Fantastic experience: I've been going for 2+ years to Orange Shoe. I love the 25 minute workout as I feel that I get a good workout but it’s not too much. The workout moves quickly and I typically get in 8-9 different exercises. I’ve definitely gotten stronger. The trainers are all quite good.

Fantastic experience: Never having had been in this facility, the staff who greeted and showed me around were very friendly. I had a demo of what might be of help to me as a member trying to get in better shape and it seemed to be a comfortable environment, I suppose I will see if that's true if and when I officially join the club.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to Orange Shoe for about 1.5 years now and I’ve never been more consistent with working out. I’ve worked with all of the trainers and they are all great! They do a great job of explaining the exercises and making sure my form is good. Even on days when I don’t feel like coming in, they always make sure I have a great workout.

Fantastic experience: I really love Orange Shoe! It is a small, welcoming gym that is really for anyone who wants any level of training. There is such a wide range of clientele that I feel super welcomed and confident anytime I go. I first started with private training, which was wonderful, but quickly switched to partner training and I am so glad I did. Partner training is done so well at Orange Shoe because each person has their own plan for their own goals. Everything I wanted in private training, I still get with partner training, but now I have a new friend and accountability partner. For an introvert like me, partner training is even better than private because I don’t feel like I have to make as much conversation and can focus more on the exercises. I have seen great results from my time at orange shoe and don’t see myself leaving anytime soon.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love Orange Shoe! I started in May and I've noticed how much stronger I've become. I enjoy the Work class as well as Bodyworks with Jack. Bodyworks is great for restoring tight muscles and taking good care of your body as you work toward your health goals. Jack, Matt and Anahi are super helpful and will make it easy for you to get started! I highly recommend any of the small group classes. They are great and you get an incredible workout!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to Orange Shoe since June 2022 and absolutely love it. The classes are fun, energetic, encouraging with the right amount of challenge. The staff is always there to help support you on your health journey and has truly helped me have a better relationship with working out. Fantastic experience: I’ve been attending the personal training sessions twice per week for over a year and I can’t say enough positive things about my experience in the gym and with Max, my trainer. Recently I’ve sprained my wrist and he has always found modifications when I’ve needed them and approaches each modified session with the same enthusiasm and willingness to push me just outside my comfort zone while maintaining my comfort and safety.

Fantastic experience: I chose The Shoe for the convenience—it’s the closest gym offering small group and one-on-one personal training near my apartment. Working with Max and the other trainers over the last 6 months has fundamentally changed my approach to wellness and fitness. Having been a member of many large-format gyms, I’ve never experienced the efficiency that The Shoe offers over solo workouts. I spend approximately half the time in the gym for more than twice the benefit. I appreciate being able to show up to class where everything is organized to help you reach your goals, and once I walk out, I don’t have to think about planning, tracking, or sustaining a workout program in my personal time. I show up, work hard, and leave. Relinquishing the responsibilities of “what”, “when”, and “how”, has given me a lot of time back to do other things in my life. And, the results speak for themselves. I started with Max September of 2022. I have a single one-on-one session each week and then book between 3 and 5 additional classes to fill out the week. Most classes are 30 minutes and it’s ENOHGH! I always thought longer workouts would bring more benefits, but I found the opposite to me true. Short and efficient training on a consistent basis has helped me drop 20+ lbs while adding 10+ lbs of muscle in only 6 months. Members often double up sessions and get a full 1-hour workout, but it will take you a few weeks before you can manage that amount of work—and this is coming from someone who was a well-conditioned runner who had finished a half marathon in sub 2 hours 4 days prior to my first day of training. I’m in the best shape of my life and believe I’ve found a gym program that is sustainable for the long term. Thanks for everything!

We do frequent check ins outside of working out to see what I should be doing better at home both physically and nutritionally. I feel stronger each month that goes by and much healthier. I have been doing the 1:1 personal training two times per week since July 2022 as this is the only way I can stay motivated and committed to a workout routine. It has been a great experience and everyone at the studio is professional and welcoming. I work with two trainers, Max and Frank, who have been fantastic. Both take the time to check in and modify routines if there is an area to focus on or change because of an injury or strain. Their support has helped me stay consistent and I look forward to my sessions weekly.

