Negative experience: We spent over $5,000 for a year of treatment to improve a condition for one of our children. In return, we received extensive, PhD level lectures, an impossible to manage pillbox, and barely perceptible improvement. Further, my child was kicked off our short term health insurance due to their labs' improper coding of our child's medical test. When I brought this to the attention of their staff, I was rudely lectured because "Hope for Healing never contacts an insurance company". Maybe so friend, but your subcontractors do. The first rule of business is your subcontractors represent YOU. :) Nonetheless, Dr. Jenny V. is a gem. She is empathetic, takes her practice seriously, and was dismayed that we did not see results. Hope for Healing might work for you. But for us, I would rather have set $5,000 ablaze. At least we would have kept our insurance.

Fantastic experience: Dr. K saved my life. She is Board certified and fully vested in homeopathic healing along with western medicine. You cant find a better Dr. or better staff that understands Covid Long, Pands and Panda and Mold, Mycotoxin illness, Endotoxins, actinomycetes and CIRS. Fantastic experience: We started seeing Dr. Kruppstadt in April 2024 for our 12 y/o autistic son who is minimally verbal and very energetic. The office visit was very thorough in their evaluation and the DNA testing has been a blessing as we are now treating him at a genetic level as opposed to a superficial level. We started him on some of the supplements that were recommended and have seen drastic improvements. These include sleeping through most nights and we recently went to my niece’s high school graduation where we were able to sit through the entire ceremony. Prior to this he would have to stay in the van with his dad. He is not as hyperactive. We thank God that we found Dr. Kruppstadt and are looking forward to working with her and the team in the care of our son and what more improvements are to come.

Negative experience: I came here to have my genetics testing done. * little background I’ve sufferd from anxiety and panic attacks, learning disabilities etc since childhood.. I was 48 when I learned about this clinic. I thought by getting my genetics would help answer some of my concerns.. it opened a whole other anxious world I didn’t know existed. I later had my son’s (13) genetics done bc of all the “negative “ findings on my testing. I thought maybe they can see him and help him better since he’s younger (he’s on the spectrum and has ADHD and Dyslexia) well that would’ve been a whole other package since he is a child! $$$$ Once I got the results back it was very overwhelming to say the least. The nutritionist who gives the results seems very knowledgeable but again I’m by myself not realizing the huge amount of information I was about to review with her. It’s now been over a year and I’m still going over the results and recommendations trying to put the puzzle together. I did call several times to ask questions to put my thoughts to ease but still had to pay $149 for 15 mins zoom. *side note..you pay for the test blood work ($1k +) and multiple genetics testing so there is a lot to be discovered (especially the older you are) You buy all that and have only 2 follow up visits with the nutritionist. I think this clinic should throw in a couple of counseling sessions so that you can get some help with your psych too. ‍♀️ I’ve seriously gotten worse after seeing this clinic bc I was told EVERYTHING is about genetics and nothing was mentioned about help other than the supplements. I was told “you will have strange migraines” and sure enough I am having them daily!! Even my family, especially my husband have been sick of hearing about all of this! I do want to say all the $$$ I spent on supplements really helped after the first 8-9 months. However, you have to buy them every month so it gets very expensive very quickly!! So I am only taking what I can afford which isn’t much. Things could’ve been handled better.

Fantastic experience: We came to Dr. K at the end of last year because we suspected that my son was suffering from PANDAS. Most "regular" pediatricians don't even think it's real so we didn't get much help on that end. Dr. K was so thorough and looked at my son's health as a whole, not just the acute symptoms he was having. I finally felt heard, validated, and supported. I have taken my son to so many doctors over the years...she has been the only one who believed and connected everything I was seeing, listened to my son, and sought to find answers. And answers she found! We have been addressing the various issues (more complicated than just PANDAS) and my son still has a long way to go, BUT he is doing so much better!!! It's truly a miracle. I have a running list of all the ways he has improved because I can't keep track in my mind anymore. For once in the last several years I am crying tears of joy instead of tears of desperation and sadness. We are very hopeful and optimistic that he will be fully healed. Fantastic experience: I love this practice! It’s been an answer to prayers. Even though it is still early on in my daughters treatment, it has been the I information and guidance I have been looking for. I’ve done all research and things that I think would benefit or “hurt” my daughter concerning her condition and it’s exhausting! Thankful for a team to come alongside me and give me concrete information based off of her genetic make up! What will give her body the best chance to function optimally or hinder it from doing so! This journey is emotional and honestly costly due to alternative medicine not being something our “healthcare” system is willing to acknowledge and cover, but I am hopeful that it will very much be worth it and I hope to eventually have my whole family established at this practice!

