Negative experience: I went into an interview with the doctor. It went great. It went phenomenal. The doctor told me I had the job. He informed me that the office manager was on vacation and wouldn’t be back until the following Wednesday. And that she would call me after she got back to do shadowing and training. He even went as far as to ask me if I had other interviews or other job opportunities and when I told him no, he was like good great You don’t need to look at other job opportunities because you have this job. In the interview I had to explain am I a single mama 4 and all the stuff so he knew how important this job was to me. My credentials matched my résumé matched. It wasn’t anything like that. The interview went right. Now I understand if somebody came along after me that had better credentials and more experience than me. But most employers tell their applicants that we are still interviewing hold tight. veral times since I was a teen, and I have never come across a business where they go as far as pretty much giving you the job and have you wait for the job to fill it with somebody else. And not give you the courtesy of letting you know. So I would think twice before you look at this (Clinic).
We appreciate all feedback, but it's important to correct the misinformation in this review to protect the integrity of our clinic and our hiring process.
While we understand the candidate's frustration, there appears to have been a serious misunderstanding. In over 17 years of operating this clinic, we have never offered a job on the spot during an initial interview. Our process has always involved multiple steps: interviews, potential shadowing (often with more than one candidate), and a 30-day trial period before any official offer of employment is made. Enthusiastic conversation should never be mistaken for a formal offer.
We also want to be clear that no candidate is ever told to stop looking for other opportunities—that would be highly inappropriate and unrealistic given how thorough our evaluation process is.
While the interview may have felt “phenomenal” from the candidate’s perspective, the decision to publicly post a review misrepresenting the process—rather than seeking clarification—comes across as unprofessional and unfair to our team.

Fantastic experience: The clinic was very welcoming and sooo friendly. The staff here, from the front desk, to the exam room was personable, engaged, and attentive. Fair pricing, and accommodating business hours. I'm glad I found this clinic. I would definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: I can attest that this clinic is top notch. I took my mother (cancer pateint and arthritis. In addition at the time my mother was in terrible hip pain. Doctors said only solution was hip replacement) for maintenance and father( early dementia ) IV Cord Stem Blood cells. Treatment was successful for both. In fact. Three days later we went to Disney. Both parents were energetic- my mom’s hip pain went away within 1 day. I knew if stem cell therapy because this was my mother’s cancer (stage 3 uterus cancer with clear cell carcinoma )treatment after chemo, radiation and surgery were not successful. After her surgery, 3 new tumors appeared and this is when she decided to give up. This is when I started researching alternative medicine and found a clinic in Mexico that provided the service. The new cells ATE the dead cancerous cells (the tumors). No surgery, chemo radiation. So being back for one year - we wanted to do maintenance and also get help for her hip. This is when I research clinics in houston and found this doctor. I have sense referred 5 people. This year, I’ve already sent 2 who are going this coming month and I myself am looking to do the procedure. The 5 I have sent, all have good reports. I definitely recommend the IV cord stem cell service. I have not tried the others.

Fantastic experience: I have been with HMWC for over 10 years. (I only have to go for a year or so after every baby ). Unfortunately, for them, when they get the weight off this time, I’m done CAUSE I AINT GETTING FAT & PREGNANT AGAIN!!! I am getting older though … may start an anti aging routine…so yea, jk they have me for at least another 20 years!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Kirk and his entire staff are incredible in so many ways. I have never felt so informed, heard, taken care of, fixed and attended to. There is no other doctors office in my experience that brings all these qualities to the table. Everyone is so kind and warm. And they are always available to talk and hear you out. I have also never felt better physically and mentally. Dr Kirk really listened to my complaints and my medical history and truly gave me so much insight I have never been told. Negative experience: DO NOT GO HERE !!! I went in this past Saturday and signed up for the program had a bad feeling from the beginning I felt rushed as if their only intention was to get my money fast and release me they clearly told me that the cost would be $70 and it INCLUDED 4 shots of B12 and the PILLS and when I went to the pharmacy to pick up the prescription they told me I would have to pay for it I just called now and they told me another story that the $70 will only cover consultation and the shots that the prescription it’s extra DO NOT GO HERE !! SCAMMERS!! I repeat AVOID THIS PLACE !!!

