Everyone in the office is so kind and attentive, and know my name and meet me with a smile each time i walk in- offering coffee, water, or a kind ear. I find that I get information for whole body health that helps me to make the best decisions for my day to day/lifestyle. The cranial adjustments have been a game changer for me, more than I would have ever thought possible. I didn't realize how much of my day to day headaches were due to needing an adjustment that was a very easy process to go through. With two doctors at this location, I feel at ease knowing I can be taken care of no matter if one or the other is out. I also love the hours- open until 6 and on Saturdays too- this really helps for a teacher like me who can't just leave during the day for appointments easily. Thank you to both Dr.Cook and Dr.Ray for the care I've received, and for being so kind. I would recommend their skilled hands/techniques to anyone who is looking for a better quality life and who genuinely like doing business with good people who have a heart for their patients and craft.

I started seeing Dr. Cook back in 2019 while I was in college due to jaw and lower back pain. Dr. Cook has helped me manage different sources of pain throughout the years. I love how welcoming they are and how they often suggest life changes to ensure the treatment is working. I am now pregnant and seeing Dr. Cook regularly has helped a ton in managing my symptoms. Fantastic experience: Dr. Cook, his new colleague, and all the office personnel are just the most awesome people you can find! Dr. Cook’s expertise in cranial care has helped my husband to avoid migraine headaches! The treatment is amazing and it works!! Darwin was having severe migraines often which would cause him to have to go to bed, have an upset stomach, and not be able to do much. Since starting the treatments, the migraines are few and far between and if he has one it is not near as bad. Dr. Ray helps me with my neck, back, and knee issues. He has been the only chiropractor I’ve allowed to manipulate my neck and other areas manually! He is careful not to cause pain which I greatly appreciate. Dr. Cook and Dr. Ray are very caring, consider the patient’s preferences, concerns, and try to give the best help to improve the issues. The office staff is friendly, considerate, and caring also. They include other areas such as nutrition, foot care help, neurological care, and training sessions on various topics. I’m so glad our original chiropractor recommended Dr. Cook for us to switch to when she retired and moved to Colorado! Cook Chiropractic Center was the right choice for us and maybe it will be the right choice for you too!!

I am extremely pleased with him and the service I get. I get the laser treatment, decompressions and adjustments and it's like night and day since I started treatment. He does cranial adjustments that helps me with sinus, dizziness and tinnitus that I did not even know was an option. They are all so kind, gentle and very caring. Fantastic experience: Edited - There were particular circumstances at the time and I feel with that in mind, I have to adjust my rating accordingly. As I said before, the service here is absolutely top notch. With the delays resolved, I can safely say this is my new favorite place to go for all chiropractic service by and far. While I can't speak to Dr. Cook too much, Dr. Ray has been beyond amaIng. ----- The work they do here is fantastic. Dr. Ray has been amazing. But...that is also the problem. You'll be waiting forever to be seen on most of your visits. I'll have an appointment at 5, get there 20 to 30 minutes early and I won't get seen until after 6. It's absurd. Their scheduling is awful. Realistically, they need to assign bigger blocks for scheduling and stop overlooking if they need to take so long with each patient.

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Philip and Regina Cook. I have been coming to Dr. Cook for several years now and highly recommended his services. I originally came for hip pain specifically sciatic pain, which has resolved itself through treatment. I continue maintenance treatment, 1-2 times a month, which keeps my body functioning well and feeling good. I just recently tweaked my back picking up something heavy, and I called the office and they got me in within 1.5 hours. They even treated my shingles with laser therapy. I have recommended Dr. Cook to several of my family and friends. The office team is extremely warm and welcoming, and Regina Cook is so knowledgeable about alternative methods of treating and healing the body. They are great practitioners and more importantly amazing people!

Fantastic experience: I was experiencing what I thought was an ear infection. I went to the ENT who said that I had TMJ. He told me to get a mouth guard and take some Advil. My PCP suggested Dr. Cook who is a specialist in this area. After the third adjustment, my ear pain was gone! My ear was opened and I could hear properly.

