Fantastic experience: As a new cyclist getting into the sport I can’t lie I didn’t see a point to a bike fit. After some convincing from a friend I set up some time to get fitted to my bike. Pat was extremely knowledgeable/ helpful and I am happy to say that this bike fit dramatically improved my ride. Performance is one thing but the comfort I have sitting on my bike is a complete game changer. No matter what level you are riding at, a bike fit at Peak State is a worthwhile investment. Plus they have BANGING coffee. What more could you want!

Fantastic experience: What a great experience overall! Chris was very professional and personable and made me feel comfortable during the fit process. He provided great feedback and tips on improving my riding position, and explained his thought process with the data he was collecting in real time. This was the best fit experience I've had (2 previous at other locations in SLC) hands down. In addition, the fact that you can check in for 6 months to continue dialing in your position is awesome. The facility was very clean, and the adjoining bike shop and coffee shop are very cool. 5/5 overall!

Fantastic experience: Awesome shop, Chris and Pat are really friendly, willing to answer all my dumb cycling questions, and they hooked me up with some really great service when I took my bike in to get chain waxed. The coffee shop is cool too, they've got some good pastries and specialty coffee. Vibe inside is nice, lots of natural light, live plants, and a pretty slick wooden bar top table.

Fantastic experience: After a few seasons of on and off again pain and issues on the bike I decided to do a pre-purchase fitting with Pat before shopping for a replacement. Pat began by evaluating my strength and mobility, he let me know that the issues I’m having are liking due to muscle imbalances and poor form that was never addressed when I started riding. This is HUGE for me, I’ve had MRI’s, injections, even a bike fit by a Physical Therapist. Everything up until my appointment at Peak State felt like I was being sold a solution before we knew what the problem was. I was provided all the Retul information in the follow up as well as some great resources to start working on strength and mobility issues. I’ve since purchased a bike and can’t wait to get back to finish dialing it in. Moral of the story, get the fit!

Fantastic experience: I had knee pain for over a year that was preventing me from pushing myself as hard as I wanted on my bike and forcing me to take a lot of rest days. This was still a problem after multiple doctor visits, an MRI, and physical therapy. I got a fit with Pat, and it was amazing how much better the bike felt to ride. I appreciate that they took the time to listen to and fix any issues I had. It's now 4 months later and I no longer have any knee pain! If you are in pain from riding, go get a fit from Pat or Chris!

Fantastic experience: Peak State has been awesome to work with! Let me explain why :) Mountain Bike Fit on existing bike Pat dialed in my fit here and the difference is amazing. His attention to detail is impressive… I appreciate how he considers all variables and listens to my feedback to make the right adjustments. I achieved multiple Strava segment PRs on trails I’ve been riding all summer. I even hit a few PRs on downhill segments which I was not expecting. Not only am I faster based on objective measures but I am more comfortable. On long rides, I don’t need to stand up to ‘stretch it out’... I can sit and peddle comfortably for miles now. Pre-Fit and Bike Purchase I also did a pre-fit for a new gravel bike I was planning on buying. Pat did a thorough physical assessment and fitted me on their bike jig. He then took my ideal fit and researched a list of frames that would be ideal for my fit and goals. Thankfully I went through the prefit, otherwise I would have ordered a size too big of a frame. I ended up ordering the bike through Peak State and was able to customize the drivetrain and wheels to my needs. On my first ride, it was so nice to not have to stop multiple times to make adjustments. The bike felt dialed immediately. Also, shoutout to Chris for waxing the chain as part of their new bike build process. Im stoked to be using waxed chains instead of traditional lube. Highly recommend Peak State for fitting and bike needs!

Fantastic experience: I was walking past this shop with my dog, and he (my dog) made eye contact with a couple of employees through the window. He then sat down and refused to leave until they came outside and petted him, which they did. My dog says 5/5 bike shop, does recommend.