We never aim to make our patients feel rushed or that they're part of a fast-paced financial transaction. We've been accused of many things, but never of being "fast." We prefer the term "efficient." We are here to provide quality medical service, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention.
Regarding the cost breakdown, we're sorry for the misunderstanding. Our $70 package includes the consultation and four B12 shots, as explained during your visit. The comedic twist here is that we'd love to include the medication in our package if we could, but alas, we are not a pharmacy.
To clarify, medical offices in Texas, like us, aren't allowed to dispense medications. According to the Texas Pharmacy Act, only licensed pharmacies and pharmacists may dispense prescription medications. This is to ensure the highest level of safety and accuracy in medication distribution. If we were to start distributing medications, we might end up with a side gig we're not quite qualified for - and trust me, nobody wants their doctor moonlighting as a pharmacist!
In Texas, as per the law, medical offices are not permitted to operate as retail pharmacies. This means that we cannot dispense medications in our offices, and medications must be obtained from a licensed pharmacy. This is laid out in the Texas Occupations Code, Chapter 158, which states: "This section does not permit a physician to operate a retail pharmacy without complying with Chapter 5581】. Therefore, the cost of prescription medications is separate from the services provided by our office and is usually handled directly through the pharmacy.

Negative experience: Horrible Experience! First I went for weight lose program on a Saturday. Excited to start on the medicine. They never called i the prescription like she said she was good. .I had to wait until Monday. My next appointment I had scheduled on Tuesday March 21@ 3pm for the Lipo injection shots to dissolve fat. I was going to spend $600 on the sites. I had Their last appointment for the day. I took off work half a day and missed money so that I could make my appointment. I drove from Woodlands to their location. I arrived 10 minutes early. I was told that I did not have an appointment for that day . That my appointment was for the following Tuesday , which I knew was incorrect. Needless to say I was very upset that I drove all this way and took off work to be told this. They were very rude. The doctor that was going to perform the injection, stood up and said I don’t have anything scheduled and walked off. No one was apologetic about my travel. Mind you I have an email appointment REMINDER that my appointment was for Tuesday March 21 @ 3 pm. Then they changed the story and said they ran out of the injection med and would not get any in until a few day. Well if that was the case then someone should of called me in advance and tell me they ran out and let’s reschedule, instead of trying to tell me I was not scheduled for that day !!!!! When I knew I was!!! So I called back later the next day to speak with the doctor about this and how can they make it right. Well he had his receptionist call me back and tell me that he refuse to service me and cancelled the appointment that she had made once they got the medicine in!!!!! They are a joke !!! Very rude!!! And inconsiderate!!! I would not send my worst enemy there! Then i was told to be careful of their product because it is too cheap !! Something. Isn’t right if you not near market value !!!

Regarding your medication, we use e-script to send prescriptions to pharmacies, and we receive verification when they are sent and accepted by the pharmacy. In some cases, pharmacies request that we resend the prescription even though it has been verified and received. We assure you that the prescription was properly handled on our end.
We take pride in the fact that we have been in business for 15 years without increasing our prices, even during this period of inflation. Our goal is to minimize the financial burden on our patients, and we have worked diligently to streamline our operations. We provided you with a free one-month sample of Wegovy, a brand-name medication. If you have concerns about the authenticity of this medication, please contact Novo Nordisk directly at 888-809-3942.
Regarding your appointment scheduling, your original appointment was on a Tuesday. However, you contacted us multiple times to reschedule your appointment, including changing it from Friday back to Tuesday. Unfortunately, during the last rescheduling, an employee mistakenly booked you for an incorrect Tuesday.
We order medications on a daily basis and prefer to have them compounded on demand, which means we do not keep a large inventory for procedures. Due to the scheduling error, we did not have your medication in stock (as it was the incorrect Tuesday) when you arrived for your appointment. We apologize for this error and promptly rescheduled your appointment.
We understand that you called our office the following day and demanded a discount or compensation for the inconvenience, threatening to go to the media if we did not comply. Please note that your account was already marked for a discount due to the inconvenience before you made this call. We do not support extortionary tactics, and as a result, we decided to cancel your appointment and discharge you as a patient.

