We had already been through fertility treatments and experienced four unsuccessful IUIs. Negative experience: I had an appointment scheduled this morning at 9:30 AM and confirmed and fill out the new patient form and it states they are closed today but the website allowed me to make an appointment and they sent me an email reminder before the appointment. They didn't call me or anything. That was disappointing because they had really good reviews and I thought they could help.

Fantastic experience: I first came to Dr. Shasta in January 2021, hoping for help with getting pregnant. Over the next two years, she supported me—both mentally and physically—through two miscarriages and other life challenges. When our doctors eventually recommended IVF, I met with a fertility clinic but deep down, I felt my body wasn’t the issue—stress was. Dr. Shasta worked closely with me, seeing me twice a week for a couple of months. After years of struggling to get pregnant, my husband and I succeeded with our 3rd IUI treatment. After having our boy, we were so excited to try again for a second baby but were met with more disappointment, having 6 failed IUIs, two miscarriages and a failed IVF round. Fantastic experience: Long overdue review, but I am now the mom of a healthy toddler thanks to Dr Shasta’s help. I believe the acupuncture had a positive effect. After years of struggling with infertility I was at a low point and had pretty much given up. After just ten sessions with Dr Shasta I was able to conceive successfully. Fantastic experience: Healed!!!! I had a pretty bad injury; I tried PT and ended up getting worse injuring the other side. Fantastic experience: First time experienced micro needling by Dr. Shasta. Pain was minimal. My facial skin was plumped and growing next morning. I will definitely follow up for once a month.

Fantastic experience: If you are having challenges conceiving, I would see Dr Shasta at your earliest convenience and definitely before trying other assisted reproductive technology (ART) methods such as IUI and IVF. I previously tried 4 cycles of IUI, all of which have yielded no results in terms of a positive sign of pregnancy. I gave up ART in frustration and this time I decided to try Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and found Dr Shasta online. I met her and signed up for her 3-month fertility program and throughout it, she has been very patient, kind, and understanding. Dr Shasta assessed my health, ordered lab tests, reviewed by hormone levels, created a personalized treatment consisting of a diet (food list, specific recipes, beverages to consume), a detoxification plan since we're constantly exposed to chemicals and toxins, Chinese health aids to target pressure points, and acupuncture at least twice a week. It was a commitment where I had to adjust my lifestyle, schedule for appointments, and consumption habits but I was ready to adhere to it because I really didn't want to go through the IVF route and I hated IUI hormone injections. I thought her Yelp and Google reviews were too good to be true and told her I was skeptical but wanted to give TCM and her program a chance. Before the fertility program was over, I was ecstatic and grateful to learn that I was pregnant but was also anxious that the pregnancy would end up in a miscarriage since I've had a previous miscarriage. I continued to see Dr Shasta to help the body sustain the pregnancy and to treat nausea and successfully carried my baby to full term. My baby was born summer of 2023 and I thank God that Dr Shasta has helped me become pregnant, my baby is a healthy and beautiful boy. I wish I skipped IUI along with all its injections, appointments and procedures and instead went straight to Dr Shasta and the TCM route. If you're trying to conceive (TTC) and are on the fence, I think she offers a complimentary call/consultation. I'm grateful for Dr Shasta and her 30 years of experience, her treatment plan rates are FAR MORE than fair and affordable compared to ART. I have no regrets in seeing her and trying TCM. I'm so glad to have had the pleasure of meeting her and so happy to have been under her treatment. I'm privileged to have her as my doctor.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Shasta is a miracle worker. I came to her about a year ago as my husband and I were trying to conceive. She guided me on better nutrition, which also helped me lose weight. We had a few failed iui, Dr. Shasta continued to support as we prepared for IVF and we were able to harvest healthy embryos and conceived on our first try. I am very grateful to have met her. Fantastic experience: OCTOBER 20th, 2022: Dr Shastas work is magic! I've been dealing with infertility for over 2 years and before coming to her I was getting weekly acupuncture and had already been through 3 IVF retrievals and two failed transfers (one was a miscarriage at 9 weeks and the other was a chemical pregnancy). This road has been rough for my husband and I and I knew I needed to change something up and had a gut feeling a new acupuncturist was the key. I did research and picked Dr Shasta based on her yelp reviews. I have been going to her for about 6-7 weeks thus far and she has been helping me detox my body before my fourth IVF retrieval (I have been under anesthesia about 6 times in a year). I have learned so much from her and my body has never felt more amazing! I just got the results from my IVF retrieval and we have 5 embryos that are being sent for PGT testing!!! Fantastic experience: Highly