Negative experience: I’m leaving a review because I was supposed to have an appointment today. Didn’t get the email so didn’t know it was going to be a zoom meeting and the counselor Joan was rude about me wanting to reschedule because I’d rather do it in person but I didn’t get the choice to do it on zoom or in person. She said she’d be out of town until the 26th so I said “ok can I just reschedule with someone else then?” And she said “fine yea call the front desk goodbye” like wow very unprofessional. The way she talked was very rude, I won’t be coming to this Noah anymore.

Negative experience: My son has had nothing but problems with this place. The his councilor changes every other month. And the "doctor" he puts my son on meds and requires a appointment to get them refilled and then calls the day of the appointment and cancels but doesn't call in a refill and this happens every other month. It's almost like they are trying to see if they can put my son in the hospital.

Positive experience: I am giving 3 stars because my doctor is amazing and the staff are very friendly, but the counselors are another story. I had an appointment today with Rose Tapia for an assessment at 7 AM, but she didn't send the link for the Zoom meeting until 7:15. This was the first appointment of the day, and she couldn't be bothered to be on time, which is unacceptable! Then, she had the nerve to call and leave a voicemail at 7:56, saying I didn’t show up and that I needed to reschedule. I was there; it was she who didn’t send the link on time. In fact, she sent a link yesterday at 7:59 AM when I wasn't even scheduled with her for that day. It makes me wonder if the person she was supposed to see yesterday at 8 AM had the same problem. News flash: if someone is requesting counseling, it usually means they are overwhelmed or have a lot going on in their lives. Not prioritizing your patients is a serious issue, especially during an intake appointment. This gives the patient a clear idea of what to expect moving forward with this provider, and honestly, No thank you!

Fantastic experience: I was really struggling with anxiety and depression and Noah really came to my rescue. I love my visits w Shockie. Her voice is so soothing and she is so informative and shares great resources with me every week. She lives to read and is always sharing books I should check out or things she read! Negative experience: The two stars is simply because my Nurse Practitioner and medical assistant are nice and in person, made me feel comfortable when I normally have white coat syndrome. However, I have been trying to get a referral to have a new sleep study done since it's been 5 years since am updated machine that I can tell no longer works accurately. The first referral was to a place that doesn't take my insurance (not the first time). I have messaged several times to no avail asking for a new referral. Sometimes I get no response whatsoever and then I have to go into the office in person as this company doesn't allow you to call directly. The message company is also bad at communication which is crazy because that's literally what they do. I have been back to this doctors office in person asking for correction and help five times and they keep sending the same referral to the same company that doesn't take my insurance. I asked for a copy of the referral last time, and the referral still said the same companies name. I had to make an appointment just to correct a flaw that could have been done without a whole appointment. Communication here is horrible and I'm afraid I have to find another doctor because of this issue. I have thyroid issues and need someone that will be able to communicate with me effectively. I don't recommend coming here if you have real issues that need addressed. They are absent to needs of there patients.

Negative experience: I needed paperwork completed for a work accommodation. My NP sent me an email saying to try these ridiculous quick sites, because she wouldn’t complete the paperwork for my accommodation because it included an animal. I asked follow up questions, then she had someone (not her) relay a message via the portal that she wouldn’t complete any paperwork for an animal and that I should find a new pcp then turned off replies. How insane is that! A doctor is supposed to make sure you have a decent quality of life, but not this NP. Mind you, the paperwork wasn’t for an animal at all it was asking for information on my condition that only she could complete as my treating physician. I find it ironic that she is treating my MH but also triggering me at the same time. My twin’s pediatrician at a different NOAH location is amazing, but this experience at copperwood was down right disappointing and lacked professionalism. I would NOT recommend this location or their NPs to anyone who requires bed side manners and reasonableness from their providers. I immediately removed her as my pcp and began the process of moving to a new clinic. It’s unfortunate because my twins are turning 18 in a few months. I won’t let them stay with NOAH, so they didn’t just lose one but three patients with private insurance.