We don't charge a patient who doesn't get service, so I'm unsure what you are referring to.
We do not have a message or voicemail from you either. We have 7 methods of contact, phone, email, text, web chat, a patient portal, Facebook, Instagram, and a second text line as well. All those platforms connect you to a manager, but phone calls go through reception. I don't see a single attempt of contact to any of those platforms. Would you mind informing me which platform you tried besides a phone call?
A skin brightening treatment takes time to be effective and is dependent on your participation in the treatment. If you are unhappy with your skin brightening, please email us, as skin brightening is NOT a 1 and done treatment!! I would send an email to the address on our website, or text, or chat or use one of the multiple platforms if you have any questions. We are here to help our patients.

Negative experience: Update: I have called, emailed and filed a BBB complaint and still don't have a copy of a paper stating that I would be charge $70 for a telemedicine appointment. So for a company to have 7 means of communication, and have not responded to me. I never cancelled any appointments, so the company's reply does not make sense. Scammers. I was told that it wasn't going to be a charge for a telemedicine visit. They called after the visit and said it was an $70 charge. They took the money out of my account without permission. $70 for the nurse practitioner to tell me to research, over the counter pills. They refused to send over a paper that, they claimed u sign stating the $70 charge. They refused to pick up to my phone calls or emails. The pills they sale are sugar pills. They do not work. They are the company pills, so that why the pushed them on the customers.
All medical visits have charges. You have a card on file and have signed our cancellation policy and given permission to be charged. We have multiple medications and multiple programs, prescriptions and OTC medicaitons. We will also be happy to provide you with a copy of the cancellation policy in which you signed.
We have 7 methods of contact. Phone, Email, Text, Website Chat, Facebook Chat, Instagram Chat, and Fax. If there is an issue you can use any of the 7 methods to reach us, your claim that we have refused to contact you is without merit.
We have a cancellation policy in effect to make sure patients are seen in a timely manner. We have not increased prices in 15 years, and that is also one purpose of our cancellation policy, to prevent the need to increase our prices.
Not showing up or using one of the 7 methods of contact is the only time you will be charged. If you pickup the phone when we call you after a "no show" and either reschedule or cancel, the charge is waived the first time. If you leave a message, chat, email, text or anything of the sorts we would not charge you. If for some ODD reason out system did not pickup the message, email or phone call you are stating was left and you have a screen shot of the text, email, phone call, then you would be credited.
Please don't make claims of "scammers" when NO attempt to contact us was actually made.

Fantastic experience: Initially I was a bit nervous about coming to a small clinic like this, but the girl I talked to on the phone when I scheduled my appointment was super nice and didn't get annoyed at my thousand questions. Right when I walked in the girl at the front was greeting me by my name, she was very good and disarming you but still professional. The place itself is very cute and relaxing, definitely good if you don't like the cold shrillness of the hospital. Def will be coming back very soon. Also the guy doctor is really cute.
Fantastic experience: I’m so scared of needles but the staff is so nice and accommodating. They were very gentle and even gave me a snack while I was getting my IV.

