Fantastic experience: I was welcomed as I came in by the young woman in the back and by Jaden as well. Jaden was very knowledgeable of the menu and was able to tell me about a drink. I love coming here! The drinks are soooo good, and the folks are kind!

Positive experience: Stopped in for something refreshing for the 4th of July. I order an açaí bowl and as mentioned from other reviews, you do have to build your own. (which could be a plus or minus depending on who you ask) Overall, my bowl was good. The açaí was a bit bland but the fruit was flavorful and the topping fresh! The girls working there are very sweet. Check it out for yourself, plus they offer other items aside from açaí bowls!

Negative experience: A cup of apple juice from a bottle costs $9?? When asked for apple juice I thought she would make a fresh one!! I can buy 2 bottles of apple juice for that price!

Positive experience: First time trying this place and I got the build your own smoothie bowl. It’s a lot bigger than the bowl I get another establishment. It was good and all the fruit tasted fresh. I wish they would have added more honey on top of mine but next time I can ask for more honey. Will try a cold pressed juice next time as well.

Negative experience: After today I will find a new place to purchase my açaí cups, preferably to a company who train their workers correctly and the same. Luis and Hannah made my açaí cups completely wrong even with instructions given. I literally had to throw $25 bucks in the trash because neither one wanted to remake it correctly but just told me that it’s correct. Literally the worst cups ever gotten from here. And only reason I gave 1 star.

Fantastic experience: 2022 Update: Still love this place!! If they could improve anywhere, it’d be more staffing so that it doesn’t take 20+ minutes for a bowl. Thanks Sustain! Great place for smoothies, juices, and bowls. I love that you can watch your creation being made in front of you. Only downside here is once you go often, you notice how extremely expensive it is.

Negative experience: I went to the Greenway location yesterday and had a Cougar smoothie. Enjoyed it and was excited to see the Bellaire location. Unfortunately the same drink today has given me stomach pain/nausea. Management - check the sanitation practices of your crew and/or your ingredients. This is horrible!

Fantastic experience: Love this place, they have an excellent juicer and they strain the juice after it’s been juiced to make sure there is no fiber or pulp. I get the cucumber, celery, and lemon juice in a 16oz glass, absolutely refreshing, delicious and 100x better than just drinking water. If you’re in the sun all day this place works wonders for hydration.

Negative experience: The lady who attends is very rude and bitter. Your product is very good but it is damaged by this bad service.

Negative experience: Had the opportunity to get 5 stars but owner was extremely rude. I almost turned around and walked right back out. I just started working in this area and wanted a daily local juice place that I could support but I guess I have to stick with Pressed Juice in Rice Village. Ppl need to understand that customer service matters no matter how great the product is or can be. Won’t recommend or be going back.

Positive experience: Edit: I've been coming here for years. Previously worked close by and that's how I discovered it. Delicious and natural juices & smoothies. Great health snacks & the best acai bowls in town (IMO). BUT, I went in a few weeks ago and had an unclean experience. I won't be back anytime soon and that's a real bummer for me. I watched a few employees come in for their shift and I walked in behind them. One washed their hands and one did not. The one that didn't proceeded to take my order and I hoped they (not identifying purposely) would wash their hands afterward (they didn't). Furthermore, their shirt was COVERED in cat hair. My gawd. And when I casually said, "hey, there's some hair on your shirt", they said "Oh, it's just my cat". That isn't normal in a business and especially not in one that serves food and drinks. I was grateful that someone else made my bowls and was turned off seeing that no one in charge noticed what I saw. Sad to have to find another spot for a while. I wish them well. Original: Great selection for wellness, using organics. I recommend Sustain for anyone and for those seeking healthier options in smoothie drinks.

Fantastic experience: Stumbled upon on a beautiful bike ride. The venue is very clean from what is served to the bathrooms. Friendly staff too! Great value. Would highly recommend.