Fantastic experience: I have only high praises for Dr. K and her entire office staff. I could not ask for a more caring and attentive pediatrician for my child. I searched for the best pediatrician in Texas and was willing to travel to Austin, Dallas etc. I was elated to find Dr. K was local and was more than happy to travel an hour to her office in The Woodlands. Dr. K is THE BEST and is worth the drive! Dr. K always does a thorough physical exam and like a good detective she looks for any physical clues indicating health issues. She will truly get to the root of any health issue! She can use both prescriptions and/or supplements. She does her best to prescribe only what you need and nothing more. She has high quality supplements in office so there’s no searching. She explains exactly why she is recommending something and how it will help. She offers genetic testing so she can pinpoint exactly what support you need, no guessing! She is brilliant and stays on top of current research. Yes, it can cost more than your average pediatrician but Dr. K’s care is much better than average and I am willing to pay for the best for my child’s care. We save money elsewhere so we can put our child’s health as a priority. There is no substitute for good health. And with Dr. K’s help our child is thriving and happy!! I highly recommend Dr.K and her office. I know she’s just opened a centrally located office with a trusted colleague as another option and if Dr. K approves it, I trust it will also be excellent!

Fantastic experience: 5 months ago I was exhausted, physically and mentally, my body hurt, I had chronic headaches, inability to focus, and was getting steroid shots in my hips every 6 months. I researched on line for a way to heal my body naturally because traditional medicine wasn’t helping. That’s when I found Hope for Healing. Fantastic experience: If you have run into dead end with traditional medicine, I HIGHLY recommend that you see Dr. Brigitte Monrose, or any of the other highly qualified providers at Hope for Healing. Dr. Brigitte will focus on getting to the root cause of your issue as opposed to just treating the symptoms. And more importantly, Dr. Brigitte has a genuine interest in the recovery of your health. The service she provides is very personalized, and you’re not just another number. Her and her staff have been a godsend on my path to better health.

Fantastic experience: I love the IV therapy here. It was my first time getting an Iv drip and it was totally worth it.

Negative experience: Am I getting answers? Yes I’m getting more than what I anticipated. But this is not affordable for those who have been chronically ill for 20 plus years. I was unable to work for 3 years due to illness. In addition to having little money saved and no current income yet, this is overwhelming and stressful. That’s why I’m not able to give it 5 stars. Especially learning with some of these results, in my case, my body cannot absorb certain nutrients, therefore I will need IV therapy weekly. I spent $1,000 for the pack of 5 IV therapy. In addition to the reviews of results, depending on how long the appointment is that can be incredibly expensive. As for the supplements, after the first consultation you’re given a list of instructions for supplements that are recommended. Regardless that in my paperwork I’m intolerant/allergic to soy, I’m given a supplement with soy in it. I should of asked to see the supplement with the ingredients but because of my chronic brain fog, I can’t think straight and have trouble functioning. This is discouraging when I’m recommended new supplements with this ingredient or others that I have intolerance/sensitivities to. I make sure to look them up beforehand now. I wish this was looked over beforehand before being recommended to me. Yes these supplements have clean ingredients. But for me and I’m sure for others, some of these are not clean. Thankfully, alternatives are provided after explaining why I’m unable to take a supplement. It’s upsetting enough that I’m newly diagnosed with Lyme disease and several co-infections. Not feeling as supported with this journey to healing is stressful. The doctors and staff are knowledgeable, responsive and kind. No need to worry about that. Make sure you have tons of money saved with the financial commitment. For reference, I’ve already spent four thousand. I had saved eight thousand. And I haven’t started the detox yet for Lyme. I’m preparing my body so it’s able to handle the detox. Update on my treatment— I wasn’t properly informed that a medication was an alternative to a medication. The way it was perceived by me and my mom was that it was written in my instructions I needed both for one of my treatments. I understand doctors make mistakes but this was incredibly damaging for me. I had both medications in my system and ended up in the ER. Not only did I suffer, but I lost down to 110 pounds over night. Which is still traumatizing. That is too thin on me. I can’t handle taking a pill now, or place food in my mouth while eating without wanting to throw it up. It’s been a week since this incident has happened. I have more of a terrible appetite. This began more so when I struggled with one of the medications. The side effects from that medication was also intolerable. In addition, the combination with the too many daily pills was too much. And I often complained it was too many pills before this happened. Which means I have to start over the majority of my treatment which is incredibly upsetting. I didn’t receive an apology, and I didn’t feel heard about my concerns. This truly is having to be alone with no true support when things go horribly wrong with the designated doctor. And you’re left to pick up the pieces. For future reference, please hire doctors who have been through the treatment process themselves. This would highly encourage patients. No one truly understands the trauma, helplessness, sadness, etc. that we experience unless they have been in our shoes.

