Fantastic experience: I had planned at stopping at a Chiropractor at some point due to some back issues. Lucky for me, we had someone from Dr. Hecker's team stop by my job to offer a special for an exam and adjustment at a very nice price. The examination revealed to me that I was all kinds of twisted and needed some work done. Dr. Hecker put me on a 3-month plan to recovery. I was skeptical but I wanted to start somewhere with my back issues, so I jumped aboard the ship. Let me tell you, his methods work. Dr. Hecker will not twist you like a pretzel, but his methods have the same results. After about three weeks of treatment, I was able to get out of bed without the fear of my back locking up. I was noticing less back aches and stiffness throughout the days and I was loving it. After my 3-month treatment, results from the final exam showed great improvement and I'm on the track to recovery. Dr. Heckers staff is great; very professional and friendly, and keeps you up to date on your appointments.

Fantastic experience: Favorite doctor ever (so far). I normally hate going to any type of doctor in Las Vegas, and I had never been to a chiropractor so I wasn’t too sure what to expect. I’m 24 so I wasn’t expecting too many things wrong, but I had more than I expected. The doctor explained everything in detail with me and laid out a treatment plan. The appts are short and sweet and I always feel better afterwards. The staff is very sweet. You can text to reschedule appts and you get appt reminders. The office has a comfortable feel, and is located in a great shopping center. Treatments are gentle. I absolutely recommend!

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Dr Hecker by a colleague as I have had chronic back pain and headaches for the majority of my life. I have seen over 10 different chiropractors, done accu pressure and acupuncture all with little to no success. Prior to the Covid shutdown Dr Hecker had me at a daily pain level of 3’s, that’s down from 7-8 daily. I was impressed and started doing the maintenance program when the shutdown occurred. My pain is back and I finally got around to getting back onto Dr Heckers treatment plan and look forward to the same results I had gotten a few years ago. I believe in his program enough that my entire family is on it now, even though our insurance doesn’t cover it. The end results have been worth paying for.

Fantastic experience: I've been seeing Dr. Hecker for about 2.5 years. When I first began seeing him, I could not rotate my head to the right. Within a week, he gently & painlessly helped me restore full range of motion in my neck. Dr. Hecker serves as health consultant for me to help take care of my whole body. He helps me with headaches, pain & tightness in my neck, shoulders, back and hips. I always get significant pain relief when I see him. But there's more, he once helped me identify the environmental source of a cluster of strange & troubling symptoms (recurrent spells of nausea, vomiting, dizziness and altered sense of smell). He advised me that I might be reacting to gasses emitted from my 19 year old gas stove. I bought a new stove and the symptoms stopped! Voila! Thank you Dr. Hecker. No telling how ill I could have become had I not discussed this issue with him. I should also mention here that his office staff is very professional, warm, friendly & caring. It's always, always a pleasant experience to visit the office. Another thing I really, REALLY like about his clinic is for one reasonable flat fee, I can visit his office as often as I need for an entire year. I've never seen such a generous deal at any healthcare provider office! I never have to worry about how I'm going to pay for the adjustments because they are all pre-paid! What a deal! I highly reccommend Dr. Hecker to anyone who wants top notch chiropractic care for a reasonable price.

Fantastic experience: I was very impressed how Dr Hecker and staff treated my husband from the moment we walked in the clinic. Dr Hecker was very thorough and explained the X-ray results and my husband is responding to the treatments tremendously. I, thinking I’m okay and not needing chiropractic care, was in for a big surprise when Dr Hecker went over my X-rays. I guess you get used to living with your issues!! I was forming what they call “the shelf” where my neck connects to my back, which was a concern of mine. I started treatments immediately! That shelf is now gone! Not only did Dr Hecker relieve the back pain, other medical issues were also resolved, that my medical physician was unable to do. Treatments are totally pain free! Fantastic experience: I had sleepless nights due to the headache caused by my neck. In addition I am also experiencing back pains. Dr Hecker is doing a superb job in alleviating the pain without the jolting and twisting that the traditional chiropractor would have done. Positive experience: Dr. Hicker complained about not getting paid from VA for veterans being referred to him and he denies veterans service using Tricare or Healthnet. Veterans have to pay out of pocket. I think that is very unprofessional to talk about insurance issues with veterans dealing with severe pain and searching for caring doctors to ease pain. The techniques and chiropractic care sounds great though.

