Fantastic experience: For 5 years, I have had a great relationship with Dr . Joe's office. I have often recommended them to friends and family. I listen to Dr Joe's radio show often, and have even called in the show for advice.

Negative experience: Wanted to post to help the next person who may want to know. They won't tell you upfront how much the visits will be. You have to pay $300 for initial visit, which includes an adjustment and X-rays. Each visit thereafter is $310 for a 13 visit package. What's whopping $4030 for adjustments. No thanks.

Fantastic experience: I drive out of my way to go to this chiropractor! Dr. Erwin has helped so much with bouts of vertigo or when I get out of alignment due to my scoliosis. I have also learned so much by listening to Dr. Joe's radio shows about proper nutrition.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Amy Hall who normally works out of the Stockbridge location resolved several issues with me, starting with my stomach issue. Before deciding to try a chiropractor, I used to wake up in the middle of the night with excruciating stomach pains and the only way I could relieve the pain was to take an Epsom salt laxative. This was mainly caused by stress and diet. I'd stopped eating things like peanuts (my fav snack esp at a Braves game [smile]), walnuts, etc. and any foods with seeds. Before deciding to try Dr. Joe, my colonoscopy doctor diagnosed me with a mild case of diverticulitis, and so by changing my diet, my stomach pain slowed just a little. I would still wake some nights in excruciating pain. I still did not decide to try a chiropractor until waking up one day and realized I could only lift both my feet barely a couple inches from the floor when putting on my underwear and pants. This went on for several weeks, maybe a couple of months before I decided to try Dr. Joe's office. When pain creams, back pain patches, other OTC remedies didn't work, I made the call to Dr. Joe Esposito's Stockbridge location. After speaking to office manager/Tech Keira about how Dr. Amy corrected her issues (I won't go into details), I was convinced that I should at least try it. To make this long story short, ALL my issues with my stomach was fixed by Dr. Amy working magic (my word) with this thing she does with her hands. For example, I would be laying on the table, she would have me to raise my right arm straight up in the air, then she instructs me to resist her pulling my arm down while she presses somewhere in my stomach area. My arm would immediately come down when she pulled. Then she would perform some kind of task with her hands on my stomach while instructing me to breathe in then slowly breathe out, then taadaa, she make some kind of moves/presses with her hands in my stomach area, and repeat her instructions with me to resist her pull down of my arm, and low and behold, taadaa, my arm would not move. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Also, concerning my back or what I thought was a back problem causing me to barely lift my feet from the floor (causing excruciating pain down to the top of my thigh in both legs), well after observing me and with regular continued visits, Dr. Amy stated that I had a misaligned hip (I believe it was the right hip), and continued to treat me concentrating more in the hip area. Low and behold after about a month of treatment and exercises, I now am back to normal. Simply AMAZING!

Negative experience: While the chiropractic care at this facility is good, this location does not correctly bill their visits against insurance companies. The co-pay for my visit should be $40, but it gets billed at over $100 to $250 each visit. Even after calling several times, this issues has not gotten fixed. This place does provide good chiropractic care, so I will not keep this review if this issue gets fixed, but at the current moment, I can't recommend others come to this location with the possibility of having incorrectly high cost of treatments.

Fantastic experience: I am so incredibly grateful to Dr. Joe for all he's done for me! Several months ago, I suddenly became sick with digestive issues. I was in and out of the hospital, diagnosed several times with different things, but ultimately never got any relief from my symptoms. While in between waiting for appointments with another GI specialist, I did some research online about my symptoms and decided to see Dr. Joe. I was able to get into the office for an appointment the day after I called which was so much better than the six weeks waiting for all the other doctors I was seeing. I admit, I was skeptical at first that chiropractic adjustments could help my digestive issues, and I was only giving it a try because I was at my wits end and desperate to find any sort of relief, but after a few weeks of regular appointments, my symptoms began to disappear! It was the first signs of relief I'd gotten in months! I have to admit I was also skeptical of his supplements at first because I'd never taken supplements that I felt actually helped, but I can honestly say I feel such a big difference while I've been taking the supplements! Dr. Joe knew exactly how to treat me and I'm so incredibly grateful for what he's done for me!