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience. Pat fit me to my new Cervero Soloist with perfection. I was hesitant to spend the money on a proper fit until I started to experience knee pain that kept me from being able to ride. Pat not only adjusted my bike fit but also evaluated my body and its imbalances. He wrote me a workout plan to correct the imbalances and improve my ROM. I am now back to big days on the bike with ZERO knee pain in just two weeks. I couldn't be more happy with my experience with Pat and Peak State Fit.

It's the perfect ride stop hangout, the pastries are amazing, and the coffee is provided by one of the top roasters in the country, Domestique Coffee. I really enjoy my chats with the awesome owners, Heather and Pat, or one of the smiling faces behind the espresso machine.

Fantastic experience: Couldn’t possibly say enough about this place. From the owners Pat and Heather, to the guys that work there Chris and Dakota (and a couple of chill baristas); everyone is so personable, professional, and level with you. Had a fit done by Pat, super thorough, puts you at ease, and takes the time to get into your background/prior physical abnormalities/problems that could play into your posture and performance on the bike. Will be back, for future fits and bike service alike. Coffee shop is also underrated. They know what they’re doing there.

Fantastic experience: I had a pleasure of spending about five hours with Pat for a road and gravel bike fit. For starters, they have an incredible shop where you can get coffee, snacks, buy a new bike, or get a professional fit all under the same roof. Everyone was friendly, and welcoming from the moment I arrived. As for the fit, Pat was meticulous and detailed. I could tell he also spent time reading my intake form, and really wanted the experience to be personalized to my goals and ambitions. In the end, we made quite a few changes to the bikes. I can't wait to put some miles on them and see how everything feels. If you're in the Salt Lake area, definitely swing by and at least grab a coffee, these are good people.

Fantastic experience: Spent the morning with Pat getting my Orca Aero dialed in. I’m a relatively new cyclist and I wasn’t sure what to expect so I was a bit nervous beforehand. Pat was extremely welcoming and made me a latte before the fit while we just chatted about life. He’s not only great to talk to but he’s extremely knowledgeable and very intentional with everything he does. I shared my previous experiences on my old bike and what I’d like out of this new one and he dialed it in perfectly. The bike feels like it’s holding me vs. me holding onto the bike. I thought I had my old bike figured out but this is a world of difference. Absolutely worth the money and I’ll return for every bike I purchase moving forward. 11/10

Fantastic experience: Had an awesome time during the fit. After getting used to the new body position I can say I am so much more comfortable on the bike. Numbness and other issues and injuries are already starting to fade into memory.

And I am always coming back to Dakota for bike maintenance questions I can't solve myself. Fantastic experience: I did a pre-bike fit with Chris last fall. He was super detailed and made sure I understood all of the measurements so that I could find the perfect bike. I looked at a ton of different bikes, and he was always very generous with his thoughts on which would be best for me. I finally found the winner. Within a week I made an appointment and got totally dialed in. Really happy with my experience and would absolutely go back for my future bike fitting!

In all seriousness, every time I've worked with Pat, he has perfectly adjusted my bike to fit me. With their full-service shop now in action, I can simply bring in new components for installation and fitting too. It just makes everything easy. Whether you're an avid cyclist or someone who simply wants to be a little more comfortable on occasional bike rides, Peak State Fit is the place to go to make that happen. And if you've already been fit, don't hesitate to swing in during one of your rides for a double shot espresso. just sayin, it's all there!

Fantastic experience: Simply the best. If you're on the fence just go, your body will thank you after 20 miles on your new fit. The whole staff is incredibly knowledgeable. I specifically worked with Chris and he was fantastic in helping me get a lot more comfortable on my road bike. In the future I'm going there first before I give up on a bike and/or sell it. My first ride post-fit was 2-3 mph faster on the flat sections than it was before and I had zero backpain.

