Negative experience: I really tried to give this place a chance . I really wanted this place to work I am a big believer in holistic medicine but this facility ruined it for me . I live in Lancaster and it’s really hard to find a place like this around here . I don’t know if the issues is with the doctor or the staff but most times that I schedule an appointment I always get a call to change my appointment . Once ok that’s fine but 3 times !? I had a procedure “scheduled” a week prior to the appointment set with the receptionist . I was told I needed X-rays and bloodwork prior to the procedure. The appointment was for a Friday and I told my job I needed the day off and I got it off, I called the hospital that was going to be the facility where the procedure was being done on Monday and asked where I needed to go to get the bloodwork and X-rays done. Asked for my information and was told there was nothing scheduled . Good grief , I called the office “ oh I’m working on it now as we speak , let me give you a call and let you know when I submit the paperwork . I head home and later on I get a phone call from the office .”I’m sorry but the doctor will not be able to do the procedure on Friday but we can on Thursday . I never called back and the hospital called me wanting to confirm my appointment for Thursday . I asked for the day off Friday , and not confirming with me the patient prior to setting the appointment hoping I would say yes is very unprofessional. This place is a joke and I hope it’s not the doctor I’m thinking the staff dropped the ball

The room felt cozy & comfortable enough to relax. Fantastic experience: I have been going to CA Wellness Institute for a few years since a Groupon in 2013. I have over 100 colonics here so I am a big fan on the quality of the colonics. I usually have mine with Carol, the founder. I believe she is booked solid but her second therapist, Serena is also good. I have seen her a few times. There is only one machine here at this wellness center. Serena works from 3 to 7. Carol does the early shift from 9 to 2. Her last colonic is 2. There are other great offerings like IV drip therapy, Ondamed, ozone, and more.
