Fantastic experience: I have had chronic shoulder pain for over 5 yrs and saw Dr. Tim, he performed evaluation and treatment on me. He adjusted my shoulder and alignment on my back and chest. I was able to reach my arm up and reach back up against my back, and was able to sleep well with pain. I highly recommend Dr. Tim for any chronic pain, I will definitely return for more treatments.

The man that answers the phone at this place is rude inconsiderate arrogant and indifferent. He couldn't care less what you think or what you're going to tell his employer. Beware! The best lawyer or physician you have is one that you can get along with that you respect and that understands you and respects you. I know better. Hopefully you will too. The mendacity!

I have been so impressed with his ability to discern what is going on, discuss options of care to address my ailments and take the time to get me progressively better and better each time I come in. Fantastic experience: I am a physician myself and have seen many functional medicine doctors. Dr Tim is an amazing provider, very skilled, knowledgeable and empathetic. I had head and respiratory cold, full body pain, body aches and fatigue before ibsaw him. He used ozone therapy, PEMF, cold laser therapy and chiropractic adjustment. Negative experience: The worst service ever they charge me $297 for talking not even 5 minutes .without my permission They just asked me for a credit card to fill out the application. I found out the other day they charge me. $297 bad business

Fantastic experience: I couldn't rave about this clinic more!! If you're looking for a thoughtful, kind, informed Doctor to handle your health (and take the time to listen and explain treatments), Dr. Tim is your guy! He spent 40 minutes on the phone with my husband (before I was even a patient) explaining the ozone treatments he offered for the sinuses and then spent another 30 with me when I met him. He is one of the most kind + compassionate listeners I've ever met. I've been a lifelong chronic sinus sufferer and have a completely blocked sinus on my left side. The first time we did an ozone sinus treatment, my sinuses ran for an hour afterwards and I got the best night sleep I've had in years. I went back for a second treatment and continued to breathe well. And I loved the treatments so much that I ended up getting my ozone generator and Dr. Tim continued to help with that as well. He is a wealth of information and truly cares about you. Compassion + education together are a winning combination and Dr. Tim has them both!

Fantastic experience: I have been to many chiropractic centers in the Bay throughout my life - I even worked for one as a massage therapist and this is the best chiropractic place I've ever been to!! Seriously. In a nutshell Dr Tim is very knowledgeable - he explains everything to me in ways that I can understand, he is very thorough with his work and is kind :) Dr Tim truly understands the body and how pain in one region can cause issues somewhere else, therefore every part from my head to toe is getting attention and I am loving his work and results!! I'm 29 and had been experiencing chronic low back pain, I thought I had a deviated disc tbh from lifting weights. I have also had some hip issues for the past few years that I kind of just shrugged off and lived with it.. I also had the worst insomnia that got worse through the pandemic. I was going to bed anywhere between 1 am - 3am. I was doing terribly, but Im so glad I found Dr Tim. I felt immediate relief and a change just after my 1st session. I have now had 3 and Im really happy with the difference it's making in my life. Im actually mad I didnt come sooner. I feel much more aligned, my posture is much better and also happy to report that it has improved my sleep. I am now getting to bed around 10pm and waking up feeling well rested. I received ozone, cold laser and PEMF treatments. Their rates are reasonable, and the clinic has a happy positive vibe. Glad I found this place. I’ll definitely be going back!

Negative experience: If you want to waste your time and money, go to Optimized Wellness. Don’t be fooled by Nina Campagna. She doesn’t know what wellness looks like and is a dishonest person. Save your money and go to your MD who has an expert degree. Just google the rest and you will be better off than paying cash for scams.

Fantastic experience: Maintaining an active and busy lifestyle is very important to me. As a high level competitive tennis player my main focus is recovery and keeping my body healthy and injury free. Recently, I pulled my hamstring to the point that it hampered my sleep, activity, cross train and ability to perform daily activities. I found Optimized Wellness Center online and was curious about the functional medicine approach. I really wanted to avoid taking unnecessary drugs, so Dr. Tim’s approach was very interesting and made a lot of sense. I have tried many things including massage, PT, prescription medications, stretching, etc. but it never really went away. He was great in explaining why he was doing certain treatments and best of all I felt he had a solid understanding of my injury and also how my body has overcompensated for the injury. I found his use of various techniques helped realign my body and helped foster circulation which improved and sped up my recovery. He used several therapies that were unique, such as cold laser, ozone, myofascial release and some unique neurologic adjustments. Dr Tim was really thorough with his analysis and treatment and I left each session feeling like he did as much as he could, and I looked forward to seeing the results of the treatment. I have to say that after 2 sessions, my hamstring has significantly improved. I was told I would not be able to run for at least 3-4 weeks but after 2 weeks, I am back to the gym and my ability to enjoy my daily workouts and activity has been restored. I can confidently recommend Dr. Tim and Optimized Wellness Center.

Fantastic experience: I have been receiving chiropractic care for 30 years. Seeing Tim offered me the opportunity to receive a neurological assessment which led to the excellent adjustments and improvement in various parts of my body/system experience. There was a beautiful logic to the treatment. Tim was sensitive. He checked in with me throughout and slowed down/stopped when I needed time to integrate what he had done. Fantastic experience: My life changed 3 years ago with a diagnosis of lupus but Dr. Heath changed it again from the very first interview with him. I’ve been seeing him for four months and I can’t recommend him enough. I had several specialist before finding him and I can confidently say no one has made this much progress with my condition. His approach is realistic but enthusiastic and he gives you a clear explanation of your condition and his plan to treat it, with plenty of information that make you feel like you’re actually part of the process (plus, he keeps detailed record of every step on file). He’s tried something new at many of the appointments and every single thing has provided me with some level of relief or improvement. With my condition every little thing counts! Him and his staff are kind and compassionate (his receptionist Hope gives some great advice and always makes you feel welcome as soon as you walk in) I don’t even mind the commute from Richmond, Oakland or Berkeley to see him every week. It’s time and travel well worth it. Every technique, supplement or device he’s used or recommended has medical basis and I can say that after years of desperately trying I’m finally seeing and feeling progress in alleviating my pain and working on my recovery. I feel like I’m getting my life back. Even if you’re just thinking about it, go to the interview! See it and feel it for yourself!

