Positive experience: The DEXA and RMR tests were worthwhile and informative. The VO2 Max test was poorly administered and a waste of time and money. I said that my max heart rate was about 170 and wanted to reach it. After 10 minutes on the treadmill the test was stopped with my heart rate of 155. I hadn't even broken a sweat. When I asked why it was stopped, the administrator said that she was just following the guidelines.

Fantastic experience: If you need to get your Dexa scan done... this is a great place to do it. Alex was great and very personable. Your results are provided immediately and reviewed together so you know what you're looking at. Will be coming back in a few months to do a compare of my baseline....

Negative experience: Was very disappointed with the service here. My wife and I got VO2 tests. The technician had to restart my wife's test halfway through due to an equipment issue. After my test, the technician told me that my results were incomplete and I would have to come back to re-test in 3 weeks. She stated the equipment had issues, but hopefully by the time I came back, they would have new equipment.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had several Dexa Scans and VO2 Max and RMR testing as part of my fitness strategy as I age! I did some research on Live Lean and decided to give it a shot. It felt like I was working with an advanced personal trainer that could provide the data through science based testing to help me measure the quality of my nutrition and exercise strategy and execution. Josh was great to work with my plan is to incorporate these test a few times a year to keep track of my progress and make adjustments as I go! I am a garmin Fénix 7 wearer and I wanted to also be able to compare my measurements with Live Lean. One of the big factors for me is the age of the equipment and quality and frequency of calibration to ensure consistency in the measurement and accuracy. But I am still researching to ensure the value and accuracy of the equipment but I had a great experience I liked the access to data via apps and the ability to do some analysis with it via the apps… but now I’m gonna ride with Live Lean

Allow extra time as office is a little hard to find (no obvious signage at exterior and once you enter bldg, it’s up some stairs and through a hallway with numbering that seemed confusing), but plenty of parking. There is no sales pressure, data is well explained and process was smooth. Jessica is lovely and encouraging! You will work up a bit of a sweat for the VO2 test (treadmill), so wear comfortable clothing, running shoes and consider bringing a change of clothes. I didn’t plan well and had to go straight to work. I will definitely return for follow up testing to compare my progress.

Fantastic experience: An absolute-must for any athlete/person who wants to eliminate the guess-work out of your routines (in exercise + diet) I didn't realize how comprehensive the testing would be (took 30 mins tops to do RMR + DXA) but the information I learned blew my mind. Positive experience: So, I love this place, Jessica is AMAZING and incredibly knowledgeable. I have ZERO complaints about the service. She seems to be fairly new to running this place, but she seems like a really quick learner and she’s really making the effort to make this place even more amazing. My biggest complaint is the driveway/parking lot. I have really bad knees so the parking lot’s incline is incredibly painful (I know I should just go through the process and get the handicap plates (yeah, my knees are THAT bad), but I’m stubborn). More so than the incline is the fact that it is nearly impossible to see when you’re approaching and the address listed on the website does not match the GPS, so we were unsure and basically turned into a random driveway and hoped for the best the first time. No biggie though. We made it in and met a wonderful young woman doing a great job.

I initially went in to get a DEXA scan in November just to track results as I’m losing weight but she has truly gone above and beyond to help me and be part of my weight loss journey. She’s one of the most informed professionals regarding fitness/health I’ve ever met and I feel confident that I can reach my goals and will have the knowledge to do so with her helping me. As someone that has struggled with obesity her whole life, this is a huge deal for me. Well worth the money for whatever service you’re getting!

Jessica gave a great explanation of each of the test results, their meaning, and how to target areas of improvement. I was left with no questions and she gave me way more info than I thought the scan would provide.
