Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Tewksbury Sports Club for several years now, and it’s truly become one of my favorite places. The community here is incredible—everyone is so supportive, encouraging, and welcoming. From the trainers to the members, there’s always a positive vibe that makes working out something I actually look forward to. Over the years, I’ve not only seen amazing progress physically, but I’ve also grown so much more confident in myself. This gym has helped me build healthy habits, reach personal goals, and feel genuinely proud of what I’ve accomplished. I’m so grateful to be part of such a motivating and uplifting community!

Fantastic experience: I have been working with April 2-3 days a week for the past 1.5-2 years. I love switching up my routine. Being in a wheelchair not having any movement from the waist down definitely changes the way we do things but April is always thinking of new ways to challenge my body! I am progressing like crazy and enjoying every second of it!

Fantastic experience: Highly satisfied with Tewksbury sports club and my personal trainer Logan. Great facility. Logan is an effective trainer and has been a great help in finding my weak spots and formulating a plan to strengthen them. His whole body approach has improved my life greatly. I highly recommend Logan for both strength training and working on problem areas.

Fantastic experience: Awesome gym, with great staff and trainers. The equipment is well maintained, the gym is very clean and during peak hours there are plenty of machines to use. I've been working with personal trainer Logan Clancy for three months now. He's shown me fantastic workouts that are already showing results. He helps motivate me with respect and encouragement. Does a great job at tailoring exercises based on experience and age. I highly recommend him for training.

Fantastic experience: TSC is a wonderful gym for people of all.ages and fitness levels. The staff are incredibly welcoming and helpful. There is lots of equipment on multiple levels so it is always easy to find the right space to get in the perfect workout.

I’ve made many friends being here. The gym has everything you need, tons of equipment, great classes, and super friendly staff who always make you feel welcome. It’s clean, never too crowded when I go, and it feels like a place where people come to better themselves, not just show off. If you’re serious about changing your life and want a gym that feels like a second home, this is it.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member for 18 months and I’ve only had positive experiences here. I’ve taken some classes as well as worked with their trainers. They are constantly cleaning the gym to keep it spotless. They replace old equipment frequently. The biggest asset is the front desk team. They greet customers warmly and know everyone by name. I endorse this gym for any of your fitness goals.

Fantastic experience: As a decades long member of my local gym that closed, I investigated my options and found TSC's 30 day trial to be a generous offer I couldn't refuse. Enter professional staff, motivating instructors, supportive members, (and the cutest mascots around) and I'm glad I made this choice. I especially appreciate the 1st floor of the space that maintains a *small gym* feel, but TSC truly has something for everyone and actively strives to keep building its community.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member of TSC for 15 years. They have a wide variety of gym equipment to choose from and they offer many group classes with highly qualified instructors. The facility is always clean and well maintained and the staff is super friendly and welcoming. Between the staff and the members, TSC offers a positive and motivating environment and I am proud to be a member there!!

They have fantastic updated equipment that provides for a top tier gym experience. The gym itself is clean and offers a variety of classes and equipment for all members. Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member of this gym for the last 12 years. Before that I was a member of several other gyms . I can say without a shadow of a doubt that this is the cleanest and most well maintained and updated gym I’ve ever belonged to . The gym community here is very friendly as well . Fantastic experience: TSC welcomed me with open arms when I was brand new to the gym experience. The staff provides a positive environment for members of all ability. TSC has become a regular part of my day over the last few years. Even after moving, I still commute back to Tewksbury for this elite gym community!

Negative experience: Place okay. Employees are mostly rude especially the people opening the gym. They open later than time indicated and act as if it's their right. Some employees on the floor are respectful but this place has deteriorated through the years.. With more gyms opening around town, you would think that they would teach their employees better customer service.

Fantastic experience: I love it here, they are so welcoming and kind. It’s a family type atmosphere! Haley’s the best.

Fantastic experience: Coming from Lifetime Fitness in Burlington I was shocked to see TSC as the “generic brand” of LT. Tewksbury Sports Club has everything Lifetime Fitness offers at a fraction of the price. Physical therapy, tanning, salon & boutique are located on site as well as a dry cleaner. Personal training is offered, a variety of fitness classes and the facility itself is massive with 3 full floors. It’s shockingly clean and organized and staff are always helpful. No spa unfortunately but there are large showers in each locker room. I was paying $285 per month at Lifetime just for the name, this sports club offers me everything I was getting before at a price tag of only $50.

Negative experience: Soso. Mostly weird vibes. Staff is okay. Equipment is about average. I will not go next time I’m in town looking for a place to workout. My sibling was a member, but in their first month. They cancelled (in person, very important as ‘stated in fine print’ on the contract) before we left the gym that day. Overall poor quality of staff and equipment, even though they “strive for the very best.”

