Fantastic experience: My health provider recommended PHRC where I was under the care of Brianna Quade, PT. Los Gatos, CA. Brianna worked on a structured, progressive, physical therapy regime consisting of breathing, exercises, and mental and physical cues - based on questions she asked and rigorous attention to the answers I gave. Over 12 sessions, lasting 8 months I regained 100% bladder control. Fantastic experience: I've had an exceptional experience at the Pelvic Health and Rehabilitation Center in Los Gatos. For twelve years, my back pain had developed into a pelvic issue that disrupted my sleep every night. Thanks to Lauren's treatment, I can finally sleep normally again—it has literally changed my life. Lauren is an outstanding practitioner who has guided me through every step of my treatment, providing comprehensive in-person therapy, ongoing education about pelvic floor health, and practical at-home exercises. Fantastic experience: I was referred to Pelvic Health and Rehab by my internist last summer. The whole team there is amazing. Brittany was so helpful getting me scheduled, and even though it was a few weeks out, she called me a few times to try and get me in earlier when they had some last minute openings. Once I got in, I met with Reyna who has been without a doubt life changing for me. I was unable to run, lift weights, or carry heavy items until I started seeing Reyna. This was due to chronic foot, back issues and a pelvic floor issue. Reyna's ability to compassionately listen, as well as her incredible knowledge of anatomy and phsyiology, and her ability to give me the right amount of PT without overwhelming me, and also.... showing me how to do it, giving great instructions in the app, letting me ask questions, encouraging me to keep trying, acknowledging my progress... all have given me back my ability to go on runs, exercise how I want. She has supported me through every step of this experience by providing me with a sustainable treatment plan including ongoing education around my pelvic floor, comprehensive in person PT, and accessible at home practices. Fantastic experience: I got referred to PHRC by my urologist due to persistent lower abdominal pain. This was after multiple visits to my primary doctor and urologist, as well as a lot of different procedures and inconclusive imaging. I got my treatment with Reyna. Since our first session, I noticed how she was very kind and able to explain all my symptoms and their relation to pelvic floor dysfunction. She also recommended some changes related to my diet and mindfulness in general. I also love that she always has an excellent topic to talk about and doesn't make the process too silent. I like that the therapy has multiple aspects: the physical part through direct treatment and psychological factors where stress, anxiety, or other things can affect the pelvic floor. I've experienced relief from my symptoms through this therapy. I'm no longer in discomfort and pain for multiple days (as I had before). I occasionally get a flare-up, but I can control those now with breathing techniques and meditation. Thank you so much, Reyna and the staff at PHRC, for helping me and putting me on the journey of full recovery.

Fantastic experience: I am a former Olympic rower and the treatment from Lauren VanCitters has literally been life-changing. I have extremely old and complex injuries from my racing days - the nuances of the sport left my body essentially lopsided. After years and years of frustrating misdiagnosis and gradually increasing chronic pain, I landed with Lauren who patiently looked for the root of the issues and worked thru them with me. I had more or less lost hope that I was going to feel normal again after all of my unsuccessful attempts at rehab, and I was very thankful for the mindful attention I got from Lauren. She was even patient enough to read weekly updates I sent ahead of our sessions so she was prepared to make the most of our time together! 5 stars doesn't really do justice... Thanks again!

Fantastic experience: After having my second baby, I was experiencing some of the more common physical postpartum issues (pelvic floor, core issues, hip pain) and I was referred to PHRC. My therapist, Jennifer, was wonderful to work with. She was professional, knowledgeable, and very understanding. Her physical therapy assignments were easy to follow and my issues were greatly improved just after a few sessions. I'd highly recommend Jennifer and the PHRC to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Tiffany was such a huge help! I came in a couple of months postpartum feeling generally weak in my core and pelvic floor, and after seeing my midwife and a urologist about UTI-like pain with consistent negative UTI tests. Tiffany was able to address all of these issues with her in-office treatments and exercise homework that was easy to fit into my new postpartum life. She was super understanding, empathetic, and wonderful to work with. I would highly recommend her to anyone postpartum or anyone experiencing pelvic floor problems!!