Fantastic experience: Went here for the first time a couple of days ago! Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. They explained benefits of different shots/boosters and IV medications to help me decide what would benefit me most. I was kind of nervous to have an iv started , since I have terrible veins, but my nurse Chelsea got it first try! She really made the whole experience! She came back and checked on me while I was receiving the medication. Made sure I was comfortable and I was out in a timely manner. Office was clean, wasn’t a long wait time, staff interacted with the other clients in a professional manner. Would definitely come again.
Fantastic experience: This place is absolutely amazing! The customer service is wonderful and they make you SKINAYYYY. Chelsea is super great and takes great care of you as well.
Negative experience: I've tried to give this place multiple tries. The first time I pulled up to a place that looked like an old unkept house but I went inside anyway and after I was checked in I was escorted to a room in the back of this house where the the old leather reclining chairs were were ripped and the rest of the room looked just as unkept as the outside. Let's just say it did not look like the cleanest place and the chairs had residue from other people but I thought maybe it was just that day. Can somebody please at least wipe the chairs down after people use them? I mean we are in a time of covid and you are sticking needles in people. I was on time for my appointment but I waited over 30 minutes to be seen. The nurse that I finally saw that day seemed agitated but after I made small talk with her to ease her, she calmed down and was nice. I rebooked trying to give them another chance and this time it looked like someone at least wiped the chairs. However, a "tech" came in to talk to me about my drip and not a nurse. I asked about his credentials and he said "I'm not a nurse but I'm trained, do you know what drip you need?" I said I would rather have a nurse especially dealing with needles in my veins. I waited another 40 minutes and was never seen and left. The receptionist said she apologized on my way out but they had electrical problems with their computer up front. My thoughts were not my problem but maybe I will give them one more try. Well, the 3rd attempt did not go any better after being there 1 hour and 40 minutes I still did not get the drip that I wanted. Now the excuse from the receptionist was, "well you know how it is at a doctor's office sometimes we have multiple appointments and we go over and the drips can be tricky".... Doctor's office? Yeah right.....Excuse me lady, if you all can't keep up with appointments don't book them and if IV drips are too tricky for your office, don't offer them!
I'm sorry about your experience and opinion about our office, we have been in business for 16 years and take pride in our customer service. We do still follow strict COVID precautions, and only one person per room. All our rooms are wiped down after each patient, "residue" can sometimes be left from the wipes and the conditioner we use between each patient. All our employee's are IV certified, there may have been miscommunication there during your discussion. There is never a wait more than 5 minutes before being roomed, and at most another few minutes before you are consulted. We are bound to keep your specific information private, and I would advise you to address your concern with management; we are here 6 days a week, we have email, chat, text, and a phone number to discuss anything you feel is relevant. Fantastic experience: I have been suffering from fibromyalgia for 5 years and nothing was helping. My friend recommended Houston Medical Wellness Clinic. The consultation was completely free! I have been very impressed with the knowledgable and caring staff, they are always prepared and ready to go! I REALLY like this clinic because I am not a fan of hospitals and needles but this clinic and staff are like visiting a good friend, you just sit back and put your feet up! After my first treatment I felt reborn, I don't know what I'd do without them!
Fantastic experience: This place is incredible, every time I go in which is usually for an IV drip, the staff is prompt with my treatment and I walk out feeling great. The nurses are extremely friendly and Kirk is great at explaining the different supplements that go into my IV. If you are feeling sick , sluggish or hungover, this is the place to go!!!
Negative experience: My wife went to this facility. After six consecutive appointments, they still couldn’t remember her name. They didn’t care about her progress or lack there of. The nurses were useless. She was told she needed an appointment with the nurse to review test results but the nurse walked in, handed her papers and said there is a number at the top if she has any questions she can call the number. After spending over $1,000 you’d think you’d get better service. Do not recommend this place. If you’re looking for support them go elsewhere.
Hi Johnny, I'm sorry about your wife's experience. I'm not sure what happened when your wife was here, but I can assure you that's not our protocol!
We provide extensive online portal, chat, and text support 24/7 for our clients. There is a secure text line, community text, website chat, emails are also answered 24/7, and we are here 6 days a week. Any messages left through those ports are answered immediately. Our response time on Google and text is 5mins, and less than 30 on all other platforms.

Fantastic experience: My 5 stars go to the Doctors and nurse practitioners there. They are fully knowledgeable, super friendly and take the time to listen to you. The price is better than most. Only issue is the staff and the regular nurses that sit behind the desks, take your blood, give you shots and check you out - they need more training on customer service.
Positive experience: Great plans, but month after month they forget to call in my prescription. It’s very frustrating because it is not a quick delivery.
I'm sorry Tina, but we have records of all prescription being called in, they are ALWAYS called in the same day you had your visit, each time!
We also record the name of the pharmacist and technicians who take the prescription order and questions from us. We are always quick to send in any scripts for our patients; however, we can not control what happens at the pharmacies.
If there is or was an issue I ask you to please contact the office and discuss it with a manager, they WILL give you the pharmacist name, date and time your script was called in; it is very frustrating for us when patients think we haven't done our part.
Please contact me at your convenience to discuss this further and I can also provide you the names of whom was handling your script at the pharmacy each time.
Negative experience: Met with nutritionist and paid to have a meal plan made for me. I never received the meal plan. I've called one or more times a week for over a month and never got an answer to why I didnt get it. I asked for a refund of the money since it was obvious they were not going to give me the meal plan. After 2 weeks of calling, I still have not received the refund. It's always another excuse on why it hasn't been processed. This place is unprofessional. They even hung up on me once when I gave my name.

