Negative experience: Slow at refilling prescriptions, not very helpful, and seem to be unable to keep track of deliveries. I called 3 days in a row about the status of my prescription after it had been over 10 days. First day I was told it was shipping out that day. Next day I was told “I don’t know who you talked to but it’s being shipped out today.” Called the third day and they said it was already shipped out the first day and yet here I am still waiting for my prescription and UPS doesn’t have it because their tracker hasn’t updated.

Fantastic experience: We've had some trouble with Rx eye drops that we got from another pharmacy, including a dropper that wasn't working right. Ed and the pharmacy staff at Johnson were incredibly helpful about advising us on how to solve our problem, even though they did not sell us the drops in the first. We'll be going to Johnson for the next round of meds. Also just a very peaceful environment inside the shop.

Fantastic experience: I have not been yet but have heard amazing things from my neighbor about this store period they make multiple compounds have all natural and organic products and from what I've been told the prices are reasonable for such a quality product. Also note that there is a certain day each month that they do a discount so if you're looking to save some money that would be something to look into Because compounds and organic and all natural healing medicines do not come cheap period I will update this review after going personally and seeing for myself but for right now they get 5 Stars in my book after what I've heard about them.

Fantastic experience: The people and service are great! They shipped a package, that needed refridgeration, to me via UPS; and on the delivery date, unbeknownst to me, UPS delivered my package to our back door, which they had never have done in the past. I got the delivery confirmation and when I didn't see in on my front steps, I thought it was misdelivered. I even checked the back door, but there was no package there. I called Johnson Compounding & Wellness and they immediately offered to send a new package and refund my money for the first package. As it turned out, my wife had brought in the package unbeknownst me and put it in our downstairs refridgerator. When I found out, I called JCW back and they cancelled the new order. I loved that they believed what I said and took immediate action to make sure I got my medication.

Negative experience: Extremely rude over the phone

Negative experience: Incredibly slow service - it should not take almost 2 weeks to process a refill for a prescription. The pharmacy seems to miss details consistently as well - attempting to set mail orders to local pickup, causing additional confusion.

No details, of course, but the staff have worked with me on multiple instances to provide the absolute top quality care. Better outcomes, notable efficiency, admirable disposition and attitudes. I have no notes! Only praise. Well earned. 5/5 stars, annoyed I can not give more stars.

Fantastic experience: (update 4/2023- ordered some r-hist from the website. Easy checkout process, tracking was sent, package arrived really quickly, and my wife's allergies were magically cured. Thanks again to Johnson Compounding and Wellness) I discovered this place on a trip up to Boston. Finally, a pharmacy that is integrative in their approach to medicine. I had a discussion with one of their pharmacists and functional dietitians. Their recommendations helped clean my gut and actually made me feel better! Fantastic experience: We have been using the services of Johnson Compounding for over 2 years and have nothing but good things to say. Prescriptions have been filled and shipped in a timely fashion. Any questions, whether insurance or medication related, have been answered throughly and professionally. I feel I can depend on Johnson Compounding to meet my specialty medication needs.

Negative experience: They took 3 weeks to fill my medication, with no communication that it would be delayed or that they were having a staffing issue. They had created a label, so I thought it would be on its way. Then, even after they took so long to get it made, they never called me to see if I would like expedited shipping and they sent it ground to Washington State creating another week’s delay. This was for medication, not herbs or vitamins. I finally had to have my doctor contact another pharmacy to overnight medication to me. This is terrible service and practice.

Negative experience: They made my medication in a wrong way and refused to remake it even when the Doctor informed me they are doing it in a old way. I ordered it with different compounding pharmacy and it was all fine no issue. And it was the same prescription.

Positive experience: Very clean well organized place. Top of the line products.

Negative experience: Eight days is entirely too long to wait for an over-the-counter medication to be compounded into a liquid. Front Desk staff are always professional. However, it is quicker and more informative for a knowledgeable pharmacist to answer questions. Please state full credit card payment is REQUIRED PRIOR to compounding upfront rather than after ‘gathering data’ and asking patients/customers for info already in the prescription.

Fantastic experience: This pharmacy is awesome. They are very professional, and one of the only true compounding pharmacy around. So, if you need medication compounded for your kid, or otherwise, go no further this is the place. We've been using them for years, they are on the ball, easy to communicate with, and accommodating.

Negative experience: As a retired person on a fixed income , I believe in never Giving up. My compound medication from Johnsons, was costing me 300.00 per month, not including the 50 minute ride each way twice a month. Well I decided to research and talk to my doctors about the cost. There was no possible way I could spend that kind of money and time for the rest of my life. It took a little over a month, but I found another pharmacy to make the exact same compound for my eye, in Boston, and the cost? Only 95.00 month. That's a hell of a savings. And I'm getting 4 months worth at a time. So only 4 trips a year to Boston. So folks. Look around. Talk to your doctors. Put the internet to use for you. I did and happy about it.

Fantastic experience: Walking in, I had never felt more welcome at a store in Waltham. The staff was friendly and full of positive energy. I also learned lots about myself and overall health, after talking briefly with their new Dietitian! I will certainly be going there more often. Fantastic experience: Five years ago after a total knee replacement, I stopped by to pick-up products to help with swelling and pain. It was such a chore, and painful to boot, getting in and out of my litle car. Well I pulled into their parking lot and rang them up to ask if they would come out to my car, you know like curbside service, so that I would not have to struggle out of my car. Wow!! They cheerfully said YES. I love their products and I cherish working with a merchant who really cares about their customers. I have recommended them to dozens of people over the years and will continue to do so. I'm gonna call them now to order more of their New England allergy blend(compound?). Great stuff!

Fantastic experience: I had such a great experience at Johnson Compounding today. Sarah and her staff were ready and willing to answer my hundreds of questions about optimizing my thyroid health. I went in feeling so uncertain of what path to truly take with my supplements and I left feeling renewed, educated and at ease. I learned about the tests I need and what times to take my supplements throughout the day. Also, a lot of my supplements were on sale. I wish I had time to work there! They really are a godsend.

Positive experience: Emailed this company several times in the past few month to get information to submit to my health insurance company because I pay through my Dr. directly. Only got an email back saying they were closed on New Year's and that my email would be submitted to someone at the pharmacy. I'm still waiting for the person at the pharmacy to get back to me. I've dealt with compounding pharmacies before and this is the most difficult one to date. UPDATE: Heard back from the company by email and was very helpful with providing the forms I needed. Spoke to gentleman today and he apologized for the delay from previous emails that were sent a while back and they wete transitioning from the former ownership.

Recently I asked one of them if they could help with my poor energy level and they showed me a natural product I can easily make as I need it. Because I don,t live near the pharmacy they even ship my medication to me, but whenever I can I drive there . Great place, great staff!
