G&G Fitness Equipment - Buffalo

Fantastic experience: I went to G&G to upgrade my Inspire corner gym to one on sale that featured cables that could be moved onto a Smith machine bar. Mike G. approached me and showed me the machine I was there to look at. After some discussion, he recommended I look at the cage unit with three sets of cables and a Smith machine bar that used free weights instead of the one I was there to see originally. Nothing wrong with the first one, but for my workouts, the cage system was definitely the way to go. It wasn’t on sale and was more expensive, but Mike and his associate included the extra weights for the cable stacks and knocked some money off the price to compensate for it not being on sale. This was done purely for good customer service and sealed the deal regarding my decision to go with the cage system. They quickly arranged for delivery, set-up, and payment. Their company that brought and expertly assembled my new machine even disassembled and moved my old one to a friend’s house a few miles from where I live. The ONLY thing I was a little disappointed with was the high cost of delivery and set-up/assembly of my new machine. I certainly don’t think I was ripped off, just a little surprised it was as much as it was. They were upfront with me about it though and I didn’t want the warranty to be affected if the machine became damaged due to faulty assembly by me. I have bought a lot of very nice and expensive exercise equipment from G&G over the years and will continue to do so because they really make you feel comfortable and very important as a customer. I highly recommend them based on quality of their merchandise, expert and courteous sales people, attentiveness and speed regarding delivery and, like I said, the respect they treat their customers with. I love the new Inspire gym and my home workouts have never been better. Such a great place to do business with!

Fantastic experience: We had a great experience purchasing our treadmill. This is the third piece of equipment we have bought in the last few years and we will only shop at G&G. Kurt and Mike were extremely helpful and not pushy and the delivery guys were great too! We had also visited Pacillo while we were shopping and had the worst experience. There wasn’t anyone in the store and the two guys behind the counter didn’t even acknowledge us when my husband and I walked in.. apparently their conversation was more important. G&G was great!!

Because I have an adult daughter with developmental disabilities, it isn't easy for me to get out. Richard answered my numerous emails promptly, with definite knowledge about this machine and that it would be perfect for me with my arthritic knees. Had an appointment with Richard to try it out in their store and he was professional, courteous, and never pressured. Bought it that day and set up delivery and set up in my home. Once it was here...after very professional expert assembly, I just couldn't quite figure out how to use the programs. Mike, the manager, came right out to my home and showed me step by step, answered any and all questions I had. Just a totally very positive customer experience! Each and every person I came into contact with from G&G told me not to hesitate if I had any questions. I use the elliptical 2 to 3 times each day and love it! After researching equipment I found that a local fitness retailer, G&G Fitness, carried all the top brands and even offered assembly, unlike buying equipment from random internet sites. I was put in contact with Mike A. who walked me through the process every step of the way. Mike offered very competitive deals from the start and even threw in some extras along the way. My equipment was then assembled by a team of G&G professionals who put gym equipment together for a living (you can tell the difference). I would definitely go through G&G again and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to purchase gym equipment! Positive experience: Adam was great, I needed guidance on what type of elliptical I needed. I haven't used it a lot yet but I can feel the quality in the machine. I was in rehab a couple of years ago and this feels as good as the professional equipment I used there. I purchased Precor treadmill at G & G years ago and happy with both purchases. I did have a little trouble getting the correct paper work, but I got it and all is good

Positive experience: Great equipment and knowledgeable staff

Negative experience: Elliptical is great. Customer service was as poor as can be. I pretty much made the sale easy for them as I knew what I wanted. After paying for one of their high end elliptical machines it did work after installation. The installers crushed one of the main cords to the machine. Accidents happen, but I understand. It was the lack of communication by Asst. Manager who sold me the machine that bothered me the most. After almost 2 weeks of non-use after it was delivered, I finally had the part installed. Tech guy Kevin was great. Dan, however who sold me the machine was quick to do the salesman job when I came in initially, but never kept in contact with me during the process. Never even followed up after the situation to see how things were going. Not how I would've handled the situation.

Fantastic experience: We have an entire basement of equipment from G&G Fitness. A few years ago we were looking for an elliptical and my husband is much taller and heavier than I am so it was particularly hard to nail down what would work for both of us. We looked at every place around and finally came in to talk to Dan Bell who found the PERFECT elliptical that would fit both of us, which turned out to be an Octane Q47 elliptical. So when we recently finished off a new section of our basement to expand our workout area we went right back to him and G&G without even thinking about going somewhere else. The same as the first time we stopped in he found the perfect gym, the Inspire Fitness M3, and the perfect treadmill, the Life Fitness Platinum Club!