Negative experience: I gave my card info to the scammer who answered the phone under the scope of securing my appointment and she had my card cloned and was getting swipe happy out there in East Houston at T's Mini Mart and King Grocery but my reputable bank shut it off after the second transaction. I definitely will not be a client here.

Fantastic experience: The staff at this facility are very helpful. They care for the patients and their wellbeing and don’t pills just for a buck. I had a great experience with Nicci, who helped me with issues that weren’t related to weight loss but more so to heavy sleeping in the morning. Even though it may not be easy to find for some, the whole experience with the staff and doctors was worth the drive.

Negative experience: Apparently my previous comment did not show. After a 2 hour wait and an expectation to see your suggested physician i believe it more evident that this review needs to be published. It wasn't till after this waiting period that i found out that Dr. Jennifer Lableu was no longer affiliated with this place. She was highly recommended by a friend and in the waiting room I was told by another patient she was not there. There should be no reason to be waiting in a room for two hours for a physician that is no longer at this establishment. I feel that it is important for a patient to remain with their same attending physician and feel that this is a very manipulative action in order to make numbers and not have the well-being of the patient in mind . My friends and I seem to think the customer service is very lacking at this establishment . As I listened in the waiting room from other patient who was also waiting to see Jennifer, they felt awkward speaking to some man who was behind the computer . He seemed awkward and skeevy. Come to find out the guy behind the computer said his name was Dr. kirk, and after doing research, he is not .....NOT a doctor . He has a report by the state medical board to cease all actions of being called a doctor. STAY AWAY FROM THIS LIEING AND MANIPULATING PLACE!!!!
Negative experience: Stay away from Houston Medical & Wellness. Everything about my experience from 2 yrs ago to today has been horrible. Their office is like someone else's review said on here, it is like a glorified infomercial At Best. No actual Doctor is involved with your care here, you are on your own. And there is a really weird aura when you walk in the door. Plus the entire appt & experience is just off; cold,creepy, un-informed. Don't go here! There are much better places to go in Houston!

Fantastic experience: I've been going here for around four years and recommend it frequently to people. The staff is so nice and they're always super fast (which is really helpful when I schedule my appointment on my hour lunch break) but they also take the time to answer questions if you have them. They really care about what your goals are and how they can help you achieve them. The location is also really convenient and the prices are extremely reasonable. I also like that they offer a variety of services - there's literally something there for everyone.

Negative experience: What a waste of time. When Dr LeBleu was there she gave me her time and and educated on the best me I could be. I always waited FOREVER to get to see the dr. I only put up with it to see her. Once I found out she was gone, I was gone. Horrible service! Once I saw the owner, he said she was too busy, he isn't even a doctor and never even told me that I found out later. Bad business practice. He advertised as a dr but he isn't licensed! Disappointed in service and the lies!

Fantastic experience: I have been using the services of similar facilities for years now, yet recently moved into the state and it was hard to find a place in which I could continue the regiment established while living in California. Houston has no shortage of health clinics. It almost seems like new ones open every week, and the same amount of them close as fast. It was reassuring to hear from the Doc that they have been around for YEARS. This is the 4th clinic I try in the city and by far the most satisfactory. Clean office, professional staff, a healthy flow of patients, overall a very legitimate place. I was very surprised with the arrange of treatments available. I am staying with them for the foreseeable future.
Negative experience: I’ve been going here for about a year for weight loss program the wait if horrible and the parking was a nightmare but My visit with Jennifer was worth it. She is so kind and not judge mental, Jennifer doesn’t make me rush through the visit and makes sure I completely understand everything before she’s finished with our visit. The last time I was there and made an appointment with her when I arrived I was treared by someone else :( I didn’t like having to take such long drive to be treated by someone else. Besides that I had to wait in a waiting room for about 45min- 1 hrs. It was aweful she walked in and out of the office a couple times and didn’t really talk to me about a meal plan. So yea that would be my last time going there.
Negative experience: STAY AWAY!!! This place is a joke and not a funny one! Was a patient for over a year. On several occasions the wait time was extremely long (up to 4 1/2 hours). Unfortunately that’s not the worst of it. Once the WRONG medication was sent to the pharmacy (didn’t realize until after I had paid for it and gotten back home). Twice I was seen by “Dr. Kurt”, who come to find out is NOT a doctor, but the owner of the clinic. He even went as far as to change my medication. I was shocked when I found out he wasn’t even a PA. It’s quite clear that this place is just another pill mill. Bottom line is it’s all about the money and NOT about the patients health and well-being.

