Fantastic experience: I started my journey to regain my health almost a year ago as I was finishing my treatment for breast cancer. I started with acupuncture for neuropathy in my hands with Dr. Shulte and quickly found out it could also help the stomach issues I was having due to my cancer treatment. My white and red blood counts were very low when I started with Dr. Shulte at Healing Horizons, but both were back in normal ranges within a few months. After I started addressing the physical symptoms and side effects from cancer treatment and started to feel better, I soon realized there were unresolved emotional health issues that had gone unaddressed for decades and decided it was time to change that. Dr King was the perfect person to help me. She is experienced and very compassionate and helped me in a very short time. I cannot say enough about the calm, positive, healing environment that Healing Horizons embodies. The moment you walk in the door you are greeted by smiling friendly staff which made me know I had found the right place to help me get my health back. Thank you to Dr. Shulte, Dr. King, and everyone at Healing Horizons who played a part in helping me become a much healthier person than I was a year ago.

Negative experience: This was the most awful experience I ever had with regard to acupuncture and cupping. I will never recommend or patronize this business. The front desk staff is very nice and massage was great but as far as the experience I had, I can’t believe I spent any money to be abused with needles by Joseph as he recounted his horrible divorce as he was placing needles and then left me there without checking on me. I was very uncomfortable and the needle was poking me, he never checked on me. I felt gross after this treatment. He is also not experienced in cupping. Then to be told by April that cupping wasn’t “recommend “ for me after I complained about my experience with Joseph. Well, I switched to a different practitioner who does the BEST cupping with glass cups and is an excellent acupuncturist. It is very effective and works for my problem. Knowing your body and what helps and doesn’t help and then to be unsupported when you are in a vulnerable place is the worst disservice any healing practitioner can give to a client. I’m glad all these other people had great experiences but use caution and judge for yourself.

Fantastic experience: For several years, I found no real help for my condition. My doctor and credible medical sites recommended only a steroid as treatment. It did not work for me. My heath deteriorated. A friend told me about an amazingly knowledgeable nutrition and memory coach called Judith Olesen. I went to see her. She studied my health situation thoroughly and created a plan that addresses the whole state of my health and its complexity. I began to feel slightly better fairly quickly and have continued to see incremental improvements since then.

Fantastic experience: Dr. April Schulte has been a provider of mine for over 12 years. I started with acupuncture treatments after ongoing shoulder injuries from competitive swimming. As a young kid, the idea of acupuncture was daunting, but the relief I experienced kept me coming back. April was able to manage my pain and allow me to continue competing in the sport I loved for years to come! In addition to pain management, April treated me for illnesses, allergies, menstruation and general health and wellness. She is always able to answer my questions about the Chinese medicine approach and figure out a way to balance holistic care with western medicine. A few years ago I was in a life altering car accident, resulting in major injuries to the entire right side of my body. As soon as it was safe and comfortable for me to do so, I returned to healing horizons to continue my healing journey and focused on nerve pain, emotional stress, and muscular discomfort through acupuncture. I’ve utilized multiple modalities that healing horizons offer, including massage, rolfing, homeopathy and others, but April has long been my most supportive and effective provider. The establishment and everyone who works there is welcoming, calming and supportive of individual healing journeys. I’m a firm advocate in her care and have referred family and friends over the years who have also had positive results after her treatments. 20 years of doing what she loves and treating multitudes of patients is a testament to the skill of her craft!! Fantastic experience: My favorite place ever Healing Horizons Integrated Health Solutions is having their 20 Year Anniversary!! I found them about 4 maybe 5 years ago and I don’t know what took me down long!! Dr. April Schulte, Joseph and the whole staff are AMAZING!! They have helped me with chiropractic adjustments, acupuncture, homeopathy, massage and other natural wellness stuff that comes up for my whole family! They got me back on my feet when I got covid. They saved my dad when he had the same! Dr April answers all my crazy questions and always there to help us! Joseph and his acupuncture and homeopathy is unbeatable!! Just last week I saw him for terrible knee pain - his acupuncture skills have taken my pain away totally! I had to stop back by and tell him cause I can’t believe it!! Negative experience: Most awful “acupuncture”/massage place I’ve been to. It caused my anxiety to be worse. Not to mention the entire time I was being treated I couldn’t think of one specific traumatic, so I was pretty much told that my anxiety wasn’t real because of that.

Fantastic experience: When I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Heinecke I was at the limit to my back pain. I couldn't walk the morning of my first visit. When Dr. Heinecke started asking me questions I felt a big relief just knowing how dedicated to helping me he was. Through the whole process before working on me he educated me on the source of my pain (a bulged disc) and what outcomes to expect. We had a game plan before we started but I was blown away by the results! The pain had eased throughout the day and continued to get better for a week until our second visit. After that I had all my strength back, and in the following days I noticed increased strength and mobility. I haven't felt better in years prior to my back pain!!

Fantastic experience: I’ve waited a year to leave a review. In a year, they have helped me with sleep deprivation, severe back pain after a car accident, and a number of other health issues. Every woman should be seen here. The doctors work together for comprehensive care. Very reasonable price and more than worth it.

Negative experience: I went to see Michael Hawthorne to get an adjustment and he snapped my neck so bad that I got extremely dizzy and I told him that I was dizzy and he just walked out of the room and showed no concern what so ever. If this is the kind of chiropractic service your looking for, see him. I don't recommend him any shape way or form. Suffering to this day.

Negative experience: If I could give them 0 stars, I would. I called to schedule a consult, and let the receptionist know I would be using insurance. I get to my appointment and let Dr. Gochee know that I'd be using insurance as well. She immediately cut me off and told me that I have to pay upfront, and it's $150 for a CONSULT! They apparently don't accept insurance, but they didn't bother to tell me that. Dr. Gochee then proceeded to tell me if money is an issue she didn't want to continue. Of course money is an issue, I was planning on using insurance, suddenly can't, and it's $150 for a consult. She then told me she's an amazing physician but she just doesn't accept insurance, and told me I could go to other chiropractors who do accept insurance, she just doesn't know how good they are. Do not try to build yourself up and tear other physicians down to try and keep me. I do NOT recommend going here.

Fantastic experience: The care I receive at Healing Horizons is an irreplaceable gift!! Over the past year, I have fought a battle with and beat breast cancer, and I truly believe that the care I received from everyone of the practitioners I saw at HH helped me win my battle with flying colors. April and her staff walked beside me while I went through chemo and radiation, and the side-effects of that treament were so much more tolerable because of what HH was able to offer. I started seeing Krissy post-cancer treatments for some other chronic issues, and her efforts and skill have truly minimized my pain level and improved my ability to get moving again. I am so thankful that I found Healing Horizons, and that they were, and still are, a part of my kick-cancer's-butt team!!!

Fantastic experience: Great experience with April. My first treatment has relieved more of my back and arm pain. I believe completely in acupuncture, homeopathy & alternative medicine. After several surgeries I am done with it. I look forward to my next visit and becoming pain free or the ability to deal with pain that remains as we age.

Fantastic experience: I saw Kirk for Rolfing. He was wonderful! The office was very clean and inviting. Great atmosphere and I was treated very well. Initially I was intimidated by Rolfing, but Nicole (the receptionist) was very helpful and I am soooo glad I did it! 5 star all the way around!
