Fantastic experience: This entire journey I’ve been on with breastfeeding was such a struggle in the beginning. My little love unfortunately had a lip and tongue tie which meant poor latch so my breast milk supply really started to decline. I was determined to breast feed. However, I had absolutely no knowledge really on how to pump, it was foreign to me as I didn’t pump with my first or second child. After taking my daughter to get a lip/tongue tie revision at Dr. poplin pediatrics, I also met the most understanding, patient, kind hearted soul, Naiomi Catron. She took one look after a pumping session and knew I was using the wrong flanges. She was very quick to get me set up with a lactation consultation with her because she knew how bad I didn’t want my breastfeeding journey to end. After trial and error, getting the hang of the spectra, changing my flange sizes, sticking to my care plan, I can proudly say I’m a little more than a “just enougher” for my daughter. The best part is, you get to keep in contact with your lactation consultant for questions or concerns or if you need to schedule another visit. I went from pumping 20-24 ounces to a total of THIRTY TWO ounces!!! You read that correctly!! If you ever feel like giving up, DONT! There are tools and people that are willing to help the best way they can, like Naiomi. Thank you SO much to Milk Diva. I will forever be grateful because I can continue my breastfeeding journey with a smile on my face because I’m so proud for not giving up.

Fantastic experience: Pregnancy was tough on my body, especially with constant pelvic and back pain that seemed impossible to manage. I turned to prenatal chiropractic care at Milk Diva during the last few weeks of my pregnancy, and it made a huge difference. The adjustments helped me feel more aligned, reduced my pain, and gave me greater freedom of movement. I also felt more energized and slept better, which was a relief during those final weeks. Fantastic experience: When my client was having some challenges with their current IBCLC, I connected them with Naiomi and she was exactly what they needed! I am grateful to her for providing the support the client was looking for.

Negative experience: I had been trying to find a lactation consultant quickly because overnight I starting having intense pain while breastfeeding- when I called the receptionist told me she was going to try to work me in or at least get me in to talk to someone or possibly the next day. She told me to give her an hour which I did- it was over an hour from when I heard back and then I was told they couldn’t see me for a week. I know it was the afternoon when I called but i would have really appreciated her being up front and saying they don’t have availability until next week. That lost over an hour of my time I could have used to find someone else. They sent me all these forms to fill out for my insurance which I did while I waited - because truly it felt like I was going to get help quickly. It seems like a bait and switch tactic because I was desperate to see someone. I would not recommend this office if you need to be seen urgently and will provide this information back to my obgyn who referred me here.

Fantastic experience: Our experience with Milk Diva was so much better than either of the two previous lactation consultant appointments that we have had, and it’s not even really close. I wouldn’t put the experience that we just had with Milk Diva in the same category as the first two appointments we had with other consultants. It was head and shoulders above anything else. They are just so much further ahead than the alternatives that we have experienced. The professionalism, the personableness, the knowledge, kindness, care, etc. are so above what the other consultants have offered. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Fantastic experience: We had such a great experience with Monnie (Katie)! Our in home visits were relaxing and she did an amazing job of educating my husband and I on what we could expect, how to help our little one be more efficient in his eating, etc.. I went from multi hour feeding sessions to 30 minutes. She also had great recommendations on bottles, pacifiers, etc., it was well worth the time and money. On top of it all, Monnie is an amazing human being so spending time with someone who is so easy to get along with made the visits even more enjoyable.

Fantastic experience: It has always been a great experience visiting Milk Diva’s office. We visited Dr. Brittany for chiropractic services. While I felt nervous at first, she always made me feel comfortable every step of the way in helping my son release body tension. Dr. Brittany always made sure to answer any question/concern of mine. I will forever be thankful for helping my family in throughout this journey.

Fantastic experience: Dr Stephanie is great! My 2 months old daughter and I went to see her for chiropractic treatments, as she was recommended by my lactation consultant and a good friend. She was kind, attentive and very professional. We are still in treatment with her, but already see an improvement with breastfeeding. The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. Fantastic experience: I am a current patient of Milk Diva and wanted to sing their praises. I’ve been working with Isabel in my home and she has changed the game for me. I was having cracked, bleeding nipples and extreme pain with breast feeding with my newborn. My pediatrician recommended Milk Diva and so I went online to schedule an appt. The next available wasn’t for a week but I didn’t care, I was just desperate to get in with someone. I made an appt on a Friday and the next day, Saturday morning, I had a text from Isabel offering an appt that following Monday instead. She worked me in because of my complaint of pain and nipple injury. I was blown away that she did that and that she reached out over the weekend. After 1 visit and adjustment of my latching technique, my nipple pain was GONE. She also made me a salve which healed the cracks in a matter of days. I am so so thankful for Milk Diva and especially Isabel. If you have any problems with feeding at all (breastfeeding or bottle) contact them asap!

