Negative experience: Sold me a Garmin watch the day before my first triathlon, promising me it had the functionality I asked for. It did not and they refused to work with me to get the watch I needed because I wore it during the race. They lied and refused to even try to help me out for their deceptive sales tactics. I refuse to use them ever again. Buyer beware.

Fantastic experience: I am a bit delinquent in providing this review. We were in AZ for the Ironman in November. My daughter is on the West Point Tri Team and travelled from NY for her first Ironman and was quite stressed just for the event. Upon arrival she opened her bike case and found that TSA opened the case, did not properly close it, and the result was some decent damage and completely snapped cables. 24 hours to staging and there was heavy stress and uncertainty. Her tri team had previously visited Moxie on a prior Spring Break trip, so we were at the door at opening to beg for help in what we knew was a busy time with many people coming in for tune-ups on race weekend. We were met by Corbin - with a little begging he took the bike and told us he'd get it done. We called at closing time and were told the bike was somewhat apart but assured it would be ready in the morning. Corbin stayed late and by the next morning the damage was fixed - Corbin also took care of a few other residual issues that had been lingering. All I can say is Corbin really knows his bikes and totally took care of us. Bike performed well in the Ironman, my daughter was 14th overall and earned a trip France for 2024 World's when 24 hours before she was worried that she wouldn't be able to race. On a related but separate note - this was an old, borrowed bike to begin with so we started looking for a high-end used bike as an upgrade for her 2024 season. As fate would have it, we stumbled upon a great used upgrade - a Cervelo P5X - at Moxie! Initially had a phone conversation with Corbin and then worked with Blake to close the deal. They packed it up, shipped it to NY, and the bike is ready to earn plenty of frequent flier miles in 2024. Thanks to the team at Moxie!

Fantastic experience: Excellent service! I took my bike in for some work, expecting to come back in a few days to pick it up. To my surprise, it was ready by the end of the day! I'm back on my bike and will be going back to Moxie in the future. Service and pricing was outstanding!

Fantastic experience: While towards the top end of cost in the valley, Corbin and the mechanics at Moxie are easily some of the best, most detailed, and thorough as well. Both my XC and Road bikes had the full pro tune and even at 20k kms my TCR is running and looking as good as day 1, and my epic is running even better than when new. I can't recommend this shop enough for rebuilds/thorough mechanical work, and a working knowledge base I've yet to see matched in Phoenix.

Negative experience: Stopped in to check out a new (to me) bike shop - looking for a couple lite water bottle cages and a small under saddle bag for my new Hakka MX gravel bike. They had a few to choose from but NO PRICES ON ANYTHING! They seemed angry that I wanted to know how much things were without having to take it to the register or discussing my choices with them first. I can't recommend them unless price is no object and you don't mind their arrogant, condescending attitude. Can't believe that they are so highly rated.  My opinion is that they give all LBS's a bad name.

Fantastic experience: It’s very apparent why another Cervelo bike shop 40 min away recommended I buy my high end Cervelo at this shop instead of theirs. These aren’t just guys that like to wrench on bikes; they are masters of their craft from bike fit (Blake) to product knowledge and mechanics (Corbin). Quality 100%. There was some frustration on my part with my order and where I was in the manufactures queue but both Blake and Corbin remained polite and unruffled. I’m still getting acquainted to my S5 after riding a tri bike since 1998. I feel like I bought an expensive sports car but didn’t know how to drive a stick shift

Fantastic experience: I recently took my bike into Moxie Multisport for a fitting. I had my doubts on spending the money for a bike fit, but now consider it one of the best investments I have ever made. Blake did my bike fit, explained the process as he went along so I understood why he was making the changes that he did. He took the time to understand my cycling goals so the bike was fitted correctly for my riding style and he also educated me on many topics regarding cycling during the fitting process. The final product exceeded my expectations, the adjustments made are noticeable and significant. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: My wife is racing the Ironman Arizona race this Sunday and we flew in from Texas. Her battery went out in her sworks and then she got a nic in the DI2 power wire and they came through and got us taken care on in no time. High end bike store and we highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Flew in 5 days pre race (IMAZ) and had some derailer issues. They replaced my derailer and did a "pro tune" same day! I got my bike back in better shape then the day I bought it. Rides super smooth, quiet and shifts perfectly...thx guys!

Fantastic experience: Honestly, if you are training for multi-sport events like triathlons, these guys are the only shop in the Phoenix Valley worth using. I take my Quintana Roo their for servicing, and Corbin is the best cycle mechanic around. The owner is often working the floor and has great input for training, purchases, etc. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Awesome bike shop! Wanted to change my rear tires from 23's to 28's but wasn't sure if there was enough clearance. Walked into moxie and Zach was helpful right away. He installed the 28's and even slightly dremeled the frame to ensure they fit more comfortably. I also had the rear cog changed and a front brake installed. Apparently he noticed a few loose bolts in the chainring which he tightened and even installed new handlebar plugs on the house. Needless to say, zach is a total G! Highly recommend -- fair price, quick turnaround time, very friendly and informative bike shop!

Negative experience: I came in today looking to buy aerobars for my upcoming coming 70.3. I received great tips for my first long course triathlon. However, the service I received once the sales women found out I haven't serviced my bike in a couple years due to military deployments and required moves was the most disrespectful service I have ever received. She scoffed, threw her arms up, and walked away. The mechanics are great but I can't support a company who treats customers this way.

