sent over my medical release form to my old client. I waited an 1 hour and 26 minutes before seeing a provider (for a 9am appointment). I called 4 times to check to see if they had requested my records on the 5th call, the finally got them BUT was told the provider did not work at that location on Friday, or Monday and I would have to wait until the following Tuesday before getting a prescription filled. Save your time and money. If you are looking for an organized client, this is not the one for you.

Fantastic experience: I have gone to LifeDOC for over 10 years for my diabetes care. They provide state of the art treatment and comprehensive culturally-competent care. They can care for complex patients. Staff are friendly and efficient. I highly recommend.

Positive experience: Expect to lose an entire day! They ask you to show 15 minutes in advance but don't expect them to see you before 45 minutes AFTER your appointment time. Once they get you to an appointment room expect to sit for an hour or more. I went in for a 3 month prescription check up that took 4.5 hours. I HATE going because of this. ADDITION: Best diabetes doctors I have ever been exposed to. I wish I had seen someone like this sooner. Have never been to a doctor that seemed to CARE so much. Willing to do anything to help there patients with diabetes. GREAT diabetes preventative care! Beyond impressed!

Negative experience: Dr. Valequez's bedside manners and approach to my daughter were so off-putting that we will not be returning. I will be following with her primary doctor to find another referral. Just horrible!! Never again!! The way he spoke to her we're so unprofessional. I'm still speechless! What I also learned is that he is the owner. Sad

They’ve grown, improved and really care about the patient. I would recommend anyone looking for a primary care doctor or a diabetes care specialist where the pharmacist will coordinate all of your prescriptions and make sure none of your doctors are writing anything that will interact this is the place. It’s world class!

Negative experience: I have been going to this doctor for years so I will gladly leave a review! I had an appointment for a check up visit but days before I became sick. So the day of my appointment they tested me for Covid and came back positive. The nurse didn’t even come back in the room! SHE CALLED ME! I knew then. As I was walking out after the nurse told me to go to my car and wait on the Dr to handle my visit over phone they were discussing Jimmy John’s for lunch. My head had been hurting for daaayyysss and I had made that very clear. I sat in the car for almost 30 min waiting on the Dr to call meanwhile head still hurting. I’m nauseous and crying at this point. I called the office they told me the Dr was busy. Doing what? ordering lunch?! Had I tested negative would she had of been busy then?! I felt so bad and they sent me out of the office, treating me so inhumane as if I had an incurable disease. They are still a doctors office! Had I went to the hospital or another clinic I’m sure I wouldn’t of been treated that way. It’s been a few days since then and I’m still high upset by the way they did me. Luckily I’m starting to feel better based off of my own remedy! I have been attempting to call the office to discuss with manager and can’t get an answer so I’m leaving the review here.

Positive experience: Lifedoc has been a life saver for my granddaughter's health issues. I never knew it existed until my granddaughter's PCP recommended Lifedoc. The office is clean and quiet. My granddaughter has received quality care at Lifedoc and the doctors are very caring. I recommend them for special health care needs.

Negative experience: Customer service is horrible! I've been asking for an appointment to see my Primary Care provider 5 times and every time it was an excuse to why I couldn't make an appointment. Pharmacy constantly making errors with meds & not delivering on time. Even got my meds from walgreens without my consent & kept my insulin in their car for 2 weeks before I went to office & the driver was walking in with my meds. Meds was dated 7/1 & didn't get my insulin til 7/14. Endocrinologist very touchy (inappropriate) with his patients and had an issue when I asked not to touch me unless medically necessary. Most of the office is of Latin descent, but they're really rude towards African Americans. I been a patient & have been patient with them for over 2 years. I'll be looking for a new doctors office asap!

Negative experience: LifeDoc is a total scam. I called numerous times to get a follow up appointment. I was scheduled several phone appointments and my doctor missed every appointment. I was sitting around waiting each time. I finally received a phone call. I received a statement with $160 worth of charges for a phone call that lasted less than 3 minutes.

Fantastic experience: I love this Dr.Valesquez & Dr. Claudia.. They welcome you and you feel how they go over and beyond to ensure your treatment plan is for you. For the last 10 years I have not 1 compliant on the services that has been given to me. They are a must go to if you have Endocrine issues❤ Wish I can give them 10 stars.

Fantastic experience: Due to the coronavirus life -doc facilities are very strict they have about four different checkpoints where they ask you questions and take your temperatures. Also in the waiting room the lobby area seats are spaced out 6 feet apart and when it starts to get crowded there's additional seats outside the lobby area space 6 feet apart for more patience to wait the waiting. Is not very long and very efficient and the receptionist and the the assistance nurse are very polite everyone's polite.

