Fantastic experience: I have been under chiropractor care since I was a young teen, and have always suffered with back pain and migraines. I have been to all kinds of chiropractors and they always lack that comforting compassion and personal care. When I started seeing Dr. Shawna over five years ago, I immediately felt that connection and I have never looked back again! I recommend Abode to all my friends and new mothers as well! My back pain is now manageable and my migraines are not as frequent. Dr. Shawna helps her patients create sustainability and self care and you will always leave feeling encouraged, refreshed, and maybe a little taller!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Shawna is the absolute best! I came to her about three months ago while I was pregnant. I was having severe lower back pain, and I wanted to be in optimal shape to deliver my baby. Not only is she super personable, she is thorough, and informative. Today when she put me on the table she identified a tightness in my hamstring that was causing my knee to turn inward. When she finished working on me there was an immediate, noticeable improvement!!! What was presenting as the problem was actually the symptom of another problem but it took me lying on the table and allowing her to adjust me in an area where I was out of alignment. It was uncomfortable but the more she adjusted and worked on me I could feel my body coming back into alignment and the pain in my right knee was resolved. Fantastic experience: So I’m almost 6 months pregnant and almost 40 with rapid weight gain and a very achy body. Not to mention baby was breach. With exercise restrictions due to my surrogacy during first trimester I was unable to workout. The aftermath of my very first visit was so amazing! I feel so much relief And baby is no longer breach! I’m going to keep this up until I deliver so I can get back to working out and I won’t be a Rolly Polly after childbirth.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Shawna is good at what she does!! I came in for severe back pain. Getting in and out of the driver's side of a car was painful, bending over then standing was causing spasms. Although I'm not pain free, after three adjustments, I'm standing straighter, my walk is a lot better, and I'm having less pain getting in and out of my car. My only con is I wish I would have seen her early last year! Dr. Shawna and her staff are all friendly. I would definitely recommend Dr. Shawna to any and everyone!! Update October 2024, I've been going for over 2yrs now and I'm happy I made the decision! I'm moving better, sleeping better and walking better! I follow at home regimens recommended by her which helps me in between monthly adjustments! I happily travel a little over an hour for my appointments!

Fantastic experience: Dr.Shawna has supported us through prenatal, postpartum and baby chiropractic care. We are always so happy to visit her office because we leave with a wealth of knowledge and resources. We were told that my baby had a tongue tie and lip tie. Dr.Shawna educated us thoroughly on all of the options for tongue tie. She assessed his condition and affirmed that adjustments would be a great option for him. Dr.Shawna did a few sessions with him and he hasn’t had any issues associated with tongue tie. He latched perfectly. He eats, walks, babbles, talks wonderfully.

Positive experience: Dr. Shawna and her team helped my mom years ago. And after getting hurt while away at school, upon my return home. I instantly thought to reach out to this company in assistance with my back pain. They immediately took me in. My service never felt rushed. She was inviting, knowledgeable and informative about supplements. While receiving treatment I did get into a car accident and during that time she was not taking new accident claims. So I had to seek treatment from another chiropractor. My issue here is that for a lack of misunderstanding on my part and miscommunication from the other chiropractor my treatment agreement was terminated. Dr. Shawna was professional but it did hurt my feelings that we ended that way due to a misunderstanding. Although I am no longer receiving treatment I would still 100% recommend this company, just throughly read through your agreement’s and ask questions so you don’t have the same mistake/issue as me.

Fantastic experience: I came to get a spinal adjustment when I was about 36 weeks pregnant and it felt so good ! Within our conversation during my visit Dr Shawna asked me if my baby was head down yet but I didn’t know so she asked me to find out at my next appointment which was the following week and let me know that if he wasn’t she knew techniques to help turn baby. My appointment was the following week and unfortunately they did an ultrasound snd baby was “Frank Breech”. I called Dr.Shawna office immediately! The receptionist said there wasn’t any availability but I asked them to leave an urgent message because I only had 2 weeks to make him go head down or else they would schedule me a cesarean which I strongly did not want- Dr.Shawna called back personally and scheduled me in. She performed Webster technique and At week my 38 week ob visit baby was in birthing position!! Not only was I able to deliver vaginally because of her , but I literally had such a quick and easy labor and delivery ! He was born healthy within only 4 pushes and I had zero pain. I owe you Dr.Shawna. Thank you sooooooo much! I recommend all my expecting moms to look into prenatal chiropractic care with her!

She’s very gentle while adjusting and thorough in telling you why she’s doing what she’s doing. Her office and staff are very friendly and inviting. She also now cares for our baby girl and she’s very gentle, loving with her. There are some doctors that are just in it for a pay check and then you have doctors that genuinely care about others health & wellbeing. Dr. Shawna is definitely the latter of the two. Grateful to be in her care.

Positive experience: This business has a warm, friendly atomsphere, great customer service as well. Dr. Shawna, projects a sincere care for her patients and she is very knowledegable. She took care of me throughout my entire pregnancy. The only thing I would have liked more if my visits didn't seem a bit rushed at times & if I had received some resources on how to improve the persistent hip and back issues during pregnancy rather than being adjusted as a temporary solution on a weekly basis. I didn't know this then, but some hip pain and back pain is a result of weak muscles. So, improving the strength of my muscles could have helped me with not having to visit so often.

Fantastic experience: I am above and beyond impressed by the consistent professionalism, timeliness, cleanliness, and care I have received from Conyers Holistic. This practice was recommended by my Midwife (who is awesome, btw) and this has been one of the best recommendations anyone has EVER given me!!! Although I'm 25 weeks pregnant and came for adjustments for holistic reasons, I injured my arm over a year ago at work. I had an MRI performed and completed 3 months of physical therapy. My left shoulder continued to have a consistent dull throbbing feeling that no matter how much stretching, ice, heat, or massaging I did or paid someone else to do wouldn't go away. I had accepted the realization that this was my normal. Then, I met Dr. Shawna!!! She ask me was I having issues anywhere, and my response was about my shoulder and that it couldn't be fixed because nothing has worked. Why did I say that.....it became her mission to fix the "unfixable," and boy has she succeeded! I literally felt better after the first session, but I didn't tell her nor did I write a review. I wanted to sleep and exercise with my shoulder and really see how I felt. Man, let me tell you......I feel like new money!! My shoulder feels like it did two years ago, regular motion and no pain. I have lost almost 60 lbs since starting and Dr Shawna has been the best coach and motivator to become my best self. I love the all natural Holistic approach that she takes and she has been able to get me off of 4 different allergy meds that I was on to just taking 2 natural allergy pills. I also recently started Chiropractic adjustments for the first time and the experience was amazing and I can't wait to have more. Fantastic experience: This place is heaven sent :)! I love Dr Shawna and the whole staff ! It’s really a family and they are all loving and caring! I have yet to find a doctor as caring as Dr Shawna . The staff follow up as promised and if they don’t have an answer for you they will find one !