Fantastic experience: Dr. K has been seeing our family for 5 years. We started with one of our kids who had seen multiple specialists and we came to her when we had no answers. Dr. Kruppstadt was the first doctor that actually took the time to listen to our concerns. She meticulously checks every physical, biological, and infectious aspect that could be contributing to our child’s symptoms. We continue to see improvements in our child. She has become our family’s lead physician. We travel several hours to see her. She always treats us as if we were the most important case on her docket. She helps us coordinate with specialists and has even built quite a network of specialists that support her philosophy of finding root causes. She is the most caring and compassionate doctor we have met and always makes a point to address mental/emotional wellbeing that can often be overlooked when dealing with physical ailments. We have learned a lot about our family’s health on this journey and we feel that we are in the best hands. Dr. K is always up to date with best practices and always expanding her knowledge. Her office is lovely and runs like a well-oiled machine. All of her team is wonderful! As a physician’s daughter, I have grown up around a plethora of doctors and have seen my fair share of practices and I can say that Dr. K and her practice are golden!

Fantastic experience: Hope for Healing is the best doctors office I have ever encountered. Dr. K and her entire staff are great, caring, attentive people. They have the best bedside manner that I have ever experienced. We initially brought our child to see Dr. K and we were so impressed by this practice that my husband and I decided to switch to Hope for Healing as well. Dr. K is extremely knowledgeable, very kind and caring to the point of leaving no stone unturned. Cristina Mims is also great, very kind. Dr. Monrose is also kind and truly desires to help you be well. They all work tirelessly to help our family be in good health. My child is now thriving and healthy. My husband and I are also now on our way to better health. We will continue to make the hour drive here because it is WELL WORTH IT! Yes, it can cost more than a typical dr’s office but that is only because Hope for Healing gets to the root of health issues! It’s not just putting a band aid or a quick fix pill. Admittedly I have had to adjust to that because I’ve been to doctors all my life who take a $30 co pay but then don’t care, just want to process you out and hand you a prescription. So yes, my bill may be higher here BUT we get REAL RESULTS here so it’s well worth our money. I cannot recommend Dr.K and her practice enough. Fantastic experience: I gave birth to my son at The Addice Birth Center in December. My husband and I were worried about finding a good pediatrician who respected our own values and also advised in with a more natural and holistic approach. We did an interview with Toni while I was pregnant and had great first impressions of the office and staff. We decided after our LO was born that we would try out Hope for Healing for his newborn appointments. As we’ve been going more and more we have fallen in love with this practice and so has our LO. He loves Toni and having a nurse that your baby loves is so important! Glad we have found Hope for Healing and definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a more natural/holistic pediatrician!