My last fit was for my MTB and adjustments Casey has made have made a world of difference. I am much more comfortable and feel like I have gained power. Fantastic experience: Best fit experience I could have asked for. Not only is the fit great, but Pat is a great guy who takes the time to understand your goals and current limitations and helps shape the bike fit to accommodate both. I struggled with low back pain on my TT bike that would set in during 70.3 races and longer rides. After the fit with Pat, I was able to complete the IM Florida bike leg with a sub-5hour PR and without any pain/numbness in my lower back. I previously didn't think it was possible to be that comfortable/aero for such a long ride! Would definitely recommend working with Pat and the team at Peak State Fit to dial in your bikes for any upcoming races or for a more comfortable ride overall.

Wish I had done this way sooner but I was skeptical that a bike fit would really result in much change - how I was wrong! Since getting the road bike fit I’ve set a substantial PR up every canyon and I attribute most the gains to the new position on the bike. Pat and the whole team are super friendly and accommodating. Fantastic experience: Pat is amazing. He definitely knows his stuff. Is very experienced in the sport and not just a Joe Schmoe who knows how to run the equipment used. This fit went way more in depth than I was expecting. Started with all kinds of movements to see where my 41 year old body is failing and how to adjust to make the best of my bike. And then the follow-up for these restrictions with new stretches and movements that will help my body do what it is suppose to do properly. Definitely Highly recommend Pat for your fit. Fantastic experience: Heather and Pat (along with Dakota) were fantastic to work with during my bike fittings. I've been having issues (e.g., back pain, hands, hamstrings, and feet going numb) for years not realizing they stemmed, in part, to relying on basic fittings, and minor adjustments I've made over the years. I've ridden my MTB twice and still need to get on my gravel bike, but from just those two rides I can tell that their comprehensive custom fitting made a significant difference in my riding performance. I also noticed I could ride for much longer before I started to feel those minor issues returning and those are likely due to getting used to the the adjustments. Fantastic experience: I had a fantastic experience doing my bike fit(s) with Pat. Pat was thorough, professional, an absolute pleasure to work with! He even called to let me know he was running a bit late so that I didn’t have to wait. At my fit, he had some immediate recommendations to improve my riding experience and after he sent me detailed exercises to help strengthen areas of deficit. Fantastic experience: I worked with Pat a little while ago to have both my road bike and tri bike fit. Pat spent a great amount of time especially making sure the fit on my tri bike was optimized for both comfort and efficiency! I’m happy to report that I spent the entirety of my last half Ironman bike in aero and comfortable as ever! The icing on the cake was an all time bike PR for me. Fantastic experience: I scheduled a bike fit online from a referral. I was sent a conformation right away and reminders for my appointment. Pat gave me a call right before my appointment with some detailed directions and met me at the door, and helped me with my bike and gear. The bike fit went well, Pat is great to work with and is very knowledgeable. I would recommend getting a bike fit from Peak State Fit to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I have been cycling for a year now, and the best money I spent is on a bike fit at Peak State Fit. Pat did an amazing job! I am writing this review 3+ months after my bike fit. At first I was worried my bike was too big and I would have to spend money on a new one or parts to get me comfortable. Since the fit my hand and foot numbness has disappeared. Pat also got me strengthing my hips and core, so that I can do more miles than I could have imagined and I've climbed amzing peaks without stopping. It has also increased my average mph by 2+ mph on a 50 + miler. The riders in my riding group have noticed and have commented to me that I have taken my cycling to the next level. Thanks again, and I will be back when I look for my dream bike!!

Fantastic experience: My dad is an interim college professor and he always starts every paper he grades at 99% cause he says there’s no such thing as perfection. That being said, I always grew up telling people, you don’t ever want me giving you a rating cause the highest you can get is 4.5. So I never review anything. Pat at Peak State Fit is the first exception in my 33 years of life. Pat was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and an all around excellent teacher. If that wasn’t enough, he went above and beyond going well over the 2 hours allotted to make sure my fit was just right (I’m pretty sure he was late to a dinner at his mother’s house on my behalf). I was on the fence about getting a fit for my TT bike but decided to pull the trigger as a birthday present to myself. What a difference it made! If you’re in the fence, don’t be! It’s 100% worth it!

