Fantastic experience: I have been going to Maxwell for about 3 months now and it is always a great experience. They are punctual, friendly and I never feel rushed. Traditional medicine, in my personal experience with several different doctors, just prescribe medication for the symptoms and then send a bill - especially as I got older. It seems they attributed everything to aging which is so not true! I am so done with that. I'm glad I found Maxwell!

Negative experience: They use to offer a nice service, but this place is only for the rich. You pay 4000 for 3 months, and that does not include testing - labs etc nor any of the services or supplements required to get you back to health... if it even works for you. If you want Maxwell, it is $100,000 to start. This is not a typo. It may even be more now. It's been years since I've asked. The world is going to better medicine, but there will always be those who are in medicine for themselves and not people. This place is disappointing. The fee may be a great placebo to make you think you're getting greater things.? As this medicine and knowledge becomes more welcome and well known, hopefully this help will be available to more than the elite.

Fantastic experience: After a year of pain in my forearm from a sports injury, Dr. Scott was able to fix it with one PRP injection! He also helped me with some bulging discs from a spine injury. His goal was to help me get well and not keep me coming through the doors for unnecessary treatments. He really cares about his patience and can be trusted.

Positive experience: I sought Maxwell Clinic out after extensive research on neuro feedback therapy as a possible solution for my dystonia. I love the mindset to cure conditions instead of treating.. They were very transparent and had never heard of my condition, though, felt the rationale was solid when the initial QEEG revealed, I would be a good candidate for Neuro feedback. I was impressed with the thoroughness of the on boarding process. Everyone I encountered and worked with was very friendly!.I was disappointed, when in a vulnerable position , My practitioner didn’t seem to have the Awareness , professionalism and respect to keep the sessions private and another patient and practitioner entered the room and shared space during my session . I was very vocal at the completion of the session and made sure all future sessions would be private. I was appalled the following week when I was again joined, In the middle of a session, this time by the practitioner only, as a place to prepare for the following session. They were using the space a bit like a teacher’s lounge. I got the distinct impression that the practitioners didn’t have the wisdom/maturity and aren’t respectful of the magnitude of the conditions they are treating. The subsequent QEEG showed, dramatic improvements; however, ultimately there was no forward progress in the areas believed to cause the condition.. I am still hopeful for a solution to this debilitating londition. Maxwell Clinic has a great team with a lot of offerings. I was hopeful that the medical doctors would take a special interest in my case It takes away a person‘s quality of life. As one would expect in healthcare, Maxwell Clinic Didn’t stand out as exceptional as they are not as concerned with the outcome As I had hoped.

Negative experience: Beware of this clinic. My experience was as follows: Response to your response: It is curious how the demeanor and quickness of your communication is completely different on this public platform compared to our private communications. Your rhetoric and standardized response here does not match the clinic's actions or actual habits. There is a very rapid response here, in public, as opposed to my experience as a client. An executive director in an administrative position has no right to review my medical records, as what happened at Maxwell Clinic. For me, this shows you are more concerned with this google review than "patient care, trust, and open communication." I paid around $430 a month only to receive poor communications and dismissive behaviors of my health concerns. On the contrary, waiting for test results and reports is not stressful for me. What is concerning is insisting your office policy trumps state regulation. Ignoring state regulation is a violation and is unethical. All of this does not promote an environment of "patient care, trust and open communication." I hope you do take action to "re-examine this policy and improve our processes and communication," but I feel this is just more rhetoric for this public platform. Original post of my experience with Maxwell Clinic: *Refusal to put my test results/reports on their portal (giving me access) until it was convenient for them to do so, (waiting time more than 10 days after results were given to them). When I insisted I wanted my results, it escalated to the 2nd in command, Mr. Queen. In the mean time, I was able to access my reports directly from the lab/agency they sent me to for testing, bypassing the Maxwell Clinic. When I called and spoke to Mr. Queen, I stated they do not have the right to hold my medical reports or records from me for more than 10 days according to Tennessee law. He ignored my requests and kept parroting their office policy back to me instead of answering my questions and granting me access to my reports. He then yelled at me "You aren't hearing me!" and kept repeating their office policy, implying that they do have the right to do that. I let him know that withholding my medical information, or even suggesting he would withhold it from me in the name of office policy is disturbing, and horrible best practice. I let Mr. Queen know that their office policy does not supersede Tennessee law and seems antiquated. I let him know that it would be great to receive my reports in a timely manner in line with their perception to provide stellar client service. I first communicated with Caroline, and she told me that to prevent "undue stress or panic" they would be withholding all of my test results from me until they basically got around to accessing and looking at the results first. 08/12/24, 5:58 pm Caroline stated "The clinician needs to give permission to show results prior to appointments." Then refused to give me access to my test results. 08/13/24, 8:52 am Caroline stated, "It is standard procedure to hold results... As I said yesterday, I sent the message along to Dr. Lickey who would need to give that permission to post prior to your appointment." My appointment was scheduled 2 months away. I needed the records for an upcoming appointment (in a week) with another specialist. They did not care. Further, Mr. Queen, as executive director, told me he accessed and reviewed my medical records. I told him I did not give him consent to look at my medical records as he is in an administrative role and not part of the medical team, he had no reason to view it. He insisted that it was necessary that he review it and that was part of office policy, too. My experience with Maxwell Clinic was horrible. I tell everyone to avoid this clinic. It seems to me, in my experience, that they operate with the main goal of getting as much money out of me as possible, and also ran what seemed to be unnecessary extensive testing at my cost. In my experience, their customer service is terrible and they operate in a passive aggressive manner.

