Fantastic experience: Mary has been awesome to work with! I had over 50 pounds to lose, and in the 2 months I've worked with Mary, I have lost about 16 pounds. Mary is a super clean eater and VERY discerning about the quality of food she chooses. She created a very doable plan I was able to stick with and succeeded. She is a great champion and is always timely with lots of great feedback on a daily basis. Every morning I would wake up and her messages would be waiting for me. She not only looks for the best adherence to the macros, getting enough protein and fiber, but she made great recommendations for very healthy products. Mary is not shy about telling you the shake you're drinking is garbage because she only wants you to consume the best and those products will enhance your performance - either in weight loss or workout results. Moving on, now, to my next phase, I'll keep Mary's voice in my mind and every time I reach for something to read the label, it will always have a "what would Mary tell me?" approach. I really appreciate everything Mary taught me!

Fantastic experience: I came to Mary as a 50 year old who never had to worry about weight until my mid-40s. I was an athlete and could eat anything I wanted with no worries. In my 40’s I had a few injuries which kept my activity much lower along with a slower metabolism and I saw my weight quickly increase. I tried to eat better on my own and workout, but struggled with consistency. I tried some fad diets, keto, paleo, Atkins, etc., which all had similar initial loses, but were very hard to stick with long term and I would gain it right back. After my 2nd yearly physical where my doctor suggested getting on cholesterol medication, I finally gave in and started to take it. Finally, I called Mary. She gave me a plan that was every bit as hard to stick with as anything else… maybe harder. But, in doing so I saw quick results and found that I not only lost weight, but felt much better. The more I stuck to the plan, the more the weight melted right off which kept feeding my motivation. I ended up meeting my goal so quickly and easily, that I moved my goal even further. My wife was on the same plan with me so it made it easy that we were both eating the same meals and in it together. The good thing was that I didn’t feel like it was that hard. I was eating healthy home cooked meals for lunch and dinner every day and that felt like a treat more than a diet plan. I highly recommend Mary if you have struggled for year with other plans. Just remember, its more about YOU sticking to the plan and wanting this, so don’t cut corners or cheat yourself.

Fantastic experience: Mary met with my wife and I initially and then subsequently was amazingly accessible and supportive as we navigated a change in our lifestyle and eating habits. As someone in healthcare, eating should have been more of a priority, but sadly it wasn't. Mary's guidance and counseling was incredibly valuable. The changes in my physical appearance and my overall health are noticeable to everyone. Most importantly, I feel better eating in a much cleaner way. I have recommended her to everyone who asks.

Fantastic experience: Six years ago, in 2018, at the age of 52, I reached out to Mary because I was carrying an extra 25 lbs on my barely 5’0 frame and although I was eating healthy & exercising, I was unable to lose weight. Mary was invaluable to me at that time helping me achieve my weight loss goals. In March of this year, at the age of 58, I learned that my total cholesterol was just under 300 and that my LDL’s had shot up to over 200. This was very disturbing to me because even though I eat healthy & exercise, all the women in my mom’s family have high cholesterol and I did not want to be on cholesterol medication. My doctor told me to change my diet and come back in 4 months to determine next steps. I immediately reached out to Mary to get help lowering my cholesterol numbers. Mary recognized that I eat healthy foods, but she designed a meal plan for me that focused on high protein, high fiber, and low carbs to lower my cholesterol. She gave me some amazing food/meal suggestions and set daily nutritional goals for me that were not only achievable, but allowed me to eat the foods that I love! In less than 8 weeks on Mary’s plan, my total cholesterol & LDL numbers were down 65 points! I’m so grateful to Mary for all of her help over the years! I’ve learned so much from her and I truly appreciate her conscientious, intelligent, and holistic approach to nutrition and healthy living!

