Fantastic experience: The quality of their compounded prescriptions is remarkable. I was stuck out of town without my Rx and my only solution was to use a local pharmacy and I could definitely tell the difference. I threw away that Rx as soon as I got back home to my Austin Compounding product.

Negative experience: They raised the price on one med so I stopped getting it here. Also wanted to charge me more than my copay on another prescription because "we need to make money too" I've chosen to take my business elsewhere. Edit: They raised my prescription price after only filing it one time. Not informed till checking out. Back to other pharmacy where it's been and still is the same price for two years

Positive experience: I get compounded meds here. They're always very nice. Joseph in particular is very helpful as one of the Pharmacists there. It's a smaller pharmacy so try to plan in advance; it may take a couple days to get your meds. But compounding is time intensive.

Fantastic experience: I had a doctor send a prescription here and it hadn't been sent across yet but a guy named Joseph and another guy that were there kept checking on me and the status of the prescription while I was waiting. Fantastic experience: Let me start by saying I love this pharmacy! There’s never a hassle, no trouble, and a beautiful shop. The staff is beyond accommodating. I have been getting my prescription for ketamine from them for a few years now, and I am only sorry I didn’t write this sooner. Joseph usually helps me with my prescriptions. He has a calm and kind demeanor. I appreciate it beyond words. A few years ago, I stressed about being prescribed ketamine, and then I stressed about finding a pharmacy. I stumbled across Austin Compounding Pharmacy, and they answered my questions. I haven’t looked back. You aren’t just a number here; this pharmacy knows you, and they really want to help. Fantastic experience: Always a pleasure to get my prescriptions filled from the friendly and extremely accommodating staff at the Austin Compounding Pharmacy.

Negative experience: Unprofessional. I’ve called several times over the past 6 months to refill an RX. They take my info and tell me that they will refill my RX. I call back several days later and my RX is not filled and no one remembers that I called. Even if I call a week before my RX is due for a refill, it’s still not ready and I end up running out of medication. Save yourself the headache and find a different compounding pharmacy.

Fantastic experience: Rudy and his staff always go out of their way to make me feel like I’m their only customer. Recently, I was going out of the country for 10 days and needed 3 expired refills . A week before my departure i contacted Austin Compounding and they immediately (I mean while I was in the phone) faxed to my Dr office the request. I was told to check back in a couple of days and make sure they had received the refills request. I followed up and they had not received them. Call my Dr office and was told they were sent etc. We went back and forth finally two out of the three refills were approved. A day later AC finally received the third refill approval. Now, I don’t live in Austin and always have my prescriptions delivered. The two prescriptions that had be approved were out for delivery and too late to add my third. This particular scrip was not compounded and could go through a mainstream pharmacy. Rudy call a local retail pharmacy and found out that they had my med in stock. He transferred the prescription to this pharmacy and i picked it up within two hours. I cannot say enough about this amazing staff. Top customer service and very knowledgeable.

Positive experience: Usually I receive good service and good quality meds from ACP, but when I called to question them about conflicting info, I was cut off by Rudy and not allowed to finish my sentences. Then when I wanted to add more delivery instructions so I wouldn’t miss a delivery, he cut me off mid sentence and hung up on me. Usually he is nice and helpful, so maybe he was just busy, but I REALLY hate to be hung up on!

Negative experience: Horrible customer service The younger guy in particular was so obnoxious I don't even blame him. His parents obviously failed him. If talking to insurance companies is so complicated maybe you should try a different career. I recommend one that has zero interaction with human beings. I'm sorry that my daughters seizure medicine " is a lot of work and we only make a few dollars from it"

Fantastic experience: I came to this pharmacy under the recommendation of my new psychiatrist, Kellie Sue at Austin Family Mental Health. She was referred to me by a friend who'd just come back from the pharmacy and had two really enlightened products in tow. One was Stamet's 7, a blend of 7 medicinal mushrooms and a ketamine prescription. I went to speak to the owner Tom about what it would take to pass screening for my medicinal mushroom products and dopamine gut microbiome formula. He was super thorough. Then I asked for myself about what he recommended for constipation as I am 7 months pregnant and way struggling. My OBGYN had recommended Colase, which did nothing even after taking 12 of them. Tom said Aloe Leaf. I got 2 affordable boxes and am SO glad i did. The aloe leaf capsules, in conjunction w two Super Colon Cleanse capsules recommended by Amazon Plus a serving of homemade 15 bean soup have just saved my life. If you study botany, herbalism or holistic medicine, like i do, all these ingredients make a lot more sense than a gel capsule. Not even magnesium citrate would work for me. I swear i lost 4 pounds in the past 3 days. But more importantly was the quality ingredients they carry for mental health. When u set foot in the store, any trained neurobiology mental health professional would be excited. I would trust this pharmacy w any of my Alzheimer's or dementia patients. If you, or someone you love, is suffering with gut issues, PTSD, brain fog, or even cancer, this pharmacy might just be your life savor! Oh, and there also wasn't a bunch of stupid vaccine pushing corrupt racket bs like at CVS or shelves full of candy and soda pop. I knew I was in the right place.