Fantastic experience: I've been going here for a while now. Beforehand, I use to have a really bad stance where my weight would always be geared towards one side of my body and I was sticking my waist out a lot to. This caused pain on my lower back. I was very skeptical because I'm not one for doctors or places that apparently help but months later I now have my weight evenly distributed. I almost don't notice it anymore and my lower back pain is basically gone now. I also got xrayed to find out my neck was not aligned correctly which explained my neck pain but month by month and week by week I'm in less and less pain and I can physically tell I'm starting to straighten out. The staff is also incredibly nice and not like any other typical doctors office. I recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

Negative experience: About a week and a half ago, my back went out. I haven’t been to a chiropractor in a good 15 years, so I didn’t know of anyone here in Vegas. I searched the internet near my home in Henderson, and found Spinal Care of Nevada with 49 glowing reviews. I thought, “looks good”, so I scheduled an appointment for Monday February 25th. Note: if you call, they will lead you to believe that they take insurance. Both on the phone and in the office, the receptionist kept saying “we’ll call”. So, after arriving and getting checked in, Dr. Hecker came to the lobby to greet me, and told me he’d be with me shortly. Then I was escorted into a consultation room to watch a video that was “unimpressive”, but I was in pain, and just wanted an alignment done to alleviate the pain. I honestly hadn’t been waiting long, but the doctor kept on coming in and apologizing and telling me he’d be with me shortly. Then, one of his patients came into my consultation room to apologize for keeping me, but as she said ‘there are people in pain out here’. This was a jaw dropping moment for me. I just stared at her, and though ‘how bizzare’. And, I really had not been waiting long at all. But, this was a red flag moment for me. Then the doctor came in, and was doing a bad job of spinning (yes…I could tell, but I was in pain). The initial fee would be $180. They wanted x-rays, and I said “fine…” He also revealed that they don’t even take insurance. So, after the x-rays, and after I paid the $180, I said to the doctor “please tell me you’re going to do an alignment today”. He said, ‘Oh, it’s gonna take a long time to review your x-rays. We don’t have time today’. As I’m leaving the consultation room – there is NOBODY in the place – at which point he says ‘I know it doesn’t look busy, but we’re about to be…’ So, I got booked for my next appointment 2 days later. If you’ve ever had your back go out – 2 days seems like an eternity. I went home that night, and I was angry. I was sure I got scammed. But, the next day I thought ‘oh, you’re in pain…let’s see what happens on Wednesday…’ So, I go in today, and see another unimpressive video, and then the doctor comes in. Worse than any used car salesman, he just starts talking and talking – about nothing. Then he finally gets to my x-rays, and proceeds to tell me that it will take 18 months to fix me. Then he starts referring to ‘when he examined my spine and what he could feel when he did’. WRONG: he NEVER touched my back. What was he talking about? Then he said, ‘well, we called your insurance carrier and you have an HMO, and they don’t cover chiropractic. WRONG: I have fully inclusive PPO with Aetna, and they DO cover chiropractic – and I told him that. Then he dropped his head and said, “well, it’s out of network…” What? At which point he turns over a piece of paper on his clip board to outline that I can pay $2700 for the treatments, or he’ll give me a great deal if I pay everything upfront today for $1900. At this point I said, “we’re done here, I’m not going to waste any more of your time or my money”, and as I stand up and walk out, he’s dropping his head sitting in his chair mumbling and cowering. So, here’s my point – I believe this place is a scam. They could be legit for all I know. But, you have to ask yourself the question “Are you willing to put out $2-3000 to find out?” Not me. And FYI, as soon as I got home, I called another chiropractic clinic who verified that Aetna does cover me, x-rays included, for up to 25 visits. I also contacted my bank to dispute the $180 initial charge, since I believe I got scammed. Enter at your own risk.

