Fantastic experience: I started seeing Dr. Carolyn when I was pregnant and my baby girl was breech. Dr. Carolyn did an eval and helped determine that my pelvis was crooked, making it harder for baby to get into position properly. After a few adjustments my baby girl flipped! I continued following-up to receive support for my pelvis, hips, and back through the end of my pregnancy and postpartum. 10/10 recommend this practice to anyone, esp pregnant and postpartum mamas w/Dr. Carolyn!

Fantastic experience: Very thorough, knowledgable and patient focused. There goal is not to turn you into a long-term patient but to get you better. I have seen many chiros over the years and they are easily the best I have ever seen.

Negative experience: I called to find out how much it would cost if I did self-pay and to enquire about techniques used in the office, and the receptionist couldn't give me a straight answer. Red flag. Update: Seeing the business's response to my review does not inspire more confidence to me. They only told me an average price and techniques after I pushed for it. I still think it's a red flag if a business can't give you exact pricing before you come in. Hope this helps inspire better business practices

Positive experience: I called today around 2pm to ask about insurance I had and if it was in network and the receptionist was super short with me. However, upon seeing my initial review, the owner called to apologize to say there was a misunderstanding which is why I'm bumping up my rating. First impressions are important.

Fantastic experience: I'm an Ideal Protein client and have "shopped" at Peak Performance Chiropratic for several years. I love the selection and their willingness to let me try things to see if I like them. This program allowed me to lose nearly 40 lbs 4 years ago and keep it off! I don't need the foods daily but when I find myself gaining a few lbs or eating too much sugar/carbs I just visit their store. Very knowledgable and helpful, and never any judgement. Fantastic experience: I started developing vertigo over two years ago, and it has steadily gotten worse to the point where it was affecting my daily life. On the suggestion of a coworker, I decided to try a chiropractor. Dr. Carolyn identified the type of vertigo I had in the first ten minutes and gave me a set of exercises to help. I've been amazed at the results-not one episode of vertigo since I first went to see her! My PCP had been prescribing different medications, elimination diets, all kinds of things that weren't working. In addition, she addressed the back issues I've been having for the past twenty years in just a few sessions. It's been so long since I've been pain free that I had no idea how bad it had gotten. She was upfront with each procedure she wanted to try, why she wanted to try it, and what my insurance covered. I'd recommend Peak Performance to everyone.

Fantastic experience: Let me tell you a few things about this couple. They are AMAZING!!! We used to live in Franklin and last year moved to Seattle, WA. Whenever we come to knoxville we detour to their place for an adjustment and other wonderful services to feel brand new again. I cannot explain how great it has been to have them in our lives. I have not found anyone else with their level of precision in their techniques. I not only have neck and back pain but recently knee pain as well. Dr Yates took a look and knew exactly what it was. Not even my knee but my quad. Gave me some exercises and I’m back up and running again within 2 weeks without any follow ups or PT. He saved me a ton of time and money doing to any other Dr that would have run numerous tests and put me through PT. I would recommend them to anyone looking to be pain free and stay aligned. They don’t just crack and walk away. They both are excellent in manipulating only the areas needed and not injure any other parts.

I have a long-standing back injury that they help me stretch, strengthen, and repair. My husband had had wear and tear from distance running at an elite level, and their multi-modal work helped him recover from a long-time Achilles injury to get back in shape that he’s been trying to achieve for almost a decade, but for the injuries. Fantastic experience: I took my girlfriend to Jeff and Carolyn when her back went out. She had just moved to Tennessee from Florida and was in the car for about 16 hours. She had also packed up her entire house and then unpacked it all within a week. The day her back went out she couldn't even get out of bed or move from side to side without being in severe pain. After getting her to Peak Performance she improved very quickly. They took great care of her and made her feel completely comfortable in their office. Before we left they gave her a few stretches to do at home so that she could continue to improve. She also went back a few times after the initial visit to get a few adjustments. We'd highly recommend Peak Performance. They are very professional and care about their clients. It was her first time using a chiropractor and she could not have been more grateful to them for the relief they provided.

I only gave 4 stars because I have only been once and don't yet know if I will feel relief from my pain, but I'm hoping! I had a family member that had been being treated for a problem with his lower back for almost two years with little progress. Dr. Jeff diagnosed him treated him once to get him out of pain and then sent him directly to get an xray to confirm his and Dr. Carolyn's suspicions of a congenital defect. They were correct. Their treatment philosophies are based on solid science and have the needs of the patient in mind first. Franklin is lucky to have them. I would recommend them to everyone, as I do on daily basis.

Fantastic experience: Dr Jeff is the first chiropractor to correctly diagnose my spine/muscle problem. The machine he used was painless as well as effective in stretching out my back. He drew a picture of the problem area and described in layman's language what I can do to help fix it. He's really good; I've already recommended him to others.

Fantastic experience: I went for an back adjustment and I came away with a painless knee. I got my much needed back adjustment and I mentioned that I was almost limping with a knee. Dr Jeff confirmed that there was not permanent damage to my knee and that it was just inflamed from over extension. He recommended using dry needle on the knee, which I only felt a mild discomfort from the use. My knee felt "funny" over the next few hours, and by the next morning the pain was 90 percent gone! Thanks Dr Jeff!

Fantastic experience: Before going to see Dr. Jeff, I had never been to a chiropractor. I also never thought I would ever go to one because I had always seen orthopedic surgeons and physical therapists after having surgery for scoliosis 17 years ago. Going to see him was one of the best decisions I have ever made. He took the time to explain what was causing my pain, began treating me immediately, and mapped out a plan of action to make me better. His goal is to make me feel better, not to schedule office visits that are unnecessary. My pain is so much better now, and I owe it all to him!

Fantastic experience: I started the year with severe neck, back and arm pain. I could not hardly get out of bed at the age of 45. I also had lower calf issues always resulting in muscle pulls and tears. I love to play soccer but sat out all of 2013 because of calf issue. Oh, I am also the type that thinks chiropractic is some form of voodoo doctor. I got referral from local YMCA fitness instructor to go to Peak Performance about the calf and back. 6 months to a year later, I finally visited around February of this year. I went two days a week initially without immediate results. After about 3 weeks, neck/back/arm pain started to go away. I reduced visits to once a week and pain turned into discomfort only. I am going every 6 weeks to 8 weeks now or as needed if anything flares up. The work on the calf has been very good as well. It has only flared up once but have not pulled it like before I started my visits. I played soccer in three different leagues now without a single calf injury. I highly recommend these guys. They are very nice and the voodoo is still working for me.

Fantastic experience: I went there with my wife, and we loved the experience. I've been to 5 chiropractors in my life, and Dr. Jeff took the most time out of all of them to talk with me. During our first session, he showed me why my posture was causing the problems I was complaining about, and he showed some good habits to develop to counter the problems. If you have any concerns about seeing a chiropractor, you need to talk to Dr. Jeff. He's very genuine and upfront. He didn't try to sell us on any treatment plans we didn't need, and he actually told us that we were healthy. I'll definitely be back.
