He is solid in his knowledge as a Internist and is creative (but judicious) in his application of best practice treatments that enhance his patients' recoveries from major diseases and physical trauma.

Fantastic experience: Very attentive to patients and thorough in his diagnosis. Prescribes medicines only when necessary, if supplements cannot do the job. A lot of medical common sense to make patients at ease. For a majority of us as patients, the implications of digestive and absorption problems are not well understood. Dr. Keith (rhythms better for me) has an uncanny way of conveying and explaining how these issues can become an ongoing impediment to our health and wellness. Above all, he never feels defensive when challenged or contradicted.

He treats me holistically, considering non-obvious causes for issues, and he is open to treatment beyond the narrow boundaries of western medicine. I particularly appreciate his focus on my unique body chemistry and issues related to digestive health. And best of all, I never feel rushed, and never feel talked down to. He takes all the time needed to help me understand his thinking and explain things clearly.

I have never spent less than 20 minutes in his office before examination. He always looks for a non-medicinal solution. And willing to take your calls over the week-end, listen to symptoms and if condition does not warrant an office visit, he will submit prescription to pharmacy if necessary. He is the best!

He has an open mind and personalizes his treatments - no cookie cutter approach there. He was able to help me with my Hashimotos when no other doctors had been able to make connections as to why I was feeling so bad. Thanks to him I can live a full and energetic life. I sent my cousin who had not been treated holistically by any other doctors and Dr. Berkowitz is now her doctor as well.
