Fantastic experience: Dr. Gunn at the works is the best chiropractor I’ve seen! My friend referred me to him and I got instant relief from my displaced rib, tilted hips, TMJ and other ailments. He combines his deep medical knowledge with tuning into your body and doesn’t just do a one-size-fits all adjustment. He maintains good communication throughout the adjustment to ensure you’re comfortable. The office could definitely use some TLC aesthetically, but the chiro is fantastic. I was initially confused about pricing, but now that I understand how it works, it’s awesome. The Works is big on doing a flat fee up-front so you don’t get surprise fees after insurance. The office charges a co-pay based on what they assume your insurance will cover, and that’s all you ever pay. For one adjustment paying with my Aetna Utah Select health insurance, I paid a $25 upfront fee. If you’d like to pay out of pocket and not run it through insurance, it’s $35.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Gunn is great. When I was pregnant I went to him because of his training with flipping beach babies. I was able to avoid a C-Section, thankfully. While I was there and he adjusted me I found relief from the pains I had been having my whole pregnancy that I didn’t even realize were attributed to being out of alignment. I wish I would have gone sooner! Now a year later, I hurt my neck rock climbing. I couldn’t move it side to side and had terrible headaches for a week despite trying everything I could think of. Fantastic experience: I’m 32 weeks pregnant and I’ve had lots of lower back pain. I’ve never been to a chiropractor but last time I got a prenatal massage, the therapist told me my alignment was off. I called Mark Gunn’s office because I read online that he was certified in the Webster Technique and he takes my insurance. I called at 2 pm and they were able to squeeze me into a 5:30 spot. The receptionist was super nice and called my insurance to figure out exactly what the coverage was and what my copay should be. And Dr. Gunn was excellent. I told him how nervous I was and he explained everything he was doing and that if it was too much, we could try a slower approach. He did a few adjustments to help my hip alignment and then showed me several stretches from Spinning Babies to ease tension. I immediately felt relief and just woke up to the best night’s sleep I’ve had for awhile. And as someone headed to newborn land, this is so important! I highly recommend Dr. Gunn for prenatal adjustments.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Gunn and the staff here are the bomb. I always feel welcome here and cared about. As someone who is tall and a big girl, that doesn't always come easily. Dr. Gunn is super friendly and asks a lot of questions to work on to make you feel better. I went to a couple of people that wanted to work on my upper back because it had the most tention, but my lower back was what was killing me to the point I was crying every day. Dr. Gunn listened to me and I have been working with him ever since. I also love his receptionist, Emily, who is a sweetheart. If you don't have insurance, the prices per visit are more than fair. This place is definitely worth a try.

Negative experience: I had gone here to get my neck massaged because it has been killing me. I specifically said a neck massage and drew pictures on paper of the hurt area. The guy, Ben, though, wanted to give me a full massage. He told me to get undressed. I was so confused. But I thought he needed to massage my upper back without a shirt. He then started massaging my butt! Whoaaa! I didn’t agree to that. I was super uncomfortable, but didn’t want to walk out and cause a stir. So I just went through with it. Mind you, he hardly focused on my circled pain areas. After I got dressed, I then tried talking to the manager, Megan, about why I was given a massage like that when only I needed my neck massaged. But I wasn’t able to talk to her. A week later, I tried scheduling a new appointment to have somebody else massage me. The receptionist at first said she would set up a schedule for next week, but then I was put on hold for a few minutes and I learned that they were suddenly booked for many months! I had written a brief complaint on my social media and so they probably saw my TRUE complaint about being butt rubbed and retaliated against me. Whatever. I wasn’t trying to start anything. I just legit felt uncomfortable and was perturbed why I was getting a massage down there when I said I needed a neck massage.

Fantastic experience: Utah’s Best Chiropractor!! I’ve been seeing Dr Gunn off and on for a few years now. He’s so nice and takes his time. And his whole staff really cares! They always find a way to get you in on short notice and help get you some relief. I’ll never go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Gunn is a compassionate healer. He does a great job making sure the area needing treatment is warmed up and ready with heat pads, electrical pad stimulation, and an optional body vibrating platform. Grateful to have this haven to keep my neck in check.

I went and visited his clinic after trying physical therapy and acupuncture and revived wonderful treatment. I now can sit for more than a few minutes without pain! Fantastic experience: This is the best chiropractic experience I have had in my life! Not only is it extremely affordable, but they actually take time to sit down with you and make sure your needs are catered to. The hot towels and massage are a plus, but after my kinked neck kept me from a good nights sleep or being able to work, Dr. Gunn had be better in just two visits! He knows what he is doing, and it's not just a 30 second adjustment like most places do. I'm going to tell everyone I know about this place!