Fantastic experience: Orange Shoe Lakeview is a great place to workout. I have been coming here for the past 1.5 years. Working with my trainer Frank has been really rewarding. He listens to my goals and develops an individual plan to get me there. The results speak for themselves. He is very passionate and knowledgeable about his work. Very important to me as well is that besides working hard on those goals, he also makes it fun. The same goes for all the others trainers at Orange Shoe Lakeview, including Jake, Max, Ken that I worked out with occasionally. Together all of them are just a great team. Fantastic experience: I've been going to Orange Shoe for over five years now and absolutely love it! Each and every trainer I've worked with has been excellent--building strength, cardio and working through my various running injuries. (Orange Shoe is perfect cross-training for runners.) My husband and all three of my (now adult) children go to or have gone to Orange shoe to improve fitness. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Trainers are super helpful, thoughtful, and amazing to work with. Workouts are challenging without pushing too far past your comfort zone. The facility is newly updated, has every tool you could imagine wanting or needing, and is kept very clean. When I started, I did an assessment to ensure that my training would be fully tailored to my needs and goals. I have the privilege of working with Jack, Anahi, and Frank. They all encourage me to push myself and improve, but always look out for me to make sure I’m using proper form and not overdoing it for my own boundaries and safety. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member of Orange Shoe for a number of years now, primarily for the small group classes but I also do personal training from time to time. While I’ve consistently been a runner and active, I never could find a gym that made me actually want to work out every day until I started coming here. Fun trainers that push you and a great community of people to work out with always leave me feeling positive and motivated.

Fantastic experience: I have really enjoyed working out at Orange Shoe over the last four plus years. For 1:1 training, the trainers focus on my goals and explain the technical aspects of the workout so I can connect the dots between my goals and the workouts. For group training (in-person pre-COVID and virtual now) I enjoy friendly trainers who provide modifications if needed, the challenging workouts, and supportive and fun classmates. Orange Show provides an environment (pre-COVID for me) where you can get to know all the trainers. It also provides 4 or 6-week challenges a couple times a year (pre-covid and now) which not only help to motivate you but also provide nutritional support.

The trainers get to know you, you get to know the other members and so it always feels very friendly and supportive. Fantastic experience: I've been going to Orange Shoe Personal Fitness, twice a week, for nearly four years. The staff is incredibly professional and friendly. And, they have very low turnover, especially for a gym. I've been working out with the same two personal trainers now for most of the past two years. Talha is the absolute best, but you can't miss with Ken either. The owner Wade, is engaged and in his Gym on a regular basis. Their is pride in ownership, not just from Wade, but his trainers as well. Also, with COVID going on, they have been incredibly clean and safe as well as attentive to the different levels of comfort for their clients. Five Star Business.

Fantastic experience: Talha is a wonderful trainer for our 9 year old son. We first starting having our son work with Talha as an alternative to many of the sports activities were closed due to covid-19. We thought that we would have our son work with someone for a couple of months, but it has been almost a year later and we are still working with Talha as a trainer because of the premiere service he provides. Talha provides tailored fitness guidance to not only improve our son’s overall fitness goals, but also trains him specifically to increase his specific sporting (soccer) skills as well. Talha understands the importance of changing his coaching approach to appeal to a younger client, while still maintaining a high level of quality, expertise and accountability. Workouts are focused, challenging, confidence boosting and fun! Workouts have been conducted both inside the clean and safe Lakeview facility as well as outdoors early on during the pandemic. My son looks forward to working out every week – sometimes multiple times a week! He always walks away for a workout invigorated, with increased knowledge and happy. We love working out with Talha and look forward to more! Thank you Talha and thank you Orange Shoe for providing a high-quality, safe, and positive environment for our son’s fitness goals.

Fantastic experience: I have worked out at Orange Shoe for 6+ years. The trainers are consistently professional, attentive, and accommodating. I always feel energized after my sessions. Since March, I have met with my trainers at OS 100% virtually, even while spending the summer in another state. It was a seamless transition and I got great workouts with very limited equipment. I’ve worked out with Talha and Ken for years, but more recently with other trainers, too . Always a great experience. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I've been a client now for well over a year, and I'm thrilled with my experience, and my results. The first several months were great, with in-person sessions that quickly helped me build core strength, and start to change my body. In March of 2020, we moved to virtual sessions, to accommodate the shelter-in-place orders. When they were able to reopen, they did so safely and respectfully, with great spacing, masks, and sanitizing procedures. My trainer, Talha is awesome - has customized my regimen to my specific needs. He holds me accountable, and pushes me, but never makes me feel uncomfortable.

