Fantastic experience: If you’re wanting to lose weight then Dr Alobeid is who you need to see! He’s so passionate & well educated about weight loss and guides you step by step. My own experience has been tremendous. I started April 2023 and so far have lost 55 lbs. Dr Alobeid is very encouraging, upbeat, answers questions, explains things, shows the progress you’ve made so far with BMI, percentages, health benefits etc. He just encourages you to push forward. Fantastic experience: In November of 2022, I was diagnosed with type two diabetes. Leading me to start a medication called mounjaro. I was 255lbs and 5’7. I have been seeing dr Alobeid since March 2023 and as of today October 2023 I weigh 192lbs . Seeing him monthly and keeping myself in check I have lost over 60lbs and my blood pressure’s lower, my a1c is lower and I discovered I was insulin resistant while visiting as he knew what tests to run and check of causes of obesity. I recommend not waiting any longer if you struggle with weight. Start your healthy journey now . He will teach you many things that contribute to weight gain and it’s not always about food.

Negative experience: I was referred to dr. Alobeid by my general dr. Went in for my first visit to go over treatment and he took my blood without fasting and then administered the first shot of the weight loss shot. After I received it. I got severely sick and asked for my money back. I did not even receive all my money back in a form of a check after they could not find my transaction in their system. When I paid. Never going back here

Negative experience: Warning don't waste your time! Been going here since 2014 I'm not sure what has taken me so long to realize he's a awful person ! Since that time he has not been able to keep help because I've seen him yell at his Employees ! If you want to lose weight just eat healthy there is no other way around it phentermine is very dangerous once you get off it you gain all it back and more! If you go there for something else he doesn't care to here about it he just wants to give you medicine you don't need in your body believe he's going to kill someone! Walks out of the room before your done talking! I have so many stories could tell!

Negative experience: I went to see Dr. Alobeid twice and lets just say he wasn't the right fit for me. He drew my bloodwork without fasting, and next visit it showed my sugars were high. He basically said I was pre diabetic and prescribed metformen for insulin resistant. My 1st visit, he showed up super late. My appointment was at 9 am and he arrived at the clinic at 10am. There was several people ahead of me so needless to say he got into my room later than I expected. Didnt apologize just jumped into the visit as if nothing was wrong. He kept interrupting my 5 min visit with pharmacy calls and just wasn't considerate of my time. I later went into mychart and saw he was documenting lies. He stated he spent extensive time on my visit and went over medication side effects which was not accurate. Working at doctors offices myself I know they document this to be able to bill higher visit, if its actually done. The nutritionist wasn't much help. I thought she would provide a meal plan but she just went over how much calories and carbs i should be eating and called it a day. Very dissapointed on how this doctor runs his clinic.

Negative experience: Will not be back at all scheduled an appointment online watched 7 people go in front of me to be told that online appointment are just like walk ins how is that possible an appointment is an appointment so don’t schedule online because you will be there for 2 plus hours I literally left crying because this was my chance to start my weight loss journey and just like that it got destroyed…. Extremely unprofessional won’t be back .

Fantastic experience: I wrote a negative review a while back which I feel bad for doing. I thought this dr didn't know what he was doing and judged his work off of one person in the office. Dr. Taser took the time to call me and ask me to come back in and see him personally. I did with hesitation but it was probably the best thing I could possibly do. He explained his education and knowledge. He gave me so much advice and took the time to explain why my body is doing what it's doing. Needless to say this Dr deserves a 10 star rating in my book. He's over working himself to help people and could have turned a blind eye to me and my review but he didn't. This Dr is not short of work or patients. If you're lucky enough to see him DO IT!!!!

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough about the staff at Dr Alobeid’s office. One employee has gone ABOVE ABOVE ABOVE and WAY!!!!! BEYOND what I have ever have experienced with care and duties from a health care office. LAUREN not only worked on providing answers and resolution after hours (and before hours) but made absolute sure that my husband was not left with a lapse in medication. She provided ideas and resolution to the problem with insurance and even a backup plan if that fell through. The InBody scan was a great tool to understand my body composition and track my progress. I not only lost 11% body fat, but gained muscle mass! My normal general doctor told me that 210 might just be my normal weight since diet, fasting and working out wasn’t working. But as soon as I started seeing Dr.Alobeid and with the medicine he put me on I lost 45lbs. I had a knee surgery and I gain a little back but I have been able to maintain pretty well and I feel great! I’m so thankful! Fantastic experience: I went to this office because I needed help getting me on track to a healthier better me. I went and all I can say is I went from 267 to 236 in 3 months. I changed my diet and took the supplements they provided to me and I feel great!! I still have about 20 more lbs to go to reach my goal weight but I'm loving the direction that my health is going. All of the staff is very nice and they make you feel so good about your progress. I most definitely recommend going and checking them out.