Fantastic experience: My fiance and I are totally blind parents to a now 2-month-old. Our son was born a few weeks premature and with a tongue-tie, so we had trouble establishing a supply at the hospital. Isabelle helped me latch, making it look super easy. She instructed me on good practices, and she never made a big deal of the fact that we were both blind. Even though I chose not to continue breastfeeding, Isabelle and the staff at Milk Deva were supportive of my decision.

Fantastic experience: We started seeing Isabel Price when I started loosing my milk supply. She was able to pin point what was making it go down and help me build it back up. Along with bottle refusal. My baby wouldn’t want a bottle and slowly we were able to have him take one as well. She is amazing and friendly. Very patient and truly listens to us and helped us relieve so much stress as first time parents.

Fantastic experience: Love Naiomi and her team at Milk Diva! My IBCLC is Lindsay Gibson and working with her has eased so much of my anxiety about nursing my son! As a first time mom who had a c section, I felt concerned about supply issues but it turns out I have a very good supply and Lindsay has been there to walk me through all of my questions. Plus, the Milk Diva podcast is incredibly informative!! I can’t say enough about how much it helped me even while I was pregnant.

Fantastic experience: I had heard of Milk Diva through word of mouth and by the time I needed some Lactation Consultant support at home once baby was born, I finally gave them a call to book. They were booked out for a few weeks, but I was able to be seen earlier based on a last minute opening. Not every Lactation Service provider takes insurance, so I was pleasantly surprised that Milk Diva did--and they also made it soooo easy and took care of billing insurance, so one less thing for me to worry about! Katie was my LC and she was amazing. She provided me with valuable tips and insight and answered all of my questions, no matter how silly. I also appreciate all the videos and client forums you have access to as a client. I would highly recommend using Milk Diva and will plan to use them again in the future!

After my first session with Katie, she put my worries at ease. I felt so empowered after meeting with her. Fantastic experience: As a first time mom, I really didn't know what I was doing despite taking online classes and speaking with the hospital's LC. I wanted to EBF, but was struggling with latching and often wondered if my son was eating enough. I had one home visit by Isabel and I am really grateful for it, having the option of a home visit was so helpful, especially because I was running on little sleep. One visit was enough for me, but I will surely schedule something with Milk Diva in the future if I need to! Milk Diva was very thorough in explaining insurance benefits, sharing resources post-visit, and providing education during our visit!

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Isabel Price with Milk Diva enough. Our baby had difficulty nursing due to a severe tongue tie and my own anatomy. I was very determined to breast feed and was told to triple feed and use a nipple shield before I left the hospital with our baby. I did this for four weeks before seeing Isabel. My only wish is that we saw her sooner! She helped increase my supply, nurse my baby without a nipple shield, and get us to a place where I no longer have to triple feed. Isabel listened to my concerns and desires around breastfeeding, made doable plans for us, and made adjustments based on my feedback. The things that helped most that she suggested were seeing Dr. Poplin to release the tongue tie and renting a hospital-grade pump. The facts that they accept insurance, do home visits, and post your visit summary/plans to the portal are also super helpful. They have great product recommendations as well. I love the bottles, hands-free pump, and pacifiers recommended. I am so glad I’ve been able to breast feed my baby with the help of Isabel. Don’t wait, make the appointment- your mom life could be easier sooner!

Fantastic experience: I was so grateful to work with Milk Diva. I came after a 7month breast feeding journey. My little one refused to take a bottle and I was at my wits end. I didn’t realize there was service to help, but Kay was so wonderful to work with, she was patient and kind teaching me how to teach my baby girl to take a bottle. I am so grateful for all her help! My little one now takes a bottle and prefers it. Made a world of difference for my little family.

Fantastic experience: Isabel is a great LC! Highly recommend. My baby had nipple confusion problem and refused breastfeeding for two days. My baby latched well and drank from my breast immediately with the guidance from Isabel in my first appointment. She also provided care instructions to help me heal my cracks and wounds on my nipples quickly. I highly recommend to book an appointment with her even before your delivery so you can get the support as early as possible.