The employees are super welcoming and the atmosphere is overall a great vibe. The owner Pat and his daughter Haley are the BEST. Great machines and super clean also. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a new gym to feel comfortable in!

Fantastic experience: This gym has it all! Switching over to Tewksbury Sports Club last year was the best decision I’ve made for my overall health in a long time. Speaking as someone who’s been a member at Planet Fitness and a few other chains, these gyms in the surrounding Tewksbury area do not hold a candle to this sports club. If you are ready to get serious about your health and make it a priority, this is where you want to be. I’m grateful to have found such a wonderful community to help me along my fitness journey that I’ve always struggled with, and I would encourage anyone looking for real growth to give it a try. This is the first time I’ve felt at home showing up to a gym all thanks to the accommodating staff and trainers that promote such a positive environment, so thank you TSC. My only regret is not trying this gym sooner!

Fantastic experience: I joined TSC a few months ago after years of not going to the gym. I'm so glad that I chose this place. I can't say enough about it! The employees are super welcoming and friendly, the classes are great, so is the atmosphere. If you're looking for a great place to work out and feel comfortable, this is it!

Positive experience: Good equipment, good staff, terrible hours, music is a bit all over the place and it’s all electronic club music, very clean, lots of windows for natural lighting, wish that all the other features were more accessible as in we could openly use the sauna or the Zumba room (we’re paying for these features) overall a good experience that could be a little better. But I still get an amazing workout and good pump here with no intentions of switching gyms any time soon

Fantastic experience: They offer an amazing machine that gives u a brake down of everything! Body fat , water , bone density, etc …It can tell u if u favor one side over the other ( walking or even or if ur posture needs work . This sports club is designed for anyone with the desire to do better and live a healthier life style! The staff is friendly and welcoming; not only that but the work they do with their community to me is everything ! Thank u guys! Ps: sister gyms with Arlington makes it great when I’m visiting friends , I was able to go into the gym in Arlington without any issues.

Fantastic experience: Best gym I've ever signed up for. Membership is transparent and affordable (cancellation was super easy unlike other gyms before I moved). Good hours if you need to work out before you head into work. Positive atmosphere and professional staff (Pete is the GOAT). Equipment is top of the line (they even got a hip thrust machine) and the layout flows when you have to get to another exercise. Restrooms are remarkably clean and hallways are stocked to the gills with macro friendly snacks and preworkout in their vending machines. Friendly community of hard working fitness enthusiasts. Really chill trial period if on the fence for joining, but after a week I was hooked. Can't ask for anything better.

Positive experience: I personally like this gym a lot. The cardio equipment I use is not super popular so there's always availability for it (stair master/elliptical/bike). The machines I like to use for weight training are also usually available. I don't lift weights much but that area does get crowded (especially if there's personal training session going on). The reason why I didn't give it 5 star is the price. It's a lot higher than many of the other places. I also really love yoga but the yoga class here is very different from a yoga class you get in an actual yoga studio.

Fantastic experience: I spent 3 weeks in the area this summer. I found Tewksbury Sports Club online and gave it a shot as a place to workout. I live in Vrginia, am 53 and post Knee Replacement. The facility was PERFECT for me! I worked out every day. The facilities are excellent, clean and w a wide variety and the staff was awesome w a clientele who took it seriously but not rude. As a former athlete I have worked out at clubs all over and I am truly sad that I cannot have this as my “home gym”. When visiting family up here this will be something I will always look forward to! Fantastic experience: My wife and I have been coming to this gym almost everyday for years and we love it here. It’s convenient for me because it’s on my way to and from work. They have everything you need for a great workout, whether you’re strength or cardiovascular training. They have plenty of equipment and accessories to choose from which I really like. I enjoy the turf section, it’s a great area for stretching but it’s also equipped with punching bags, ropes, boxes, and sleds. When I come in, it always smells so clean! Also, it’s family owned and operated which I 100% love to support! I can say over the years, Tsc has always found ways to give members the best experience, I’ve noticed they’re continuously updating they’re machines/equipment or it’s painting or installing new floors (which I saw, looks great btw). They have new stair masters which my wife loves! Thank you for being a great gym for us keep up the great work!

Negative experience: BEWARE of this gym. My family and I had a terrible experience at TSC. I purchased the $30 membership which said it included "Guest privileges". I went with my son once, and then the next time we went, they said my guest privileges were only for one guest a single time a month. There was no mention of this in the fine print of the contract, and I was beyond unhappy. It is also over priced for not having any great amenities.

Negative experience: TSC is not a good gym. It is overpriced and I recommend going to crunch fitness instead. TSC does not have a sauna or steam room which should be included in the price you are paying TSC. I was also not satisfied with the equipment. They do not have a good area for deadlifts or squats. Staff is very unfriendly and would not let me cancel my membership over the phone.