Positive experience: So this is going back a few years and this person might not be there anymore BUT thought about this today and still upset about this years later and thought I should share. I went to Dr. Joe because my back was not good at all. Everyone there was super nice and supportive, until... This woman comes in to discuss payment and right off the bat she's very combative. Saying I should spend $2000+ for a package. First of all, I did not have 2k in my bank at the time. Second, I explain I was going to wait until my new insurance kicked in. She then basically yelled at me saying something about deductibles. She defiantly did not like me bringing this up. I said there was no way I could pay 2k all in one day. She looked frustrated and then said she could cut this $2000+ payment in half for me as a "deal" to pay in two parts. She talked me into it and I hate to this day that she did. She left the room and then the nice people came back in. I get it that the money person has to be the "bad guy/woman" but she really took it very far. She called me about 2 weeks later demanding I pay the rest of the bill. I did and due to having such a bad vibe from her/it all never finished my treatments. I do think overall they want to care for people and help. But I did feel like they had a bit of this system in place to get people to pay lots of money. I walked in thinking it would be like $60 for the visit, boy was I wrong.

Fantastic experience: Just love Dr. Pam! She is funny, patient and very knowledgeable concerning the back. She spends the time explaining, answering, teaching, etc. any question I present to her. Been going to Dr. Pam for about 1-1/12 months and I am noticing a big difference, for the good, with the multiple back problems I initially went to her for. Would definitely recommend her to anyone.

Fantastic experience: The Chiropractor I saw seemed very experienced with many different types of cases. The X-rays seemed complete. We didn’t wait long at all and everyone was very friendly. I will not be going back for several reasons. The doctor I saw had used so many expletives that I was shocked. I haven’t heard that much swearing in the past year of my life. I had my 15 year old child with me which wasn’t great. She started unloading the f word until I interrupted her. This is just a personal thing and some people would’t have any issues with that. The other thing that bothered me is that I went to have both chiropractic and nutritional advise. When the doctor came into the room I asked if he/she had a background in Functional medicine or natural medicine and the doctor said no emphatically and told me he/she was only a chiropractor. Well, oddly enough when we received the nutritional report of the questionnaire we filled out it was this same doctor who gave us the nutritional report. Not great. I would have preferred to talk to someone who is trained in this area. There were several other things that I did not care for but I won’t list them all here. I am sure there are lots of people who have had great results. I will go somewhere else. Edit: Two hours after I posted this review I received an email personally from Dr. Joe. He went over and above to rectify the situation. I am very impressed.

Fantastic experience: I have been taking Dr. Joe’s super greens and Essential Source for about six months now and I feel like a completely different person. I have had a dramatic change in my energy levels and one of the things I was hoping for was a change in the advancement of my early onset macular degeneration. I’m thrilled to report that my doctor had to actually go into my records to check whether he had ever diagnosed me with early onset macular degeneration because the change has been so dramatic. After he realize that he had indeed diagnosed me with it he was amazed at the results and told me to keep doing whatever I was doing. I have been taking fish oil and Ocuvite 50+ supplements which were keeping my eyes from watering so I was satisfied with that. Fantastic experience: Five stars for Tracy in the records dept. She helped me get my medical records and X-rays in about a week (Tracy is the best). About four months ago, after calling Marietta and speaking to a male receptionist he scheduled a Friday appointment for me to pick up my records in Duluth. When I arrived in Duluth I was not expected and my records were not available. In the same meeting I paid $10, hand wrote a records request, and was assured my records would be mailed to me. About a month later, without receiving my records I drove back to Duluth to personally request my records again. The very nice Duluth receptionist called Marietta and claimed they would put me on their "Priority" list but it would still take about six weeks. Three months after that I call and speak directly to Tracy in the records department. Tracy understood urgency and haste without me getting in this much detail. Her assistance and diligence alleviated my frustration. Without Tracy my review would be very different. I nominate her for "Employee of the Month" or for some other kudos. They are good chiropractors...