Negative experience: My wife is extremely self-conscious about her weight and was looking for a medical professional who would treat her obesity with respect. Dr Alobeid did not. After only about 6 months of visits with him and his office, she had reached a plateau of weight loss about 10 pounds under what she had previously weighed. This doctor behaved in an offensively unprofessional manner by accusing her of diverting from her treatment plan (she didn't) and pinched her underarm, shook it, and angrily told her that it was not acceptable to him and his 'statistics'. I'm sure most people looking for a weight loss doctor would expect a level of discretion during their counseling. This man was completely void of it and she has not returned. It is clear to me that this doctor would rather collect his paychecks to afford his Tesla than actually help the people he should be prepared to serve. This 'doctor' deserves zero stars, but that is not an option.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Alobeid is an amazing doctor and so is the nutritionist! If you’re truly serious about weight loss and living a healthy lifestyle this is definitely the doctor to see! Fantastic experience: Researched many weight loss doctors to help my daughter (Kayla) lose weight but almost all of them wanted to prepare for surgery. We have been coming to Dr. Alobeid for almost a year now. She started when she was 17 years old. During our first visit we found the the staff to be very welcoming and helpful. We had lab work done, met with the nutritionist, and saw the doctor. They took the time to get to know my daughter and answered our questions and then some. Dr. Alobeid not only focused on the weight loss but also her health and took the time to explain the results of the lab work and how the weight loss would enhance her overall health. The best part is that, Dr. Alobeid is not focused on surgery to loss weight, but the life style changes that are necessary to make good choices. They don't expect everything to change overnight and encourage you to focus on one change at a time otherwise the plan is not going to be successful. My daughter is now 18 and has lost about 75 pounds. The weight loss has not only improved her health but has also improved her self-esteem. She feels better overall and has a lot more energy to do every day tasks. The changes I have seen in my daughter have been wonderful and I am so excited to her happier and more comfortable in her own skin. Fantastic experience: Dr. Alobeid is very knowledgeable of weigh loss and nutrition. Being consistent and sticking to the plan that they give you will work if you are mentally invested. Adjusting eating habits and exercising is the key. I suggest this method if you do not want or need surgery.

Fantastic experience: I started seeing Dr. Alobeid and team, November 2021. I have maintained about a 10 pound weight loss at every weigh in since June. (I hit a plateau at my latest appointment, although still losing almost 2 pounds in the past month). Altogether I have lost 54 pounds and I feel wonderful. My energy is coming back. I'm teaching dance lessons again, which I could previously not do, due to lack of energy and being out of breath from being overweight. At work, I walk about 5-7 miles daily, without fatigue. Fantastic experience: I am very excited about my experience with Dr Alobeid. He is very caring and concerned about helping me achieve my goals and is very informative and educational about what my tests mean and how I can further help myself achieve the goals I desire. He has done tests no other Dr has ever done before which has given me great insight as to the direction I need to go and i saw immediate results. He explains things well and is honest about the reality of where you are in relation to where you want to be with your body. I am very happy so far and will continue to see him. He is a specialist that has made me feel special. His office staff are kind, caring, & patient. I love that he has a dietician on staff who is so knowledgeable and really takes time to talk and get to know you. They all work as a team.

Fantastic experience: After following my previous primary care physicians recommendations of dieting and counting calories to combat my continuous weight gain, for nearly 10 years, with no positive results, my wife suggested I make an appointment with Dr. Alobeid. I followed her suggestion and made that appointment. Dr. Alobeid gave me a proper diagnosis and treatment. Well that was December of 2020. Since then I have lost over 50 pounds, and continue to see positive results week after week. Dr. Alobeid always provides clear explanations, he's caring, and takes the necessary time to answer your questions and address your concerns. The staff are great as well. They are extremely nice, attentive, knowledgeable, and always address any issues expediently. If you are currently in the same situation I was once in, gaining weight and not satisfied with your current healthcare provider. Then you need to set an appointment with Dr. Alobeid. He can and will help you.

