Fantastic experience: I have been using Dr Walters for a few years, because she actually gives relief to my aches and pains. We also have very beneficial discussions during our sessions, which assists her in pinpointing the actual area causing the discomfort. I knew I was in pain, but I didn't realize to what extent. My first handful of sessions I would fall asleep on the table. I was actually relieving the issues that had me suffering more than i realized. My activity levels and mobility have come leaps and bounds from where we began. She's never done anything I have felt uncomfortable with, nor that I did not fully trust her. Doc provides service to me through Community Cares, part of VA Health. She's knowledgeable on how the system operates, and advocates for you when the VA says "you've used your allotted appointments. " I know when it's been too long since my last appointment, because my body and mind let me know. Acupuncture, cupping, massage, and tisdue scraping are a handful of the procedures I receive. I'm grateful to have been turned onto this healing, as it's natural and healthy. When Dr Walters hadn't been available in the past, and I had to receive treatment from another doctor, it was not the same. I have immense gratitude that we crossed paths, and she has helped me grow mentally in understanding myself and my body.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Walter’s is a magnificent practitioner. She actively listens to all of your concerns and provides an excellent treatment that typically includes acupuncture, bodywork, cupping, and moxibustion if appropriate. Her herbal medicine knowledge is vast and she knows when to recommend the right supplements too. Dr. Walter’s has a lot of experience treating military veterans and deeply cares about giving them the best acupuncture and TCM treatment possible. Fantastic experience: Dr. Honu performed my first comprehensive acupuncture session. I'd wanted to try acupuncture for some time but was intimidated, as I don't like needles. However, Dr. Honu's presence radiated a gentle, compassionate warmth that soothed me from the moment I arrived. She was perfectly attuned to my needs so that her application of the needles felt less like the intrusion of a foreign body and more like the flexibility of introduction. I felt my body begin to relax part by part meanwhile Dr. Honu was either peacefully silent or quietly and kindly answering my (admittedly childlike) questions.
