Fantastic experience: How to begin. At 50 years old I was in a car accident, the front passenger. The other driver ran the stop sign. It took 3 police officers (young and strong) 5 minutes to pull the door open and get me into the ambulance. Now I mention this because it is the reason I sought out the help of Dr. Friedman. The bone never broke, but it did die, in my body while I was still using it. Now of course total hip replacement surgery became necessary. You think that’s the end of it, but not so much. The dead bone caused damage to other systems in my body, including the lymphatic system drainage. So, over the (16) years this process was happening the toxins went unchecked. Weight gain which was trapped fluid. Numbness in my feet (very painful) which makes walking difficult and limits your footwear choices (girls live for footwear). So, now what has happened since I quite just by chance found Dr. Friedman. In 3 treatments (one a week, should be more often), but even with that, I have been able to sleep w/o a pain med for the first time in 18 months. There is still more recovery to achieve but I know I have someone who has answers to the solve the problem. A doctor who treats me for unrelated issues saw the swelling in my lower legs, ankles and feet and was very blunt and honest. She is with NY Presbyterian/Weill Cornell “with swelling like this you should be admitted to the hospital. But they have no answers or treatment for this condition and if you have found someone that can treat you effectively, go for it. I don’t care that the other doctors or the hospital don’t agree.” Bless her heart because she wants what is best for the patient. I now know that there is an end in sight and 1 month ago I didn’t feel that way.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Friedman saved my life. That’s not an exaggeration. Before I met her I was in the lowest point of my life and who knows how much worse I would have gotten. Exhausted doesn’t begin to describe how I felt. Everything from my muscles, my joints, even my thoughts and ability to think were heavy. Hopelessness also set in because it felt impossible play with my young son, or be a good husband for my wife - and she deserves the best. Even my performance at work suffered. Fantastic experience: I have been treated for various and sundry orthopedic issues for over 20 years . I have complete confidence in her. Over the course of time she has generally treated the area of my body that has caused me the most discomfort ie back , neck , shoulders and legs . That said , I have been suffering from foot pain in both feet for 11 years . It seems to be related to spinal cord damage and related surgeries . I have complained of these pains to my surgeons , my neurologists , diagnosticians at the Mayo Clinic and a few podiatrists . I have tried orthotics , pain pills and prayer . About a month ago I visited Loretta primarily about a stiff neck and shoulder blade . I offhandedly mentioned the pain in both my feet which I would characterize on my pain scale as a constant 7 or 8 . . Loretta spoke to me about Shock Wave Therapy and she was usual quite optimistic and I was usual skeptical. She convinced me to try it. I have undergone 3 sessions and my pain has now receded to a 3 or 4. That may seem like just a number but I can now spend much of my day not thinking about my feet . I have suffered so long that I am truly cautious about this progress as I have been living as a surgical Guinea pig for about 25 years . Fantastic experience: My ears have been blocked for a couple of months and my ENT told me they didn't see any congestion and to take a claritin every day. I would wake up in the morning without agonizing pain in my hips and back and I was able to sleep through the night. Before I started seeing her I was in pain for months. What started off feeling like a sore hip/ lower back became what felt like a life altering disability. Fantastic experience: Dr. Loretta Friedman was amazing. Her walls are covered with certifications and degrees, and her experience shows. She specializes in Direct Non Force Technique which means she isn't going to wack em' crack em' snap you back into place. Her approach seems lighter but don't be fooled you will feel it. It's almost like a series of brushes and taps and pushes but while she was adjusting me I could feel the energy in my body being moved. At one point I was writhing on the table and then immediately felt pain free. She is one of the best and a hidden gem in the city. Also LGBT friendly which is an obvious plus.

I have had SI joint issues for over 20 years, and traditional chiropractic adjustments would give me very temporary relief followed by greater instability of the joint. While I still have some nagging soreness, Dr. Friedman’s approach has restored my lower back’s stability, which means I’m no longer in constant fear of an acute injury.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Friedman’s knowledge of the body is seemingly unparalleled. I visited with severe back pain from an injury that had occurred 6 months prior. Previous doctor’s visits resulted in solutions made up of muscle relaxers and rest/stretching, while offering temporary relief the pain frequently returned. Dr. Friedman’s goal is to work with you on a plan to become pain free in the long term - although it should be noted that her plans are actually quite effective and in a short period of time you will be able to achieve long term relief. I left my initial visit feeling significant relief, but as with any serious injury not immediate. Fantastic experience: Get treated with Dr. Loretta Friedman is the best thing that have happened to me, after having given birth, I was with an unbearable lower back pain, after the first session I felt much better, and much lighter. Fantastic experience: I have a history of back issues including sciatica. I also sit most of the day which does not help matters. I came to Dr. Loretta with a stiff and painful lower back and pain in my left hip as well as ZERO energy. I literally slept my days away because being awake for more than two hours at a time was a huge struggle. I can't say my back is completely better (A life long problem will take a while to fix) but I do have increased mobility. I don't worry that my back will go out at any moment! Fantastic experience: I have been suffering from a non-union fracture in my ankle for quite some time. It got to the point where every step I took was extremely painful. The orthopedist wanted to perform surgery to put screws in my ankle, which I am dead set against. Three treatments with Dr. Loretta and my ankle is pain free! Although treating my ankle was the main objective, she also addressed the dizziness I've been experiencing lately. During those adjustments she also treated me for that. What a relief!!!! Fantastic experience: I have been completely consumed with pain for 18 years and it was as if I was estranged from my own body. At the age of 53, I felt like I was 83 leaning forward, shoulders hunched, with joint pain and inflexibility. Dr. Loretta was straight forward and knew exactly what to do to address my issues. I went to other doctors for my chronic back to treat my 6 herniated discs and neck pain, other doctors wanted to do surgery I was very nervous with that especially near my spine, I would have a chiropractor “crack” my neck and I would feel better for a few days and then back to the same agonizing pain. Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Dr. Friedman’s treatments, from lymphatic drainage to detoxification to re-alignment! Out of nowhere my breasts were hurting me and tender to touch. I’m post menopause and they shouldn’t be feeling the way they did - after a few lymphatic drainage treatments, my breasts came back to normal sensation and no more tenderness - amazing! Non- cracking, non-smashing chiropractic treatments on my back and legs make me limber and pain free after but would need a series of these treatments for optimal relief. Positive experience: My thigh had been bothering me from sitting at the computer too long, days on end. I developed pain and a knot, I didn't know if I was having circulation problems or fluid buildup or what, but some kind of stagnation was going on in there! In one lymph treatment I felt the difference. The dr said I would be tired afterwards, which I brushed off, but I knocked out when I got home, a restful 1 1/2 hour nap. I think my body needed that time to heal even more.