Fantastic experience: Mary is the consummate professional! I initially started strength-training with her, but then health issues (age-related stenosis) forced me to pause that program. Mary & I began working together on a nutritional 're-boot', including an anti-inflammation diet. Her knowledge is vast, she treats the whole person, not just your exercise or diet. As a life-long (I'm 70) vegetarian and daily exerciser, I considered myself a 'healthy eater' and someone who already did most things right. But Mary helped me fine-tune my diet, educated me on how to get the protein I was lacking, and led me through nutritional changes that stabilized my weight at a time of my unprecedented inactivity. She's no-nonsense & straight-foward, but also caring. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I have worked with Mary at ages 38 and 53. My first experience was nutritional along with an exercise program. I remember vividly that I lost 11 lbs (6-7 weeks) and was ready for my ski trip to Colorado. In my 30's, I went to Mary searching for a healthier lifestyle and to learn how to use fitness equipment at our neighborhood gym. She created a specific exercise program for me to follow and helped with healthy food choices, specifically paying attention to portions. Fast forward 15 years, surviving breast cancer, menopause and gaining a lot of weight due to medications and unhealthy food consumption, I once again reached out to Mary. Fantastic experience: I am thankful for getting connected to Mary through one of my doctors. She is knowledgeable and stays up-to-date with current health issues, such as educating people about gmo vs organic foods, best diet for balancing hormones and addressing solutions for adrenal fatigue and inflammation. I liked having accountability through the Lose It! app, and easily being able to correspond with Mary through it. Also, her lifestyle plan and detox is budget-friendly! The biggest take away I got was realizing how sedentary I had become after I left a job that kept me active, and how taking an intentional daily walk, even if I didn't get to my goal of 10,000 steps, improved my attitude, sleep, and my body became leaner. Fantastic experience: Mary was great to work with from our initial meeting through two months of coaching. Mary developed a food plan to start after the 2 week detox. The detox was easy to follow and best part I was not left feeling hungry each day. The lifestyle plan provided healthy suggestions for every meal and snacks. Mary also provided recipes that are simply and easy to follow and tasty. The coaching was helpful, not because I didn’t know/learn what healthy food combinations were, but for accountability. Fantastic experience: I have tried for years to take off and keep off 10 pounds and I always gained it back no matter how hard I tried. I was tired all the time and on all kinds of vitamin supplements because my diet was so poor I was unable to get my nourishment from my food. I had gut issues. I thought I was healthy because I was vegetarian but I wasn’t. Once I started working with Mary my gut issues reset and I lost 28 pounds and I have been able to keep it off through the holidays and since then. Fantastic experience: I am over 50 and was just gaining weight no matter what I tried. I found Mary and worked with her for 2 months. She taught me how to manage macros and how to manage a balance of protein, fiber and fat at each meal. I thought I was doing the right things, but I was so wrong! Her 2 week detox is a great way to get into the healthy eating plan, and the morning detox shake and lemon water have helped to keep me on track. Fantastic experience: I have always been serious about my health and have a regular exercise program that includes weight lifting and cardio. And while I try to eat healthy, I still had elevated cholesterol and some numbers in my blood work that could be better. I started with Mary's wonderful Detox program and learned so much with her daily monitoring of my eating. I welcomed her recipes as I tend to get into a rut with my eating. By the second week I was sleeping better and lost 4 pounds, even though weight loss was not my primary goal. Mary helped me get enough protein for my weight lifting which was important to build muscle, and I learned through her monitoring, that I was not eating enough net carbs which was eye-opening. Making this change resulted in more energy. After following her maintenance program for over a month, I was excited to see that my blood work showed a great improvement, especially my cholesterol which is significantly lower. Mary cares about her clients and their individual goals and helped me adjust my nutrition to build muscle, reduce fat and have overall better health. Another perk is that I am in the skincare business and I noticed that Mary's skin looked extra healthy with a beautiful glow. I wanted to be sure that my personal nutrition was properly supporting the work of my products and believe my skin is also looking better than ever!