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough positive things about Orange Shoe and my experience training with Talha! I have worked hard to stay in shapes since I was a teenager through running and yoga, but after a complicated pregnancy and weeks on bed rest, I could barely go for a walk without losing my breath. I started training with Talha in March, and after only a few short months, I was in better shape than I was before my pregnancy. Every work out incorporates legs, arms and abs. He has made me stronger and more toned than I thought possible. I am so grateful that I have had the opportunity to work with him.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Orange Shoe for well over a year and it has been a great experience. I've worked with multiple personal trainers and have had a great time with each one. Having workouts customized to improve in areas that I wanted has been a big help. Being out of a workout routine for years and going back can be a bit tough, but with their personal training sessions it has been very easy and a great experience. With the current state of covid it has been nice to still get to the gym to work with a personal trainer. I have felt very comfortable as everyone is masked and if anyone else is working with a trainer at the same time they have been distanced. I would highly recommend Orange Shoe to anybody as it has been a great way to get your mind and body feeling great and in shape.

Fantastic experience: Talha has truly transformed not just my attitude about working out in general but has truly helped me build up my lacrosse ability with strength training. Talha does not only build relationships with each of his clients but truly shows the dedication he has to push the client to their fullest capability. He has helped me get into a healthier routine over quarantine to set up a path for physical success. Talha has helped improve every aspect of my mindset and has helped greatly and results started to show within weeks. Even though the past 7 months of training has been over facetime Talha still shows the same amount of enthusiasm for each workout. Talha is the person who helped me get to my goals and is 100% the best way to go for personal training.

Fantastic experience: Despite being 800 miles away, Talha has fundamentally reinvented my diet and overall lifestyle all without ever meeting me in person. Despite that fact, he has quickly become one of the people that I trust the most, highlighting the personal element that Talha and Orange Shoe bring to training. It has been truly revolutionary to have someone so dedicated to my success helping me each step of the way in achieving my fitness goals. In spite of the fact that all of our sessions are done over FaceTime I have seen truly remarkable results in my short 6 months training with Talha and I cannot fathom where I would be without him and the training that he has provided me with. Orange Shoe, especially Talha, is the way to go if you are looking to truly not only reach your goals but to shatter them.

Fantastic experience: Orange Shoe is fantastic! Everyone is extremely friendly, supportive, and knowledgeable and really design the workouts for each and every client. I had two surgeries and Talha "rehabbed" both of my injuries. As an older client, I appreciate the fact that he has lots of exercises that improve my balance and endurance along with just keeping me healthy and strong. The clients vary in ability and age so I never feel intimidated. The gym is incredibly clean and there is only one other person training at the same time and sometimes I am the only one. I travel a lot and was surprised to learn how much I can get out of the virtual workouts! My two grandsons are training virtually with Talha and he coaches them on their diets as well. I think it is partly due to him that they have done so well in football or lacrosse this fall. All three of us have a lot to thank Orange Shoe and Talha for!

Fantastic experience: I usually hate working out and look for any excuse to not do it, but I’ve been going to Orange Shoe Lakeview twice a week (in person and virtually) for ten months now. It’s sort of a miracle. The trainers are friendly and knowledgeable, and they hold you accountable without being intimidating. It’s made all the difference for me! Plus, this is definitely the best sort of gym to go to during the pandemic: masks are required, the trainers keep their distance, equipment is wiped down before I use it, and I’m usually the only person working out. (At most there could be one other person on the other side of the gym, well over 6 feet away.)

Fantastic experience: I have been a member of Orange Shoe Lakeview for almost two years now and from day one I have felt like a welcome member of their little community! The trainers are all professional and friendly even if you aren't their client! I originally started because I was getting married and wanted to get into shape for the wedding but have kept coming back long after the honeymoon was over (even brought my new husband on as a member)! I was nervous that COVID would affect my weekly workouts and time in the gym but Orange Shoe found ways to keep me active with virtual sessions until they were able to safely open up in their amazing new facility right down the street! Once I was back in for in-person one on one training they showed me all the steps they were taking to follow required COVID-19 protocol, with sanitizer stations set up and wiping down/sanitizing all equipment after every use, and of course masks are mandatory in order to enter. I started in person training in the Spring with their new trainer Jack and was happy to see he is extremely professional and is helping to kick my butt back into shape every week! I totally recommend Orange Shoe for those looking for a safe way to keep active or get back into shape and I am so grateful I made the decision to try them out 2 years ago!