Fantastic experience: I had really bad pelvic pain postpartum and it was not getting better. I couldn't stand/walk for more than a few minutes, which makes life with a newborn very challenging. My OB wasn't able to help, and working with another pelvic floor PT wasn't working either. I was quite desperate when I started seeing Tiffany Yuen about a month and a half ago. I am so grateful that I was able to get her help. She is very patient, skilled, and knowledgeable, and was able to find the problem right away and started treatment. She helped me relaxing my pelvic floor muscles and the muscles & connective tissues around it. I feel so much better now and I am able to resume most of my day to day activity with only minor pain. I'll continue working with Tiffany and I'm sure I'll get even better. I highly recommend Tiffany to anybody who has pelvic floor issues.

Fantastic experience: I started getting treated by Tiffany Yuen about a month and half ago while traveling from quite some distance away. I was continually impressed with Tiffany's patience, skill, knowledge, and care throughout the many sessions I had with her. Tiffany's commitment to my case was evident in the sessions and follow up exercises and instructions she communicated. She always made herself available to answer all my questions or concerns about the treatment. I came to the clinic with years of chronic pain issues in the sit bones, pelvic, and lower back areas that I was unable to successfully treat elsewhere. In a relatively short amount of time, my symptoms have already moderately improved and I am no longer feeling the same levels of pain. I am also now equipped with the skills, tools, and knowledge to help self-treat my issues on my own once I get back to my home area. I would definitely recommend treatment at this clinic with Tiffany.

After several visits, which included internal and external therapies, as well as incorporating daily routines of stretching at home and mental relaxation exercises from smart phone applications that she suggested, I have noticed mild but steady improvements in my pain levels allowing me to focus more on my life activities rather than my pain. Tiffany is a very positive, skilled and attentive therapist who takes meticulous post-therapy session notes and sends follow- up suggestions to me which shows her personal interest in our recovery stories. Fantastic experience: I was referred by my urologist to PHRC for some pelvic health issues I'd been experiencing. I've been working with Jennifer Guan for a few months and she has been fantastic! She is very professional, provides great advice, and is a great listener. You can tell she is dedicated to all her patients. She is also constantly working staying up to date on the latest research in her field. The rest of the office staff are also really nice people and the office itself is set up to be a relaxing and calm environment. I highly recommend PHRC and Jennifer specifically for your pelvic health needs.

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Tiffany for some postpartum and c-section issues. I haven't had severe issues, and I'm still early in my therapy journey, but Tiffany has been great at addressing each issue and I have been making progress in all areas. Her communication is great and she is very sensitive to making sure I am comfortable throughout the appointment. I highly recommend Tiffany and PHRC for pelvic floor therapy and postpartum care.

Fantastic experience: I came to see Tiffany with severe bladder leakage and pelvic floor muscle weakness after surgical prostate removal. During several visits Tiffany developed an incremental exercise program, and doing in-office pelvic floor massages. After following the program, I noticed a definite improvement in muscle strength, as confirmed by Tiffany and by the surgeon. Also the leakage has decreased over time, and bladder control has improved. Tiffany has been very gentle, friendly, and accommodating. I am grateful for the support she has provided.

Fantastic experience: I started working with Tiffany Yuen a few months ago for symptoms related to a condition which necessitated learning to develop skills to relax my pelvic floor muscles. Tiffany is an amazing practitioner. She is very patient and has excellent communication skills (and a great memory too). Working with Jennifer was the best part of my pregnancy - she helped with pelvic floor pain but also had a ton of guidance for labor and the assorted other discomforts of pregnancy. I successfully delivered without medication and now continue to get help in recovery and am SO grateful to have access to this place. Fantastic experience: I was referred to see Tiffany about some chronic pain I've had for many years. I would have daily pain in various lower parts of my body so much that I would have trouble trouble walking or just performing daily activities. Since going to Tiffany I've learned that as a result of my chronic pain my body has adjusted it self to try to deal with my symptoms causing me to have pain in various regions. Tiffany was considered my last resort before undergoing surgery and I'm very glad my doctor referred me to her because every session I have had with Tiffany has improved my symptoms overall. She always makes sure that the massages and stretchs we are doing are not making things worse and she always follows up with at home care/ suggestion on how to further improve symptoms. She also utilizes tools and creams to make sure that each session is not making me uncomfortable while addressing the issue I am having. Even though I am still having pain it is not as bad as it was when I first started and she is undoing years of pain adaptation that hindered me from enjoying life. She has been amazing throughout this whole process and I highly reccomend her and her staff to anyone because I can guarantee that they will help you just like they have helped me.

