Fantastic experience: Overall, great experience! I needed to change my appointment the same day of and they made it happen. They were very accommodating. My masseuse, I believe her name was Stephanie (I’m terrible with names), was awesome. She was very professional and you can just tell when someone has your best interest at heart. I would definitely recommend this place and definitely planning on going back!

Negative experience: My husband made an appointment for a back massage for the next morning. When we arrived for the appointment, there were no lights on and no cars outside. My husband knocked on the door and no one answered. We arrived at 9 am but the therapist did not show up and did not call. My husband was in a lot of pain and did not receive service. We were traveling for the week and the owner made the appointment and did not follow through with it.

Fantastic experience: Love, love, love Adobe Day Spa & Chiropractics. Have been there twice and loved the services and kind employees both times. If we lived closer we would definitely go more often, but for now it's our yearly vacation "treat yourself"/self care moment place.

They were very thorough and took time to work knots out of different areas. Highly recommend stopping in for a massage when in the Ruidoso area. We will be back.

Fantastic experience: We went there in April 2023 and it was a great experience. The staff and owner were super friendly and very helpful. Mine and my wife's massages were fantastic. After we got done with our massage, our car wouldn't start. The battery had decided to just quit all together. The owner came out and helped us take the battery out and get a new one. If that's not customer service I don't know what it is. We are going back this April and have already made our appointment. Look forward to it.

Fantastic experience: I made an appointment at Adobe Day Spa & Chiropractics following a long road trip to Ruidoso and a day of snowboarding with serious back pain and tightness in my hips/hamstrings. I was hobbling around before my WONDERFUL deep tissue massage. I wish I could remember my female practitioner's name as she deserves a personal shoutout, but it was a few weeks ago and the name has slipped my mind. This place was quaint, clean, professional and she really saved my bacon before I had to get back in a car for my 10+ hour drive home. Thanks again!

Negative experience: Booked appointment 3 days in advance. Guy calls 40 minutes before appointment to see if we really are planning to come. When I said yes, he acted disgusted that he was going to have to work that day. Said he would call his office manager to see if she could come in. Called back and said she couldn’t. Totally unprofessional for a business. DO NOT RECOMMEND. UPDATE TO NOTE THAT WE LITERALLY DROVE UP TO SKI APACHE 30 MINUTES LATER WITHOUT CHAINS. (behind countless other vehicles) Also once this review posted on google review, the owner of this business went to my place of business in Texas and left a bad Google review there (of which he has never even been to) and sent me a threatening text stating he was going to sue me. This guy is off the chain.

Negative experience: Called to get an appointment which I did for later that day. I arrive and the guy is a chiropractor not a masseuse. Really! If I wanted a chiropractor I would have asked for that in advance. What a Joke.

Fantastic experience: Dr. McMinn and Crystal were absolutely fantastic! I booked an hour couples massage for my husband and I for our 4 year anniversary and was able to book with ease online. I called to confirm a couple of days before, as it looked like a busy weekend for Ruidoso in general. Dr. McMinn was very professional and did great with confirming that our appointment went through. My husband and I were in HEAVEN! Cozy little spot and both staff members did incredible with focusing on our stress points. Very relaxing, best massage I’ve ever had! I work at a desk during work and my husband farms, so it was nice to get those tensed up muscles to relax. We will be back again, guaranteed! Thank you Adobe Day Spa for the perfect ending to our anniversary trip!!

Fantastic experience: Me and my husband got a couple massage and had never gotten a massage before. I am currently 30 weeks pregnant and it was just the relief of stress that I needed. My husband also really enjoyed it too he works in a welding shop lifting lots of heavy metals so he said it was amazing for all his soar muscles. For anyone not shur I would highly recommend this place I will definitely be coming back.

Positive experience: I gave this place a four out of five stars because they were super friendly and gave us mimosas while we waited.. There were six of us, and they did their best to accommodate us. Two of us had to wait. It wasn’t a problem. We all got massages that were good, and two of us got reflexology on our feet, which was just a mere foot rub. Two other issues that we ran across was that someone walked in without knocking on the door while we were getting dressed, and the bathroom toilet was dirty. (Not really a good impression.) and it wasn’t one Of us since we just arrived.. I don’t usually like to leave reviews like this, but I feel like this is information that could help your business and future clients. We are returning again in August for a yearly trip. Not sure if we will contact you. I was reading the reviews prior and I understand how frustrating it can be when people are giving you negative reviews. But your responses were a little on the unprofessional side.

