Fantastic experience: I came to Living Health in serious pain and in need of a hip replacement on both hips. I had issues, however, that needed to be addressed before I could qualify for the surgery. I had too much weight and I was pre-diabetic. After working with the Nutritionist for a few months on Diet Management, I am now several pounds smaller and Diabetes-free - NO MEDS! When I got the news, I was so happy I cried.

Negative experience: See a specialist. After 3 meetings and 2 sets of expensive bloodwork, all I received was a sales pitch on a very expensive program. No advice what so ever. Get a second opinion for sure. I’m glad I did. And insurance covered it.

Fantastic experience: In 2023, I had a rapid onset and very unexpected change in my health. I went from a busy mom of 6 working as a Nurse Practitioner to completely debilitated by an onset of unexplained, scary symptoms. After months of seeing several specialists who could not explain what was happening in my body, I found Dr. Steph and Dr. Tom. They did a free consult with me the week after I contacted them. Fantastic experience: My treatment is for neuropathy. My treatment started in March 29, 2024 and it has been almost a month and I am already feeling the results of my treatment. That makes me very happy because now I can feel my feet beneath me! My treatment coupled with the professionalism and friendliness of the staff has contributed to this degree of my success. Fantastic experience: Before I begin with how far I have progressed in my healing of Neuropathy, I first want to acknowledge the Living Health Integrative Medicine Team. With an emphasis on TEAM. The cultural mindset shown to their patients/customers is both reactive, proactive, and flexible. The Team is very patient, friendly, caring, and professional, especially Danyell & Kim they are an awesome pair. The LHIM Team is The Best! Now, how far have I come in my Neuropathy healing process: My issues and concerns were the diagnosis I had received from my Neurologist, which was Neuropathy. I was having problems with numbness and tingling in my legs and feet on a daily basis. Occasionally, I had sharp, stabbing pain in my toes. I experienced changes in my gait and coordination. My treatment at LHIM consisted of Nutritional Changes, Testing, Supplements & Therapy. With the treatment the numbness & tingling in my legs occurred very seldom, but in my feet the tingling & numbness is still there but less intense. The change is noticeable, and I feel much so much better. Drs. Tom & Stephanie Chaney are awesome. My story do not end at Neuropathy. The testing performed on me, determined that I had exposure to Biotoxin (Mold) in my body. This led me to have my home inspected & tested and found that I had unseen mold that needed to be removed immediately. My treatment also included removing the toxins from my body. I thank God for sending me to LHIM and I trust my quality of life will continue to improve.

Fantastic experience: I looked into this practice because I was feeling extremely tired and I have high cholesterol. I am 40 years old, work shift work ,and it is very difficult for me to get more than 5-6 hours of sleep a night. I workout regularly, have a high performance job, and am in relatively good shape but my body wasn't responding like it used to. I started seeing Dr. Steph and I have been so happy with the results so far. I am still on a program but I have already seen a remarkable change in my energy level, weight, strength, and attitude. Additionally my labs are getting better. Everyone that I have interacted with has been so kind and helpful. They are extremely responsive and it is the best medical care I have ever received. If needed Dr. Steph will meet with me for 30 minutes to an hour and she will often get back to me via email the same day if I have questions about my progress or program. Fantastic experience: I have been diagnosed with shortly-ago pre-diabetic and long-ago lower back (L3, L4, and L5) problems that caused peripheral neuropathy, especially tingling and numbness on both hands and feet, for over two years. It is challenging to pinpoint which ones cause peripheral neuropathy - diabetes or lower back problem, or a combination of both - not yet been ruled out - still working on it. After my intensive research for holistic treatment, I found Living Health Integrative Medicine (LHIM) without applying any chemicals or surgery. I was eligible to attend the integrative programs offered an array of medical services such as tests, consultations, treatments, counseling, virtual education, and supplements. They are unique and make a difference. After receiving the test results related to particular food sensitivities (found tTG2 and iTG3), I have been on a Vegan and Low Sugar diet for three years. As I thought, it was sufficient, but A1C happened to go up, and I have a leaky gut due to many new "junk" Vegan products. Also, tingling and numbness unbearably continue. I have changed into new diets - Vegan, Keto, Gluten-Free, and Grains-Free. I have learned a lot about peripheral neuropathy and diet and how to manage better - not yet cured or reserved - still going to treatments. Through the LHIM treatments, my results have been slow and improving. My A1C recently went down from 6.2 to 5.6 after two months of treatment. In addition to that, four critical elements are to be maintained: Diet, Exercise/Yoga, Quality of sleep, and Thinking positively ALTOGETHER - preventing the fallback or paying for your prices. In a positive and warm environment at LHIM, all staff is professional and dedicated to me as an individual; regardless, I am profoundly deaf. Fantastic experience: I have had great success with Living Health. I had horrible pain in my knees, with mostly bone-on-bone. I was not a candidate for knee replacement due to other health concerns. I was treated by Living Health and currently walk with next to no pain in my knees. I am now being treated for neuropathy in my feet and hands. The treatment is working!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Tom has magic hands and fingers. Initially, I started my journey with him unable to turn my neck and experiencing chronic low back pain. With the aide of his adjustments & exercises and the trigger point injections (administered by Lauren (PA)) my neck pain is at a bare minimum. My other adjustments to my spine and lumbar and other areas are a work in progress; however, I am with this practice for the long haul. I am also working with the functional medicine practitioner - Carolyn - and have been able to noticeably lower my blood pressure. The work with this part of the practice is also a work in progress and I am pleased with the ongoing results. The staff is great. Have not worked with Dr. Steph but I am sure she is as effective as Dr. Tom!

