Negative experience: Multiple clinic locations are closed but they still ask patients to come in. Very bad experience, it seems that this clinic does not give a damn what the patients feel. Zero star!

Negative experience: Terrible customer service. The staff did not provide my name to security downstairs so I was stuck downstairs for 10 minutes until I went through the automated phone system to reach a person who could send my name to security. When I went upstairs, they told me my appointment was booked incorrectly and so it would be a shortened visit. However, I literally clicked set appointment and received an appointment confirmation. I did not book the appointment incorrectly. She said I was considered a new patient because I had not seen that particular doctor. The website tells you to select New Patient only if we are new to the practice and I was not. A nurse then in a rude manner added that because I was late, my shortened appointment would be even shorter. I informed I arrived on time but was stuck in the lobby because Reside Health failed to provide my name to security. She then told me I will have only 10 minutes with the doctor. It was the same nurse who took my vitals and I felt like she was just angry at me. After the rushed encounter with the doctor, the receptionist collected my co-pay and continued to tell me my appointment was incorrectly made and to call them next time if I wasn't sure. However, there was no reason for me to think anything was wrong with my appointment. I had received text and email confirmation. This was my second horrible customer experience with them. Not at all compassionate. Needless to say I will not be renewing my membership.

Fantastic experience: Enjoyed my annual physical with Dr. Rachel Cohen. The office is pleasant and easy to get to, Dr. Cohen is thorough, kind and calm. She does not rush the exam.

Negative experience: They told me the morning of my appointment that they have decided to no longer take my insurance, forcing me to scramble to make another appointment with a different doctor. I think it's pretty vile to jettison your patients because you want to make more money. For-profit medicine is a cancer on our society, and this practice is part of the problem.

Negative experience: Truly the most frustrating attempted doctor’s appointment I have ever experienced. I wanted to see Dr. Rachel Cohen because she diagnosed a benign tumor for me when no other doctor would back when she was at Mount Sinai. On the way to the doctor, running 10 minutes late and try to call. No human is reachable. Get there, name is not at the front desk. Again, try to reach human with no success. Finally reach human, who says my name will be added. Do not hear back, name has not been added yet. Talk to another human, who thankfully is able to get my name added (20 minutes after I arrive). Go up, greeted by an NP who does not make eye contact with me a single time and who tells me coldly that my name was indeed added and the next appointment with my doctor is in a month. It is truly terrifying to think that someone like this is supposed to be taking care of your health. And it’s actually amazing how incompetently the Reside system has been set up.

Fantastic experience: Truly the best possible health care experience. It was so easy to schedule an appointment ASAP without waiting weeks. Dr. Mermash is so wonderful. I love that the appointment isn't rushed and the clinic is really comfortable. The whole experience is easy and absolutely worthwhile. I wish I had joined sooner.

Negative experience: Not worth the price of membership or your time. Unnecessarily difficult to cancel membership after moving out of the city and it is extremely challenging to get them to respond to emails or phone calls and provide your medical records. Horrible customer service

Negative experience: My experience with the doctors/nurses here was great. However, the billing department has been incredibly frustrating. I was charged an exorbitant amount for a regular annual physical, and have not been able to get in touch with the billing department despite many attempts to do so.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had great experience here at reside so far!! I saw Dr. Sherin Mermash for my annual and I will definitely stick with her as a PCP from here on. Everyone at the office from the front desk to the nurses to the doctor were very attentive and knowledgeable and kind. Highly recommend :)

Positive experience: I’m really conflicted on this practice because Dr. Cohen is amazing and brilliant. One of the best physicians I’ve ever seen. The billing department however is horrendous. I’ve had non-stop issues since establishing as a patient in July of 2023. It’s gotten to the point that I’m unsure if I can continue coming here. Most recently they sent us a bill from a date of service back in OCTOBER 2023 for my husband (it’s currently Jan 2024), for $700. On this bill they deducted our in network insurance coverage from the claimed amount… and then tried to bill the remainder back to us. I’ve reached out with a copy of the insurances EOB showing that we only owed $25 that has already been paid, but I’m sure it’ll take me months to get into contact with anyone from billing (which I’ve never actually successfully done- wish me luck).