Negative experience: The Nurse in the Lab.. Named Bee Calvin.. purposely inserted the needle for blood draw and held the needle up pulling my skin to inflict pain. After I I formed her that she was hurting me she responded with “well, it’s supposed to hurt a little bit isn’t it”? I would not recommend visiting this location.. I’ve been a patient of NOAH for almost 5 years and have never had someone draw blood in this manner. I will definitely not be coming back to this location.

Negative experience: NOAH stopped taking my insurance. The informed me the day before my appointment leaving me no choice but to pay in cash. I was told my cash pay would be $167 dollars which is outrageous. I was told I could apply for assistance and they said they would send a message to have someone call me. No response. I emailed several times and called the billing/assistance line. No response. It has been almost 2 months and still no one has contacted me. My provider was wonderful, but NOAH has made it impossible for me to see her.

Negative experience: They have neglected to send referalls for me over and over and over again. Ive waited months for treatment, unable to eat properly because of their lack of care and communication. Ive called several times about the same referalls they continue to neglect and i keep getting told the same thing, "let me send this to the supervisor". I do NOT recommend this clinic.

Negative experience: I’ve been calling three times to speak with the billing department and left voice messages and nothing. Last week on Monday I went for blood tests and it was closed not even a sign or anything. In the front door it says open Monday thru Friday. The service is not the same anymore.

Negative experience: I leave one bad doctor's office to another. I don’t understand when a patient becomes important anymore. I pay for the services but surely don’t get the proper care. On 6/3/2024 I had an appointment at NOAH COPPERWOOD and don’t get me wrong the nurse practitioner was great. The medical assistant and the woman that took my blood.. I have been calling this doctors office for a few weeks just to get my blood work results and I’m out of patients. I’ve left several messages and no one has responded yet. There is no need for them to return my phone call now because I have moved forward and found me hopefully a doctors office can actually put their patients first. I have never been so disgusted in my life. My health never was important to this office. They just lift up the carpet and sweep you underneath with the rest of the trash. I work in the medical field, so I know how important my customer service needs to be from my clients and their family without them, I don’t have a job.

Fantastic experience: I recently seen nurse practitioner Sheila Doyle. She didn't rush our appointment, listened to me, and took care of my health needs based on her findings. Very nice and professional. I seen her because my other health professional is leaving there soon, if not already. I can't remember his departure date. Negative experience: This is the worst drs office you can possibly decide to go to in the whole state of AZ . If you come early to your appointment you still won’t be seen untill way after appointment time . People walk in late and get seen right away but because you are early you still won’t be seen untill way after your time .. They lie about sending referrals for you for your health and have no care in the world , waited 6 months for a ENT referral just for it to never have been sent . On top of all that for over 2 years I’ve been on a wait list for pp depression therapy after I gave birth . Yes over 2 years still on a wait list . They also refused to provide me Quality improvement contact information to make a complaint . After today I’ll happily find a new provider as I waited over 1 hour to be put into a room for them to tell me the dr is running 1 hour behind , then waited another 20 minutes and had to just get up and leave because I had to pick up my kids from school , I never got seen !

Negative experience: Noah Health in general has been pretty awesome however Dr Daniel Davis team for scheduling is literally the worst scheduling Department I've ever dealt with for any medical Department and that's saying a lot. Their customer service especially with the gentleman named Joe who does scheduling is the most unprofessional that ever had to deal with I had an appointment scheduled for February 19th as a new patient dealing with obviously my own issues but they waited till the beginning of February to let me know that they changed his entire schedule and that I would have to wait another two weeks to the beginning of March before I can get in there and see him. Unacceptable you get pushed to the end of the line just because they screwed up their own scheduling. You had one job Joe one job

Negative experience: My wife called to do a video chat , because she can’t walk on her left leg now. She called and had talked to someone and a receptionist named Mercedes, my wife said she had attitude when she first talked to her. My wife was respectful and didn’t let it get to her. My was told she would have a video chat this following Monday. My wife called back later to give some more information she forgot about and was told that her video chat was scheduled in March. The receptionist she was talking to took her time and listened without judgment or attitude. Now she has a video chat for tomorrow.

