Fantastic experience: The staff at Total Chiropractic & Wellness Center is amazing. I went in having terrible pains in my back and neck. Later, I was introduced to Dr. Nadeau who clearly explained and made me aware of my situation. Because of the professional practices and work ethics of Dr. Nadeau and her staff (Ms. Shannon and Ms. Janae) my situation has greatly improved! The Total Chiropractic & Wellness Center is cost effective, has staff that provides greatly clarity in their communication, and cares about improving their clients overall health.

I went to Dr. Nadeau on recommendation from a fellow jazzercise colleague after having an issue with tightness and knee pain. I couldn't be more pleased with the service and care I have received. First of all, Dr. Nadeau cured my vertigo, which had been an issue for over 5 years. Then she and her staff began helping me with my tightness, due to my IT band, and subsequent knee pain. I'm still in the process of getting my treatment. But, I can say I've improved quite a bit and am excited to continue with my care with them. Fantastic experience: I suffered from debilitating pain in my heel. I asked my fitness center owner if he recommended a chiropractor. He gave me Dr. Nadeau’s name and because of her experience, careful diagnosis and treatment, the pain is gone. No surgery which was the other option. Fantastic experience: Dr. Nadeau is very perceptive. The manner in which she asks questions about your condition or what you are experiencing, shows she is intuitive and not only listens to you, but she listens to what the body is saying also. Dr. Nadeau develops a plan of action that is specific to your needs and her treatments on target. I am experiencing sciatic nerve pain and after my sessions with her, my pain has been greatly reduced, my range of motion has improved as well as my posture. What lead me to her was the information contained on her website and after having my consultation, I knew I found the right doctor, after an exhausting 3 month search. I am very pleased with my results and progress. Also Shannon does an excellent job of keeping you informed of your appointments, providing instructions for your exercises and keeping the environment clean.

Fantastic experience: It's been about 8 years now since I have started seeing Dr. Nadeau and her fabulous staff at Total Chiropractic. I always feel welcomed and truly cared for from arrival to check out. Dr. Nadeau is attentive, knows my history and can tell easily when something has changed, good or bad, in my body. She listens to my concerns and not only address them right at that moment, but to also works with me to create a plan to help reverse and/or prevent whatever created the concern. My career is physically taxing, but with her extensive knowledge and the strength training exercises/stretches she teaches you, I have been able to keep my spine and joints in a happier place. and not do permanent damage.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Dr.Nadeau if you are suffering from any back ailments. I have been in her care since October 2020 with a L5-S1 protruding disc and my recovery has been phenomenal. She knows what she’s talking about and knows how to fix what is wrong with you specifically. She listens to you and listens to your body. She cares and her staff does as well. I’m currently undergoing massage therapy with cupping and I’m extremely happy with the results. My therapist is Kirsten and she is unbelievable with her hands. Give them a try you will not regret it.

