Fantastic experience: Dr Herba was able to treat and successfully correct years of damage to the spinal structure -starting with the neck and the lumbar spine. Combining years of experience treating Olympic athletes along with cutting edge use of a Class 4 laser (the same one used by our own Boston Red Sox) Dr. Herba was also able to bring my leg pain from a disc herniation down from a 8 to a now steady 5 and hopefully dropping as we continue the program he designed. When I first went in I was clear-being able to measure results is all that matters with any type of treatment. His level of knowledge and skill are honestly unmatched by anyone I've been to for any kind of back or neck pain. Not only does he treat the symptoms but what matters the most at least for me and I suspect to anyone reading over this is to understand- why and how we got here. Unlike your "typical' Chiropractor- he will not simply twist and turn you and tell you to take a number and do what everybody else in the room full of other patients are doing. Instead he will take the time to listen to you- answer your questions and design a specific custom program which adresses the root causes, reduces symptoms and shows results. If you are looking to reduce nerve pain, back pain, neck pain and even IBS through the use of class 4 laser-I highly recommend him as a practitioner.

Fantastic experience: I have been under Dr Herba's care since the summer of 2022. When I came in I had an effective head weight (due to my forward neck posture) of over 20 lbs. The average weight of the skull and head is just 10.9lbs. Today, my eff. head weight is 12.9lbs. The other day I was in my dance class practicing chest isolations. My instructor came around to check on my movement. She complimented my on my posture and walked away. I was a bit speechless. I have scoliosis and my right rib hump has, most of all, left me self conscious. But I can carry myself very well now and I can move better than ever and that is because of Dr Herba. Dr. Herba trained with one of the best scoliosis doctors, Tony Nalda, in Florida where he previously worked. I feel blessed to have crossed paths with Matt. He is awesome at what he does and he loves his job and serving others. The pain I used to feel in my neck and mid thoracic area has been greatly reduced by Matt's program. I used to feel like my bones were rubbing together in my neck and sometimes would experience sharp pinching or needle like pain. I see the doctor every other week for maybe 15 minutes. First, I complete 3 basic stretches to loosen on the lower back and gets nutrients flowing in and around the lower spine. Second, I do 40 reps of a neck decompression exercise. Third, the doctor sees me for my adjustment. Evaluations are fun. I've never had a chiropractor use technology other than pen and paper to evaluate my progress. The doctor's assistant, Melle, sends me my written evaluations and body scans once they are completed. There is also a neural efficiency index called Corescore. One of the things it shows is how well the body is adapting to everyday stressors. It's a lot to take in but Matt is happy to go over the science so ask as many questions as you want. Also, he has incorporating light therapy now. Ask him about it. Like I said, Melle is the assistant and she has been so helpful with the administration side of business. She is friendly and highly responsive via text. I get my doctor's sick note or a referral form in a timely manner. Billing related things are resolved over text. She communicates very well about personal or holiday office hours so I can plan my care accordingly. Melle and Matt are a good team ! If you made it this far, I commend you! It was a long post. Fantastic experience: After two weeks with Chiropractor Dr. Matt at Brighton Spine and Wellness I can say it has been a miraculous change in my life. I didn't even know my body was in such great trouble and terrible inner shape. 2 weeks ago, I reluctantly reached out for Chiropractic help. I can now do exercises that will change the course of my life to perfect health again. I am no longer in excruciating and throbbing pain. I can sleep through the night without waking up in aching level 10 pain. My spine is in its proper position and I feel great! Continual sessions are keeping my spine in proper alignment through my exercise and dog walking duties. Dr. Matt is very talented, professional, and knowledgeable for all your situations and casualties. In just telling him your situation Dr. Matt will also give you insightful information that can help you heal naturally, holistically, and physically thru special home bound exercises. May 2024: To update my health since Dr. Matt has used Laser Therapy... About 3 sessions of laser therapy has broken up old scar tissue and enables free motion of neck exercises. Any time my neck stiffens, given exercises enable my neck to move freely.

Fantastic experience: I came to Dr Matt for a neck and upper back injury and almost immediately I found relief. I have continued my maintenance for 2 yrs. He is amazing, knowledgeable in every aspect of chiropractic medicine, and has given me other insight in health care. Recently I suffered another work injury with my shoulder and we treated the shoulder with chiropractic means and Laser therapy, the results were beyond amazing, after the first session my pain level and my shoulder mobility improved from 10 being the worst to a 5, and after my 3rd session it is mostly back to normal. Fantastic experience: I'm doing the red light laser treatment on my knees. I've been in horrible pain, went to a ortho, PCP etc I couldn't walk without feeling like my knee would rip. I'm 4 treatments in and I feel good as new! I can run up the stairs at work, be pain free and feel safer (knowing my knee won't give out) Laser is completely pain free, it's quick and it really works. I'll be getting my back done next. Positive experience: I came to Brighton Spine and Wellness for general wellness. I have some general lower back, hip, and joint pain. For the most part I feel better, but there have been some significant changes in my life so I can't wholly contribute the improvements to Dr. Herba. But I don't feel worse from seeing him.

