Fantastic experience: Yet another stellar experience with Dr Plotcher. I see Dr Plotcher for my own medical care and I have been so impressed that I decided to establish medical care for my 12 year old with Alpine. Once again, they got me in immediately. Once again, Dr Plotcher proved to be thoughtful, compassionate, and thorough in how he approached our concerns. If you just want a “yes man” or a doctor who will follow fad over evidence based care, Dr Plotcher isn’t for you. But if want a doctor who will take the time to establish patterns in your health and investigate health concepts/complaints in depth and provide a range of solutions based on established science, then THIS is the doctor you NEED. He knows his stuff…and on top of it, he ja personable and fun. My husband is going to be moving his medical care to Alpine Medical as well. They just make it easy to get timely, quality medical care.

Fantastic experience: He always explains everything he is doing thoroughly, discusses varied opinions, explains the pros and cons of each, and makes sure it’s the patient who makes the decision and is well informed before making it. After four visits I have always left feeling like I was listened to completely.

Fantastic experience: While Dr. Todd is not my primary, I would see him again for care. He didn't preach or bash me for poor life choices but did speak to me like I was important. He did not send me for unnecessary procedures like many in the "business " would and didn't push meds that have little to no benefit. Listening is key and he did a phenomenal job!

He listened and then summarized what my concerns were and then he did the exam.After he did the exam he explained his findings After his exam he talk me through the results and a solution. I really liked and respected his process of summary of concerns, talking with me about his findings and then he did an overview of what we talked about the plan of action and follow up plan. Fantastic experience: Sarah Evans is absolutely incredible! My normally health care hesitant toddler loved her appointment and is still talking about how much fun she had seeing Sarah. Sarah took the time to let her warm up, asked her questions directly and played games with her to keep her at ease during her exam. When it was time for her flu shot, she and her MA both accompanied us to the lab and used so many distraction techniques, my little one didn’t even feel the shot because she was so excited to be having a bubble dance party. I am so glad we have found a provider who listens to not only the parents, but child as well. Sarah is giving the best pediatric care in Fairbanks. So thankful for her!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Plocher is the general practitioner I've been looking for to convey clear information, formulate plans, and offer age appropriate advice. It doesn't hurt that he has a high level of fitness, so he clearly practices what he preaches. I would absolutely recommend this doctor.

Fantastic experience: What a doctor. This man actually listened, made a plan and attacked the problem. I was not rushed like so many other doctors I’ve dealt with. He was calm, polite, and open to dealing with more than one problem at a time. A visit with him was worth the last five visits I’ve had at the VA.

She really makes you feel comfortable and is so accommodating and knowledgeable with anything to do with your joints and muscle. I love how promptly she got back to me via patient portal when I reached out to her for an appointment asap. She literally squeezed me in the next week. My family recommended her for Prolotherapy on my knee which I have benefited from tremendously. After several months my pain and swelling went away. I still have some arthritis but the majority of pain went away. She also treated my TMJ with great success. My daughter has some joint pain and got instant relief after one visit OMM. Fantastic experience: I am reviewing Dr. Bothwell at Alpine Medical Group. This was my first visit, an annual physical. The office was new construction and easy to find. The office staff greeted me. I waited only a few minutes to meet Dr. Bothwell. Dr. Bothwell gathered my medical history, provided feedback on my labs, and, at my request, conducted an additional test. I felt Dr. Bothwell was efficient and thorough. He was attentive to my concerns and proactive. I intend to work with him as my primary care physician.

Fantastic experience: For the first time in a long time, I felt that the doctor actually listened to me. He didn't just take my fibromyalgia diagnosis at face value and made me feel confident in the plan that we were creating. I'm very glad I made the switch to this doctor.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Bothwell has been instrumental in helping me get rid of pain that has been keeping me from an active, normal lifestyle for YEARS. I am so glad I saw him, and I will continue to see him for any future aches and pains. As a massage therapist, I truly appreciate his approach to OMT, as he used moderate pressure that let the muscles and soft tissue release by increasing the time he worked on my trigger points. My previous OMT providers used fast and intense pressure to release trigger points, but Dr. Bothwell techniques gave me better results. After seeing him my muscles and body feel immediately better, and I can move with less and less pain after each appointment.Thank you so much!

Negative experience: I was refused care for not solely living in Alaska 12 months out of the year, after already having established care from them prior. The nurse was very rude, as well as my doctor. The receptionists gave out false information over the phone regarding medical specialist referrals, and allowed me to wait months to be seen, just to be turned away because they apparently can’t be bothered. This practice is just another general let down of what the American Health system has become.

Fantastic experience: Sara and the staff at Alpine are the best! They are so fun and engaging with my kids, making a boring checkup lots of fun but also being so caring and sweet when they’re not feeling well. Highly recommend these wonderful people!

Resolving herniated trigger points through fascial manipulation, prolotherapy, and PRP have all helped me overcome some pretty bad arthritis in my foot and recover from recurring piriformis issues. My running hasn't felt this comfortable in many years!