Negative experience: Appointment was rushed cos doctor had to go out of town. Disconnect between doctor and reception staff. I attended the neuropathy seminar on 3/12/24 where we were encouraged to go to the doctor's office for neuropathy exam including xray for only $49. I set appointment up that same day and went in on 3/13/24. After doctor listened to my symptoms, he decided there was no need for neuropathy exam, but stated that he can help with my symptoms. He said the visit of that day would cost me nothing but that I would need to schedule to come see him the following week to review the x-ray that he took and that he could check for neuropathy in my next visit. I went to the front to check out and schedule and the lady at the front told me my bill was $150, says the doctor did not tell her its free and she knew nothing about $49 for neuropathy exam either. (Mind you, I filled out several paperwork at the seminar plus got scheduled). In the course of our argument, the nurse came and still knew nothing about the free visit but told me to go ahead and pay $49. I paid, scheduled follow up and left. I later received a call apologizing for the confusion staring that the feon lady was in training. I still want to know why was I charged $49 when doctor said visit would cost me nothing, since I did not have the neuropathy exam done. I am still trying to decide if I will actually go back. Not a good first time experience.

Fantastic experience: My husband and i were patients of Dr Ray’s in Rockwall. We were disappointed when he moved his practice to join Dr Cook. But my husband decided to “drive across the bridge” to visit Dr Ray in Garland. There he saw a flier about Dr Cook’s neuropathy seminar with (free lunch!). We attended Dr Cook’s excellent presentation and we’re so very glad we did. I’m now Dr Cook’s patient and I can still see Dr Ray too! They work hard to actually HELP me get better not just write a script to mask my symptoms. Both doctors Cook and Ray are wonderful. They’re great chiropractors but they’re also fabulous individuals who are fun to know. I can’t say enough about their staff and the office environment. Everyone is so friendly, caring and professional. I believe their practice is growing by leaps and bounds so they’re very busy and sometimes a little over booked. But the patients don’t seem to mind because it’s so worth it to be there! It’s like a happy family atmosphere of care and support. If you want and need real help, I highly recommend you book an appointment with Dr Cook or Dr Ray. You’ll be glad you did!

Based on a referral, my husband and I tried Cook Chiropractic and have continued going as needed for almost a year now, and are grateful for the care we have received. Dr. Cook and his staff are one of those rare gems. We have noticed several things in our time there so far: - He not only practices a wide range of treatments but also uses them himself and teaches others. Dr Cook considers the whole context of our health and not just an issue in isolation. - He educates his patients on ways to help themselves at home between visits in order to manage pain and encourage healing and strengthening. - He seeks out continuing education on new techniques and technologies that might be helpful and useful in his practice. - He has a great support system with his wife and staff. If more healthcare professionals were able to run their practice in this way, healthcare would look a whole lot different.

Fantastic experience: My name is David R. I have had problems with my Sicatica nerve where I was in so much pain I couldn't even walk. I had to be carried into the office. The staff in the front were very nice and made sure I was ok and was helpful along the whole way. They did a excellent job. Dr. Cook got me in fast and worked on me and the next day I was better. Still a little pain but it takes going a few times to get you right. I trust and respect Dr. Cook and Dr. Ray both are very good and they care about you they don't just get you in and kick you out they are friendly and knowledgeable on what they do. Fantastic experience: I had the unfortunate luck of being t-boned by a distracted driver and this turned into the good fortune of finding Cook Chiropractic Center. Dr. Cook was quick to notice some misaligned areas in my body due to the accident and we are working to improve the affected areas. On top of that was a cranial adjustment (see what I did there?) that worked wonders on my headaches and the foggy head associated with the accident. The office staff are all incredible and always have a great attitude. Highly recommended!

Negative experience: Dr. Cook is great; however, the added addition of his wife to the staff is a drawback during the age of COVID-19. Masks - it seems - are for everyone but her. I told her if everyone is expected to wear a mask that includes her. She rudely dismissed me.

Fantastic experience: The staff is very friendly. Dr. Cook is an excellent clinician with a warm bedside manner. He is a skilled adjuster who is able to adjust joints on me that no-one else is able to. His practice has an x-ray on site as well as passive care for pain if necessary. Dr. Cook is also one of the only Chiropractors in the metroplex who is trained in adjusting the cranial bones, a technique which helped me a great deal after my concussion to re-level my eyes.
