Fantastic experience: Everything about this place is amazing, from the chiropractic care to the massage techniques by their experts. On more than one occasion I have felt like they made miracles happen with my body. My hips and collarbone were misaligned and now they are not and feel amazing! I originally came because of a shoulder issue from lifting weights improperly. I could barely move my shoulder. Within 3 weeks it was as if it never happened. Every time I leave after a massage - I feel like a brand new person. Can’t recommend them enough!!

Lynn the massage therapist is also very knowledgeable and great at educating you on whats going on With your muscles. They even have monthly wellness plans that make getting the care you need super affordable.

I’ve tried chiropractors in Asia, Europe, and throughout the United States from coast to coast due to injuries on active duty. Believe me you won’t find a better Chiropractic Doctor anywhere. I have referred friends and family to Dr Roberts for over 11 years. The Staff at Back to Balance on 5600 West in West Valley City is also extraordinary. Thank you for all you do to help people!

Negative experience: I use to love coming here but my last visit I went in for having some hip and neck pain. I went back and got my adjustments and then came out to find out that my insurance doesn’t cover chiropractic visits so I ended up paying $80. I should have been told before my appointment started that my insurance doesn’t cover the visit. I’m not a rich man and paying that much money for a visit isn’t feasible and I will no longer go here.

Negative experience: I used to go here all the time (not giving out my name as I like the anonymity) and it was nice, I always walked out of there with no back issues, but when through the pandemic the receptionist just stopped wearing a mask and was telling customers that it’s fine to not wear one as well as that’s what she claims around town when I ran into her. You’re part of the medical field! How could you not enforce the mask rule?! I get that the mandate is being dropped on the 10th of April, but not enforcing the mandated mask rule because your in the medical field is dangerous! Who knows for many outbreaks you’ve had come from that office! Unless someone does some investigating into it there’s no way I’ll be returning!

Fantastic experience: 8 years ago orthodontist pulled my jaw out of place. 7 specialist later we discovered my jaw was pulled off the TMJ. I was told it could never be fixed. Well today back to balance has started to fix my jaw and the pain with it. They were super friendly and understanding. Realigned my back, hips, and jaw. Also did my husand as well. Highly recommend these guys know what they are doing and can help you.

Fantastic experience: I've had hip and upper thigh pain since giving birth to my nearly 8 year old child. I also love to run. I've been running through the pain. Finally I decided to try a chiropractor, and went to Back To Balance. Took the doctor 15 minutes to relieve 8 years of pain! My next run after this first session was awesome! Still soreness, but the horrible pain was gone. My husband was skeptical about a chiropractor doing much of anything to relieve pain. Whether he believes or not, I don't care. After one session, I've felt a huge difference!

Negative experience: At first I loved going here. He helped a lot when I was pregnant. After I had my baby I went back to him and he was in what seemed to be a pretty bad mood. Anyways he pushed on my back when I was on my side rather hard. It was painful and I heard a pop. I have not stopped having pain since. I will never go back to him. Nor would I recommend him to anyone else.

Nate made me feel like he really cared and answered all of my questions. He got me feeling better and also taught me a few preventive exercises/stretches. Fantastic experience: Never thought a chiropractor could help with my scoliosis after surgery, until I started visiting Nate Roberts. My back/neck hasn't felt this great in years. Clean facility, good equipment, the massage therapists are excellent and the beloved receptionist helps and is super friendly. They really treat you like family here.

I signed up for the monthly plan which allows me to stay proactive in my long-term pain management and also gives ample opportunity to check in with Tamara and Dr. Roberts who definitely add to the Family atmosphere prevalent at this location.

Fantastic experience: I went in for knee pain associated with a running injury. This was my third attempt to get treatment for it, but first time at this office. Front desk staff were friendly, competent, and professional. Dr. Roberts is that rarest of creatures: a Doctor who actually listens (gasp!), takes you seriously, and answers questions (gasp, again!) instead of running rough-shod over you and prescribing some pill or other. Overall, a pleasant experience. Vastly preferable to basically every other medical facility I've been to.