Fantastic experience: I visited Dr. Stoll to see if prolotherapy could be an alternative to surgery. I was impressed with his knowledge, thoroughness and helpfulness. Thankfully, I am improving and I am so thankful to have avoided surgery!

Fantastic experience: They helped bring me back from SIBO and pan disaccharides deficiency a few years ago. Now they’re helping me with vertigo and vestibular neuritis recovery. I love their staff, their care and concern while I’m on my mission to become healthy again! If you’re looking for a functional doctor, I highly recommend them!

It was a massive CYA effort which they needed given the procedure that we started nearly punctured my eardrums. I would not trust these people the last of Boyle.

Fantastic experience: I have been a client of MaxWell Clinic for 10 months, and I'm a RAVING fan. I went with MaxWell (and Dr. Haase) for longevity reasons, but, my higher priority was the health and hormonal changes I'm facing in my late 40's. After completing the questionnaire, I was partnered with Dr. Woods, and she has been amazing! I love this clinic!! I feel heard, important, like my health matters, and that they're advocating for my best interest. It's been an amazing experience. I'm sleeping better, my gut health has improved, my bloodwork has improved, I'm eating foods that improve my health, and my hormones are in balance. 10 of out 10 experience!!!

Positive experience: Ketamine research shows it’s beneficial for so many people. I wasn’t one of them. It caused me intense distress that lead to a migraine. It was a very bad experience for me but I don’t think it’s typical. Great people and physicians at the clinic.

Fantastic experience: As a survivor of a brain injury (TBI), I signed up for 10 HBOT sessions. One down and nine to go. I hope to see benefits in releasing and not continuing body twitches/tics. As well as, control of my voice (no stuttering and less problems with words retrieval) and control of how I express myself verbally. If apparent after 10 sessions and I see a difference, I will continue HBOT sessions at MaxWell Clinic in Brentwood, TN.

Positive experience: It was only my very first time meeting with Dr. Paluch so I really can't give it any higher until throughout my visits.

Negative experience: I’m looking back at my records from 2017 when I went to this practice and the testing did and the supplements they put me on are laughable at addressing the root cause of health conditions. I can say that now years later as I have become a professional looking at labs and working with people who have similar symptoms that did. If they are still doing that body composition scan thing, it’s a waste of time. I didn’t get it then, and years later I’m looking at the graphs and charts and kicking myself that I spent money on this. The supplements I was put on were so I complete. The advice to eliminate a huge list of key foods based on IgG testing alone for someone who already came into the office super depleted was bad practice. I’m appalled. I spent so much money on months of supplements without really seeing any changes. AND I SENT MY HUSBAND TOO! *face palm*

Positive experience: The doctors at Maxwell Clinic are great. However, the concierge plan puts good healthcare out of reach for a lot of us. Riverside Village Clinic in East Nashville has a similar blend of functional and Western medicine for an affordable price. And they take insurance. So if can't go here anymore due to the cost, try Riverside. Anna Guessetto there is wonderful. She is very knowledgeable on thyroid and on hormones. Athena Reese is also super helpful and knowledgeable for general practicioner type things. I hope this is helpful! It is so tough to feel bad and to need quality care and not be able to afford it.

