Fantastic experience: I've been seeing Dr. Renn for well over a decade. I initially sought his help for chronic lower back pain stemming from a herniated disc. While other doctors suggested surgery, Dr. Renn's treatments got me back on my feet without having to go under the knife. He's currently treating me for a rotator cuff tear, and I'm confident he'll help me avoid surgery again. Dr. Renn truly cares about his patients' health, not just his pocketbook. I've felt many other chiropractors push unneeded treatments, but Dr. Renn takes the time to explain the source of my pain and details the treatment process. He does a lot more than general chiropractic care; I've had good results with his laser and shockwave therapy. Plus, the front desk crew are awesome!

Fantastic experience: I've been meaning to write a review for a while - I used to go to Ravenswood Chiropractic and loved my experience! I came in thinking I just needed a good office where I could get my typical monthly adjustments - but when I told Dr. Renn about the pain I was experiencing, he assured me that there was more we could do to address the root causes. I really appreciated his care and concern! I had regular adjustments, physical therapy sessions, and massages at the office for a while, and felt a big improvement in my level of pain. The entire staff was so nice, so friendly, I loved seeing them and chatting whenever I came in. I ultimately ended up having to switch providers for insurance reasons, but was sad to leave Ravenswood Chiropractic, and think of the wonderful team there frequently. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Dropped in for chiro work and discovered all kinds of pain fighting procedures. Laser treatment to my sore feet stopped chronic pain in my arch the same day. A problem I had for over a year and many new shoes and inserts with no relief. Total fan of laser procedure!

Fantastic experience: I came in for a couple of frozen shoulders that were locked pretty tight. Among adjustments, TENS, massage therapy, and home exercises, I've made about 30% progress towards normal function in just a month, and now believe that there is a path towards regaining most, if not all, of my former functionality. Every single person working here has been pleasant to deal with and seem to genuinely care about recovery. Scheduling is easy and flexible. The facility is extremely clean. What's more is that every single time I've been here, I see employees willing to jump in and help where needed, and the doctors aren't elitist about jumping in to help do scheduling, adjusting electrodes on patients when therapists/admins are busy with other tasks, and checking in with other patients who aren't theirs during treatment cycles. It feels like a cooperative working environment, and that helps to put me in a more relaxed state of mind.

Fantastic experience: I moved to the area a few months ago and was hoping to find a chiropractor that I could trust for my tension headaches and for adjustments during my pregnancy. I am SO glad I found Ravenswood Chiropractic. My chiropractor is very holistic and every visit asks about my sleep, nutrition, exercise and works with me to find solutions to any aches and pains I experience during pregnancy. He listens well and gives guidance on stretches I can do at home to reduce the number of headaches I get. I always feel amazing after adjustments and that he truly cares. Highly recommend for pregnant mothers to help ease the pains of pregnancy and get baby into a favorable position for birth. (It can make birth shorter and easier!!) They are Webster certified- so they know what they are doing!!

Fantastic experience: I was patient of Dr. CJ DeFabio spring/summer 2021. He provided wonderful care and provided much relief with a hip issue. Dr. DeFabio recently checked in with me and I informed Him I had relocated to Texas. He was very quick to provide a list of providers in my area for care. You do t see this level of service often these days and it is very much appreciated!

His intuitive approach is very unusual and I completely trust him and his judgment. It’s possible that he never gives up. His staff are also friendly, thoughtful, and kind and I feel very well cared for in this clinic.

I’ve been experiencing awful TMJ pain for a year. When I first came to Dr Renn the level of pain I was experiencing was at a level 8, I essentially couldn’t function. Dr Renn provided a full assessment and rendered therapy upon my first visit. Treatments consisted of trigger point , myofascial release along with neck and back adjustments and with this method my physical pain started to decline! I started to feel “normal”. Dr Renn is extremely compassionate and listened to me. Along with adjustments I also had stem therapy and physical therapy with Ayesha which took me to the next level of pain relief. The front desk staff at Ravenswood Chiropractic and Wellness are also unmatched. They are extremely accommodating and ensure to work around my busy schedule ! That’s important for me when engaging with alternative modalities. I’m seeing them for a pinched nerve in my neck, which has led to considerable sleeping upset and tingling and weakness in my left (dominant) arm. Their approach is thoughtful, gentle, and effective. I appreciate all the bedside manner and empathy I get from Dr Dee and all of the other staff and practitioners I’ve dealt with there.

Fantastic experience: Do yourself a favor and take the trip to this establishment! Ive been going here for almost a year and I’ve got to say: every single person is really great. Everyone is welcoming and friendly. The ambiance is actually what attracted us to here. It wasn’t too flashy or sketchy. This place is cozy like a fire place. Yes, it seems they are focused on what really matters: your health. They aren’t caught up on some ego trip over how smart or successful they are which I’ve experienced at other locations.They just want to help you feel better! My favorite thing about this place is that they don’t leave you high and dry with fast paced jargon. They take the time to break down abstract thoughts so you can really understand what you’re going through. They’ll disclose/break down your treatment and there aren’t any tacky sales gimmicks they are hounding you about. They aren’t pushy and they value your time. You won’t have to wait forever to see a doctor for a simple check up you paid an outrageous amount for that they never disclosed the price of (which I’ve experienced!). I’ve never once heard any of them tell me that I need a costly MRI scan immediately or mention surgery like I’ve experienced in other places. Yes, they are truly invested in what’s best for you and they care about helping people over taking advantage of them in order to make more money. They even have fundraisers to help people in need! Fantastic experience: This is my favorite place to go for chiropractic treatment, as well as personal training, acupuncture, and massage. The entire staff is caring and talented- I avoid going anywhere else for these services. My first back injury occurred in 2018, and I've been coming here ever since. I've worked with a few different massage therapists, PTs, and acupuncturists, but everyone has always been phenomenal at taking care of me and listening to my questions and concerns.

Right now I have an annoying case of tennis elbow and he and his team are helping me through it. Dr Renn’s expertise goes beyond just adjustments (he does that too); he and his staff are all about holistic health. Fantastic experience: Dr. Renn is very sweet. The practice is growing and expanding into quite an impressive business. I went their originally because I got super FAT from a thyroid problem and wanted a large man to crack my back. I've slimmed down, but I'm staying with this place. It's organized. It has everything from PT to a roller table, massage, trigger point massage, electrical stim. Hot tea, water cooler, television. I'd be happy to just move in and live there. He's likely going to send you for x-rays, which is smart. Do it. We learned a bunch from the x-ray. He's learning about hypermobility and Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, but he is not an EDS physio. If you have EDS, you're not supposed to ever have your neck twisted by a chiro. Dr. Brander downtown is a real EDS pain and rehab doc for you. If you have hypermobility and the money to spend. I do not.

Negative experience: They lie to us about the coverage of our insurance . C’mon I work in a clinic and you guys can contact insurance for any future bills or whatever the client needs to know . At second visit , they told us that insurance will not cover what they said before and we had to pay for . Very unprofessional !!! Not going there , I know other chiropractors places that are better but little fatter locations for us .