Fantastic experience: I struggled with pelvic floor pain after significantly increasing my cycling training during the beginning of the pandemic. After nearly a year of visiting various doctors for prostatitis and finding little success on my own, I came across PHRC and booked an appointment with Tiffany Yuen. Before my first visit, I felt demoralized, embarrassed, and skeptical I would ever be normal again— a year is a long time. The first session is a consultation that consists of your background, symptoms, recovery goals, and a physical exam. Afterward, your therapist will talk to you about the treatment plan, educate you on the pelvic floor, and provide you with some take-home materials. Tiffany confidently assured me that this illness was not my fault and its possible to make a full recovery; that moment was the beginning of my rehabilitation journey. I walked away from that first appointment with a renewed sense of hope and the fortitude to make a complete recovery. Despite still being on that journey and having some lingering symptoms, they're now manageable on the worst days, and I feel normal again on the best days. My treatment consists of stretching and strengthening exercises, trigger point releases, and nerve glides. Depending on feedback, Tiffany provides a plethora of alternatives that may be more (or less) aggressive. If I have any questions about an exercise or treatment, she's incredibly responsive via email. What is most impressive about Tiffany is her combination of tenacity, perceptiveness, and knowledge to create a highly individualized treatment plan. I've had a few PTs for various injuries throughout my life, but Tiffany stands out among the very best. To anybody struggling with pelvic pain, I urge you to make an appointment at PHRC. The entire staff is fantastic and there to help you on your recovery journey. I can't speak highly enough about Tiffany and the team.

Fantastic experience: A decade after my kids were born (!!!) I found out I had diastasis recti which my doctor confused for hernia. I came into PHRC and met with Tiffany and she put all my doubts to rest. She confirmed it was doming from diastasis and from then I have seen so much progress with everything : my posture and back pain have significantly reduced. The doming has reduced too. Fantastic experience: I found about PHRC on Instagram and really felt inspired by their posts. I could see they genuinely care about their patients and want to help as many people as possible with information and or treatments. Tiffany Yuen is my physical therapist; she is fantastic! Since the beginning, she made me feel welcome, safe and I can see she is very knowledgeable. Having pelvic pain is such a vulnerable condition, but she never made me feel uncomfortable at all. We have good conversations in our sessions, and I am happy I found her. Anyone with pelvic pain knows how important it is to find capable and caring professionals. Fantastic experience: Before coming here, I was frustrated with countless doctors visits I was going to try to figure out why I was feeling pain/discomfort in my abdomen. I couldn't move much or walk around for very long. I was mostly bedridden for weeks, everyday just hoping I felt better in the morning. They sent me to urologist thinking it might be a kidney stones or a hernia. It turned out I had a pulled muscle for months. After meeting with my PT (Jennifer Guan) I knew I was finally somewhere that would help my life go back to normal. My PT was great at providing me details on how my muscles are working and why I felt this strain. After just a few sessions I really felt improvement. I've been going in just a few weeks and doing the stretches and exercises my help a lot. Happy to be walking again!

Fantastic experience: I originally saw an Urologist for pelvic discomfort and antibiotics were prescribed which didn't help. After some research, I found the PHRC website and watched all of the videos and read the articles that were available which were very helpful and informative. A number of the videos had covered my discomfort issue. I made an appointment with Tiffany who is an amazing and very knowledgeable Pelvic Therapist. She is very caring, is a great listener, and will explain the procedure step by step. Tiffany will gear your treatment and exercises to fit your normal activities and will make suggestion and modifications on things to help with your recovery. The session will always start will a discussion on your progress and any issues that you might have had so they can be addressed during the session. You will also receive a follow up email after each session to cover what was discussed and with the recommended exercises which will include how-to pix or videos. Also, Tiffany will respond to any email questions the same day! I highly recommend PHRC and Tiffany Yuen.

