Negative experience: Front desk staff not very welcoming. I walk in and they say nothing to me, offer no service or check in to me. The next person walks in, they greet her and see her before me. Yes, yes I am. And yes, yes she was. And yes, they are all white at the desk. Take that for what you want but this isn’t the first time this has happened at this place. I probably won’t be taking any more appts at this location.

Negative experience: I had one of the most unprofessional and dismissive experiences I’ve ever had at a medical office here, specifically with Nurse Practitioner Susan. I came in with genuine health concerns related to mold exposure after cleaning significant visible mold in my home and experiencing ongoing symptoms. Instead of being taken seriously, I was completely brushed off. Susan immediately dismissed the idea of mold toxicity and falsely claimed there was no such thing as blood work for it—an outright lie. When I challenged that, she changed her story and tried to offer me an antihistamine, despite me clearly stating I wanted to get to the root of the problem, not just cover up symptoms. Her attitude was rude, belittling, and she made me feel like I was being a burden for even asking questions. This place does not prioritize patient care—it prioritizes writing prescriptions and getting you out the door. If you’re someone trying to take your health seriously and advocate for yourself, do not come here. The way I was treated was not only dismissive, but irresponsible, and honestly dangerous. I’m filing a formal complaint, because no patient should be made to feel like this when they’re asking for help.

Negative experience: I've gone to this office for 30 years. It was really convenient that everything was in one office but over the years my doctors have left and the office building hasn't been updated much. The front desk is helpful and kind. I was seeing a Dermatology PA (I was never offered an MD). Today I was 7 minutes late (after checking in). I waited another 7 minutes in reception and then was told by the receptionist that I would have to reschedule because they didn't have time to see me since I was late. I asked if this was the policy and the receptionist said the policy is whatever the PA says it is. I understand that she needs to run her practice efficiently, I agree the patients after me shouldn't wait because I was late. But this was the final straw for me, everything seems to be about profits and efficiency and not patient focused, 7 minutes shouldn't make or break a schedule unless the appointments are back to back with no breaks, and a nicer tone would have helped a lot.

Fantastic experience: A little over the top recomending in their group, but decent doctors and staff is extremely helpful. Blood lab is painless. They all appear to be very good. Dermatologist is great. The opthamology is the weakest point. I see they finally got a coupl opthamologists so I hope they are decent. But glasses are way to pricey. Last but not least the pharmacy is great.

Negative experience: This is the worst run business I have ever encountered. It is impossible to call and to get anyone who isn’t either full of consternation or just ubiquitously incompetent to handle even routine requests. I will find a new doctor because this is a company that can’t meet even minimal expectations!

Fantastic experience: I recently saw Dr. Daniel Randall at the urgent care at Harvard Vanguard for SOB. His bedside manner and attention to detail for patient care was remarkable. It was so refreshing to meet a doctor that cares so deeply for his patients. He followed up with me for several days after the appointment and made sure I was feeling okay. He also touched base with other doctors from my medical team to keep them in the loop which I thought was amazing! I’d highly recommend him for any type of medical treatment or care you’d need! He’s amazing!

Fantastic experience: My primary care doctor is absolutely the best, and everyone there has always provided top-notch service. My only gripe is that the people in the pharmacy are so short-staffed and overworked that they never smile. To the people that left negative reviews - any place you go (regardless of where it is) is bound to have a less-than-great person working there. Until about 10 years ago, I had all of my appointments at the Atrius (Harvard Vanguard) location in Burlington. My long-time PCP moved, and relocated to another HVMA office that was not close to me. My new PCP, well, lets just say that I wouldn't subject my worst enemies to the "care" she provided. Just awful. Ever since switching to Peabody, you can easily think that you're the only patient this PCP has. She's that personal and that invested in my health and well-being.

Negative experience: I scheduled and visited for my yearly physical. The Dr. asked me how do I feel. I responded " I feel good other then some cough we had in he family" She did the same tests as she does every year and listens to my lung etc.. then said" that this cough has been going around and should go away by itself".. Now my insurance was billed for $400 for the physical which was really nothing other just going through my list of medicine PLUS they bill $268 for sick visit. I contacted billing as I did not go for a sick visit...and "Milla G" responded: "reviewed and is in accordance with standard billing and compliance guidelines." I am frustrated since, I received 0 service or treatment yet I am billed for "Sick visit". Well the cough still did no go away by itself so what am I paying for? Update oct 2023: I called the my insurance and turns out they know about this and there is nothing that they can help with. It is a failure in the US hospital -insurance game practice that if you tell your DR during a phisical exam about any health issue they can bill for an additional sick visit even if no remedy was provided.