Positive experience: It was a fun experience with a few issues, and while my knee and back are a bit better, the thing i didn't like is that it was a bit too pricey to do the 4 month plan. It is around 2,900 dollars, and i feel like the 15 minute per week sessions could've gone longer. I didn't get the full details about what the procedure consisted of until i got the plan, I ended up doing it because the tests showed that my back was really bad, but i would've went with the 1 or 2 month plan instead if it was more obvious to me what all the options were. However the prices were only on one sheet of paper and dr tim already looked convinced that i was doing the 4 month plan as he already started to circle everything. I felt heavily pressured to do the 4 month plan because that was what Tim was telling me to do without really mentioning any of the other plans when he was giving me his analysis of the consultation. In addition, i had a huge gripe with dr. Tim's insistence that i needed a vitamin supplement, (a supplement over 200 dollars mind you). It wasn't just the money, it was how dr. Tim presented it. He would tell me what i would need (has recommended me a detox plan, vitamin supplements, an allergy test, and a vitamin test all for my knuckles whoch happened to turn white at the touch, which dr. Tim was fixated on), make a 10 minute lecture on it and make it seem like a really good idea, and when i agreed (because i assumed it came with the program), then he would take me to his assistant Chyann who would then finally tell me the price, which changed my mind immediately because i already paid the 2,900 for the program, i don't want to spend a whole bunch extra. I wish that dr. Tim told me what the prices were before taking me to his assistant so i didn't feel like i wasted their time when they were excitedly getting the materials ready just to have me say no, i don't want to dissapoint them. Overall, it's a good program, but much too pricey.

Fantastic experience: As a nurse, I was stressed out and burned out from having to work demanding 12-hour shifts, as well as, dealing with the stress of commute traffic. I suffered from fatigue, lack of focus, insomnia, hair loss, brittle nails and weight gain. On my own, I was experimenting with different nutritional supplements and attempting to treat the unknown culprit that was robbing me of my health. Meanwhile my primary MD would only order the bare minimum lab testing which left me feeling frustrated with traditional medicine. Finally fed up with living with brain fog and exhaustion I went in search of Naturopathic medicine for help. My initial intake appointments with Optimized Wellness were great but then I became skeptical due to changes in the clinical staff involved in my care. My concerns were unfounded because Dr. Tim is very knowledgeable in functional medicine and has been very thorough in creating a personalized care plan based on my health history and the extensive clinical lab results. He’s passionate about helping his patients achieve optimal health and I trust him as my clinician. That was in August and now 6 months later … it’s like someone turned the lights on. I’ve modified my diet, completed two rounds of detox treatments and ionic foot baths along with adding supplements to correct nutritional deficiencies and control my glucose levels. I feel reenergized and focused. I’m sleeping better and beginning to finally lose weight. I know that I’m on the right track to regaining my life and vitality back. Positive experience: I saw Dr. Heath for 4 months. Although he was unable to resolve a complicated back injury, he made several concrete suggestions about ways to improve my overall health which I found very valuable. My pain was so severe that I was on pain and anti inflammatory meds (Vicodin, Ibuprofen). I was treated by other Chiropractors and I they did not take the time to get to know why I was hurting. I would just get a quick regular adjustment and they would send me on my way. Tim took time to get to know me, for example: he walked with me outside to see how I was walking, he wanted to see how I sat in a chair and wanted to know how I set my chair at home and he also gave me bed recommendations; all of his recommendations were extremely helpful. I think Tim's personal approach helped me get over any doubts I had about treatment. I think its natural to apprehension and questions when dealing with new information regarding health and wellness. Before Tim introduces something he thinks may be helpful he always educates you on the subject. Even when he does minor adjustments he always asks for permission and explains what and why he is doing during the treatment session. I felt at ease during my fist treatment. The office doesn't feel clinical. Its very open and has a welcoming vibe. The front office staff was very friendly and seemed genuinely interested in how I was feeling. I also liked the upbeat music that was playing. Additionally, I loved the fact that they don't leave me waiting. A 12:00 appointment really means a 12:00 appointment!!! After my first treatment I felt an overall reduction of pain in my lower back. Tim called and checked up on me after my treatment which I thought was very professional. After roughly 90 days I was able to start decreasing my meds and after about a year I was completely off meds. Tim encouraged me to do exercises and stretches on my own. After about a year I was pain free and healed. I still see Tim quarterly for adjustments but its just for maintenance because I no longer require adjustments for pain reduction. I would totally recommend Optimized Wellness Center for anyone looking to truly heal and learn to heal themselves. I was a in debilitating pain and Optimized Wellness Center helped me get back on my feet.

Fantastic experience: I am very excited that I took the opportunity to collaborate with both Dr. Nina and Dr. Tim. I had neck surgery for a herniated disk and fusion in the late 1990s. Since then I have had persistent chronic neck pain. Not sharp, usually the nagging, stiff type of pain. I had grown used to always having some sort of pain. Today, after a few weeks of therapy from Dr. Tim I am pain free. I can hardly believe it, after so many years. He is gentle, explains everything he does and why.