Negative experience: Please let me spare you from this hole of a place. DO NOT ENTER, TURN AROUND, AND RUN IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION.

Negative experience: My son is in a wheelchair and I went in back in November 2019 to get his paper work sent in to the wheelchair company. It's March2020 and these people have not did their job yet. They get on the phone and lie every time I call. My child has completely grown out his wheel chair. The wheel chair company has even call these people. Bluecare need to stop assigning people to this doctor office.

Positive experience: While I understand that a doctor's time is valuable but my time time is valuable as well. I waited 2 hours and 37 minutes before I was seen by the doctor. By the time I left I had been there for 3 hours and 20 minutes. This left me the option of being on time to work or grabbing a quick lunch and being late to work. This is not a one time thing. This is every appointment I have with Dr. Pedro. I understand that it's not always possible for the doctor to see me at the exact time of my appointment but making a patient wait 2:30 (at least 3 times) is rude and should not be the normal way this office does business

Fantastic experience: So I been going to dar salud for about two years now... Dr. Avery was the second doctor who cared for me and she was so amazing. She was very funny upfront and truthful. When I got that call the other day that she was no longer apart of dar salud my heart dropped cause we developed a good relationship as patient and doctor..she was the best. So today I had an appointment 1/6/20 o was skeptical about coming because o didn't want to get to know any other doctor. I'm just being honest. My mind changed once Dr. Walker walked in the room. She reminds me so much of doctor Avery...she had me laughing but o hope she doesn't think that I wasn't listening cause I was..u can tell a doctor who really cares.. thanks dar salud

Negative experience: This place is a joke. One doctor was trying to diagnose me as having a life altering condition before actually doing any type of lab work. Results come back FINE. Another doctor didn't even care to address my concerns, just said he'd call me Ina prescription that never got called in. They really need to have their credentials checked because I would never go here again. If I could give them ZERO STARS I WOULD!!!!

Fantastic experience: Very satisfied!! I couldn't get my house unlocked so when he came out he was friendly, wasn't rough on the doors and got us inside in a timely manner.

Negative experience: Very bad service. My son had an appointment at 5 pm and we waited for one hour and 36 minutes exactly and no one came to the room to see us or say anything.

Negative experience: Would give a zero if possible. If you are white and are first in the office 755am for an 8 am appt you get taken to see the doctor at 830. All other people taken back on time for their appt. Talked to a gentleman that had an appt at 815 was taken back at 820. Have been in to see the dr for urological problem over a month ago and have received two (2) gastro referrals. This last request for a urologist referral has been stalled to insure we came to today's annual exam (a big ticket visit billed to Medicare ). DO NOT USE THIS DOCTORS OFFICE IF YOU HAVE ANY CHOICE IN THE MATTER.

Negative experience: This place is horrible!!! If I knew who to complain to as far as the state board, I would!!! The receptionists are unprofessional and rude! They do the same tests over and over so you have to pay a co/pay each time! To read my results from a duplicated test, I had to pay $88!!! I'm pissed! I always have to wait hours to be seen, the appointments are scheduled so far that my condition worsened, and when I went to the hospital, the doctors there couldn't reach the doctor! The doctor doesn't listen to anything you say!!! Just horrible! Don't let your PCP schedule you here!!!

Negative experience: I went to this clinic almost 3 wks ago and i will not go back !!! I was a new pt and was told 2 fast so they could do blood work. My appt was @ 9:15 a m , i was told i was the 1st pt when i made my appt as i had concerns about waiting long time due 2 low sugar. It was almost 11 b4 i saw nurse practioner. I told her the ppl up front told me when i made appt to fast as my legs were starting to shake and i could tell i needed 2 eat in a hurry. She told me they (the ppl) up front didnt know what they were doing and shouldnt of told me 2 fast. She then brought me a styrofoam bowl of dried cranberries and almonds and after eating about 5 handfulls i found a short black hair in bowl !!! It was prob hers as she has short black hair , not sure so i am not saying 4 sure it was but i know i will nev go back. They were friendly on ph and in person but trying 2 get lab results almost 3 wks later is ridiculous!!! I wouldnt recommend this place 2 anyone , very unorganized and dont know how 2 run an office in my opinion !! I know we all have 2 wait @ dr appt but 2 be the 1st @ 9:15 abd it was close to 11 b4 being seen well in my opinion that was very ridiculous !!! I was told my info would be emailed 2 me and the receptionist hung up on me 3x after i did review this a m and want ppl 2 know this office isnt professional @ all !!

Negative experience: The call center and the front desk staff does not communicate. They carelessly and unapologetically inconvenience patients. They speak to people in condescending tones. They are too quick to speak before listening for full details. I love my PCP Ms. Byndom, but the front office staff should seriously take some lessons on customer service.