Fantastic experience: This is a 5 star pharmacy. The 3.9 overall rating is not accurate. How do I know this? Just scroll down and look at the misinformed reviewers who still think Ivermectin is only used in horses and that Ivermectin is only used as a dewormer. ‍♂️ For the record and for the people in the back who still get their medical information from CNN: Ivermectin is also a human medication. Ivermectin is used for more than just worms. Ivermectin is effective at treating Covid. Just because the FDA, CDC, NIH, and Big Pharma do not approve of Ivermectin as an effective treatment against Covid does not mean Ivermectin does not work against Covid. Those organizations only push vaccines and expensive treatments because they want more money. They don’t care about science. They don’t care about your health. They just want money. For those who actually follow the science and not the money, they know that Covid is treatable. That’s why I’m thankful for the tremendous staff at Austin Compounding - they don’t cower to the pressure and lies of main stream media, big pharma, and big tech but they actually treat illness (what a concept, right?). It will go down in history that Austin Compounding Pharmacy is one of the TRUE heroes of the medical field during this historic time. Additionally, thank you for offering fast and convenient delivery to my doorstep even though I’m in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. Also, the text message updates with accurate delivery date information was incredibly helpful. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Thank you for all you do Austin Compounding Pharmacy.

Negative experience: Worst customer service ever. My grandma who is 90 years old got COVID and it's been a week tehy haven't sent her medication. I called and the guy on the phone was horribly rude with me, because I did not tell them she was positive. Now, I don't know if I am getting my money back. Wooorse experience so far with pharmacies.

Negative experience: Dr called in order got a notice I need to pay online I did. Then called the office got an answering service girl takes my number tells me they will call back with pick up time. No call back. I call at 4 pm girl tells me something takes my number. No call no prescription. If your about to die and need your prescription don’t call this group cause your gonna die.

Negative experience: Absolute worst pharmacy ever! Surprising to see such a surly attitude in a small local business, but I guess they just don't care about customer service. Had been using them for a few years, possibly they were having a bad day. That's really no excuse for treating a customer rudely ever. Unfortunately customer service seems to have disappeared lately. It's almost understandable with big companies who underpay people. Just hard to believe that a small company like this could care so less about treating clients nicely. Very sad really.

Fantastic experience: Most friendly, warm and caring pharmacy and staff! A friend recommended this pharmacy to me after me feeling disillusioned by the big box commercial chain pharmacies. I spoke with Ben who was so professional, friendly, caring and presented me with options to meet my prescription needs. He was able to transfer my prescriptions from a previous pharmacy and have them ready for pickup within 24 hours and saved me over $175.00!!! Thank you for supporting and standing up for individuals’ rights to choose medical treatment and freedom. I will definitely be back!

Fantastic experience: Quick, efficient, courteous, kind...always answer the phone. After reading some of the other reviews here, I felt compelled to come back in and add how DEEPLY grateful we were to find this precious pharmacy which so efficiently filled our doctor-given prescription for ivermectin---an incredibly safe and effective treatment for both parasites and virus.

Negative experience: The owner of this place publicly recommends ivermectin, a horse dewormer, against medical and CDC advice. Is pharmacy school the same as medical school? I think not, but yet this "pharmacist" is an expert on treatments that have zero basis in science so far. It's incredible that he's able to keep his license. I'll certainly never go to this pharmacy again and you shouldn't either.

Fantastic experience: I had a complicated medication that required multiple steps to undertake before it could be used. Even with a thorough explanatory sheet of instructions, I missed a step along the way. Initially, I called to receive help and was warmly assisted. When I was wary of still not getting something correct, I took everything with me and went back to ask Austin Compounding for help in-person. The pharmacist could not have been more kind, gracious and informative. He stopped everything to assist me, reassured me and showed me how to do all the steps as he demonstrated them to me. I now know that my medication is perfect and feel empowered to do it myself next time. I cannot say enough about the beyond amazing customer service as well as knowledgeable pharmacists and staff at Austin Compounding. Consistently top-notch!

Fantastic experience: I am recovering from a major operation I had on my neck. The pharmacists are knowledgeable and incredibly patient. I had a lot of questions about a new oral medication I had not taken before that tastes absolutely horrid. The pharmacists were empathetic and skilled in adding flavoring. Tom gave other suggestions for improving palatability. Very caring staff. Worth the drive!

Fantastic experience: I’m new to this pharmacy, went in to pick up my ketamine nasal spray a little over a mo th who and was absolutely blown away by Tom’s wealth of knowledge and super positive, helpful personality. I asked him about a health issue I was having and he not only gave me a ton of useful information but also recommended several doctors and gave me their cards. I was able to see Dr. Freeman @ Downtown Doctor and she was amazing...the two of them saved me a ton of time, energy and money by getting me the correct treatment the first time. I’ve told at least 10 people about Tom and this pharmacy...I’m so excited that I found them! They have the best selection of true HIGH QUALITY supplements I’ve seen in a pharmacy without all the clutter of other small and/or compounding pharmacies in town. Fantastic experience: This is the ONLY custom compounding pharmacy, who offers such a diverse and vast selection of natural and pharmaceutical blends! There are very few pharmacies who can and do provide this level of service, professional but still makes the customer feel they are priority! I have yet to have a negative experience with any of the employees and Tom is by far the kindest, experienced and knowledgeable pharmacist I have met! I personally guarantee that they will meet, if not exceed, your expectations! Two thumbs up.

I get my pets' medications there as well, and they always seem to know what medication is best compounded with which cat-approved flavor. Fantastic experience: I have been a customer with Austin Compounding Pharmacy for 4 years now. The service I get from all of the employees is without compare. I live half a block away from a Walgreens and a CVS pharmacy...but i will take the 15 minute drive to Austin Compounding every single time I have a need for a pharmacy. Negative experience: Austin Compounding has removed their disabled parking claiming they are exempt from following state law. I showed up one weekday at 9:35 and they weren't open because the pharmacist on duty was running late. Please note that one of the other five star reviews is from the owner/pharmacist.