Fantastic experience: I got a bike fit to help fix a few comfort issues I was having and Pat's expertise helped alleviate all of my problems from a comfort perspective and those changes also increased my power on the bike. The other nice thing is all of your fit data is saved through Retul so you can go to any Retul center in the country and they would be able to see your fit data and help re-create that same fit on a new bike.

Fantastic experience: I am a beginner triathlete and had a YouTube guided “at home bike fit.” After my shoulders and neck being sore for 3+ days after every bike ride I decided it was time to go in. Pat did an amazing job and assesses your mobility to get you the best bike fit for you. I no longer have shoulder/neck soreness. I highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I came to Pat because I was coming off of a back injury, where I had to surgery because of an herniated disc. The injury left me with nerve damage down my right leg and I needed to make sure I could still pedal with power and keep the back safe. I was really uncomfortable on the bike. Pat went through a few exercises to see where my weak points were and then figured it out from there. I now ride pain free, not only that, my leg with nerve damage can put out the same power as my other healthy leg, which prior to the fit wasn’t the case. For me it was a game changer and now I can get back to a high fitness level.

Fantastic experience: Working with Pat was a great experience. I could tell that he truly cares about his work. I've been to two or three other bike fitters in my cycling history and all of them were happy with 'good enough'. NOT PAT! Pat went the extra mile, made the extra adjustment, made a delicious coffee, talked shop, and made sure that I was as comfortable and efficient on the bike as possible. I finally got out on my bike today and had the best ride I've had on this bike. I was comfortable, the bike was stable on big descents, and at the end of the ride I felt great. I'd highly recommend going to see Pat for all your bike fit needs. DO IT!

Fantastic experience: Pat was awesome I have had other bike fits in the past but this was the best and most complete from Head too toe, we looked at everything. I was also very pleased at the follow up and supporting information he provided to help with some of my underlying issues of my discomfort. This Bike fit has helped me increase power and comfort. Fantastic experience: Best bike fit around. I won’t go anywhere else. Pat has a gift for analysis of your body position with his understanding of anatomy and kinesiology, and getting you dialed in just right. As a rehab professional, I can say this with authority. Pat took the time to get to know me as a cyclist, understand my physical condition (including injuries) and made the key small adjustments that has made my bike so much more comfortable. Fantastic experience: Pat is an excellent bike fitter because he brings knowledge and experience to his approach. Bike fitting is an art. A combination of subjective and objective measures. Pat is a master of assessing both for the best fit. After my tri bike and road bike fit I was able to perform better with no knee, back, or ankle soreness. If you want to ride your bike with a smile on your face get an excellent bike fit from Pat. Make an investment in happy riding.

Fantastic experience: Peak State Fit, (Pat Casey) was recommended to me by a friend who had recently utilize their services. Upon reaching out to Pat he quickly sent me a link of his schedule where I could easily select a time slot that worked for me. Once that was done Pat quickly reached out to me by phone to discuss any problem areas that needed work. After arriving at the studio, Pat and I quickly made a connection and started to chat about what I was specifically needing with my fit. My issue was with foot pain after about two hours on the bike. We went through the assessment and made some small tweaks to the bike and the cleats on my shoes. The entire time Pat was very professional, listen to my concerns and addressed the issues. My three hour time slot literally felt like one hour. I highly recommend Peak State Fit and Pat either to address your current issues on the bike, or to just simply fit a new bike to you. Don’t spend all that money on a brand new bike and not take the time to get properly fit, which makes all the difference. Just a quick follow up to the fit. A few days after my fitting with Pat, I had two back to back days of 5 Plus hours on the bike with zero pain in my foot. That’s a win for me. Thanks Peak State Fit.