Fantastic experience: I've been coming here since 2013 and haven't had a single complaint yet. Kurt is incredibly knowledgeable and uses a very in-depth treatment that is custom tailored to your unique issues. The other great thing about this place is the extensive amount of services they provide. Far more than most Wellness clinics I've visited. Lastly, the staff are all very professional, friendly, and great about communicating with the customers. I've had some fairly unique scheduling issues with me coming in and out of state and this clinic has always delivered and made everything run smooth. Can't honestly say enough good things about this place. Highly recommend. And I believe the consults are free so you really have nothing to lose.

Negative experience: I'm feeling quite uncomfortable about a phone call I received from Houston Medical Wellness. First of all I have never received a call asking me to book my next appointment. I always call when I have my appointment book in front of me. Due to me living far away from the clinic there have been a couple of occasions when I was running a few minutes late due to traffic. As we discussed a time and date for my appointment I asked if they could OK it with Jennifer for me to be about 10 minutes late. The phone went silent. At this point I asked if I would be seeing Jennifer and the answer was yes. A hesitant yes. Now I'm wondering what's going on. Come to find out I was not told the truth. That makes me very uncomfortable. There is absolutely no reason to be dishonest. Now I'm really uncomfortable. It takes a long time to gain trust and only a few minutes to lose it. This is not good business. I would like some answers. I want to know where Jennifer is. How hard is it to say she is no longer with us. Give your clients the truth. Trust me it will benefit everyone in the end. It saddens me to have to write this review. Think about it!
Negative experience: They have a bunch of idiots working for them, and are only about the all mighty dollar... Please save your time and money and go somewhere that actually cares about its patients... There are too many Wellness Clinics that offer better rates and service for you to waste your time and money with them.
Fantastic experience: I've been going there on /off about an year and each pop in was very overwhelmed due to the FACT it's very rare to find a very caring and family like oriented staff that makes it worth coming - sharing the experience with others. Hands down they're ALL awesome!!
Fantastic experience: I love Jennifer! She takes her time and answers all your questions. She doesn't make you feel rushed but she is also considerate of your time. The office staff is pleasant as well. I have never had to sit and wait for a long period of time either. The longest amount of time I spent waiting was about ten minutes and they were very busy that day. I would highly recommend this clinic.

Fantastic experience: I love it here! Small intimate office with great caring staff! Dr. Jennifer (I think that's her name) is so nice, funny, and caring! She makes you feel comfortable and you can ask as many questions as you want. I even had the male doctor there and he is the same way! Everyone is friendly and helpful! If you go for a Saturday appointment be on time and ready, it's their busiest day and the have a lot of appointments and walk ins. My last appointment there was a bit of a wait to be seen. I was very understanding because I work in the dentistry field so I know appointments can get behind. The staff continued to apologize for the wait and even the doctors. My journey here has been great my body hit a plateau with weight loss and they helped get me back on track. Within just the first month I lost close to 20 pounds and felt great. I'm excited to continue my journey with this office. Thank you guys for being amazing!
Fantastic experience: I was referred to this clinic by a friend. My initial impression was that it was cute, quaint, and the staff were polite. I waited about 30 minutes past my appointment time but had expected that on a Saturday, appointment or not and was okay with it. The doctor has a lovely spirit and makes you feel very comfortable. During a 4-5 month time frame of medical assistance, healthy eating, and exercise I lost about 50 lbs. I will admit I haven't been here in several months and have gained a few (maybe 5) back but recommend them to everyone for that little extra assistance in the journey to a better you. I plan to schedule an appointment for next week. Know that I have tried a lot of weight loss plans and programs including my current one and know that the doctor is not the miracle worker it's a mind set thing but it doesn't hurt that she is super cool and motivating, everyone needs a cheerleader. I suggest this doctor if you are serious and need a little extra help along the way. I thank you guys over at Houston Medical Wellness, I will be seeing you soon.
Fantastic experience: The doctor has a great "bed side manner " for lack of better words. Doctors, their offices, & sfaff make me nervous. She simply talked to me about a subject that I was very familiar with & calmed me down. She did her magic without me knowing! After I was all normal I realized what she did. They can't teach that in school. Give her a try. She's the best.
Fantastic experience: I was deciding which Medical Wellness/Weight Loss Clinic to go to, and I found this one on 5910 Fairdale. I had a hard time finding the place, but the staff there guided me right there. I have read several reviews about this place, and I find no FAULT in this place. I went in on a Saturday, (it was a little busy), but everything went smoothly. The staff was very very professional, and friendly. The doctor whom wrote my prescription, had a migraine headache, and still manage to smile and explain everything to me. What an amazing person. If you want a friendly staff, and serious about losing weight, I suggest this place, WHAT A WAY TO GO ! Keep up the good work to the staff at 5910 Fairdale Street. Positive experience: Last time i went i had a good experience, maybe about 4 months ago, i went for hcg injections everyone was really nice and informative my only concerns as a patient was that they told me i could only go to piney point which is a hassle for me bc i live way in the southeast area and i come to this clinic bc it has been good for me. And also they ran out of books on what to eat and things like that and said they would send it to my email and never did. I even called a few times and nothing. I did loose weight but ifelt like i would of lost more if they would of gave me a hcg booklet on what to do.
Negative experience: I went to this place 2months ago. Left my credit card on file just to find out that yesterday 8/3/16 they charged my card without my authorization. Called the clinic and receptionist said that I was called to confirm the appointment when asked what number they called she gave me the number only to find out they called an old number of mine. I explained to her that I no longer have that number and her response to me was she could not do anything about it. I requested to speak to a manager her excuse was that he was out on a business trip. I asked for his name she said John and did not know his last name. This is NOT GOOD!!! 70.00 is money that I can not get back because of their mistake!!!!