Negative experience: I wouldn't trust them with your kid's health or records. Took my toddler in for his 2 year wellness exam. The nurse weighed my toddler using the newborn/infant scale. My toddler was hanging halfway off the scale and trying to climb out, so his weight turned out to be completely inaccurate. (I weighed him on his birthday a few weeks prior to log into his milestone baby book, so I noticed right away how wrong his weight was) I requested that he be weighed again on the correct scale for his age (at his 18 month visit, a different nurse used the standing scale). I was told he could be re-weighed after we went to the room for the initial part of the check up. The doctor saw his incorrect weight on the chart and told me it was severely underweight. I told her that it was an incorrect weight because he was hanging off the infant scale and literally trying to climb out of it. I told her the nurse said she would re-weigh him again. She agreed that he didn't "look" severely underweight and that she would ask the nurse to redo his weight on the correct scale. This Never happened. Instead, she basically lied to me and left the room and sent a nutritionist in to lecture me on how to feed my toddler. I didn't agree to this service. I found out later that my insurance didn't cover the nutritionist and was basically charged for a 2 minute conversation on what my toddler eats in a day. I just wanted the proper services done. I requested my child to be re-weighed on the CORRECT scale and they failed to do so. How dangerous and irresponsible for them to log incorrect measurements due to error into their patients records. Imagine if he needed prescriptions and was given the incorrect dosage because of an incorrect weight?! So dangerous! For this reason, I am leaving NOAH and switching to a different company that I can trust with my child’s health and records.

Negative experience: Dr. Davis is very pleasant. He also has so many patients that we are nothing but numbers. Zero personal attention. The office staff is a joke. If you ever call, it's to a call center. You can never speak to anyone directly. I don't recommend at all.

Negative experience: The last time I was there was before my miscarriage and they took my blood twice on 2 separate days and they "lost" my labs both times one right after the other.. when they lost the first one I thought "ok mistakes happen" but 2 times in a row and each time they acted like I never even got my blood drawn.

Negative experience: I have been going to the Copperwood health center for medical care the past 2 years. Care drastically changed when I went on Medicare a couple of months ago. They have not had any same day appointments available with ANY provider in the practice. In fact, I couldn't see a provider for 10 days. I was able to have 2 phone appointments. After going into the office for an EKG the nurse practitioner said she would refer me to a cardiologist and staff would get the referral done. Follow up 2 weeks later and come to find out referrals take a MONTH. My experience is all care for seniors are on a back burner. I signed up with a new provider today. I called Aetna and they said the longest they've seen referrals take is 3 days. NOT A MONTH. The other annoying thing is they recently got a new charting system. The system they use now is OCHIN which is the same system my NC provider used (I moved 2 years ago). Now my chart has 2 months of AZ medical history and all my NC history. It lists my NC providers as my current providers. Several calls to the the office about this they said don't worry - you (me) are the only one who can see this on your current chart. It even has the NC logo on my page - KINTEGRA. I wouldn't advise anyone to go here.
                            I am very disappointed that staff and customer service failed you. Fantastic experience: I am a new patient here, today was my second time coming. So far I have been very happy with the treatment I have received from the PA my first visit and this morning I was able to come in and sit down before they technically opened (it was chilly outside and most places have the door locked until exact second that they open) I sat down in the waiting room and some people came in and started a line I stood up and got into the line but the front desk person asked me first if I had an appointment because she did see me sitting in the lobby before anyone else entered. It is just a simple thing but it is nice when someone takes notice of who arrived first. When I changed jobs I was sad that I had to leave my other doctor because of insurance but so far I am really happy.

Negative experience: I’ve been coming here for a bout a year, Tanya is my provider and every single time I come she running 30-40 mins late that’s is ridiculous my “15 min” appointment turns into 2 hours overall waiting on her and being seen. What is the point of having an appointment then. Then when I’m finally seen I feel rushed to say my problems because she is so behind they want to rush you out. Her nurse ask why I was there I said I have few issue and she literally told me you have a 15 min appointment schedule so you can tell her one of the issues because she’s behind like, what?? I said I’m going to tell her everything it’s not my fault she’s behind smh horrible.

Positive experience: The people that work here are nice and hospitable , BUT if you ever have to call for anything other than making an appointment (prescriptions , questions about My Chart, etc you will be on hold all day. Then if you come in person to ask for the same information they ask you if you want to make an appointment and charge you another co-pay. Clearly some room for improvement.