Fantastic experience: As an "unbeliever" in chiropractic work, I finally gave in to my sister and made an appointment. I have severe back pain, leg pain, etc. I was very skeptical, but she insisted it would help. I am pleased and really happy to say, it did work! I haven't been pain-free in many, many years (even after several months of physical therapy) and to walk out of this office and not limp, not be in pain is a miracle. Please, if you have the need to seek a chiropractic service, I highly recommend Back to Balance and Nate Roberts. His office is clean, friendly and always welcoming.

Fantastic experience: Back to Balance is Chiropractic and Wellness is the best! I have fibro-myalgia and I go in for a massage every week. Leslie is an amazing massage therapist! She's very intuitive on what my muscles need to help me feel well. Her weekly massages have helped significantly with my ability maintain being nearly pain free. When I go out of town and miss a week I can completely feel the need to get back in for a massage to help me feel better. Nate is an excellent chiropractor. He's been able to help me with my neck muscles and alignment in ways no other chiropractor has done in the past. He's very gentle and aware of my adjustment needs. Because of the fibro-myalgia I've had other chiropractors who've adjusted me too hard and I've hurt for a month after. That has never happened with Nate. He can tell just how much pressure I need to be adjusted to feel well.

Fantastic experience: Back to Balanced saved me. I had a very serious injury that possibly needed surgery. Dr. Roberts was upfront with me on my first visit and said that he wasn't sure if he could heal me all the way but he would give it his best and if I wasn't feeling better within 6 visits he would recommend I stop and have surgery. Between him and Leslie (masseuse) I avoided having surgery and my shoulder and back are almost back to normal. I've been to many other Chiro's and this was by far my best experience. Always willing to adjust the schedule to accommodate me and get me in when I hurt. Anytime I hear someone say they need a Chiro I tell them to visit Dr. Roberts. He is also a big Ute fan so that is a plus also. Go Utes!

Fantastic experience: LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Back to Balance! I have been to many chiropractors and this is by far the best care I have received. I started coming here when I was pregnant with my son. I had a natural labor with my daughter and did not have a great experience. I heard about Dr. Roberts prenatal program and wanted to try it to see if it would help my labor with my second baby. Their office is so nice and the staff is very professional, yet still kind and welcoming. You do not feel awkward or uncomfortable at all. I received weekly massages and adjustments and I cannot tell you the difference that it made in my pregnancy and labor. My pregnancy was a lot less stressful and my back pain was so much better. My labor was incredible because my hips and everything were in their perfect position to give birth. I love that Dr. Roberts explains in detail what is going on with your body and what he is doing so that you are aware and know what is going on. He makes you feel more educated and understand the process. Leslie is absolutely amazing! Hands down the best massage therapist and chiropractor! If you haven't seen them yet, you should go, you wont regret it!

Fantastic experience: After visiting several chiropractors over the last 6 years this one has helped me a lot!!! I have a bulging disk that has caused me lots of pain, my surgeon said I was to young for surgery so I needed to do pain management. I've been seeing a pain specialist for 3 years and have had injections and been on pain meds. Since coming to Back to Balance I haven't got an injection and I've been able to cut way back on my pain meds!!!! I feel like I can do more of what I used to be able to without pain!

Fantastic experience: This is my first experience with professional chiropractic care. I chose him because one of his specialties is prenatal care and I knew that some of my problems came from issues during my last pregnancy. I have to say that Dr. Roberts and his staff are great! They answered all my questions, addressed the problem and discussed a sensible treatment plan. I've heard about chiropractors just wanting to keep things status quo so that they're always making money off of you... like some psychologists who never want you to "get better". Dr. Roberts doesn't just want perpetual clients, he actually wants you to get better so you can stop seeing him all the time. I really appreciate that he cares about helping sick people get well!