Fantastic experience: Watched a guy flip out here one time when he couldn’t be seen that day. The lobby was full of other customers waiting and he tried to made this huge scene. The staff was incredibly gracious with him, but he just stormed out after delivering a verbal tirade. He really could’ve used the body work and I was sorry to see him in such a state. I highly recommend this place though. The chiro knows what he’s doing and offers very fair pricing to his clientele.

Fantastic experience: Best quiropractic care EVER! He helped me during my second pregnancy when my baby was breech at 38 weeks of gestation and she turned in 1 week with his help and accupunture. He is very personal and explains why he does what he does with details, definitely doesn't hurry up to keep the patients going and takes time to see YOU and give you the best care!his staff is pretty awesome as well.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Gunn is amazing! I remember driving to my first visit and being so nervous. I had never been to a chiropractor before and I had no idea what to expect. I walked in and was given a warm welcome by Kimberly at the front desk. She got me all checked in and took me back to the room. I had both my kids with me and they were able to get some crayons and coloring pages and take them back with us. When Dr. Gunn walked in he was sweet and had a very professional manor to him. He adjusted me and I was SOOO SHOCKED! I had nothing to be scared about. He was great! I am so glad that I found Dr. Gunn. I continued to see him through my pregnancy and feel he deserves great credit for helping my body be in perfect alignment so when the day came to have my baby I was able to have him very fast because my body was where it needed to be. Fantastic experience: Dr. Gunn is amazing! I've been in the military since 2003. Part of that includes a break in service with the Army in order to enlist into the Marine Corps a few years ago where I unfortunately developed planter fasciitis in both of my feet. The USMC gave me a medical discharge from boot camp. I found Dr. Gunn almost a year after (around March 2014) where I began treating it, and having suffered with planter fasciitis for a good amount of time, it was (honestly) painful at first. However, immediately after the treatments, my feet felt much better and felt like I had just been through a foot massage. I saw him once a week for treatments for many months. Now, here in Jan 2015, I was able to re-enlist back into the Army National Guard, am able to run and perform my PT tests without any issue and play basketball. If you suffer from planter fasciitis, Dr. Gunn is my most definite recommendation.

Dr. Gunn graduated Summa Cum Laude from Southern California University of Health Sciences (4th overall). 9. Dr. Gunn is a massive sports fan. He played it all, but baseball was his baby. Want to be best friends? Ask him about whatever you saw on Sports Center the night before. 8. Dr. Gunn speaks Spanish. 7. Fantastic experience: Dr. Aldridge really knows his stuff! He has techniques for migraine headaches and neuropathy that I've never seen before. Cranial and neck adjustments have given me enormous relief! And he is now a BCBS provider. He has massage therapists, and a new anti-cellulite galvanic treatment package that is smoothing out my thighs. Lots of great stuff going on at The Works!

Fantastic experience: Ive been going to Dr. Aldridge for quite awhile now & when I started coming to him I was suffering from severe/frequent headaches & constant neck & back pain. Since I began seeing him my headaches have reduced drastically & my pain is much less after a visit with him. I would highly recommend we all get adjusted regularly & use it more as a preventative rather then going after your in pain. I myself need to work on this as well! Fantastic experience: I work as a Massage Therapist, which can be a fairly physically demanding job at times. So, Dr. Aldridge is a great resource to have! He is patient with his clients, and always takes the time to listen and help whatever specific issues I may be having. On a long day, it is quite refreshing to get a good chiropractic "crack". It helps with any mid-back pain I might otherwise have gotten doing my work, and it does wonders to help improve my structural posturing and integrity! Positive experience: Okay, so, this place is a great deal if your insurance is going to help out. Only thing is, they aren't a primary provider with BlueCross/BlueShield which means I would have to meet a $400 deductible before I could get any % covered by them. As far as the services, I got a massage from Hailey and it was the best massage I've ever gotten. I have been seeing Dr. Dave and have met with him twice and so far the adjustments seem to be helping me with my lower back pain and hip pain. I was skeptical at first, and still am a little bit, so depending on how the treatments go I will come back on here and adjust my rating. Couple more things to throw in, the Cash rates for those not paying with insurance are very reasonable so definitely tip your massage therapist well. ($29 for 1 hr massage, $39 for adjustment.) They were also willing to work with me when I needed to get several X-rays done which usually cost a fortune.