He is knowledgable, caring, but also takes the minute to educate you as well ..on the WHYS , WHATS & HOWS. Fantastic experience: I love the staff, so nice & understanding, dr alobeid thanks to him for basicly saving my life if it wasnt for him being such a good dr i would be weighing more. every time i leave my appointment i always say hes such a good dr! really cares.

Negative experience: This so called Dr was the worst I've ever seen. He constantly forgot about my testing results. He was never up to date. This guy actually made a "joke" of me having an extremely serious life threatening viral disease and then later tells me he "was just kidding". Unbelievable!!!!! He should have his license removed! Avoid at all costs!!!!

Negative experience: I haven't lost much weight, no more than 10lbs. I have been going here since 2/2021. I have taken the medication regiment daily. Now I have called almost daily for a week. I can't get anyone on the phone or refills. I think the only reason I've been holding on is I'm afraid if I quit, I'll gain more weight... but I guess that's up to me. I have decided to be done today.

Fantastic experience: It has been 8 months since I started seeing Dr. Alobeid and his amazing staff, since day one I knew I was thankful to have found his practice. I’ve seen “weight loss” doctors in the past but none who cared about my personal needs until finding him. In the past 8 months I have received the information, tools, and support I needed to turn my health around! I have lost 23 pounds of FAT (which is a lot when you’re barely 5ft tall), I have cleaned up my entire lifestyle, and I have even began working out with a personal trainer thanks to the staffs recommendations on how to be successful in my weight loss journey. I’m excited about how I look and even more excited about how I feel! The truth is if I never would have found Dr.Alobeid, I would likely still be living with almost 50% body fat & would likely still be making unhealthy decisions for my body. However, that’s not my truth anymore. Now I am losing fat, gaining muscle, feeling more energized, and have much more confidence in my body, in myself, and in my future. 10/10 recommend this physician.

Fantastic experience: Excellent place to go if you are wanting to lose weight. I drive over an hour one way to see Dr. Alobeid and his wonderful staff. Dr. Alobeid has helped me lose nearly 45 pounds and has gotten me to a weight I haven’t seen on the scale in 10 years and I am confident that number will keep going lower. I have been on every diet and his methods/medication work and you are not on some crazy fad diet plan. Go see him, it will be the best decision you ever made!

Negative experience: Been seeing the doctor for over a year. Today was my last day. The older lady at the front desk does not know her job in its full capacity. Also, it’s unfortunate the lack of communication in the time of a nationwide pandemic to turn a patient away for care lacks empathy and is unethical as a healthcare provider. As people are trying to recover from a nation wide shut down while struggling to pay rent, car payments, make sure food is on the table someone is sitting at Dr. Alobeid’s front desk demanding a payment to cover a $100 old balance after insurance satisfied their portion which was way more than $100. No one ever asked can an arrangement be made or anything. Now I question if the quality and continuity of care is priority. Maybe the front desk needs to be trained on how to work collections properly in healthcare or allow a healthcare collection company to properly do the job. Allowing front desk staff to make clinical decision should be considered a risk.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to the good Dr by a co worker and I did not go for 6 months! I was sceptical . I watched her progress. I wish I had acted because my health only got worse. When I finally went ibhad not only gained more weight but my blood pressure was at stroke level! I had many other health issues as well that needed addressed but Dr was patient and was in this with me for the long hall! My weight started out at 279 and now at a year and a few months later I have lost almost 100 pounds! But more importantly I have my health and my life back!And you can do it too at any age!

Fantastic experience: I went into Dr. Alobeid's office for the first time in April 2020. It is now April 2021 and I have lost 100 lbs. I am very pleased with the treatment that I have received from Dr. Alobeid and his staff. My son has also been on a weight loss program with Dr. Alobeid and he is down over 120 lbs. Fantastic experience: A coworker of mine actually recommended Dr. Alobeid’s program to me. I remember thinking it was too good to be true. My coworker had lost so much weight and claimed he never had any weight loss surgeries. I had to see it myself to believe it and it totally worked. Fantastic experience: I was driving to the mall and I saw doctor face on the Billboard so I decided to call and make an appointment The staff was very friendly and helpful February was when I started like in the beginning, I was 285 Two weeks later down 264 two more weeks 253 I lost 33 Pounds in a month so I tell you ppl I'm so happy I decided to go and get help Dr. Yaser Alobeid, can help you the best way to do it if you are willing to help your self.start slow don’t go cold turkey for example if you eat fried chicken and you get a 6 peice cut it down to two no pop just water like I said he can help you but you gotta want to help your self.