Fantastic experience: I would like to give my thanks to Dr. Tiffany Yuen at PHRC who has helped me with my pudendal nerve pain a great deal. Her ability to closely interface with patients at a level not reached by most doctors is remarkable. By closely monitoring the patient feedback and evaluating it, she is able to accurately diagnose difficult problems at a high level. Fantastic experience: I have suffered for 3 years with Pudendal Neuralgia. Initially, I had been mis-diagnosed by an orthopedic specialist and had the entirely wrong physical therapy which only worsened the condition. I thought I would never have any remission of the tremendous, constant pain. Neurologic pain is the worst! It is an obscure condition in that my Ob/Gyn did not know much about it when I recently discussed it with them. They did know to refer me to Pelvic Health and Rehabilitation Center though. What a relief!!! I have seen DR. TIFFANY YUEN for my rehabilitation. She is the perfect combination of intelligence, experience, knowledge, compassion, kindness, and calm. I thought it would be difficult to discuss my problem, but Tiffany put me right at ease. Even after the very first visit, I began to feel less painful. A couple of weeks later, I could walk WITHOUT PAIN!!! It was like a miracle!!!! After a short course of therapy, I am now comfortable and pain-free at all times--I can hardly believe it!!! I am so very thankful to have been referred to the Pelvic Health and Rehabilitation Center and to have seen Tiffany as my therapist. Fantastic experience: After months of agonizing pain I started to feel a little better meaning I went from 9+ to 6+ but couldn’t get below that. My surgeons were puzzled and didn’t know what else to do to help me so they recommended PHRC. Tiffany was amazing. She made me feel very comfortable during these sessions that can be difficult. I only used 11 of the 12 sessions because the pain was gone. She made a huge difference in my life. It’s been months since I finished the therapy and I’m still doing great. Fantastic experience: I struggled with chronic pelvic pain for six years before I learned about PHRC. I felt very much helpless and had been to dozens of doctors who minimized my pain and had no treatment advice. By the time I learned of PHRC, I was skeptical that they would be able to help, and honestly fearful of the experience and being let down by another unsuccessful attempt to heal. It took a lot of courage for me to call and set up an appointment, but I am so grateful to Malinda for her work. She is incredibly capable and easy to talk to. She held out faith in my body to heal when I had almost none. She was open to working with other health care practitioners, and offered at-home practices, breath work and stretches that were easy to add to my routine and gave me agency over my healing. It took months of regular appointments, but I am now completely pain free. I would recommend this center to anyone struggling with their pelvic health. It's healthcare at its finest.

Fantastic experience: I visited this clinic postpartum to have an evaluation, receive tips, and discuss preparing for another pregnancy. The provider was fabulous and provided a wealth of information. I was definitely pleased with my visit. She was compassionate and had great bedside manner. I felt comfortable discussing my concerns. I would recommend this office to anyone, especially those postpartum. She even provided referrals for other providers being that I had just moved to the area. All of the staff I spoke with or encountered was professional and kind.

Fantastic experience: My 85-year mother(Irene) was a patient HERE May 2017 after Leaving Good Sam!! And Received Very Very good care!! All the staff was Very, Very Compassionate, & Professional At the time Great Social Worker, Great Therapist All the staff RN's, CNAs, & Housekeepers!! So Clean And all the Doctors Great, CARE each shift Staff introduced them self, Explained all meds that were being given and Reasons.. This is A 5-star Rehab Center.. It’s so important that those who are considering pelvic physical therapy/rehab to take the step forward and do so. Mothers, mother-to-be’s, survivors of sexual abuse/assault, women who’ve had miscarriages, gymnasts, horseback riders, and anyone in need is a perfect candidate! There is no “one” type of person that this kind of intricate care could help. It’s amazing. Get there a little early so you have time to find the building and walk up the stairs.