Negative experience: The "Doctor" was awful. Wifey hated the massage, and thought he was unprofessional. The lady was awesome. Also, there was no heads up the couples massage would be done by a man. This made it very awkward and uncomfortable for my wife.

Crystal and Stephanie did a great job and both of us enjoyed our massages. I have physical disabilities and the ladies offered information about resources which may be available to me back home. Negative experience: We were visiting and were suppose to have our couples massage today and when we arrived he told us that our appointment is tomorrow not today, even though on the phone when i made the appointment my wife and me both heard it clear that our appointment is on Friday the 11th! Its my wife’s birthday and that was one of the surprises for her ‍♂️

Negative experience: Great massage therapist. Grumpy old Doctor owns it. Don't be late or he'll scold you like a child,,,even if you pay for the time slot. Insane. BTW I was not 25 min. Late and I paid you for the whole hour even though I only got a 30 min appt. This was my birthday gift. Also, I had an appt for 1:00 not 11:00, thats Why you had to keep texting me because I was celebrating my birthday. I set it for one because I knew I wouldn't be ready by 11 but you all changed it... After you had a schedule set up on Google that I made an appointment on at 1 and 130.

Negative experience: My husband and I went in for a couples massage and facial for our honeymoon getaway. My husbands massage was good he said. Mine was probably one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had, I go get massages once every few months and this was awful. I told him my trouble spots and he not once touched on those. Every where else is rubbed raw from him rubbing the same spot over and over again but didn’t work any of my muscles. I left wanting to go get a massage else where because my muscles were dying for some attention. I’ll pay the extra money and go else where next time or get one before going on vacation.

Fantastic experience: My massage with Crystal was fabulous! She was able to work out the stress knots in my back. Very professional and caring about my comfort. I had a 90-minute therapeutic massage that was fantastic.. and the massage was actually 90 minutes….not 80 like some places. The building looks like a house but the inside is very well decorated and very clean. If you book online, be sure to call and confirm the appointment. The online booking service is not always reliable. Yes, I will use them again.

Fantastic experience: We went to check it out in October for my birthday. We were beyond impressed. It was amazing. After my mommy passed, my fiance knew I needed to be spoiled once again and we just took a quick trip so he could make sure I could relax once again. These people are amazing. They pay attention to what your body needs and how to help you best. I wish they were closer so I could go more often. I wish I could say more.... Best ever! Truly! Also has chiropractor on site, steam room for afyer or hot tub for before... just saying.

The employees here are extremely professional and are eager to put there best foot (or palm) forward when it comes to there service. Their massage technique was amazing and even with my twitchy back, they where able to make me relax in a way I havent felt like in years. To keep this simple, look beyond the exterior of this wonderful spa and step inside for pure relaxation.

Negative experience: They have that you can schedule an appointment online. I booked a couples stone massage and an hour before we were scheduled to go we get a call to say that he doesn’t have that time available (it was available online) and he’s only one person and can’t do it. If that’s the case then they need to remove the online scheduling since he’s only “one person” never ever again.

Negative experience: When I walked in I was asked to take a seat. I went to sit on the couch. He said, "no, sit in the chair." Their were two chairs. I thought they looked more like decoration, one was high up like a barstool the other small, like one you would push up to a table for a child to eat at. I asked "which one?" He pointed at the little one. It felt like a prank to me. I then asked "why?" He got upset with me and told me "that it's easier to clean a chair instead of the couch. That made perfect sense to me. Unfortunately considering his poor communication and short temper, I felt that this could only get worse. I left.

Fantastic experience: My niece and I are visiting from Austin and each got a 90 minute massage. Dr. David McMinn did my massage and Stephanie was my niece’s massage therapist. David offers an excellent deep tissue with very good working body mechanics knowledge that one would expect of an experienced chiropractor.