Negative experience: TSC is possibly the worst gym in northeast Massachusetts. I would avoid this gym at all costs if you live in the area. The environment is toxic because the staff is arrogant and unwelcoming. The other members of the club are masculine and hostile and it is difficult having a good workout at this club when you are faced with dealing with people like that. Also, One of the workers threatened to kick me out because I was barefoot while squatting. Never in my 10 years of going to different gyms have I had an employee threaten me like that. Within the week I canceled my TSC membership, and switched to planet fitness because I had to get away from that environment.

Fantastic experience: While visiting family in Billerica June 2-June 9, I initially discounted TSC because of past reviews about cancellation issues, enough so that I didn’t even call to see if they had day or week passes. I visited another club on Saturday, June 3, which was fine but more of a cross-fit type facility. I was going to go back a second time a few days later but then my nephew indicated he had a 30-day free pass to TSC and liked the facility. That was enough to make me call about a week pass. They did and on Tuesday afternoon, June 6, I stopped by with my fiancé and we were both set up and working out in a matter of 10-15 minutes. Fatima helped us out and she was very helpful and friendly. The week pass was $29. We worked out at TSC four days in a row, once in the PM peak time and three times around noon timeframe. We had terrific workouts and were very happy with the facility, especially the rule about not dropping or slamming weights. - Good call TSC. I will say the only negative was the confusing layout of the facility. The entrance and receptions is on the first floor, with reception being closest to the RT 38 side (Front) of the building. Parking is available on both the front and back and you can enter through the back but must use the corridor to pass by reception in order to get up to the second floor. Second floor has bathrooms/locker rooms, a turf room with basic cardio and some strength training and stretching equipment, and perhaps some other functional rooms that I didn’t see. From the second floor, there are some signs directing patrons to the main workout floor on the 3rd level. There’s plenty of cardio and strength training equipment on the 3rd floor with mainly Hoist and Precor equipment. I noticed the Hoist equipment was limited in total weight available to workout with when compared to Precor; on hoist I maxed out the available weight on a few leg exercises and the chest press. Exiting from the 3rd floor back to the lower floors was always confusing because you can’t really find the two exits on either side of the floor well from a distance. Those doors could have better wayfinding to help find them, especially if there was an emergency and they needed to be found fast. All four days we worked out there it was a challenge to locate the exits with ease. All in all, the fiancé and I will be back next time we visit. We were pleasantly surprised. Thanks TSC!

Positive experience: I love the services tewksbury sports club has to offer. The machines and equipment are amazing and up to date. The only thing is, I feel like the friendliness of the staff has decreased over the years. For example, you may or not be greeted when you walk past the front desk.

Negative experience: Despite cancelling my membership almost 2 years ago, I've been billed by them on and off over that period in excess of $500. Funny part is they disconnected their phones at the beginning of covid and stopped billing, and then had the audacity to resume it once again a couple of months later. I wonder how much money they've made from these shady business practices. Avoid at all costs.

Fantastic experience: Best and cleanest gym I’ve ever been too!! Everyone here is super nice and friendly! Plenty of equipment between 2 floors so you’re never left waiting to use a machine which I love! They also have a laundry mat in the same building, so I’m able to switch loads and continue my workout, super convenient!

Negative experience: At the start of covid-19, us members were not kept up to date thrugh e-mail, social media or there web page. When I called to try and cancel they had nobody answering the phone. A few moths later I got a charge for a month of the club that I never went to due to covid-19. Again there was no update informing me about re-opening and they required masks to work out (this is bad for your respitory health). I asked over the phone to cancel my membership and reimburse me due to the extenuating circumstances. They said they no longer could...only thru snail mail or in person. I am sad to say I am upset with their communication and will not choose to re join this gym ever again.

Negative experience: No updates posted on their website about when they intend to open again as advertised on the site. No answer by phone, and no greetings to inform callers of a possible reopen date either.

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough about this gym! I have been to gyms up and down the east coast and this really is my favorite. The place is huge and has everything you could ever need for a complete workout. The staff is extremely friendly and genuine since day one. I believe the girl who signed me up was named Erin and today I brought my brother with me and Claribel signed him up, both ladies were extremely informative about what the gym has to offer. Not sure what the guys name is but I was told he is the COO, also super friendly, informative and motivating. Thanks for a great experience, I will continue to tell everyone I know in the area about this gym!

Positive experience: The layout is weird, but it is clean and the staff is friendly. The have 2 30 minute circuit rooms (yes separate rooms which is nice), one of which has its own abs circuit (which of the 6 I have been to,this is the only one that has one).