recommend! Dr. Shasta is an amazing miracle maker! When I decided to visit Dr.Shasta's acupuncture, I knew almost nothing about acupuncture. All I wanted was to have a baby and my doctor (OBGYN) told me I should consider IVF due to my PCOS. My cycle is usually every 3 months and I knew it was so unhealthy but I didn't know what to do. Before I move on to IVF, I wanted to try it as naturally as possible because I was really afraid of using chemicals. To be honest, Dr. Shasta's reviews look too good to be true but I decided to take a chance. She's passionate about fertility and I feel great after each session. She always encourages me and shares her knowledge every time when I'm there. After our first consultation, I changed my diet and started to cook her recipe at home regularly. Right before my fourth session, I found out that I'm pregnant! Couldn't believe it at first because I didn't expect it to happen so quickly but now I'm at 26 weeks of pregnancy!!! Fantastic experience: Before I started working with Dr.Shasta, my partner and I had been trying to conceive for nearly a year. I had also tried other acupuncture treatments and Chinese herb medicine but didn't find a critical improvement. The western fertility doctor suggested me go straight to IVF considering my age and AMH level, I found Dr. Shasta like the last straw before starting my IVF treatments. During the initial consultation appointment, I was given more than enough of information to support my health condition, not only from the fertility perspective but the consultation covers mental and overall physical conditions as well. She taught me how should I eat clean, non-toxic food and the how should I change my life style to reduce stress which helps to balance my hormone. After following the tips that Dr. Shasta gave me, I saw improvement after just a week or 2 then I found out that I was pregnant after 6 acupuncture treatments. Unfortunately, I had a miscarriage around 11 week due to chromosome issue but I believe my pregnancy proves Dr. Shasta's treatments are effective. My partner and I made our decision to start our IVF treatments due to the concern of my age but I really wish I could've found Dr. Shasta 6 months earlier. Fantastic experience: Dr Shasta is fantastic! My wife and I consulted with Dr Shasta after we struggled to conceive for a little over a year. We already ate very healthy diets and supplemented appropriately with vitamins/minerals. We felt puzzled and extremely disappointed since having children was so important to both of us. Fantastic experience: I went to see Dr. Shasta after a miscarriage and was pregnant a month later. The pregnancy is going well! I also have endometriosis and was really worried that maintaining a pregnancy would be difficult for me (I am also 35 years old). She made dietary recommendations and this has been helpful for detox and feeling more energized. I always leave appointments feeling refreshed and de-stressed. I highly recommend her for fertility services, it has absolutely been worth it.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Shasta is super nice and sweet , she know about my symptom and did the acupuncture to the right spots on my legs, hands and even face! I feel comfortable and relax without feeling pain but only little toothpick poke only ! I really glad I found this place , friendly people in front too. The inside each room so clean and the relax environment so helpful too while doing acupuncture there. I am on my way recovering my symptom which about 80% and hope soon will get 100%! Fantastic experience: Dr. Shasta has changed my life forever. That seems like a dramatic statement but its true. I had gone to the doctors twice over the last few years asking for tests to be done because of my low energy level. I also found it was really hard to concentrate, like my mind was fuzzy and hazy, making it difficult to stay concentrated on a task or retain new information. Also, the prior winter I had gotten sick 4 or 5 times. I couldn't believe how low my immune system was. After an extensive intake she was certain I had adrenal fatigue and high amounts of cortisol in my system due to extensive stress and grief I endured in the past few years. I began seeing her twice a week and after 1 month of treatment, I no longer felt like I needed a coffee to keep me going in the afternoons. My husband was amazed at my energy level and the fog in my brain felt like it cleared. Fantastic experience: tl;dr? Just set up an appt. Read on for the more detailed story if you like. Dr. Shasta is a skilled and caring wellness professional. I had always been a skeptic regarding natural and "alternative" medicine, so I only tried acupuncture and herbal medicine after doing the full course of standard medical treatment for chronic pain from spinal problems. Long story short? I got more relief in two sessions of acupuncture than I had from months of physical therapy, exercise, painkillers, antidepressants, etc. I had really thrown the whole apparatus of Western at it. I also had skilled and caring providers, but their tools just did not work for me. Dr Shasta literally gave me my life back. I've drastically decreased my intake of standard painkillers and antiinflammatories. I maintain my wellness with a few herbal supplements and natural vitamins, and acupuncture when I feel like I could use a bit of a boost, or to treat occasional flare-ups . I give her my highest recommendation. I'd give my other treatments for my condition about a 3. Her treatment is a 10+.