Negative experience: When I asked deeper questions about various tests that I paid hundreds (ultimately thousands) of dollars for to better understand my health, I was met with the following response from the Nurse Practitioner/clinician who was assigned and trusted to help me: "I don't have time to give you a medical degree." This same practitioner also labeled me as impulsive when I asked questions during our in-person visits (I'm the highest degree of an over-thinker and make decisions only after a painstaking amount of research). And the one and only time I asked a question in the portal designed to contact your health advocate and doctor, she shamed me for reaching out over something that was unclear in the wellness plan she created. I urge you not to waste your time and money on this clinic if you want to be treated with compassion. Or maybe push your luck, but beg them not to be paired with Luann Lavin. I have respect for Alisson Kothera, the nutritionist who spoke with intelligence and a deep understanding of people and food, and for Dr. Haase, who sat with me for 40 minutes to explain what Luann could not in three visits due to either indifference or incompetence.

I have never been to such a professional, welcoming, efficiently run medical office where every person I came in contact with on every occasion was kind and attentive. Dr. Ferriss and Dr. Haase are extremely thorough and knowledgeable about their fields. The office staff and nurses are phenomenal. We visited on average 2-3 times a week for Neurofeedback Therapy with our nine year old daughter. Everyone made her feel so comfortable and calm.

Fantastic experience: MaxWell Clinic and Dr. Woods are doing medicine like it should be done by working root causes and effective monitoring to get early warning when things are starting get out of whack. They are focused on working with me to maximize my wellness and eliminate those things that are dragging me down. Fantastic experience: great deep dive!

Negative experience: BEWARE!! this place was dangerous for me. They misdiagnosed me and then when I tried to question the diagnosis dropped me as a patient. I checked with Vanderbilt infectious disease who agreed I did not have Rocky Mountain spotted fever. The drs are incompetent. They also tried to say I had yeast overgrowth which is very hard to grow in the small intestine per my GI. They were very rude to me once they decided they were going to drop me and they had already decided to drop me but not notify me until a month later so they could try to get the monthly fee. I refused. Also the response from the owner: I tried reaching out to Cale and had to call for over two weeks to get a response. He was always too busy to speak with me due to interviews. So the compassionate caring care is not true Edit to add: a ct scan revealed I had a tumor on my liver when I saw dr woods. soo the dr here sent me for an MRI In which they said they didn’t see anything. She didn’t question it. I questioned her. Turns out I do have a tumor on my liver and the maxwell clinic dr not following up telling me it was likely just shadows . Beware of this place. They will try to sell you on supplements, unreliable tests, and sub Par care

Fantastic experience: Our sessions with Dr. Woods are always awesome. It never ceases to amaze us what can be learned about what is going on in our bodies through blood work .

Negative experience: I went in for blood work. Technician did not know how to do it. She used a needle that was 4 inches long, big around as a pencil lead, and missed the vein. I stopped the process there. Now you have no bloodwork for my next appointment. She was polite enough, and pleasant, but not capable on that day.

Positive experience: To be honest, I'm not very happy. I was hoping to get to the bottom of some health issues I've been having for a while (or even to just get something like an answer), but we haven't really uncovered anything useful or helpful in the three months I've been here. I just wanted to figure out what my health problems are without necessarily doing a bunch of unnecessary stuff, but we've done a lot of testing here (and been given a lot of supplements) without a whole lot of particular care given to whatever the cause of my problem might be. I wanted to do mostly diagnostic work, but I keep getting encouraged to spend more money on treatments that are just shots in the dark. To be fair, I'm a bit of a difficult (maybe even hopeless) case, but I really would have liked if the primary focus of my treatment here was on uncovering the cause of my illness and not on me just spending lots of money on treatments that don't seem to do much for me. I've been encouraged to try treatments again that I've already tried in the past that I know have not worked for me, and in that sense it feels frustrating to not be listened to. I might just be a difficult customer, so take this all with a grain of salt. This place might be good for you if you can afford it (I can't anymore), but it hasn't been very helpful for me.