Negative experience: 2 stars - Would give 5 for my primary care but I cannot get ahold of staff or doctor. Endless voicemail boxes and emails. Quick to make appointments but slow to follow through. I even told my doctor of struggles during face\face visit and she assured me this wouldn't happen. Look what just happened. Doesn't help my situation. ***update***respond to response I appreciate the follow up. Slowness is not helping my situation as I expressed to your staff and this is adding to it. I explained this to my primary care who assured me communication would be quick and painless. It wasn't and I am moving to a clinic that handles the communication more efficiently and not in this 1 way only style (voicemails and portal messages). You can contact me if you desire details of the failures as I asked you all to do numerous times. Thank you for your time in reviewing but it isn't enough to keep talking. I need immediate action and have found movement forward with another clinic.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to Noah Copperwood clinic for a few years now... I have the best primary care PA I've ever seen (Tanya Clesi Moretti-Cavalaro) you can tell she truly cares about me and my health!!... And the same goes for mental health (Rose Mintz PA) I have seen Rose at other Drs offices... And followed her to Noah... GREAT CHOICE! I THINK SHE IS THE BEST PA I'VE EVER HAD! When you find a great Dr or PA they always go somewhere else... And no one can ever tell you where?? I did some detective work and contacted her and FOUND HER!! She was pleased to hear from me and promised to let me know where she would be going... She did and she disliked it there so I waited and when she went to Noah she let me know again!!! I feel like she is an old "friend" and she listens, gives great advise and takes great care of me. Right now I don't plan on going anywhere else as long as my 2 PAs are at Noah! Thanks, you two... And the staff at Noah (who have also been outstanding)... ...I hear some patients complain about things that are out of their Drs hands... Honestly they do double book have you seen what insurance pays?? A $225 appt. Charge & They'll be lucky to get $30... And some of that goes too the clinic.. So they maybe make $18-20 if that!... And the covid pandemic caused everyone to accommodate for working at half staff!! (Most of the time)... I have to admit I have no patience for an office that will make you wait over an hour for an appointment it feels like they don't care about your time and it's not important I haven't had that issue here. I have to tell you I have, had it happen at other offices that I've gone to (not related to this clinic) and you just have to have a little more patience it's unfortunate but we do right now.
Fantastic experience: As most would agree, it's difficult to find a good doctor, especially now-a-days. Either they relocated to an entirely different place, new facility or private practice. And if you're like most of us, often it's due to Iinsurance changes. Fortunately for me, Larissa Wiley at NOHA Copperwood is hands down the best primary physician I found in the past 10-15 years, perhaps even longer. Before her, the physician I use see happened to be an old ex-armey doctor who served in the Korean war (M.A.S.H) but eventually retired. So it goes without saying, that I haven't found a better doc since. While Larissa may not of have served in the military, as a "medical professional," she definitely Topgun in my book - I think you'll agree too. She's straightforward, non-hurried, very thorough, and excels at explaining complex medical issues. Best of all, Larissa doesn't miss a thing where follow-ups are concerned, nor leave you second guessing either. Again, she's very thorough. So if you happen to be in search for a no-nonsense (and obviously well trained) medical professional, where YOU the patient comes first, not only are you in luck but also in good hands. Trust me!

Fantastic experience: I have found everyone but an assistant one time to be phenomenal, whether on the phone or in person and my Dr, Dr Davis is the best PCP I have ever had. There is a problem with messaging getting accomplished as in getting a referral, prescription refills once in a while, but that is it, and the last two issues seem to work out in the end. Nevertheless, I say NOAH and Honor Health are hands-down the best and the MyChart patient portal is the best I have ever seen. I am happy, comfortable, and pleased.

Negative experience: If I could give negative stars I would. I’ve never complained about a Dr office before but I have had nothing bad poor communication and blatant disregard for my child’s health. We were in crisis mode, still am, and I was told I would receive a referral for my child- one month later I still hadn’t heard back. Finally I get a call from the specialist stating they aren’t sure why they were given the referral for my son when they don’t see children his age. This is how they treat a family in crisis. NOAH told me they made multiple attempts to contact me - that’s a LIE! This is not the first time I’ve had issues with the referral department and their lack of communication. This afternoon I was told that it’s not their job to find me a specialist it’s my job to do that? If the person is unable to find what I need the least they could do is contact me and tell me the issues they are having. I will NEVER recommend this clinic to anyone! I’m trying to be proactive and help my child and all they did was tell me they’d call me back and they NEVER DID. SHAME on NOAH for letting my family down when I came to you begging for help.