Negative experience: Not sure where to start with this office but I guess i'll start with how rude Shannon, the front office "manager" was from the very start. I decided to still give this place a try because of the great reviews about the doctor. My first visit was great and the doctor was very thorough which gave me hope that someone was finally listening and able to help ease my pain. To make a very long story short there was a mix up with what my insurance was telling me and what Shannon was quoting me. I was never upset or angry towards her just wanted be sure we were correct on the amount I was paying since I paid over $300 for 3 visits when I usually just have a $40 copay. I called a week ahead of my last visit so that we could straighten out the amount I was responsible for and was told she would figure it out and call me back. she never did. the day of my last appt I walked in and she immediately said "you have a deductible not a copay and the insurance will tell you whatever you wanna hear all they want is your money". I was shocked to hear her talk this way as I feel that is a very unprofessional approach. I work with insurance in a medical office myself and would never tell a patient that. I decided to call the insurance myself while I was in the back getting some treatment done. the insurance told me I had a copay NOT deductible so he wanted to speak with Shannon to get things straightened out. My treatment finished so I grabbed my purse and walked towards the front so he could speak to her. She snatched my phone and walked away bickering with the insurance. asked me to "come see this" and showed me the computer explaining my benefits. gave me back my phone and proceeded to check another patient in then turned towards me and says "so you gonna leave or what" I responded by saying "no ma'am I am going to finish my visit today since I have paid" she then tells me "well you need to go sit down" then the doctor comes out of the room and instantly sides with her horribly rude employee.. I'm assuming they are friends or sisters because no professional doctor would ever allow this. I told her how Shannon was being rude to me and THE DOCTOR said "no she wasn't I was listening to the whole thing we can go ahead and refund your money " so at this point the doctor did not care to treat me anymore and decides to kick me out. telling me that I should "have more empathy since Shannon is the only one working the office and they are understaffed" continuously making excuses for her behavior. I asked "so you don't think it's rude to ask me if I'm going to leave instead of trying to figure this out" then Shannon jumps in by saying "I asked her because she grabbed her purse and came to the front" yes....I grabbed my belongings because I did not want to leave them in a random open room. The doctor then proceeds to tell me " oh well I didn't hear that part" hmmm interesting since you said you heard everything. she then says "we're refunding the money on the card and I wont argue with someone who has no sympathy" and all sorts of stuff. I find it very odd that you would like me to have sympathy for someone who was so rude to me but yet neither of you care to treat someone that is in pain all because of a misunderstanding on the insurance. which NOT ONCE did I disrespect them, or even say that I wasn't going to keep coming. I very calmly wanted to know my benefits as ANYONE would and was kicked out for this. horrible horrible customer service and I can see why they are understaffed. I would not want to work with Shannon. I am almost 100% sure the "owner" will respond to this review with a million and one excuses. sounds like you guys are the ones who lack empathy... and all for money. so sad

They make you feel welcomed and explains everything from start to finish. My insurance benefits was explained to me before I came in that Dr. Nadeau was out of network. I was a little skeptical of going being that I was out of network but I had already heard great things about Total Chiropractic & Wellness Center, so I went. After consulting with Dr. Nadeau and listening to her detail of diagnosis and how involved she was in making my back better long term and not short term I was very impressed. Dr. Nadeau chairside manner and caring approach was unbelievable. I didn't feel rushed nor taken advantage of financially. This facility is not about money and is all about your road to recovery and the best plan that works for "your" body. I decided to move forward with the recommended treatment plan knowing I could have went elsewhere in network. The care and sincerity over weighed the insurance coverage. While looking for the right place and the the right doctor, I stumbled across Total Chiropractic and Dr. Yvette. Dr. Yvette took me in and immediately understood my pain and began initiating the right care for my condition while taking the time to explain what I was going through and how it could be fixed. She is a fantastic doctor that welcomes everyone with a loving heart. She has an awesome staff that are just as loving and caring. Fantastic experience: Dr. Yvette Nadeau is amazing!! I went to another chiropractor in the area, who makes you pay out of pocket and you go thru "stations" (being adjusted, then neck "hanging" and then a vibrating pad you step on) and it was not helping my hip at all! I went back to Dr. Nadeau (which I should have gone to her in the first place!) and she got me out of pain and walking almost normal! I'm telling you...don't go anywhere else! And yes she takes most insurance!

Fantastic experience: This has been a great experience for me. From the time my treatment started and even still today, I have been totally satisfied. Dr. Nadeau does an excellent job in tailoring your treatment plan based on your personal situation. My pain level is almost non existent and with my continued treatment I know that I will soon be back to normal.

Negative experience: The only thing you will hear in this center is money. And how much you need to pay for every movement you will do!!! Your health is not the priority. Do not let them take your credit card information. They will charge you without your permission "IT IS ON THE AGREEMENT" this is how they protect themselves.

Fantastic experience: I came to be treated by Dr. Nadeau on the recommendation of my primary care doctor. A couple of months ago, I developed a click where my leg connects into the hip. While it was not painful, the clicking when I walked was highly annoying and a clear sign that I was out of alignment. Since I had never been to a chiropractor before, I was not sure what to expect. From the first visit, I thought I had come to the right place. After a thorough evaluation and assessment, including onsite X-rays, I was disheartened to learn that my spine is showing significant degeneration. Dr. Nadeau patiently explained her recommendations for treatment to not only address my hip clicking, but also to strengthen my back and slow down further degeneration. She uses a multi-faceted approach ... no one trick pony here ... that was individually developed for me. I am feeling so much better since treatment started, the clicking is going away and friends have recently commented on the improvement in my posture and gait. Dr. Nadeau and her assistant, Shannon, provide a welcoming and caring environment. I highly recommend them and Total Chiropractic.