Orange Shoe recently moved into a new, larger space and has been able to hold distanced indoor and outdoor training sessions and small classes. It couldn’t be better....

I feel super safe and see that all equipment is wiped down thoroughly after each use. The new place is very clean and staff is so friendly and personable. I still love my trainer Talha, hes the best! Fantastic experience: I have been working out at this location for the past 3 months and am very glad I continue to do so. Masks are worn at all times and everything is cleaned after each use. I personally have been training with Talha and have nothing but positive experiences with him.

Fantastic experience: Orange Shoe is a great gym for personal training. I’ve been going there for a few years and even through COVID-19 I feel safe going. Most sessions are 1:1 or small group classes so you can ensure proper social distance from other people. The equipment is also properly cleaned after each use. All trainers are very welcoming and you never feel judged like in larger gyms.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Orange Shoe for about a year and a half and can't recommend them highly enough. The workouts are tailored to your needs and goals, and they are very conscientious about working with injuries, I have several. My trainer, Talha, is very friendly and knowledgeable and has a great work out planned for me every week. I just returned after taking a break due to covid and they have great protocols and keep the number of people in the space VERY low, I have never had more than one other person there when I was working out. A great experience every week.

Fantastic experience: Orange shoe is the epitome of personalized fitness. Their sessions are catered to your specific need. They won’t just put you into a routine and hit the start button. They’ll assess your individual needs and develop a plan for *you*. I am president of a nonforprofit that helps build enrichment at a CPS school. I reached out to Wade and, specifically, Talha about a partnership to help educate children on the importance of fitness in their lives, especially creating routines at s you get age. They were 100% on board. At the day of the event, Talha, on his off day, out his life on hold to help teach children about the importance of stretching before and after a run. He saw the value of shaping young minds for nonpayment back to him at that moment. If this is the level of care that they give to children during a fitness fundraiser, imagine the level of care that he’ll provide if you are a client?

Fantastic experience: I wanted to take a minute and tell my story of how Orange Shoe helped me to changed my life. As a person who has been overweight my entire adult life, it was not easy to walk into a normal gym environment and begin a fitness regimen. When I discovered that Orange Shoe did things differently, I was intrigued. It’s a small studio dedicated to personal training and small group classes. I first went in for an assessment weighing 398 lbs, and struggling with even the most basic physical tasks. After a very tough few years, I was just wanting to do better. But you would have never been able to know how out of shape I was by the reaction of the trainers. It was all a very upbeat and positive experience. I was ASKED and not told if I wanted to be weighed and measured as a good barometer toward reaching my fitness goals, I decided to do it. Then they assessed my range of motion and ASKED me my goals rather than telling me what I should be aiming for. Like most things, I came out of the gate and worked hard and lost a quick 30 lbs. But then, once again, I started into my typical poor choices and rewarding myself with food and my weight loss stalled. I slowed down going to Orange Shoe, essentially stopping. The only variable that was different this time was Orange Shoe, and what a powerful ally they proved to be. Rather than just let me fade into history, I started receiving polite and concerned emails from one of the trainers, Ken. Nothing harsh, judgmental, or drill instructor like. He would just say hey I’d love to work with you again, here’s my availability, let me know how I can help. I would leave the email unread for a few days or even a week, but Ken persisted in the most friendly and unassuming way possible. Within a month I was back going regularly, and after making small changes to my diet I started to see weight loss again. Here it is a few months later and today I weighed in at 348 lbs, it’s been 10 years since I’ve been under 350. It’s still a ridiculous number and I still have a long road ahead. But for the first time in 20 years of documented morbid obesity, I feel real and serious hope. I’m not walking the road alone. I have well educated professionals that truly care about me reaching my goal weight. I feel that when I fall, they will be there to help me up. It won’t be a downward spiral, it’ll be a minor trip up. The facilities are super clean and well appointed, booking classes and managing my account is very easy using their app. But at the end of the day it’s about their people. The definition of superlative is “of the highest degree or quality, surpassing all others” Orange Shoe is truly a superlative place for even the most lost of causes to reach their goals. From the bottom of my heart, thank you Orange Shoe.