Negative experience: This place was really helpful at first with testing for COVID. However I found out a week later I was being charged for the free test. They also wouldn’t allow me to test 2 weeks later because they wanted an appointment so they could charge me again this time. They are keeping me from going back to work and trying to charge me for something that should be free. All the RN could say is “the cdc recommends you don’t get another test for 90 days” then says I could have a test if I made an appointment and be charged a fee. This place doesn’t care about well being it’s just a money grab

Positive experience: When you are being forced to stay in your car to get a test and request to wait in a shade-covered spot because it is 105 degrees out, that request should be accommodated. Instead of allowing me to wait for the 20 minutes it took to get my test in the shade two spots over, I was forced to move my car to the full sun. Feeling like I am forced to sit in a hot car while I am sick does not make me feel like patients are your priority
                            On reading your review we cannot help it but feel responsible for having dropped the ball. 	We want to be #1 when it comes to customer service and clearly we are missing the mark. Apologies are not enough. I take full responsibility for the actions and attitudes of our staff and I have already addressed the issue internally. Give us another chance. We will not disappoint. Negative experience: Drs & counselors are great but service and front office is horrible. Also, I’m trying to go elsewhere for mental health issues but the record department never answers (no surprise) and been going on for past few days with no response.

Fantastic experience: I am updating my review from 2 stars to 5 stars because shortly after writing this lengthy review, I heard from the office manager, and she made it right. By apologizing, setting me up with a new practitioner and every visit to them, since then, has been pleasant. I also recently heard that Dr Arafiles is no long at this facility so please disregard my complaint below as this info below is not current. Thank you again. I just stormed out of the exam room over at the NOAH Cooperwood location. I was NOT a happy customer and I’m pretty sure there isn’t a single person over there that cares to know WHY. But here I am, on google reviews- hoping to make a big enough splash so that someone in charge can make some changes to HOW things are ran over there at Copperwood - maybe it will prevent another patient from feeling the way I felt. I felt undervalued. Getting into the exam room was simple. It was the wait to be seen that took much longer than it need to take. I waited in that exam room for over a half hour before the doctor felt the need to come in. Even if a nurse had come in to apologize for the wait, or given me heads up to let me know they were running behind - anything would've been better than being ignored for 30+ minutes. The hallways were dead. There wasn't a bunch of a staff, there was hardly any patients. Maybe 3 at the most. But my appointment was at 11:45 - I arrived 10 minutes early and stormed out at 12:30 or so. My complaint is for the staff who double book patients and then there's my doctor. I am not the type to complain because, well, I'm terrible at confrontation so you can only imagine how upset I must've felt to be able to actually say something out loud. The longer I waited, the more confident I felt to speak up about the long wait. Mr Arafiles was NO HELP when he finally did show up. When I complained on how long I had been waiting, he offered no apology. He claims it was busy – it didn’t look busy to me, and I had been there since 11:35 - the lobby was dead when I got there and it was still pretty dead when I stormed out. He claims "they" overlapped patient appointments and there wasn't much that he could do – I told him they shouldn’t do that and leave patients waiting. It's not right. He shrugged his shoulders and still, offered no apology. He said “you should tell them that, they don’t listen to me”. He was cavalier in his reply as if his “charm” was going to shut me up – I didn’t want excuses, I wanted an apology. I wanted accountability. I wanted to feel like a valued customer. I would've loved to have heard, "I'm sorry that we're running behind, we value your business and don't want any of our patients to feel like they don't matter." But all I got is "we're busy". If NOAH is so busy, then they don’t need my business – they won’t miss me if I choose a different provider and based on my experience today - I'm pretty sure they won’t value me whether I speak up or if I stay quiet. Mr. Arafiles simply stated that this was a typical Friday over here at Copperwood and casually proceeded with excuses to every complaint I had. Now that he wasn't apologizing about the wait, what does he have to say for himself about making me wait so long for this follow up appointment? He was quick to throw the staff under the bus. What’s the bottom line of this complaint? I won’t be going back to NOAH. There’s a right way to handle an upset patient and a wrong way. Blaming your staff and NOT APOLOGIZING is the wrong way. Mr Arafiles should learn a better way on how to handle an upset patient instead of cutting her off and claiming to get a supervisor when all he did was make me wait in the waiting room for another 10 minutes. I walked out. Waiting until June for this appointment just to wait another 45 minutes for answers to what my treatment plan is not acceptable. And no one could offer an explanation – only excuses and fingers pointed in other directions.
It seems we have failed to serve you the way you deserve. That is unacceptable. We are truly sorry for your experience. Fantastic experience: Went in after not seeing a primary care provider for over 10 years and having some concerning health scares PA Larissa Dohn Wiley and “Assistant” Sam Both did very good job in calming me down and ensuring to answer any questions I had in order to put my mind at ease I found my experience with these two be nothing short of exceptional, with the level of compassion and care they provided me I am sure I will refer any family I have here. Negative experience: I have attended this facility numerous time and have received bad medical attention each time. They have referred me to an out patient provider that does not even handle the medical issues I had. When I called back asking for a revised referral they said they cannot do another referral unless I come in and pay for another evaluation. This establishment does NOT have knowledgeable physicians.
Negative experience: I honestly don't know where to start. Please do not go here. Worst system in place ever. You will be so disappointed. I wish I never stepped foot in this place or brought my family