Her thoroughness of my treatment plan assures me that she has my best interest at heart. Her treatment of my lower back has helped me regain movement and eased my pain. I owe her a great deal of gratitude for knowing exactly what I needed and more importantly, what I didn’t need. Her demeanor is always upbeat and high energy. Fantastic experience: Dr. Nadeau is a very personable, yet professional, and knowledgeable doctor of chiropractic. She has been my chiropractor for about 7 years, and keeps me walking. I have referred many people to her, some of whom were dissatisfied with their current chiropractor or just tired of taking pills which were prescribed by their medical doctor. Dr. Nadeau not only excels in Chirpractic, but treats the entirety of "you" through her vast knowledge of the body's nutritional needs. I would highly recommend you visit her for your body's well-being.

Fantastic experience: I went to Dr. Yvette Nadeau with a lot of shoulder plan. She put me on a treatment plan that was very affordable for me. Her treatments included electro stimulation, in-office exercises, acupuncture, adjustments and other things to relieve the pain. She was also able to locate the source of the pain and really worked the muscles and connective tissue. I was very impressed and the improvement over time. She also sent me home to do daily stretches and exercises to improve my shoulder condition. I trust Total Chiro Care and wouldn't go to any other chiropractor. Dr. Nadeau really cares for her patients. You can tell she isn't really out to make a quick buck, but she really evaluates the whole person to get to the bottom of the issue to achieve long term success.

Negative experience: The treatments that I received did help, but I noticed some inconsistencies in the treatments as well as Yvettes theories of treatment. It seems this was done to fill her schedule. I was advised by Yvette that the "supervised exercises" were much more effective when done there because they are to be done after the EMS, traction and adjustment. These exercises were far from supervised as Yvette was two doors down with the door closed, this is also known as INSURANCE FRAUD! My next to last visit I was told to do my exercises first, I then reminded her of the EMS, traction and adjustment story that she told me a couple of days prior. Yvette then made up another story to justify this passing of time while she worked on someone else. I went along with it, then on my next visit after waiting 15 minutes she asked me to start on the exercises again. At this point I advised her that I was not willing to perform (and pay for) the exercises prior to the EMS, traction and adjustment being that she insisted that I pay for the exercises there because they are more effective. Yvette got rather beligerant with me at which point I left and chose to discontinue treatment. Yvette left me a nasty voice mail on my cell phone referring to me as defiant, stating that we had a personality conflict and suggesting that she refer me to another chiropractor! I did a bit of research on her and her radiological technician license is non existant, you know, the one she needs to have done the x rays on me! MAJOR INSURANCE FRAUD! UPDATE!!! Apparently Yvette cannot take a negative review, she has hired an attorney to threaten me with a lawsuit if I do not remove my negative review!! Really? She is attempting to threaten my First Amendment of the Constitution of the United States of America rights! If you do bad work you WILL get negative reviews!!

Fantastic experience: I have always been impressed with Dr. Nadeau. I'm usually apprehensive about going to a chiropractor, but Dr. Nadeau has become my Sugar Land chiropractor of choice. She's always taken time to listen to my questions and address all my issues one at a time. She's also very good about educating me about my overall health, as that plays a crucial part in my recovery. Anytime I have back pain, neck pain, or any nerve pain, Dr. Nadeau is my first line of defense. I was also surprised at the information about nutrition she gave. Apparently she isn't just a chiropractor but a sports nutritionist as well and has treated several professional athletes. I feel better knowing they can trust her. Dr. Nadeau has changed my mind about chiropractic care.

Fantastic experience: I have received some very helpful chiropractic stretching techniques from Dr. Nadeau. She spent time educating me on the value of rehabilitation the natural way rather than immediately seeking medications and surgery, as well as the ins and outs of how the body works together. Proper nutrition was another great thing she shared with me. I feel I can take better care of myself because of her Chiropractic knowledge and wealth of nutrition advice and practical tips for staying healthy. She and her assistant are both very nice and treated me very nicely.