My guy and I came from Alamogordo one night after work and they were able to get us in. Not to mention the massage itself was perfect. We felt leaving so refreshed and relaxed. Def will go back.

We had an overpriced couples massage in a shack by unprofessional people. *Editing this post to respond to the owner who decided to mock my review like a child. I don't how the owner makes the inference im from Dallas TX? As a matter of fact I have lived in Ruidoso for 7 years and NM all my life. He did have one good however. I didn't look at the pics of his business prior to making my appointment. If I had looked at the pics I wouldn't have made an appointment. I was embarrassed that I took my girlfriend here because of the unprofessional services and pooly kept building. To everyone that reads these reviews...make an appointment at "Blue Lotus," "Mountain Massage" at the Elegante or "Bella Vita". You get a better experience for your money at these places

Negative experience: Worst experience I have EVER had!!! We called 2 weeks ahead from out of town to make an appointment. Appointment was made no problem very friendly on the phone. They offer Sunday appointments. HOWEVER, we showed up for the couples massage 1 hour special with 30 minutes in the Sauna, ran into the owner leaving and they were closed, we said we were here for our appointment, walked in said we do not have an appointment for you but he did call a girl in and waited 30 minutes who remembered our appointment but forgot to write it down however she was very nice and sorry (hope she realizes she deserves a new job with a better boss!) So we decided to wait. 1 girl showed up for a "Couples Massage" so he stepped in obviously not knowing how to perform a massage at all, he had rouge hands, had been working outside so he smelled awful, and had absolutely NO massage etiquette! I felt like I just had lotion rubbed on for $140!!!! We finished and expecting to get in the Sauna, he then said we cannot do that today he is "running us off" because he has 6 ladies waiting for their scheduled appointment in the Sauna!!!!!!! Why were we treated so different and we had an appointment compared to his next appointment waiting! On top of that NO apology and NO discount or compensation for their mistake! What ever happened to good customer service?

Positive experience: Couples massage was fantastic! Very relaxing. Easily booked with fairly short notice, during Valentines week. I would recommend and go back for sure.

Fantastic experience: We moved to ruidoso less then a year ago. And I suggested a couples massage. We called early morning, lvm, and received call back and were booked at 1 pm for a massage together. Place was quaint and cozy. Person at desk was friendly, and owner came out and offered a glass of wine or water. Then we were brought to our room, the electric blanket was wonderful, and there was place to put our arms and hands. (my boyfriend's arms are long). Our therapists came in, introduced themselves, and asked what kind of massage we needed and asked throughout. And then to keep warm after our backs were done, warm packs were place on our backs, it was wonderful. My boyfriend recently had surgery, radiation, and chemo, and this was just what his body needed. We were in heaven. We will be back to try the infrared sauna. and the Area is beautiful.

Fantastic experience: Very friendly and professional! A friend and I lucked out, they had a cancellation and was able to fit us in same day! My friend had a facial and I had a massage. My massage was fantastic! The interior of the spa was very nice and calming. The girl that did my massage was very nice and accommodating. She did an amazing job. I have to try their facials next time because my friend looked like her skin was glowing for the next few days after. All in all, we had a A+ experience there and I will defiantly be going back and recommending friends and family to go!

Positive experience: I received a gift certificate for my birthday for a one hour massage. I was very impressed. Before my massage started i was given a very thorough explanation of what my massage entailed. They were also able to get my in right away on short notice. I'd come back again!

Fantastic experience: I live in Ruidoso during the Summer and had 5 girlfriends visit from Dallas. When we called the Adobe the person answering was friendly and informative. They were able to accomodate us that day in two shifts. ALL of us enjoyed our massages and if I need a massage or have friends visit again I will call Adobe Spa.

It was easy to book a massage on short notice, and the facilities were nice, relaxing, and clean. Dr. McMinn and Cali were both incredibly skilled, professional, and friendly. As my boyfriend and I both like very deep pressure, we are often left disappointed by massages. However, this one was amazing! The massages were customized to our preferences, they hit every "spot," and we left tingling! We wish we lived here so we could go all of the time! We may come back to Rudioso just to come here for a massage!! Plus the price was in our budget! Highly recommend them!!!