Fantastic experience: honestly a great place with people who care. Even the secretaries at the front desk are super sweet! this place helped get me through COVID.. they helped get me through a lot of medical issues both physical and mental. I was seeing a different doctor who moved here, but he ended up not being good enough I think and left. I'm grateful for that because I got a new doctor and she is amazing!

Negative experience: They promise to call you back, then never do. You have to call them incessantly and half the time they still will not give you an answer. This has happened at least 6 times this year alone. I ask the for the doctor to call me and then get a phone call back from a nurse with no answers. Not to mention that they scheduled an appointment for me without even speaking to me to check my availability. The only reason they aren’t getting 1-star is because the pediatrics side is wonderful and the women who work at the internal medicine desk whose names start with M (I wanna say Mandy?) and T (she was working Monday and Tuesday afternoon) were phenomenal. The nurse (I think Colleen?) is also awesome! I am so sorry that I don’t remember their names.

Negative experience: This place has been absolutely terrible to me. Instead of the doctors listening to my problems and finding a solution they ignored me for months and a year later I am buried in debt and have no solution. One of the doctors also prescribed me a medication that interacting with another medication I take that only solved 1/3 of my health issues. I have seen 3 different doctors at this location and the last doctor decided to send me to a specialist. Instead of sending me to someone inside Harvard Vanguard he decided to give me an outbound referral to see a specialist elsewhere. Because of this I cannot get my appointment because the referral was sent wrong and the referral department is ignoring me worse than these doctors were. It is absolutely unbelievable that we are trusting these people with our lives and they can’t even handle sending a referral correctly. I am so truly defeated by how disrespectful this business has been to me for over a year. Please go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Of all the HVMA facilities I've been to, this is the best. Good parking, clean facility, great and responsive doctors. Referrals are what they are, so no points removed there. It was mere chance I found a good doctor here, when I was no longer happy with the one I had at Chelmsford. If you can, look to this location first.

Fantastic experience: Saw Dr Randall for an urgent care visit. I felt cared for from the moment I called to verify I was there. Dr Randall was very thorough and personable. When my visit turned more complex, he was able to order quick tests at the clinic and he followed through with me later that night after talking to another of my care providers. I’ve never felt so well cared for.

Fantastic experience: Harvard vanguard is a fabulous place! I'm writing this review on behalf of my mother in law Herminia Ventura, she had a great experience and highly recommends it to anyone with leg vein issues. She highlighted Dr Svetlana Moheydeen is very knowledgeable, informative and she cares about patients also the nurse Christina Chabra is extremely professional, caring and very friendly. The experience has been beyond exceptional.

Negative experience: Go here if you want to waste 3 hours of your time. I went here with an obvious soft tissue injury, told them I had been taking tynenol and icing it for a week. The doctor could not have cared less, sent me for an X-Ray. I get back from my X-Ray and the doctor says, it doesn't show any soft tissue damage (NO KIDDING, X-RAYs don't show potential soft tissue damage). I was prescribed (drum roll please), ice and tylenol. This place is such a racket, they only do things so they can bill my insurance. DO NOT EVER GO HERE. THIS PLACE IS JUST USING YOU AS A MONEY GRAB

Fantastic experience: There are a lot of GREAT Doctors and Nurses at this practice, as well as some really cranky ones. The Pharmacy staff, especially Carmella is extremely nice and knowledgeable and the front desk staff always try to be helpful.

Negative experience: Edit: i went to this place. There is one nurse that is nice. Unfortunately, there is this one other middle aged nurse or assistant (she does appts and stuff) that is extremely rude. She seems on edge at all times. But right before leaving she'll suddenly be friendly. I don't get it. Dr. Bhatena only cares about herself. This job to her is just a stepping stone to her personal accomplishments. Original: Called the pediatrics office to ask how much it would cost to visit. They said they have no idea and to call the billing office. Called the billing office to ask how much it would cost. They also said they have no idea because no service is done. So basically the only way to know how much it would cost to see a doc for a consultation would be when the bill arrives. Neither office wanted to help me figure this out. Why are people not helpful? Why do they avoid helping patients? It's very frustrating.

Negative experience: We moved and Harvard Vanguard won't allow my husband to transfer to this office. Apparently a 30-mile drive is appropriate to treat mental health for this practice. They obviously do not care about patients. If you want cold-blooded monsters who only care about your insurance, this is the practice for you.