Negative experience: This review is for the pediatric service only. I’d give it 0 stars if I could, but the 1 star is for the gorgeous facility with free parking, the free water/juice/ lollipops, and the easy-to-use online portal. Otherwise, the general “vibe” of this place is pretentious and cold. If you’re looking for a warm and friendly doctor’s office do NOT go here! I’m writing this for other parents who are considering this office for their child & I would say FIND ANOTHER HOLISTIC PEDIATRICIAN because you will not be treated with the respect and care that you deserve. Not to mention, you probably won’t be able to meet Dr. Paula Kruppstadt until much later since she’s booked up months in advance. This establishment is clearly about business and referrals, and not giving your child the best care and attention they should receive. I also just received an email notifying us that there is a WAITLIST for new patients! So just another thing to consider is that you’d be waiting in a long queue to get your first appointment. Our family had just moved to the Houston area recently, and we were looking for holistic pediatricians in our area. We found Hope for Healing and it looked promising based on the reviews so we scheduled our son's first pediatric appointment for his 18month well visit in October 2021. Since they were not able to see him until mid-January 2022 (yes you read that...3 MONTHS later!) he was 21 months when he got his first visit. I figured since it was a holistic establishment there was just more volume here since there are not as many options elsewhere, but to wait 3 months for a first time visit is really ridiculous in my opinion. But, we didn’t mind the wait since we expected top notch care at this facility based on the reviews, and we figured since we’re paying so much that the care would most likely be excellent: The first time appointment costs $250. As a price comparison our pediatrician in Austin was only $175 cash in Barton Creek/Lakeway area. His visit was done by a nurse named Cristina. Long story short, since I have a word limit on this review, it was a very traumatic experience & left with what a lot of unanswered questions and a terrible taste in our mouth. We will not be going back & I have found another pediatrician who has given us a second opinion on the diagnosis given by this nurse.

Fantastic experience: We have nothing but great things to say about Hope for Healing. From our experience with our new baby girl, my sons both 4 & 5, and myself. We've all struggled with gut issues, caused by 9 years of being overseas, and parasites that I would've never even thought of, coupled with excessive mold issues that have been addressed and dealt with. Since working with Dr. Brigitte Monrose, my migraines have stopped naturally (my neurologist had put me on all kinds of sumatriptans etc, that apparently I didn't need and that caused all kinds of side effects), and I feel better than I've ever felt after having 3 children in 5 years time. She is very straight forward, to the point, and really takes the time to listen before recommending any type of supplement or medication. This is my first time going to a functional medicine doctor and I couldn't imagine bringing my family anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: I will start this review, and likely end this review, by saying that Dr. Kruppstadt is the most caring doctor - ever. Her bedside manner would be hard to beat and she is absolutely BRILLIANT! She takes all of that incredible knowledge and she studies each and every patient’s medical history and symptoms, before and after each visit, and she tailors an optimal plan for each one. Her passion, commitment and enthusiasm for helping others to heal is evident in every single consult that we have had with her. She truly creates an environment that brings about a sense of hope and comfort to parents of medically complex children and to adults with chronic illness (my daughter and I are both patients). There are mothers in my neighborhood and mothers in my health groups (hours and states away) that reach out to me asking about her and wanting to hear about my daughter’s progress. I always say you will never regret having Dr. K on your team. We have seen so many specialists: speech pathologists, neurologists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, gastroenterologists, immunologists, geneticists, etc. and we always leave with valuable information, but Dr. Kruppstadt is the only one who brings all of those moving parts together and helps to make sense of it all. I feel so fortunate that we have such a gem of a doctor. And so I will end this review the same way that I started it, Dr. Kruppstadt is the most caring doctor - ever!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Hope for Healing for two years now. I have thyroid problems. Two years ago I was feeling awful, no energy even though I was taking thyroid medicine. After years of looking for answers for his behavior, it was Dr. K who discovered our son has PANDAS He’s doing so much better now with less anxiety and fewer behavior outbursts. No one else looked into the root cause until we took him to Dr. K. Instead he was just prescribed multiple medications that changed his personality and caused worsening meltdowns. It just wasn’t healthy. We take all of our kids to her office now. Strongly recommend Hope for Healing if you want to optimize your child’s health and set them up for success in the future.