Fantastic experience: Since moving from Washington to Nevada, I started going to a pain management doctor for migraines, neck pain with hands going numb and lower back pain with shooting pain down legs. The doctor told me that I would need cortisone shots that would help me for 6 months. So, I had 3 surgeries for the epidural cortisone injections. 1st time, 2 injections on each side of my neck, it lasted 2 weeks. 2nd time, 3 injections on each side of my neck, the relief from pain was the same amount of time. The 3rd time the doctor decided to work on my back, it didn’t work. The doctor told me I would need to go to a neurologist for surgery. It was then I decided to try finding relief thru ‘Gentle Pain Care Centers’ in Henderson with Dr Daniel Hecker. I was skeptical since the medical field could not help me, but I went anyway. I started about November 3, 2017 going 3 times a week and have experienced no numbness or pain related to my neck and lower back and no migraines. I would recommend him to anyone that is hurting with pain. The gals in the office are always upbeat and welcoming everyone by first name. The atmosphere is friendly and freshly baked in office cookies welcomes everyone!

Dr. Hecker's staff welcomed me as a walk-in and was able to work me into their bustling line up of congenial clients. I was struck by the kindness of everyone in the office. After a quick examination to confirm that it would be safe for me to receive treatment, I received a gentle adjustment that gave immediate relief... my pain level dropped from 11 to 7, after icinh at home and another adjustment that afternoon my pain dropped to 4, and then a third adjustment the next morning I was back to 100%. Hecker puts his patients first and very good at explaining how everything works and Michelle as also always busy smiling and very cheerful which makes the place more comfortable to be at I also met a lot a great people since I have been gone there everyone that goes there seems to be very happy and pleased that I'm seeing I never hear anyone complaining

Fantastic experience: I felt so welcome upon my first visit. The staff, especially Michelle, is so accomodating. When I finally met Dr. Hecker, and he evaluated me, I know from that time that I will feel better because he explained in details how he will do the treatment. Now, I haven't had any migraine attack for months, and I feel so relieved. I'm still visiting their office, to maintain the alignment of my back, (which is another problem of mine) and so far, I feel much better...able to stand longer without much pain. Thank you Dr. Hecker, a miracle worker, and to all the staff of Gentle Pain Care Center. Kudos to all of you.

Fantastic experience: Great place to get adjusted, staff is very friendly, Helpful and informative, treat everyone like family. Love the staff. I've been coming here for a year and my back has never felt better and healthy . The adjustments have also helped with other issues such as old knee injuries and wrist injuries. They work with different methods of payment and health insurance. Love those guys. :-D

Fantastic experience: Dr Hecker is amazing and the method he does doesn’t include crazy cracking!!! He is helping my Dowager Hump on my neck and my neck pain is almost totally gone! The girls in the office are the sweetest and the most accommodating with appointments. I have only been coming her for a couple months and i feel like i have known them forever!

The staff is very accommodating and kind, from Michelle at the front desk to Dr. Hecker, who answers all your questions and takes his time with each patient. Fantastic experience: For the longest time I had not been able to bend over and tie my shoes and after 3 visits with Dr Hecker I can now do so along with walking 5 to 10 minutes without pain. Way to go Doc. When you visit the office make sure u have the cookies. They are the bomb thanks to Michelle.

Fantastic experience: I walked into Dr. Hecker in a lot of pain, barely able to walk due to a back injury. I am half way though my treatment and I am able to touch my toes again and move with a minimum amount of pain. Thank you Dr. Hecker for everything you've done to help me. P.S. Fantastic experience: My dad and I started going to the gentle pain care centers together. My dad is 86 and is getting great results. I am feeling much better as a result of the treatments I am receiving . The office staff and dr are wonderful. Feeling good is the goal and we are seeing positive results. I highly recommend ditching drugs for this alternative choice to feel better and maintain a healthy spine.