Fantastic experience: This place is absolutely amazing. The service is exceptional and the facility is immaculate. This is my second time doing the Adipex regimen, the first time I went to a different clinic and lost 60lbs in 2010. After my last child, I refused to go back to the clinic I'd used previously,because it was not well kept. I randomly chose Houston Wellness Clinic and it was the best decision I could have made. The doctors and ALL of the staff are remarkably patient and extremely pleasant to work with. Additionally, the massage service is AWEsome and it doesn't cost a fortune!!! All around great place.

I have tried everything from Advocare, Quick Weight Loss, over the counter diet pills and NOTHING worked!!! I just wasted my money with no results, but this clinic has giving me my life back! Negative experience: Wow. So I visited this establishment a few months back b/c a friend suggested it. From the moment I pulled up, I was uncomfortable. The nurse (can't remember if she was a NP or a RN) was outside fiddling in her new BMW and just watched me in my car as I gathered my belongings to go in. Weird, but whatever. The inside is quaint. Clean. Cute. My main concern as a medical professional was that they had no idea what the hell they were talking about! I wish I would have recorded the "nurses" responses to my medically questions. Without a doubt, laughably. I scared her off unintentionally because she NEVER came back into the room! Too add, the tech or whatever she called herself did NOT know or understand what I was asking as I used medical jargon. I can't remember what the conversation consisted of and I want to be truthful so I will just say that. I was thinking, "O no ma'am, you will NOT touch me and you don't even know what subcutaneous means!" All in all, it just felt like some illegal joint around the way. Not no mention they force you to use PINEY POINT pharmacy. WHY? Is that not illegal? I wasted my time and $$ here but you live and learn, right? I would never suggest this place to my patients!!!! Just be very careful and do your research ; ) Edited* to concur with the lady below me! Definitely didn't have a clue on how to explain what I was asking! I expected a knowledgeable, clear and concise response...Never happened. I never divulged my profession either. Medical assistants, that's what they call themselves? They need a quick review or more educated MA's.