Positive experience: I Ordered the Purple Rain (a smoothie with) Banana, strawberry, raspberry, blueberry, goji berries, maca, beet juice, orange juice. - maybe its the maca throwing me off but with all of the incredible ingredients in this smoothie ALL I taste is banana and MACA and it honestly taste like banana flavored dirt (but its tolerable the more you sip it) Almond Coconut Energy Bites - Dry with a weird grainy texture Get Up & Goji Energy Bites - Just absolutely AMAZING not too sweet or bitter just perfection I wish i had ordered MORE. (this is the reason for the 2nd and 3rd star)

Positive experience: I have wanted to try the juices from here, so I finally did. My favorite so far (of the three I have tried) is the Supreme Being with beet, grapefruit, pineapple, lime and habanero. Honestly, this taste like a craft cocktail without the alcohol. (I think it would make a great craft cocktail by adding some vodka or gin.) The first one I tried was the Classic Green with kale, spinach, apple, cucumbers, parsley, celery and mint. This one was interesting, albeit a bit on the medicinal side, but in a healthy, good sort of way. The second one I tried was the Volcano which has carrot, OJ, ginger and cayenne. This one was up there with the Supreme Being (no pun intended, but I do have to laugh). What I really like about the Volcano and the Supreme Being is the "kick" that the cayenne and the habanero, respectively, gives to the juice, making it unique from just ordinary juice. The cost is quite pricey, but I am sure that is due to the process to make the juices. Again, if I think of what it takes to make a craft cocktail, the price makes more sense, but if you want to drink these juices every day (whereas you don't drink cocktails every day), it can add up. The first jar I got was $10 even. Then, when I came to get the second jar, I returned the first jar (recycle) and got $1 off on my second juice, making it $9. Same for the third. They do need to update their website as the prices ranged from $7.50 to $8.50, not the $10 actual charge. And, yes, there must be a tie in ownership to JuiceWell as my bottles all had JuiceWell on them. The service was fine.

Positive experience: We love stopping by to get our favorite, the pita bowl, quick fix, green juice and my smoothie. The whole family loves coming here.

Fantastic experience: I come to a juicery for juice and that's what i get. JUICE. I always order the Supreme Being. It's spicy and sweet. I never have issues with waiting even though I come on my lunch break. According to my peers, $10 is expensive. It comes in a glass jar. Glass is not cheap like plastic cups. So i think the price difference from other places is justified. If you bring the jar back, they take $1 dollar off. It's not much, but it encourages recycling! They have other options like smoothies and bowls that look great also.

Fantastic experience: This is great. The food here is fresh and full of lots of options. I love this place because you can customize your own bowl. Add whatever you want and get is ordered to how you like it. The atmosphere is clean and welcoming. The staff here is really friendly and helpful throughout the whole processes. I will definitely return and let other know.

Fantastic experience: Trendy, popular spot for healthy and delicious smoothies, juices, acai bowls, and other things! Not really my thing, but they made something really delicious (and beautiful, these people are artists!) The employees are super friendly and helpful, not to mention knowledgeable about the ingredients that they offer. Seating is cozy, but limited. Would be great for small groups or hangouts. They also offer to go service, so that's a convenient option! 10/10 would try again!

Fantastic experience: This is my go to spot!! I’m new to the Houston area and this is already my favorite place to go, I come here at least once a week. The acai bowls are PERFECT! They’re always the perfect consistency, always presented well, the employees are friendly and hard working. I love how the bowls are a pretty generous serving size and it’s enough for my boyfriend and I to share one if we aren’t super hungry. I’m not usually a person to go to a place before closing but the times I do (I leave a generous tip for being an ass and walking in last minute) the employees are still friendly and don’t ever make me feel rushed, the bowl still comes out perfect which makes me really pleased. I also made a mistake I accidentally ordered two bowls when my boyfriend meant to share one with me and they were really helpful and told me that I couldn’t get a refund but the next time I come in the bowl would be paid for already. Sure enough the next time I came in they helped me and the bowl was free. I love everything about this place especially how nicely decorated it is inside very modern and cozy, they could do something about the floor it looks a little gunty but overall great place !!