Fantastic experience: Dr Shasta’s acupuncture treatment has really been helping me a lot with IBS symptoms, as well as with headaches/migraines and fatigue. Fantastic experience: I started going for my migraines and tension in my shoulders. I can say after only a few month I have no migraines and mine were chronic where I would throw up from the pressure. Shasta worked on my tight hips which have really loosened up since her working on them. She does cupping on my shoulders as well and it helps alot since I have scarred tissue from yoga and being an athlete growing up. She saved my body and helped me calm my mind too. I go at least 2x a month and it made a huge difference.

Fantastic experience: I just started seeing Dr. Shasta Ericson for back pain. I as very impressed with her from the start of our first appointment. She asked a lot of questions and clarified my answers with great follow up questions. Once I was on her table, I appreciated her light touch while applying the acupuncture needles. I also love that she gave me a little remote bell, so that I could alert her if I needed anything during the treatment. I was pleased to get a whole take home packet that gave information regarding ways to detox my life, foods that will improve my health, and information specific to my condition. Fantastic experience: A friend of mine referred us to Dr. Shasta. Before seeing her, we worked with infertility specialist for over a year and they were unable to find the problem. Fantastic experience: Had a great experience At Way of Wellness Natural Health Care! I had some congestion in my lungs and sought out & acupuncturist for some relief. The congestion had been in my chest for over a month at this point. Shasta was so amazingly kind and loving in her care for myself and my health care problem. She set me up in my own little room. She used heat lamps at a very reasonable setting, assuring that I was comfortable through out the entire process. She left the room, following putting the tiny pins in my back, allowing me a much needed slumber for 20-30 minuets. After 20 minutes she checked back with me to ask if I wanted another 10 minutes. I had to get on my way at that point however. In the following days my lungs were less congested & my cough subsided. Fantastic experience: I have always been a believer in acupuncture and a wholistic approach to healing. A big part of that is the food we eat and the products we use to make our food. With Dr. Tierra 's diet and other guidelines on nutrition, I have seen results in just over 2 weeks. I have always known about Kitchari, which is a heavenly detox food, that originates in India. But Dr.Tierra's modifications of the Kitchari that I was eating, and making it a constant in my diet, has easily helped me lose over 5 pounds in a short time. I can confidently say now that a lot of my excess weight was the toxins from the food I was consuming and the detox has helped flush that away. I also took a few blood tests results that showed really good progress on some key statistics related to my health. Additionally, I feel lighter, a lot more relaxed and focused thanks to my acupuncture treatments. I am so glad I found Dr. Tierra!!

