Fantastic experience: My son Has been seeing Mara at Valley Registered dietitians since he was 2 years old. She is truly amazing!! and has helped us so much in his Journey dealing with Autism and Feeding regression. I sincerely appreciate all of the support, recommendations and advice she's given us thus far.

Negative experience: They suck they never answered any of my questions.all they did was took my weight and asked me what I ate every day

Negative experience: Unfortunately I had a bad experience here with one of the nutritionist, I believe her name is Jessica? Upon entering the room I told her I was nervous and she mentioned how she was too because she’s not familiar with the system they have in place with the company (also stated how she was a new hire). So that didn’t really help my anxiety. I’m someone who has an eating disorder ( Diagnosed with AFRID ) and I also told her that I’m very sensitive when it comes to the topic of food or eating habits in general, but she dismissed it and continued to talk about how I need to be more open to food. If you know what AFRID (Avoid Food Restrictive Disorder) is, it’s extremely difficult to do so. I actually ended up crying in the room because of how she spoke to me and I didn’t appreciate it at all. The moment I cried I ended up zoning out the entire time I was in there with her because I felt extremely judged and unsafe. I honestly wanted to walk out of the room due to how uncomfortable I was, but I didn’t wanna be rude and I had high anxiety at the time. When I didn’t know what something was, she kinda gave me a look as if I was dumb, and from there I just started to dissociate. I asked my PCP for help with my eating disorder, and I came to this place (because I was referred here) hoping to get the help and guidance I need without being judged, but unfortunately that wasn’t that case.. I can’t speak for all of the nutritionists there as I’ve only seen one, but I’d suggest to be more empathic to individuals with eating disorders that are highly sensitive. With mental health issues on the rise, it’d be great to have a safe place to seek help from without judgement and also without getting set back.

Fantastic experience: I actually enjoyed meeting the dietitian. It's been a week on my new meal plan and I feel extremely better. Eliminated all fast food, energy drinks and sodas. Mara was very knowledgeable and showed real dedication to helping me with a big health transition. We joked, we laughed but ultimately, got a plan that would work long term.

Negative experience: She never answered or returned my calls, text messages or emails.

Fantastic experience: Had a wonderful experience at Valley Registered Dietitian Network very friendly Staff and My daughter’s Provider Maria Navarro was very detailed oriented gave my young daughter the nutrition therapy that she needed. As a parent I was very happy with the treatment we received and the amount of nutrition information we received. I highly recommend this place. You will not be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: The kind and knowledgeable staff here can help you set realistic goals and time tables to improve your overall health. Just some small changes to my diet and modest exercise, I was able to lose over 25lbs!