Negative experience: Sadly removing my 5 STAR :( kept coming back until service started to change. Last time it took 35 minutes to prepare a smoothie, in an empty store at 2pm. It is a shame. But do not forget not to take good customers as granted.

Negative experience: Showed up before closing to purchase pre pressed juices, and it was clear we were bothering the staff by doing so. We were stared at while trying to make selections making it uncomfortable to decide and when I did the girl behind the counter said "we might be out of that... I'll have to check" and continued to stand there staring at me. So I took it upon myself to make a option B selection. $20 later on 2 juices and still no "thanks, have a great day!" from the girl behind the counter or any other pleasant exchange one gives a paying customer during operating hours.

Fantastic experience: Tried for the first time and ended up getting a smoothie and an acai bowl. Both were tasty but will definitely be going back for another bowl. Cornell was super friendly and knowledgeable on the menu.

Positive experience: Seems like a typical "juicery"... Kale in random things, relatively overpriced. The girl was really nice/patient with us, giving recommendations and stuff. I got a tasty acai bowl, with plenty of granola and fruit. My friend got a green juice that "tasted like it sounds." Note if you get the juice in a glass bottle, they charge you $1 for the bottle, which upon returning, will be credited to you in your account for next time... If we'd realized, I would've run out to my car to get my travel mug.

Fantastic experience: Was looking for a detox juice in Bellaire and decided to try Sustain Juicery. The staff was friendly and helpful plus the product was great. I had the Awaken with a shot of apple juice- which I highly recommend.

Positive experience: Ate here on Sunday for the first time. Had a great experience and the 'Refresh' and 'Acai' bowl were outstanding. Decided to come back Monday - Labor Day - as I pleasantly surprised to see them opened. Ordered the same Acai bowl and am very disappointed. Bowl was maybe 1/2 full & 1/2 the fruit of my bowl yesterday. Taste is great but very disappointed and over priced if I'm only going to get half a bowl

Positive experience: The acai bowl is worth the wait. Service is kind of slow since they are making everything using fresh ingredients but the taste and quality are topnotch.

Positive experience: I like the trend of making everything from scratch, but it's a hard concept to pull off. Sustain makes it look easy on most days, but every once in a while I find that their quality slips when crowds pick up.

Positive experience: Customer service needs a lot of work!! I called in an order, walked in to pick it up, and told sales girl I was there to pick it up, and she proceeded to check her phone after my smoothies was finished in blender, then took selfies of herself in front of my smoothie! A manager came by, noticed she hadn't done my smoothie correctly, and proceeded to train her from start to finish on sizes, proportions, measurements--while my smoothie sat on the counter! I finally spoke up and it was if I was interrupting them. People will not continue to pay $9 for a product they almost have to beg to get. Training is needed for these teenagers who do most of the work! Most don't know the first thing about how to act while working in a service oriented business. It's so annoying that we drove all the way to Beet Box on W. Grey instead. We'd like to support this local business, but want to be taken a bit more seriously as a customer. We will go a few more times and see how seriously the owners take this well intentioned feedback. (BTW one young man who works there there is phenomenal!).

Positive experience: Visit #1. This place deserves 0 stars on customer service. I walked in and the cashier was attending to a customer so she did not greet me. Which was fine considering she was awaiting another customer. As I stand in line waiting, approximately 6 teenage girls walk in. The cashier greeted these teens & proceeded to ask them what they wanted to order as if I wasn't standing there. I tried to over look that, but she began taking all 6 girls orders & payment as if I was not standing there in her face! Therefore I walked out! Horrible customer service! Visit #2. So with a little convincing from a friend, I decided to give this spot another chance. And I am glad I did. The experience was 100% different than the 1st. Very friendly & welcoming. All the employees this go around was very nice. And most of all, my pitaya bowl was really good! So overall, I give them 4 stars. If I had to rate them on my 2nd visit, it would be 5 stars.