Fantastic experience: Dr.Shasta is AMAZING! The initial consult with her was so thorough and she brought up a few things I wanted to discuss, herself! I felt so confident after the first consult to be in her care. I then did acupuncture treatments 3x a week and started feeling so much more better- energetic, calmer and positive in general. She not only comes up with a treatment plan but also with a diet for your needs, so it’s very holistic. She is super flexible with times and appointments and readily available on text message. She also remembers you and your history so easily and you literally pick up where you left off at the previous appointment. I also love the treatment rooms- they are quiet with calming music playing. Fantastic experience: A gift to all. Had severe hand pain and inflammation for several weeks and found no relief till I met Dr. Shasta. Fantastic experience: Shasta at Way of Wellness is amazing. I have been seeing her about 6 months, I have had full spine and neck issues. Pinched nerves and I am also a runner and I work out. Without her I would not be able to continue these things. Positive experience: Dr Shashta is very knowledgable and experienced doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She was really helpful in making me understand the benefits of acupuncture for not just physical but mental health. Fantastic experience: Very relaxing and quite atmosphere ! Shasta the Doctor of Acupuncture listens and is very gentle in her course of treatment which removed my pain from multiple issues from car accident ! At 41 years old I have been recovering from a spine injury for over 4 years with all my treatment from Kaiser….physical therapy, occupational therapy, epidural injections, cortisone injections, and finally a cervical fusion of 3 neck bones…. I thought I would have to consume handfuls of pain pills the rest of my life and be disabled with a cane…. Luckily I was wrong! Dr. Shasta Tierra is a true healer sent from God. She uses many techniques: needles, cupping, electro stimulation, infra-red heat, and verbal counseling. Every time I leave the office I run to my phone to “look up” something new that she recommends. I am a converted skeptic and wish everybody could hear my story. After just a few treatments, I was able to drop my nerve medications by 75% and pain meds by 90% !! A few treatments after that I stopped using my cane all together. Fantastic experience: The Way of Wellness is a very appropriately-named business--because it is a portal for being healed from pain and suffering. Case in point, my experience yesterday. Dr. Shasta Tierra--who is masterful in both Chinese medicine as well as nutrition-- worked on my shoulder and arm which had been in constant pain from a fall I had last week. In less than a half-hour, I was well on way to wellness. The pain was greatly reduced and she gave me tips on continuing on my path back from pain. This is a great place to go if you are looking for safe, smart, affordable alternates to opiates and other "western" ways of dealing with pain. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Acupuncture with Shasta is such a positive experience. She is kind, caring, and gentle. I have seen her for a variety of reasons over the years, but I would say the most unexpected result was when she treated me for anemia. Prior to the acupuncture treatments I was taking 6 times the rda of iron supplement with no increase in my iron levels as measured by blood tests. After acupuncture treatment, my iron was within the normal range, and I was not taking any iron supplement. I started feeling so much better and had much better energy. With none of the unpleasant side effects that iron supplements have. The other drastic change in my health was when I had h-pylori, and the MD wanted to wait until after the holidays to treat me because of concern that the antibiotics would make me sick. After 2 weeks being completely unable to keep any food down, I went to Shasta. That night I was able to eat. After the holidays, when the MD agreed to treat me with the antibiotic I continued sessions with Shasta and had no ill effects from the high dose of antibiotics I had to take. My son used to get a cough every year from November to February. Nothing helped it go away until I started taking him to acupuncture. At the first sign of cough I take him in and in clears up in a couple of days. He used to miss so much school from these severe coughs. Acupuncture with Shasta makes our lives better!

Fantastic experience: Such a great experience! I went in yesterday for my first acupuncture session ever not knowing what to expect. Shasta is super friendly, very knowledgeable and an expert in her field. Just in our short evaluation she was able to determine the root cause of my symptoms and recommended exactly what I needed to improve and reach my maximum performance as a golf professional. We focused on my tight hips. I also told her I had cramps in my feet, weak joints, cold feet/hands, weight loss, etc. She applied the needles in the correct position with no pain at all. After 25 minutes or so relaxing and listening to meditative music I felt calm and refreshed. I noticed less tension in my lower body and hips right away. I really did not expect noticeable results right away! It didn't even really kick in until night when I was laying down in my bed and I notice that this was probably the most relaxed my hips and legs have been in years... I also noticed my hands and feet seem to have more blood flow and best of all this was one of the first times in a long time my feet and hands were not cold. I did some more deep breathing and felt the benefits even more! Even better, when I woke up in the morning I was still warm and comfortable. This might sound like a minor issue for some but for me this is a life changer! My hips and legs feel like they have more circulation and less tension. It's amazing. Shasta is the best!!