I have been following up with him now for a few months on my weight lose journey and I can not believe my results. I have lost a total of 35 pounds in a little of 8 months give or take. Fantastic experience: I am very impressed ! When I first met Dr. Alobeid I thought it was going to be a typical in and out visit. You know where you’re left feeling like you weren’t really listened to and just handed a prescription to get you out of the office. (Unfortunately I have found this to be the norm amongst many doctors I have had in the past ) This visit was completely different he was wonderful. Not only did he listen to me and I mean actually listen, I left the office highly motivated because I finally had a resolution to my health issues! It can be very difficult finding a doctor as I have gone through several and have been misdiagnosed several times. Now I can rest a sure that I have found my permanent doctor . Negative experience: I was assigned this Doctor by my insurance because my last doctor changed the accepted insurance. I made an appt to establish myself as a patient here. When I arrived everything seemed good. The all female staff was friendly, the wait time was minimal. They called me to the back, took my vitals, blood and made friendly small talk with racist undertones directed towards the Hispanic nurse and her accent i Uncomfortably laughed. The nurses let me know that the doctor also specialized in weight loss and asked would I like to know more. I said sure, why not. The Hispanic nurse began to brag abt the success she experienced utilizing his weight loss methods, again I smiled and nodded uninterested. I proceeded to wait on the doctor abt 5 to 7 min which was fine. The doctor comes in and asked what I was there for. I replied my blood pressure and to establish myself as a patient. He asked abt my current conditions and I told him. He didn't seem to care much abt my current conditions and dove right into pushing his weight loss specialization. He repeated my weight to me 3 or 4 times litetally as I sat there confused abt his point. He didn't offer any natural remedies like diet or exercise. He instantly says Im gonna prescribe you a medication to help with weight loss. He says I usually wait until a patient's blood work to come back but for you I'll just go ahead and prescribe it. I said well if you usually wait for blood work before you give this medicine don't change up for me. He goes on to assure me everything would be fine. I then say well I'm not really comfortably taking pills, it took me a while to get comfortable taking my blood pressure medication so I'll just decline. He then moves me to another room so he could show me his Google reviews were good but only read the 1st 3. When that didn't persuade me to accept the pills he calls him a female nurse practitioner who vouched for the pills. I then declined again. I asked abt the side effects. He goes on to show me on the computer the side effects if being over weight and how the pills couldn't be as bad as the side effects of being over weight. I asked would it interact negatively with my current blood pressure medicine. He seemed confused abt my question, I repeated it 2 more times and the female nurse practitioner translated my question. They both said no it wouldn't and he said i wouldn't need my current BP medicine anymore. He insisted on prescribing it and being tired of going back and fourth I agreed with NO INTENTION ON TAKING THE MEDICINE NOR PICKING IT UP FROM THE PHARMACY. I walked to the front desk for a follow up appt for blood work results. I asked the receptionist did she know of any black women who had success stories with this Doctor. She thought for a min and said yes her God mother, who wanted to come back as a patient because she had gained the weight back. I asked what was the name of the medicine so I could Google it the doctor said the name so fast I didn't catch it. The receptionist said the generic name is TOPOMAX. I glanced at the Google results and told her not to send it to the pharmacy because I'm not taking it. She said well it's already sent and I said well i won't be picking it up she said ok. NOW, I HAVE NEVER SEEN A DOCTOR TRY TO PUSH SO HARD FOR A PATIENT TO TAKE A DANGEROUS MEDICATION FOR WEIGHT LOSS. REMINDS ME OF THAT RECALLED MEDICATION FROM 10 YEARS AGO CALLED FIN FIN OR PHIN PHIN.. I HAD ONE VISIT AND WILL NEVER BE BACK AND WILL MAKE SURE I TELL MY FRIENDS AND LOVED ONES NOT TO GO TO THIS OFFICE. After I got home I did more research on the medication they was pushing and the side effects are horrific I will post a pic of them. No wonder ppl loose weight taking the pills, they are damn near dying and a quarter past death while I'm this medicine. Well doctor you THOUGHT you had another victim but NOPE YOU MISSED ME GOTTA BE QUICKER THAN THAT. ID RATHER BE PLEASANTLY PLUMP THAN SKINNY AND SICK ALMOST DEAD.