Negative experience: Would not recommend. Seemed a little scammy to me. He asked for some of my medical history and then intentionally inserted some of my grievances into his pitch for how his services would help me. I know it’s a pitch because I went with another person who was also seeking help and he said the same thing and simply inserted their heath grievances to make it more appealing to them. He advertised a free X-ray in the initial visit and then made an excuse as to why the X-ray machine didn’t work. Sent me elsewhere to get an X-ray where I then had to pay. Also, his technology is questionable. I would suggest you go to a chiropractor whose methods are tried and true.

Negative experience: As a few people have mentioned, I had gotten a Groupon to try them out. Booked an appointment and the day of they called saying they “had a recent covid exposure”, which was reasonable and they pushed me out two weeks. They then called me again the day of my next appointment (two weeks later) saying there was an “incident at the office” and that I should just try to get a refund because they won’t be able to get me in for months. I called again the next day to see if they were taking new patients, without mentioning trying to use their Groupon, and they were. Pretty ridiculous.

Negative experience: Very rude and unprofessional. Superior attitude. I bought a Groupon online and called the number to book an appointment as instructed. I was told “I’m a doctor and I don’t have time to book your appointment for you” after spending 30s on the phone. Toxic.

Negative experience: I bought a groupon and tried SO many times to book an appointment with them. I called every single day they work as listed on their website, they never picked up the phone. I left numerous messages on the form they have on the website, no response either. Since August 24 that I bought it, I got a response yesterday over the phone, they couldn't offer a time any day of the week after 3 pm, the gentleman on the phone said was going to call me back and nothing. I just requested my refund from Groupon.

Fantastic experience: I love this place my life was pretty miserable with back pain before i found Dr Simon Have been going here for yrs now even though i moved to Rhode island

Negative experience: Of all the Groupons I have bought and used, this was the most unfavorable! The treatment was less time, than I waited, (under 15 min.)! I have had many massages and his had to be the shortest and least effective of any massage treatment I have ever had. Not recommended! I'll never go back for a session with him.

Fantastic experience: If he's in your insurance, it is worth going to him. He may be quick but I found relief after a couple of appointments. If you don't have insurance, it may be worth asking for a discount.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Simon is great! I came with terrible shoulder and neck pain and not only the pain got alleviated but my fatigue symptoms got significant improvement early in the treatment. After couple months of regular visits I feel as energetic and pain free as I did not feel in months. Dr. Simon has a lot of helpful educational materials in the office, helped me analyze and be thoughtful about my posture and made some exercise recommendations. He has caring personality and it’s a pleasure to come for a visit. Oh, and Edward, front desk assistant, is awesome as well. Kind and friendly and always has a story to share:)

Fantastic experience: My dad is visiting me and he has hypertension and vertigo which may caused by cervical spondylosis for more than 10 years. And his blood pressure couldn't be well controlled by medicine, 130-150/80-90. So I took him to see Dr. Simon since my mom had a great experience there before. It was really unexpected that my dad's blood pressure dropped obviously (110-120/70-80) after just one visit. And it is still stable after three visits so far. Dr. Simon is amazing and I highly recommend him!

Fantastic experience: Coming in with long-term neck soreness/discomfort, and having never been to a chiropractor before, I was both eager and skeptical of what might lay ahead. Having now been a client of Dr. Simon's for several months, I can say that not only are my neck problems gone, but because of Dr. Simon's expertise, he has worked with me to identify and moderate a few other problem areas. He provides efficient and effective sessions, but also gives advice on stretches/techniques that can be used at home or work-so the value of the appointments goes beyond just the in-clinic setting.

I was having some serious back pain and he did a great job of assessing what was causing it and then scheduling a set of adjustments to fix it. Fantastic experience: I was a true "non-believer" in chiropractic care. Dr Simon proved me wrong. I had a very painful injury to my sternum. X-rays showed no broken bones. My doctor said badly bruised bones and soft tissue would take 6 weeks to heal. After one treatment with Dr. Simon, I was almost pain free. He took the time to explain what he felt the injury had done to me and how his treatment would relieve the pain. A follow up appointment and I am moving pain free and feeling great! Fantastic experience: Dr. Simon has been treating me for periodic back and neck pain for over 7 years. I always leave feeling relief from back and neck pain and and improvement in movement and functioning. With other chiropractors I've seen, I've often left feeling that my treatment was too brief and I felt rushed out. With Dr Simon, my experience has been quite different. Fantastic experience: Dr. Simon is great! I have an old high school sport injury that acts up every once and a while and I called them at around 6pm on a Monday to see if they could make time for me. They called me back right away and stayed late for me! I have been going back at least once a week for the past few months now and I recommend them highly! They have a bed that moves around to help with certain stretches and it feels wonderful! They are so nice and accommodating and I haven’tfelt this good in years!