He also pressents clearly and cheerfully. His radio shows and website loaded with help for almost any issue we have faced. He is a blessing to us. Negative experience: I'll be honest....I came to Dr. Joe's office on a whim. Initially, I spoke with Dr. Joe who made me feel confident that they would be a help to me nationally AND chiropractic. I paid the hundreds of dollars to have them do X-Rays in house, and came back for a follow up. After explaining the x-rays, the person I was seeing had some lady come in that cared so little about my health and nutrition...and obviously ONLY cared about getting me to pay them well over $1000 up front before scheduling any further appointments. This specific person was so out to get money that when I showed apprehension towards paying the full amount for appointments instead of paying by appointment they tried offering me finance options through a 3rd party. I told her that I'd rather take a day or two to think it over before spending that much money up front, and just call them back in a few days when I decide how to proceed and she responded with a vicious attitude, instead saying that she'll just walk me out and I can go. I understand that businesses need revenue to operate, however NO business especially in the medical industry should make their patients / customers feel forced into making expensive financial decisions on the spot and respond with an attitude when they arent handed a credit card. Bear in mind this is all after already having paid them HUNDREDS just to sit down and have options presented. I've never heard of a chiropractor charging the full cost of appointments up front before, the fact that they want your money before you even come in for the 20+ visits sounds extremely sketchy, especially considering the industry standard is to pay for services at the time they're rendered.

Negative experience: Dude is a whack-job. He’s always selling something. You don’t need his over-the-counter pills and tablets. Do you want an easy way to know when something he’s selling is junk? He tells you it does something but doesn’t say how it does it. If it were legit, he could explain how it worked instead of only saying what it does. I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised that this is what you get with a pseudo-doctor that spends more time on the radio convincing you you’re sick or in need of HIS vitamins than in a clinical setting.

Fantastic experience: Life Changing!!! I acquired some spinal injuries in my teens and 20's that have always flared up from time to time. Now in my late 50's these flare-ups are quite severe but Dr. Joe's staff consistently reverses the effects. I thank God for the good people at Health Plus because I see bent up older people in really tragic condition that rely on conventional medicines. Conventional strategies give temporary relief but ultimately accelerate the worsening of the condition. Oh, and the radio shows... Negative experience: Ive heard dr joe on the radio for a few years and really expected a positive experience. I went in due to heart burn. Ive had it for 10 years and no longer wanted to depend on acid blockers or ppi's. After i saw one of the drs i was told (with no xray) i had a hiatal hernia and would need some adjustments and maybe later on if i wanted to i could do a nutrition plan. Ok no problem. After he poked me in the stomach a little bit he told me i definatly have a hiatal hernia... (Come to find out that wasnt true) so he did his so called adjustment. Which didnt seem like he did anything but hey these guys know what they are doing right?.. So I come back for a 2nd visit and was asked how the adjustment did. I told them it didnt do anything for me and i still had bad heart burn Well they didnt seem to like my answer very much. I was then told i must do this 300 and some dollar nutrition plan and continue these adjustments for 70 bucks every time i came in and they told me this over and over with in about 20 minutes. I told them i really didnt have the money to spend (or waste) on a nutrition plan. Im in damn good shape i know how i need to eat. Well i figured id get one more adjustment while i was there hoping it would do something for me the 2nd time. I paid my 70 dollars and was then told i should seek chiropracric care elseware. Obviously if you don't wanna play their little game they dont want your money. So i did my own research on my gerd/heartburn. I found it was likely i simply had low stomach acid so i picked up some betaine hcl and 2 weeks later im just about heart burn free. It gets better every single day. Thanks dr joe and his staff for helping me shove 140 bucks down the toilet. A 10 dollar bottle of hcl is all i needed.