Fantastic experience: Let's see. Nine doctors on my husband's side and four on my end missed the mold toxicity diagnosis... half of these being supposed allergists and immunologists. Three years later and we are all recovering and much better. If you're looking for just a pill to change your mystery lifestyle problem, keep looking. You're going to have to evaluate all areas of your life in functional medicine so it's definitely not for everyone. Still can't get over how many people went to how many dozens of years of school just to shrug off my inability to breathe as "sudden adult onset asthma" despite passing all the breathing tests.

Our son was given many incorrect diagnosis and none of them seemed to care about my son. They didn’t figure out why he was acting the way he was and just wanted to medicate! Dr Kruppstadt really truly cares for her patients. She took my son in as if he was hers. She took the time to listen, run tests, and never dismissed us. She worked hard to get to the root of what was wrong with our son and correctly diagnosed him with pandas/pans. He is a success story. She is so knowledgeable! He is a completely happy perfect little boy because of her. She really did save his life when we were losing hope.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Kruppstadt sees patients who are therapeutic failures from traditional medicine. She sees the toughest cases. Many people see her as a "case of last resort". This was the case of my wife. Dr. Kruppstadt helped my wife greatly. Is Dr. Kruppstadt cheap ? No. But what price is your health worth ? Only you can answer this question.

Fantastic experience: I suffered from traumatic brain injury since I was a toddler, over 50 years ago. The older I became the worse the symptoms. I was loosing my memory with daily migraines. I suffered from uncontrollable anger and many other symptoms that were getting worse with each passing year. Dr. Kruppstadt is the only physician who recognized my symptoms for what they were and helped bring back my life. The protocol she suggested has decreased the brain inflammation. I am amazed at the return of my memory and enjoyment of life. I highly recommend her for any health condition. She looks outside the box to find the cure. The staff at Hope for Healing are helpful, knowledgeable and show great compassion. I highly recommend Hope for Healing.

Negative experience: Not impressed with Hope for Healing for more than one reason or Dr. Brigitte Monrose at all. After spending over $2K in only 2 months it became very apparent that Dr Monrose cared more about making a buck than improving my daughter’s health. We were asked to set up a telemedicine appt right away b/c the Dr wanted to go over some recent labs. She charged us $72 for the 10 min video appt and the only thing she communicated was that Rx dose needed to be increased. Yet, when the Dr then sold us another Med that caused severe vomiting she must have been too busy because we never heard back from her. Dr Monrose also never warned us of this side effect when she sold us the meds. Save your money and move on to a more competent Dr!

I began getting sick when I was 30yrs old and traditional doctors kept trying to fix symptoms. I finally reached out to Dr. Kruppstadt at 41 when she was having success with my 4yr old Son. Fantastic experience: dr kruppstadt has been AMAZING for my family. she has helped my son with medical problems that have put him in the hospital repeatedly that no other doctor could figure out (and we had been to a LONG list of docs including some other out of network doctors who cost $$$.) his quality of life has improved dramatically, along with that of our entire family. i will be grateful to her forever for what she has done for us. highly recommend... IF you are willing to do the work!! If you have complex medical issues, its not going to be a quick or easy fix and you are going to have to work at it. this practice will support you if you give the information and the time they need to do it.

Negative experience: We had been waiting for months for a review with this doctor. We were called yesterday. I spent 30 minutes on the phone, to then be told that we would not be seeing a doctor, but a nurse practitioner and this would cost us $319. I think NP’s are wonderful, but our specific concern was in line with this doctors (apparent) philosophy. However, the person we spoke to could not answer our questions and was misleading from the onset.

Negative experience: New Patient portal- called to make appointment and there was one less then a week away but couldn't be confirmed until I set up the portal information; well after the plethora of information and questions were submitted called back and now next available is over 4 weeks away; (when i'll be out of town) I'm not upset their busy, just disappointed about the waste of time and feeling like the bait and switch took place. I would have went somewhere else from the beginning had I been told. The Patent+ Doctor partnership they talk about should start with honest scheduling.

Fantastic experience: Dr. K's approach to solving underlying health problems is so refreshing. Instead of guessing what the issue is based just on symptoms, she uses data from the latest tests to determine the best steps forward. Dr. K takes a multi-faceted approach to healing the entire body using all the tools in her arsenal. We feel so blessed to have found her!