Negative experience: The doctor was nice enough. However, I am having a terrible experience with this practice. Here's my issues: 1. I made the appointment through Zocdoc. Nowhere on Zocdoc or through communications prior to the appointment did they say that you had to pay a $150 yearly membership fee. They claimed they left a voicemail about it, but I never received that voicemail. They had a 30 day free trial so I still went to my physical using that. 2. I filled out the pre-screen questionnaire and signed the necessary forms before the appointment, and it charged me a copay. When I was checking out, the front desk told me that I didn't have to pay a copay. When I said I already paid, they said they would refund me. 3. They just sent me a bill of almost $500 even though they said multiple times my insurance covered it. Never did they say I was out of network or would have to pay. The only way to dispute the bill is through email, and they are going to auto-charge my card. I wish they had somebody that I could talk to over the phone to resolve this. I would not recommend this place.

Negative experience: This is a scam. Even during business hours, you can only contact a call center, not an actual doctor's office. Getting an appointment or a subscription renewed is practically impossible. No one from there ever called me back, not once. Complete waste of $150.

Negative experience: Love the staff, and all of their offices are clean. No complains pertaining to the actual visit. However, I’ve done two annual exams here and both times received a bill even though I am an in-network patient. This seems to be an issue a lot of patients experience, and frankly for a subscription based practice with an annual fee of $150 you’d think they’d have the capacity and responsiveness to resolve it. I’ve been trying to get in touch with their billing department for over a month now. My annual was June 30th, and I am yet to receive a response from them despite many emails and portal messages. The bill was reduced after I brought it to their attention, but I should not owe anything for a visit that doesn’t even require a copay. I’d love to keep seeing my doctor at this practice, but for an annual visit of $150 + the back & forth with all their staff and departments after being billed twice with no reassurance, apology or response for over a month…. This feels like a scam

Negative experience: Good idea, but poor execution. Seems that the office is understaffed, as it is difficult to find appointment times, messages about medical question through their app go unanswered, blood test results are never followed up on/reviewed. I provided feedback directly to the management, yet nothing changed. I think once they sort out the kinks of starting up such an operationally complex business then this could be a good concierge medicine service. Until then, would recommend One Medical, which is much more on top of things. Giving two stars because the people who work here are generally nice and open to feedback.

Negative experience: I am in network for them and I was charged $535 for an annual physical / bloodwork. Nobody gave me any warning and I was slapped with this insane bill when all I did was have a normal check-up with bloodwork. DO NOT GO HERE. EDIT : in response to below , I did reach out to your billing team and nobody ever answered me. I had to contact the office directly via the app messenger to get any response/resolve. There was never an apology, a reason for why it happened, and certainly not an attempt to make me feel comfortable going again and entrusting you.

Fantastic experience: I’m so glad that I found Reside Health! Whenever I’ve had a timely health issue, I’ve been able to see Dr. Mermash the next day. The experience is super efficient, today I was in and out in 15 minutes. Dr. Mermash is incredibly caring and knowledgeable, always making me feel more comfortable after we meet. She has taken personal care in my cases, following up and offering virtual check ins after my initial visits, as needed. Definitely recommend Dr. Mermash and the whole Reside team.

Positive experience: The staff and drs here are great. This review is more related to my experience getting to the office for my appointment. There was a long line at the front desk so I was glad I came 15 minutes before my appointment (otherwise I would have been late). The man at the front desk printed me a slip with some random name and no information about what floor the office was on. Make sure you check ahead of time where you're going, you get there on time, and note that this is a subscription practice ($150 annually).

Fantastic experience: I was skeptical about using all the services and paying the yearly fee, but it was worth it. My first visit was in November, my yearly was swift and all my tests run without hesitation. Albeit I'm young, Dr. Mermash worked with me to talk about the most pressing issues at my age. Now, I had a flare-up of some kind of sore throat, I messaged in on the Reside app and was seen the next day. In the midst of appointments, Dr. Mermash and her team fit me in and even realized that maybe I was dealing with something odd. I wasn't rushed around, everyone kept their bedside manner and treated me with respect. They were timely, and I was back to work before my lunch ended. The Doctor didn't even rush to conclusions because she took so many tests to be proactive and all came out negative. It's a nice feeling to not be disregarded with one common illness. I had cultures taken just to double-check what it may be and was given an overall prescription to assist with pain management. Most Doctors I know would not do that - I would have left feeling unheard and irresponsibly dealt with. Reside is just different. If you are wondering if you should pay the fees or invest in this kind of expensive health care - I say do it. It's what you think going to the Doctor should be like. Amazing service, wonderful people, and a real Doctor who asks even the most uncomfortable questions to make sure you get the best care possible.