Fantastic experience: In December 2016 I fell and broke my right shoulder. The recovery was long and painful. After receiving physical therapy, then soft tissue massage, and chiropractic care for a year, I still had a lingering pain in the muscle in my upper arm. Dr. Gail Wanyo has been adjusting me at Health Plus Wellness. She is absolutely phenomenal. She asked if I heard about rewinding my muscle. I said no. So she asked proceeded to show me how to unwind my muscle. I had IMMEDIATE relief from that pain I had experienced for over a year. I was amazed and thankful. Now two weeks later, still NO PAIN. Love Dr. Gail and would recommend her highly!!!!!

Fantastic experience: I am 67 years old and have been going to chiropractors since 1967 when my family was involved in a terrible car accident where we were rear-ended by two other vehicles. I woke the next morning with severe whiplash and was unable to get out of bed. I was in excruciating pain, and at that time the only thing our family doctor did was to place hot compresses on my back. It didn’t help. Lucky, for me, I had an aunt who believed in chiropractic care and sent me to her chiropractor. As far as I’m concerned, he saved my life. I was a long distance runner. I was able to run again after follow up treatments and PT-type exercises, which the chiropractor had me do. I became a firm believer in chiropractic care, and because of that experience, I have taken that lesson to everything in my life that I own. For instance, if you want your car to stay in good shape, you need to regularly maintain it. Our bodies, which are way more important than our cars, also need regular maintenance. Eating right, exercise and sensible maintenance, which for me is seeing a chiropractor on a regular basis, not when things go wrong which is what most of my friends do in spite of what I tell them. I have lived and worked in many cities over the years, and I have always made it my business to seek out chiropractors, wherever I am for what I call “my regular sensible maintenance plan". And needless to say, I have seen a lot of chiropractors, both good and not so good over the years. I can tell when someone has, what I call, “the hands”, an expression that I use, which is to say that the chiropractor, not only can give a good adjustment, but is also very intuitive, and truly understands the body, especially the one that s/he is working on. Dr. Joe Esposito is one of those very special chiropractors. I met Dr. Joe back in 1995 when I was working in Atlanta, and I immediately knew that he had “the hands”, and he, like me, was also a Vegan and believed in good nutrition. Man-oh-man, I felt like I had just won the lottery. I’m in Atlanta a lot and I always go to the Health Plus Wellness Center to see Dr. Joe when I am in town. And lucky for me, Dr. Joe has expanded his practice and now has other great chiropractors working with him. One of them, Dr. Gail is a true blessing. She is amazing and like Dr. Joe, has ’the hands”, and truly understands the body. Now, I have two great chiropractors to see when I’m in Atlanta, and I am also looking forward to working with the other chiropractors in the office. Fantastic experience: The show and web site are outstanding. The doctor does say to contact the office by phone or e-mail. The site only allows me to e-mail If I book an appointment. I prefer to ask my question first.

Fantastic experience: I can't begin to tell you how awesome this place is. They have helped me so much in battle with cancer. I have received so much help and knowledge with my diet, with my spinal hygene, and overall health. Dr. Joe and his team are top notch and a great value for anyone and all family's! I am very grateful for this group! Thank you.

Positive experience: I am not in the USA any more, but enjoy his videos. He definitely knows his stuff in theory and I don't know if his practice helps people or not. But he shares his knowledge so I don't see anything wrong with that. Buying his products is optional. He is a businessman and workaholic obviously. Just a little hyper.

Negative experience: Went to Dr Joe's Duluth office for a stomach adjustment for suspected Hiatal Hernia condition. Met an Incredibly rude receptionist. Waited for a whole hour for a two minutes adjustment. $100 bucks. During the procedures, I heard a "click noise" when the Doc press down on my stomach, followed by sharp pain. I believe I have a crack rib, Walking around in pain still today...