Negative experience: We were hopeful after our first appointment; however, were soon disappointed with the follow up appointments, overwhelming expenses, and no healing for our son. I have since found another naturopathic doctor, who is half the cost, honors my time with her, and truly has us on the path to healing! My son made more progress in 4 weeks with our new doctor than he did in the 5 months at Dr. K’s office. Dr. k put my son on 15+ supplements (which were not cheap) and charged us $120 for an extra 15 minutes because she ran over our hour long appointment and never told us the results to my son’s lab! We left that appointment $750 later and will not go back.

Fantastic experience: I'm so happy my husband and I found Dr. Kruppstadt and all of the other wonderful people that work in her office. For so long, my husband and I felt like the pediatrician she was going to would just prescribe medication and move on to the next child. All the while, my daughter never got better. We had to be our own health advocates and research to get to the root of the problem. With both full time jobs this can be overwhelming. I am so so happy that we now go to Dr. Kruppstadt because she knows all of the research. She bases her opinions on research and not what is being pushed by insurance companies. My daughter is the healthiest she has ever been and I can't thank this office enough. My whole family goes here now and I have even referred some friends, some of which drive from Katy to see her. I would highly recommend Dr. Kruppstadt for anyone looking for individual based medicine.

Fantastic experience: I feel compelled to leave a review after (with great surprise) finding a couple of negative ones. I have been to the office of Dr.K. multiple times and have never once experienced anything but great care and professionalism from the doctor herself as well as her staff. Dr. K is a breath of fresh air in a world where no other doctor would spend so much time with you and carefully listen to what's bothering you. She genuinely tries to get to the root of the problem and help you. The treatment involves various high quality supplements and in rare cases pharmaceuticals ( when absolutely needed). Patients have a unique opportunity to log into their patient portal and review very detailed notes from the meeting, reach out to the doctor with the question or review/reorder their supplements. I feel very lucky to have found Dr. Kruppstadt and highly recommend her to anyone struggling to understand their health issue and not finding the answers at regular doctors' offices.

Negative experience: Probably the worst bedside manner I have ever experienced with any physician. She literally set a timer and when the timer went off she said don’t worry we have a few more minutes..., lol what?! Meanwhile didn’t once put her hands on my daughter, examine her or warn us that we were on a timer. I could have easily gone by myself. I have never experienced any doctor doing something like this. She seemed knowledgeable but I will never go back. I would say absolutely not worth the money. The whole time I felt like I was being car salesed.. with all of the extras, supliments, and tests they want you to get. And then of course book and appointment for more money to get them reviewed. Which if I felt like it we had gotten the appointment we paid for, the money would not have been a problem. Overall thumbs down. There are plenty of excellent doctors out there.. who will take their time with you and your children. She isn’t one of them.

Negative experience: Have you spend WAY more money than you should. Cancel/move schedule day before/day of(Mira). Contradictory information. Poor office competence. On a more positive note, few staff members seem like they actually do care. Just my experience.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Kruppstadt and her staff are amazing! I am so thankful to have found her. I took my 10 year old son in for help with ADD/ADHD issues. We ordered the genetic testing through her office which helped to figure out what might be causing his focus issues. Within a few weeks of her recommended protocol, he is showing incredible improvements! His grades have come up from D's and F's to B's and C's. His teacher has commented that his behavior is greatly improved as well. We are very hopeful that he will continue to improve as we move into this next phase of the protocol.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I (ages 67 and 70) are very active, health conscious folks and a year ago we made major changes in our diet regimen resulting in considerable health benefits. We began seeing Dr. Kruppstadt several months ago to check out our micro nutrients and genomics and to do some "tweaking" in our nutrition. Dr. Kruppstadt is not your usual doc, and spends a lot of time explaining health issues to you in terms any layperson can understand. Her holistic nutritionist, Mira, is also a wealth of info. The office staff is friendly and encouraging. How wonderful to find such a great functional medicine practice! As a retired OB nurse I think moms of new babies should also consider this practice!
