Fantastic experience: A lot of chiropractors kind of do what medical doctors do: treat symptoms but don't really fix the underlying cause. But not Dr Firnhaber, as a functional medicine practitioner, he evaluates all aspects of your health and advises you on a game plan to restore optimal health.

Positive experience: I recommend Dr Firnhaber’s low force chiropractic care to all of my clients. There is no cracking and popping in his method of treatment so it is safe and less invasive but very thorough and meets the bodies need for complete neoropathway adjustment. My right leg has had numerous surgeries from torn cartilage to broken Tibia & Fibula. Over the past 2-3 yrs I've found weakness in that leg has become more profound. Fantastic experience: Dr. Firnhaber has helped our family in a really big way. When we started, I had been extremely ill with autoimmune issues, including adrenal fatigue, sleep problems, tummy dysfunction, severe hormonal imbalance, joint pain, extreme light-headedness/ brain fog and weakness. Really, I was almost completely bedridden and couldn't function at all. Our kids had more minor issues along the lines of food intolerance/ brain function but all of us have greatly benefited and have been able to heal from what I thought was impossible. Fantastic experience: If you are having trouble getting anyone to listen to you, go see Dr. Firnhaber. He will listen. He will help you. Recently I had my medical doctor tell me that my thyroid antibodies continue to go up. She thought the only solution was to have surgery on my thyroid! That is the worst thing you can do. My medical doctor is still using methods to handle thyroid problems from 40 years ago! I tried her method and her drugs for a year and still felt terrible. Still gained weight. Still wasn't sleeping. Dr. Firnhaber had me take an allergy test and discovered I was allergic to all dairy. After stopping dairy, my thyroid antibodies are coming down. Also, the Synthroid my medical doctor had me on my body did not want--made me weak. I was switched to all natural Armour--because of Dr. Firnhaber's recommendation. He is the only one who actually wants to get to the root of what is wrong instead of masking it. He has helped me more in the last 12 years than any medical doctor. I started driving down from Omaha to see Dr. Firnhaber over 12 years ago. At that time, he was the only health care professional who had any idea how to treat my celiac disease. His approach is not only caring but methodical. He told me from the start that this might take time as I did not get in this state overnight. But he is the only one who helped heal my leaky gut, control hot flashes, sleep better, in addition to the alignment issues. I enjoy attending his weekly health talks at his office and also listening to his Health talk show on KZUM (89.3) on Saturday mornings at 9:00 a.m. regarding subjects related to our health. He provides valuable information regarding a myriad of health topics. I first became a patient of Dr. Firnhaber nearly 6 months ago as a result of intermittent migraine headaches that have occurred as a result of misalignment of my neck vertebrae. He made the necessary adjustments to my spine and I've been feeling better ever since. What I appreciate most Dr. Firnhaber is his thoroughness to address the root cause of what is making us sick (i.e. holistic health care - see explanation below) "Triad of Health: Wellness care means treating the whole person. There are three major areas that have to be addressed when treating the whole person: Structure, chemical and mental (or spiritual). This is holistic health care. You don’t treat a headache; you treat the person who has the headaches and all aspects of his or her health. A person suffering from headaches may have a structural problem—vertebrae in the neck can out of place (subluxations) can create nerve irritation and headache pain. The headache may have a chemical component, nutrient deficiency, allergy and low blood sugar can all cause headaches. Your mental state, stress and worry for example, can also be a cause a headache. In any chronic condition, it is wise to treat the whole person and all three aspects of health, structural, chemical and mental."

Fantastic experience: Dr. Firnhaber and his staff have been such a blessing in my family's life. We started seeing him nearly 3 years ago. We initially came in with our then, 11 month old son, who had severe food allergies. We had been to several specialists, allergist, GI doc, pediatrician and we had seen one other chiropractor, but no one could help us. Dr. Firnhaber cured his chronic constipation in our very first visit. Through muscle testing, laser therapy and chiropractic adjustments he was able to help us identify the root issues with our son. Our son is now 3 years later and is a growing, healthy boy that asks to go to Dr. "Habers." Our oldest daughter struggled with chronic ear and sinus infections. She had stopped growing despite our every effort to help her gain weight and grow. Within 1 visit Dr. Firnhaber identified she was allergic to gluten and dairy products. By eliminating these foods and Dr. Firnhaber's care we were able to avoid a third round of tubes and a tonsillectomy. She no longer has any ear or sinus issues and after 3 years of little to no growth, she gained 5 pounds in 10 months! He has helped our family with so many issues from chronic back and neck pain headaches, weakened immune systems, post chemo and radiation therapy, food allergies, bed wetting, vision, thyroid problems, GI issues, anxiety, adrenal function and the list goes on. Prior to finding Dr. Firnhaber our family was constantly sick. Now that he has been treating us, we are rarely sick, when we are the severity and length our illnesses last has been dramatically decreased and we have avoided needing antibiotics for the last 3 years. Fantastic experience: Dr. Paul has been such a HUGE blessing to my life! I had a nasty fall when I was 12 years old. I have been going to chiropractors for years in order to address the chronic headaches, shoulder and neck pain that I have had. No solutions found until I came to Lincoln Disc and Nutrition. Dr. Paul found the problem right away and got me on the road to recovery. Do you know what two of my main problems were? Ingesting wheat and milk products. After attending his health care talks I learned that these can cause inflammation which can lead to misalignment. So, not only did I receive some much needed spinal adjustments that other chiropractors did not locate, I also incorporated his advice regarding what I eat. I am glad he knows how to do muscle testing so he could check to see if I was gluten and lactose intolerant. A simple check at his office with some gluten (bread or crackers) and a small container of milk (which I brought from home) quickly and efficiently confirmed my suspicions. Because of Dr. Paul's knowledge and expertise I did not have to go through an expensive and painful medical test. Yes, muscle testing may see odd, but stay open minded. He knows what he is doing and is so wise. I have never felt uncomfortable during an exam. He is a godly man, a good friend and I know that I can trust him. Right now he is working hard doing all he can to help our special needs son who struggles with behavior and academic problems. Dr. Paul has been able to help Grant as well. I am so thankful to say goodbye to chronic pain and migraines after over 40 years of struggle, plus see improvements in our son's day-to-day behavior. Give Dr. Paul a chance. Yes, his initial exam does cost some money, but it is o.k. I would rather pay $200 once, getting to the root of the problem, than continue to pay thousands of dollars on supplements, pain killers and chiropractic visits which do not help. Yay!