Fantastic experience: My story began when I realized I needed a bike rack (in less than two weeks) for a triathlon race I was planning to drive (I live in TX and driving to Florida). A friend told me, call Moxie, they will help you. In effect I did call them, and let me tell you I felt like a VIP customer. They sent pictures of the bike racks and information about them. Despite the stock limitation, they were able to find the perfect bike rack the same day, and have it delivered to me the next day. I felt they care about the customer and friendly experience. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: My friends and I were on a long bike ride and a friend ended up with a flat tire. We found Moxie off of Google. It was less than a 5 minute walk away. Fantastic experience: I took my mountain bike in for a complete overhaul. They went way above my expectations and delivered exceptional service!! The mechanic (Corbin) even took the time to explain how to best set up my suspension for the type of riding I typically do. I'll definitely be taking my ride back to this shop.

Negative experience: I dropped off a mountain bike for service, I got suggested the pro package so $170 and only one ride later the bike needs to go for repair (taking to a different shop) not only because the bike was barely cleaned, nothing seemed to have been done to it, perhaps they did but mostly because everything I asked to be done to it specifically was not relayed to the tech, spokes were not tightened as I asked and I also asked for some costs on upgrades... "oh yeah you’ll get an email with a quote" 1 week later I haven't relieved anything... so basically I dropped off my bike to be stored over the weekend and completely ignored by the 3 people I dealt with which makes me feel they selectively treat customers, Sorry to be the one making a real review of this place but staff needs to be more attentive and specific about what's going to be done or has been done. My bad for just trusting all was going to be fine. Overall for MTB repairs and Service most definitely find a different place.

Fantastic experience: I only came in for a couple of shifter cables and to enquire around spacers for my aero bars. Corbin could not have been more helpful, despite being busy finishing a bike. He made sure I left with the cabling I needed to finish my bike and threw in additional bits a pieces including a tricky to find cable stop I needed to complete the job free of charge, as well as explaining the best way to complete the task. Thanks to this I got my bike up and running and shifting more smoothly than ever. I have had my main bike serviced here before and it will definitely be my go to store in the future due to the high level of service every time I step through the door.

Friendly faces, incredible bike mechanics and a welcoming atmosphere. I can attest that moxie has one of the if not best bike mechanics in town.(Corbin). I'm not sure I would even describe him as a mechanic, more of engineering technician with bike mechanical skills. When the bike came in but the pedals had not arrived from Shimano yet, the owner let me borrow a set of pedals for the weekend so that I could still get out and ride until the pedals were delivered. Corbin is an awesome mechanic too. He walked me through my set up options and answered all of my questions. In short, it was a great experience buying a bike from moxie.

Fantastic experience: I visited Moxie today for the first time and I was overly pleased!! The chain on my single-speed had snapped so I was in search of a bike shop that could help me replace it. Every shop near my home in Phoenix was backed up three weeks but after calling Moxie, I was able to get my bike fixed within the hour!! It was extremely cheap and they fixed a few things on my bike that I didn't know were wrong... for free! Unfortunately, I did not catch the name of the man and woman who helped me out today but they were very professional and kind. I will return back to Moxie every time my bike has a problem!

While other bike shops are closing their doors Moxie has their foot on the gas of an Italian made sports car. The coolest thing is that their only in 3rd gear. They fixed my wife's bike in time to race and went back when we realized her helmet was damaged in travel and needed a new one. They really take the time to help and make you feel welcome. The group worked quick to set us up and welcome us as if we were long term friends. Shop is absolutely one of the best shops with the coolest gear, bikes and swag. I cannot say enough positive things about this group. If you are in the area stop in, you will not be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: There are only a few high-end bike shops in the South Scottsdale / Old Town area. One of them has a strict policy to not acknowledge customers. Another doesn’t honor warranties for bikes/components purchased from them. Thankfully, Moxie does not fit into the pretentious record store / coffee shop / Scottsdale cycling stigma. Frustrated from too many poor experiences from one of the other guys I regretfully purchased from, I looked at the dealer page for a part on my bike that needed warranty support and found Moxie. Not only are they closest to me, they’re the friendliest and were immediately helpful in making a warranty claim for a part on my bike I purchased elsewhere! I thought that Moxie was a triathlon specific store so they weren’t under my radar, and despite their triathlon specialty, their service and sales staff welcome all disciplines. I’ve learned so much in the few recent visits there from their mechanic, Corbin, and I’ve seen a massive breadth of bikes serviced each time I was there. He does it all! If you need a mountain, road, TT, or any bike serviced in the south Scottsdale area, this is your shop. They have the biggest selection of Cervelo I’ve seen so far if you’re in the market for the best road and TT/tri bikes available. Just like cars need servicing, and it’s crucial that you depend on quality and courtesy from the dealer, it’s easy for a cyclist to feel lost without a bicycle dealer to count on. Without the established loyalty of my own bike sale, Moxie had my back, and now they have my loyalty. You my shop, Moxie!

Fantastic experience: Great place to go as a new athlete getting into the sport of triathlon! They have a solid selection of bike stuff and apparel. They have created a great community if you're looking to meet people via their group rides or kickr workouts. Having learned a lesson from wearing some cheap stuff for triathlons in the past, invest in some of the Wattie apparel here and you wont regret it!