I'm not sure of your background but we have several nurses and physicians as patients, over 10k patients. I believe if at this point if "we didn't know what we were talking about" then we would be out of business. -- I am sorry if it seemed that way during your visit. You came to us for a reason, which leads me to believe that whatever the rules / consult / directions we gave you were, they did not sync with what you thought; but that never worked before right? Otherwise you wouldn't be here. Weight management requires a multi-factorial approach; there is NO 1 exact answer to solve it, I wish there was. It all depends on your diet, your exercise, hormones, stress, water intake, thyroid etc. --- I personally wouldn't ask important medical questions to a tech, phlebotomist, or medical assistant save it for the doctor. We hand you a prescription and you can take it to any pharmacy of your desire, I'm not sure why there was a misunderstanding there. -- If you ever have any issues you could always call / email the office and speak to our Dr, that's always the best first step for questions or resolution of any issue.
Negative experience: The doctor was very nice office staff so disorganized they kept asking me what I wanted and not really a consultation. The could not find veins didn't describe what each service does or how it works with the body. No consultation on how to use hcg or the diet felt rushed like cattle farm. They forgot to give me an injection that I paid for and the girl in front told me to go to piney point pharmacy to pick up hcg and when I got there they knew nothing about it. Omg never have I been to a cliMic and felt so much coinfusion. I cancelled the $600 I paid immediately and told the lady in front to reimburse my money totally don't feel they know what they're doing. not to mention they can't draw blood on small veins. Very very disappointed!
I'm very sorry about your experience Suzette. We strive to have stellar customer service. I know your consultation was over 48 minutes long, and questions you asked from Botox, Lipo-Dissolve, Lipo-Release, hCG and appetite suppressants were explained in detail including ingredients. We even spoke about different machines on the market. We also advised you to your best course of action to achieve your results in detail, on top of recommending machines which we don't even carry (for YOUR best interest, and why one was superior to others). Once we agreed on an action plan, our Dr reviewed it with you and continued on to the next step.. I'm sorry if the 48 minute consult felt rushed, if you would like to review anything including the course of action you agreed to, you are more than welcome to come back in for a FREE consult -- I recall there were no more questions after that consult. We also provided you with a STEP by STEP detailed booklet for your program and enrolled you in our Daily Recipe system.
When you are dehydrated your vascularity will not be as pronounced, a Medical Assistant may have stated that, and I'm sorry if her comment upset you; regardless, blood was drawn with just 1 stick. I believe blood can't be drawn without at least 1 stick, I will check on this for you and see if we can order a machine to avoid needles when drawing blood.
Our Medical Assistant also started to demonstrate how to use needles and draw from vials, but was quickly dismissed. She understood you already knew how to do the injections when she was trying to demonstrate; I take it as a miscommunication and apologize for her not understanding you.
Your injection was administered before you left the room and before you paid; our staff is extensively trained on administration of injections, I'm happy you did not feel it. Piney Point does not receive scripts from us until 4-5pm, as our office is very busy and we are completely digital (no paper scripts). This is told to ever patient on checkout, again if that was missed and you were not told, I'm very sorry. I will speak to our clinical coordinator and have it printed on our receipts and packets too, in attempts to avoid any confusion.
Again, I do apologize if you felt like cattle, if drawing blood with a needle is unacceptable, if some details in the consult were not to your satisfaction and for someone not letting you know scripts are called after all patients are seen. I will do my best to remedy these concerns, so no one else will have to endure any disappointment.
Fantastic experience: I have gone to this the past 2 years. once a year for 2 months. If you want to loose weight I recommend purchasing the lipo-release. If you try to do it with B12 you won't see the real results.
Negative experience: My daughter and I went there last Friday. The front office people were nice, the doctor was good. The nurse they have does not know how to draw blood, she did it so many times and was almost ready to give up wherein she said my daughter has to go back the following week to have her blood drawn. Finally, she made one more attempt and did it. ALSO, they gave my daughter the syringe and told her to go to the pharmacy to get the prescription. I told them that my daughter has never given herself a shot. They told her just to give herself one in her stomach or thigh. THEY DID NOT SHOW MY DAUGHTER HOW. MY DAUGHTER HAD A HARD TIME TAKING THE BUBBLES OUT OF THE SYRINGE. FOR THE PRICE THAT I PAID, THEY SHOULD MAKE SURE THAT THEIR PATIENT KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING BEFORE THEY SEND THEM HOME.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to HMWC for over 3 years. I'm very active and love not only the supplement line that Dr. Kirk Merrikh manufactures but also the skincare line he carries. In order to main a healthy fit curvy shape, I also go to HMWC every Saturday for a lipo-release / B-12 shot before I hit the gym. It's made a world of difference! Being in my early 30s, maintaining your skin and body is key to staying, feeling and looking your best during age and environmental changes!