Fantastic experience: I can always count on the Pediatric services, offered by Dr. Avila, to always be accessible when I need them. I take my kids here more than I'd like to admit; sometimes the visit is for the doctor to relieve MY anxiety. I have not felt discomfort or a sense of intrusion the many times I have been there with last minute appointments.
Fantastic experience: I have been bringing my children to see Dr Avila for about 4 years now and I can say I have never met such an exceptional pediatrician. She is great listens to all of my concerns and treats my children with kindness and respect.
Fantastic experience: Dr. Avila and Jen, MA are simply outstanding! So much that I have transferred all 3 of our kids from their old pediatrician's office over to Copperwood Health Center. Each of our kids have had minor health issues arise that were overlooked previously, but through talking with our kids, asking them questions etc., Dr. Avila was able to address a few issues that had gone unnoticed for who knows how long. The staff have all been great, very friendly, prompt and informative. We are very fortunate to have such great healthcare for our family and have been recommending other families to come to Copperwood! Thanks for all you do for our children, it really means a lot!
Negative experience: Most terrible place ever don't go
Negative experience: Arrived early for my appointment and was left waiting for over an hour. No one bothered to let me know until I asked how much longer it'd take to see the Dr, that he was running over an hour and a half behind and wouldn't be able to see me. I have 3 small children which I cannot bring with me to appointments, so to say I was frustrated is an understatement. I've been sick for days and couldn't go see a Dr until I could arrange for someone to watch the kids, so that I could make an appointment to see a Dr. The office was practically dead and yet no one could see me for an appointment I'd made. It wasn't like I was a walk in. This was completely unacceptable in my opinion. Having to wait a little while to see a Dr is normal, but over an hour only to be told he can't see you? Ridiculous! I will never ever make an appointment here again.

Positive experience: I came in one day after work due to an injury i had gotten and I walked in not knowing they were appointment only. But luckily they helped me see a doctor that same day anyway. The lady at the front desk was professional and treated me with great kindness. I seen a doctor within 10minutes and was on my way home.

Negative experience: Would leave zero stars if we could! We got here 15 mins before the appointment time. We were called into the room 37 minutes after our scheduled appointment time. The medical assistant was nice at least and we were told the doctor would be right in. We waited 15 minutes and the Doctor still hadn't came to the room. So we left since at that point we had waited an hour to be seen even though we had an appointment. We got a call a while after we left. So had we stayed we would have waited about 20 minutes before the doctor came into the room? There was another man waiting in the lobby and the receptionist kept telling him he was next, even though they kept calling in. This location is waste of time.