Negative experience: This place took advantage of my 85 year old mother by taking out a 15k loan that she wouldn’t even be able to pay the monthly payments. Don’t believe the the lie about taking pride in their patients! I know my mother and she was confused on what happened! She called back to say she didn’t want the loan and you convinced her to keep it UNTIL I GOT INVOLVED!! DON’T BELIEVE THE HYPE PEOPLE! Wish I could give a negative 5 star rating

Fantastic experience: For over three years I had been telling my doctors that my feet were numb....It started with increasing cramps in my calls and then my toes started to feel like they were sleeping. That thick heavy feeling kept getting worse until finally one of my doctors ordered a nerve conduction test. Surprise!!!you have Peripheral Neuropathy. Was given a referral to a neurologist..who confirmed prior diagnosis. So..now what? Treatment is multiple doses of Gabapentin In pill form. What does this do??? Covers the pain so you don't feel it. Long-term outcome:::wheelchair and an unknown amount of limb removal. I feel very lucky to have run across Dr Toms webinar on PN. I was skeptical, but went for the free assessment. I have completed half the program. I have lose 17lbs, am sleeping better then I have in years and have less general aches and pains. I have stopped taking two of my medications. My blood sugar and level of anxiety are much better. I have started to see great improvement in the state of my feet. Am noticing a decrease in the heaviness, am starting to feel when I kick or step on something. Dr.Tom and the rest of the staff are professional and friendly. Can't wait to see what changes next. I have been coming here for the past two months and can tell you, even though I am still undergoing treatment, my body feels 100% healed compare to the day I first walk through their door. The staff here are wonderful caring professionals. They make you feel special from the moment you walk through the door. I have been off my pain meds since coming here. Fantastic experience: I was referred by my CNRP because I wanted to have stem cell treatment and not knee surgery. Andrew and Tarren were very thorough in explaining about my condition, took X-rays and determined how they would treat me. Nikki was great in coming up with a financial plan for me. Sharla and Elias have been patient with me and very helpful in my therapy. The whole experience has been great, and I am starting to see the results... it is just how they described it so I tell everyone that I am "textbook".

Fantastic experience: I was suffering from dietary issues and neuropathy in my feet due to diabetes to the point where day to day activities were becoming a challenge. I attended a webinar and signed up for the treatment plan. I went through the plan and my dietary issues were identified working with lab results and the resident nutritionist, I am now working with a GI to complete treatment. My A1C is now in the "normal" range. So if I go off my plan will my A1C go up, yes it will. So the key is stick to the diet. I went through the physical therapy for the neuropathy and I achieved fantastic results to where I can do day to day activities. To keep the success I have with the neuropathy I need to continue to do things at home. It isn't a cure and if I fall back into old habits it will come back; however, I am very pleased at the results. There is an expense to the program but they have payment plan options to spread the costs.

Fantastic experience: Living Health Integrative Medicine is fantastic. Over the holidays I picked up a good 25 pounds of daddy weight and went to them to figure out what can be causing inflammation since I felt like I ate fairly well in general and I workout a good amount also. They ran test on me that I never new existed to tell me exactly what I need to eat to achieve my desired results. As well as introduced all natural supplements to combat my deficiencies. Since then I am down 15 pounds and another 15 to go to get to my goal weight. Most of all the staff is informative and just an overall high energy group of people. I feel like I connect with the whole team and made some new friends in the process.

Fantastic experience: In September 2017 i attended a Reverse Type II Diabetes Seminar. i was accepted into the program. My A1c was 7.3 and i was taking metformin 500 twice a day. Within four months months my doctor took me off of the metformin. i highly recommend Living Health Integrative Medicine to anyone who is sick and tired of being sick and tired.

Negative experience: I went to Diabetes Seminar paid $50 in advance to get a first appointment with Dr Chaney, went for appointment doctor will not see patients that do not bring their spouses!!! I was turned away. Doctors policy. No refund of my $50.... Will not be referring anyone to this practice! Seems they’re out to get your money

Negative experience: I went to this facility for months, sometimes 3x a week, in 2016. I received chiropractic care and numerous treatments, but all and all, I did not get better and actually felt worse after 4 months of treatments. One year after stopping treatment I receive a bill in the mail asking for a balance to be paid in full. This is after I stopped treatment for a year and called twice to see if I had a remaining balance and no one called me back. Personally, I think it is unprofessional to send a bill for supposed services received over a year ago. The balance should have been written off seeing how the treatments were not working and the balance sat on the books for over a year without contact or notice. I do not recommend going to this place for treatment. I now see Dr. Sutter in Annapolis who is helping to resolve the issues in my neck that I so desperately needed.

Fantastic experience: I've been coming to Living Health for about 5 months now. I feel better than I've felt in years, I've lost about 25 lbs, and the headaches and backaches and hip pain that I was living with on a daily basis has improved greatly. Not only has my health improved but my knowledge on nutrition and how to take better care of myself has improved as well!
