Fantastic experience: Dr Michelle is a pro through and through. I have never sat before in an evaluation where someone listened so intently to the why's of my condition. There is no doubt she truly cares and wants to help you feel better. If you have any aches, pains especially ones you feel might be incurable, you should be sitting with Dr Michelle.

Fantastic experience: I wanted to write a review for Dr. Michelle Iona because she has been a life saver for me. I was struggling with migraines for the last ten years. I used to get them once a month or so and for the last three years the migraines had been getting progressively worse and more often. I was skeptical about acupuncture but am so thankful that I chose her. She is so kind and informative on ways to help so that I prevent getting migraines in addition to improving my overall general health. The acupuncture does not hurt at all and more importantly it works! I was trying all different kinds of medicine that would hopefully help for the pain, but it did not help with why I was getting them. Dr. Iona helped me narrow down what was causing the migraines and she was right. I have been headache free for over four weeks and every day without a headache is a blessing. Fantastic experience: At the recommendation of my Niece, I have been a patient of Dr. Michelle Iona for a little over a month now. The first time of our telemedicine session, what struck me was her tremendous attention to detail. She spent close to an hour probing my entire medical history, blood tests etc, with precision. Specifically, I suffer from a very rare form of Muscular Dystrophy “FSHD”. This muscle wasting disease currently has no cure, however there is some hope with various drug trials, and possible FDA approval for some of them, fingers crossed. However when or if it becomes a reality, being 68 years of age, my best protocol from when I was first diagnosed in 2019 was to think positive, and keep active with no “woe is me here” and push forward. As a result, I have added Healing Points Acupuncture to my approach in fighting this ferocious disease. Even though my tenure has been of short duration, her wanting to research FSHD while drilling down best practices simultaneously, makes her a wonderful person and clinician. Fantastic experience: I became a patient of Dr. Michelle's by fate, which I am very thankful for. Last year at this time I had been getting over severe shoulder pain which limited my lifestyle a great deal. After many tests, Xrays and MRIs, the doctors could not pinpoint for sure the exact issue but were recommending surgery regardless. During the 'off-season', after resting, epidurals in my neck, trigger point therapy, medication and 6 months of physical therapy the pain was at a bearable state but still there. Being in a hospitality/catering position, I could not afford to let this get any worse once the 'season' started. I started going to Dr. Michelle and since then I have been able to keep my shoulder and neck issues in check and have been able to keep working with no more crippling flare-ups. She is very thorough, covering all areas of my well-being and adjusting treatment based on my current needs. And she not only provides acupuncture, but also offers cupping, FSM treatment, and always guides me to holistic/herbal remedies and different western medicine. Fantastic experience: Where do I even begin? I hadn't yet been to an acupuncturist upon arriving back home and, of course, I was a little nervous trying to find the right person to help me. The initial conversation I had with Dr. Iona presented a very grounded practitioner with a helluva lot of knowledge in the wellness space. Negative experience: I was not satisfied with the service Dr. Iona provided. It was my first experience with acupuncture, so I didn’t not know what to expect. I tried to remain open, but her approach just did not fit my needs. I prefer to have my providers full attention. Dr.Iona seemed very scattered and rushed during the phone appointment and both treatment sessions. She was late to the phone appointment, excused herself for a few minutes to attend to something else, and signed off the call before the hour was complete. She then recalled information wrong from the phone interview when we were in person, making me to wonder if she was even paying attention at all. I didn’t appreciate her demeanor during treatment sessions. She seemed irritated… which does not facilitate a healing environment in my opinion. I went seeking relief for my chronic back pain and I did not find it with Dr.Iona. I would not recommend her.

Fantastic experience: Dr Michelle is the best! I got a concussion when I fell wakeboarding and thought my entire summer was going to be over. I’m only 15 and it was also my 3rd concussion so I extra nervous. She moved her schedule around to fit me in and after 5 sessions I was back! Fantastic experience: My review is long over due. Dr. Iona helped me so much in my second pregnancy. I could not get up from bed alone due to my lower back pain and knee pains. Fantastic experience: Recently I had knee replacement surgery which activated my sciatic nerve in the same leg. Fantastic experience: Several weeks ago I could hardly walk my dog around the block because of the back pain I was having. Pain level was around 9. Fantastic experience: Dr. Iona is an extremely dedicated healer! She incorporates her knowledge and skill of acupuncture, Chinese medicine and other modalities along with diet and mindfulness to help heal the whole person. She has been treating me for a serve inflammation of De Quervain tendonitis with wonderful results... when I began my acupuncture treatments with her I could not move my thumb and hand without severe pain, at this point I am just about pain free.