Fantastic experience: I started this adventure with you thinking I was smarter than I was. I thought I was eating fairly well, for instance. Now I realize 8 weeks after starting this adventure, I had half the knowledge, half the commitment, and none of a program. What I learned was that it takes equal parts of all three. You boosted my knowledge, you gave me the program, but I had to make the commitment to lose 28 pounds in 8 weeks on my way to reach my goal of losing 35 pounds. All three ingredients in your recipe were needed, but I could not have had this success with all the commitment in the world and no program and missing pieces of knowledge. After 10 weeks,"1" is now the first number on my scale and I am 4 pounds from my original goal even after traveling for 2 weeks, and will probably extend the goal to lop off a few more pounds. I am feeling loads better, and buying new clothes to go with the ones in my closet that I can now wear once again. Now I know how to do what needs to be done, I now am confident that I can fly on my own, thanks to your coaching.

Fantastic experience: I simply can’t say enough about Mary and her guidance through my lifestyle change/ journey. Being 25 in shape I thought my diet discipline was up to par but boy was I wrong. With her knowledge and expertise I have been able to learn new disciplines to aid with the health concerns I had and the goals I wanted to reach. I lost 8lbs during the 2 week detox, met my goal weight of 180 and body fat of 9%. Attentive, caring, and structured are three of the many great things that come to mind to describe Mary. Fantastic experience: Mary helped me achieve the impossible, & I dropped over 35 pounds!! I have been overweight -obese for too damn long, and finally had a enough. I found Mary on Nextdoor, where I saw her name mentioned many times for recommendations, and am very glad I found her. I was already a decent cook, so adding some of her recipes has my wife & I both eating better now at home. I am a big guy, foodie, ice cream fan, picky eater, so I was skeptical in the beginning because nothing in the past has worked for me. Fantastic experience: My experience with Mary and her program has been literally life changing. The difference it has made in my overall health is amazing. As someone who loves to cook (and I consider myself a "foodie"), it was hard to imagine having to make a lot of sacrifices and not make whatever I wanted to make, when I wanted to make it. Once I got through the first two weeks of the program, and I realized how much better I felt, there was no reason to go back to eating and cooking in that way. I learned to be more mindful of what I was eating, and planning in advance always helps. I still cook quite a bit, but I make changes that don't derail all of my progress. I discovered that after consistently making these changes, I don't really want all the foods I thought I did, and I no longer want sweets, fried foods or lots of carbs. My husband has been right along with me, and he lost over 25 pounds total--I know I have lost at least 15, (if not more) and my fitness level has increased because my energy has increased. I feel like even if I have a couple of days of celebrating, or being out of town on vacation, I now have the tools to correct myself and get back on track. That is the biggest thing for me---before if I did that I wouldn't know the key things to correct to make sure my weight didn't get out of control. Now I do, and it has been so helpful to have Mary to answer my questions and explain how much I should be eating, and when. After my two week detox I did 4 additional months to get me through the holidays and January. To have the support as well as the accountability helped to shape my decisions and cement the actions even further. I felt like by the time I was through the 4th month, I was armed with the knowledge I needed to succeed on my own. I cannot thank her enough---it has been amazing! I highly recommend this program!!

Fantastic experience: As I have progressed through my 50"s my body began to change in ways that I did not know what to do for self-help. The more I researched diets, healthy eat lifestyles and so on the more overwhelmed I became by all the different ways that a person could go about seeking a healthier lifestyle. My body ached so badly at the age of 55 that I could not imagine how I would feel in my 60's and 70's. I was convinced that what I ate was my issue. Therefore, I sought out a nutritional coach and found Mary Sabat. Mary's detox program was exactly what I needed. Before I completed my detox my body felt so much better that, I knew I had made the right choice by seeking Mary's help. I am now 25 pounds down and I have no idea how many inches I have lost in the last two month. I have been able to walk almost every day from two to four miles at a time. Before the detox I would hurt for days after walking....no more of that! In addition, I am a stress eater and the cravings for foods (mainly carbs) that I had before the detox has almost completely subsided. I have been tempted to eat, but I have been able to focus on walking when before that was impossible. Fantastic experience: Like many people, I was overwhelmed by all of the diet and nutrition information out there – so many diet options – and so much of the “nutrition” information was conflicting. I ended up in analysis paralysis and did nothing. Similarly, I was overwhelmed by how to exercise effectively without hurting myself - within the last few years I had developed plantar fasciitis that really limited my exercise options. But I was determined to do something about my weight. I needed to find someone to lay out a diet and exercise plan for me, someone that I felt I could trust…where I could just focus on completing the plan in front of me and not be distracted worrying if it was going to work or not. My research lead me to Mary, and I feel grateful for that. There is more to losing weight than just restricting your calories…after working with Mary for two months I feel that I understand how the exact quality of food choices I make also play their part. This is something I never understood before, and it makes all the difference. In 11 weeks I’ve managed to lose 13 pounds. Others will lose more…I’m making a conscious decision to have “cheat meals” that I enjoy with my husband and son who aren’t interested in changing their eating habits. The difference is, that now I’m doing that consciously and with more knowledge…so even though I call it a “cheat meal” I now have the tools at my disposal to keep that meal within reason and not just go off the rails. I’m very comfortable with the rate that I’m losing weight, it’s more consistent than I’ve ever managed in the past. I’m not working with Mary right now (I signed up for a two month plan), but I’m still losing weight using the knowledge that I gained from her. I will certainly work with her again in the future if I find myself plateaued with either my diet or exercise. I have no doubt that anyone can lose weight and get healthier by trusting in Mary, she’s a professional who knows her stuff!

Fantastic experience: Mary knows nutrition. The plan she set up for me seemed a little scary at first but once I got rolling I was amazed at how the weight came off, how my blood pressure dropped and how much better I felt in all ways. I have rarely been hungry or famished and have plenty of energy. I am 52 years old but lighter than I have been since high school. Mary's approach is enjoyable & satisfying. There is zero temptation to go back to my old, negligent eating habits. The effort required to plan ahead a little & track my food according to Mary's recommendations is well worth it. Fantastic experience: Mary had been coaching me for 6 months. It is anamazing and eye opening to learn about food and nutrition. With that is very easy to stay on your goals. Mary is an amazing coach and a very knowledgeable nutritionist. It is very scary to end being coached from her. But I want to see how I fair independently. That's what her plan is about after all. I'll always keep going back to her detox plan, which is very simple and fantastic. I used to think that I'm comfortable being overweight, But after losing almost 13 kgs, I feel a lot better. Fantastic experience: My name is Venka and this is my success story. 8 months ago, I was in the worst health of my life. I was taking at least 5+ different pills and insulin injections for my type 2 diabetes. My blood sugar was constantly in flux during the day and night to the point that I constantly was waking up due to blood sugar spikes. I weighed 280 lbs at 6'1" and was always lethargic and out of energy. I couldn't go out without having to constantly monitor my blood sugar. The worst part was that I could not enjoy my time with my family because I always felt miserable. I went to help my son move out of his apartment and was unable to help him because my blood sugar kept crashing. I was depressed and resigned that my life would be in this miserable rut of sugar spikes and crashes, that is until I saw my wife's success with Mary. Fantastic experience: After seeing my weight gain and the results of my blood work during my recent physical, I knew I needed to make a change. Specifically, aside from the weight gain one alarming result stood out and that is I was showing signs of being pre-diabetic. Per the advice of my physician, I searched for a holistic registered nutritionist and found Mary. I am so glad I did! I was searching for someone who not only was a registered nutritionist but also well experienced with fitness and training-rare to find both. Fantastic experience: Working with Mary entirely changed my relationship with food. I used to pride myself on ‘not caring’ about food (I’m not a ‘foodie’). What that translated to was that I didn’t take the time and care to nourish my body with real food. Instead, I grabbed packaged foods for convenience, thinking I was being smart by consuming processed protein shakes and bars. Mary introduced me to delicious recipes and foods that made eating healthy enjoyable and made cooking fun. Planning, grocery shopping and cooking certainly take time, but that’s the investment and commitment required for good health. And I am committed to eating this way for life, without feeling like I’m giving up the pleasure of delicious, satisfying food. During the time I worked with Mary, I logged my food for Mary to review on a daily basis and followed her customized workout plan. After the Two Week Detox Plan I lost 7 lbs. and completely eliminated food cravings. I also noticed a significant reduction in inflammation of her joints and an increase in energy and stamina.