Fantastic experience: Katie helped me with my sons latch a handful of times the first month he was born, and again a month later to evaluate another feed. It took us a while but he finally got it down! She was so supportive and gave me so many tidbits. She also helped me navigate thrush and gave me advice on care. She is so friendly and relatable, and lifted me up when I was feeling down in the postpartum haze. I loved working with her, and as happy as I am that my son is latching properly, I’m sad she won’t be visiting anymore! Highly recommend Milk Diva, especially Katie.

Fantastic experience: Milk Diva was a godsend to me and my little guy in the early months. Naiomi saved my breastfeeding journey and my sanity when she caught a poorly released tongue tie after my 8 week old fell off the growth charts. With her amazing kindness, expertise, and diligence, she also connected us with the providers we needed to maintain and thrive with breastfeeding. I cannot thank her enough for being the light at the end of a long tunnel of figuring out why breastfeeding wasn’t working for Milo and I. I didn’t think I would make it to 6 months of breastfeeding, but just recently celebrated 2 years of breastfeeding my little guy! I almost can’t wait to have another baby so I can work with Naiomi again!

Fantastic experience: Both Katie and Kay were super helpful, and having them come to my house was really great considering how difficult it is to go anywhere with a little baby. Plus, having in-person help (versus virtual) is actually a must-have. Getting hands on help made me feel a lot more confident and taken care of. I also love the app they have for random questions that come up and for feeling less alone during the BF journey. I recommend working with Milk Divas!

Fantastic experience: I wish I could give Naiomi 10 stars. she was absolutely amazing in supporting me through the feeding struggles with my premie. it is obvious she genuinely cares about the families she's working with. She always asked me about how I'm feeling, and how my quality of life is with our current plan. She really puts moms mental health first and ensures her recommendations fit your lifestyle. she is encouraging, approachable, not judgmental and just overall makes you so comfortable! I've seen a few LC, especially at the hospital, and they felt a little bit judgmental regarding breastfeeding. Naiomi was the complete opposite and I looked forward to my appointments with her!

She had taught us all the little tips and tricks for our newborn as he was having a hard time latching and I was a little discouraged. Fantastic experience: Milk diva was the best thing I found on my breastfeeding journey. Kay was so amazing and supportive, she is really knowledgeable and was so important to boost my confidence in the process. She was the salvation on the nipple confusion my baby was having due to some incorrect advices I got from professionals. Breastfeeding was a priority for me and when everybody tried to convince me that I had done enough and it was ok to go to formula and bottles, Kay empowered me and was so kind to teach me techniques and patience, creating personalized strategies and weekly follow ups to make sure everything was getting better. Im still breastfeeding and it’s my favorite moment with my baby. I can’t thank Kay enough!

Fantastic experience: I will recommend Milk Diva to anyone needing lactation services. My experience has been amazing. I first met Katie one week postpartum for an initial lactation consultation and have seen her several times since during this journey. From the very beginning she made me feel listened to and comfortable. She’s extremely knowledgeable and sweet. They handled all of the insurance stuff and have an easy to use portal where all of your notes and advice gets stored. I’ll also be using Katie in a couple months to help with transitioning baby to solid foods. 10/10 would definitely recommend!

My virtual appointment with Kay was easy and convenient; because of Kay I was finally able to find my correct flange size after 2 months! Fantastic experience: Milk Diva was a godsend to me and my baby in his first two months of life - we worked with Kay and without her we would not be breastfeeding! My son had a tongue tie and Kay gave us exercises that increased his range of motion and improved his latch and his suck, and she helped us decide to move forward with a tongue tie revision by pediatric dentist Dr. Poplin. Kay also properly fit me with the correct size flanges for my pump, and offered many tips to help me increase my milk supply. They also have a great website with breastfeeding accessories that are so helpful. I can’t recommend Kay and Milk Diva highly enough - I knew zilch about breastfeeding before my son was born, and their help was truly indispensable.

Fantastic experience: Be kind to yourself, ask for help, and please don't suffer through. As a new mom four years ago, I had no idea the challenges that nursing would bring. I researched. I prepared. I purchased. I was firmly in the "it will just come natural" camp. By the end of the first week, I was faced with the reality of just how much I needed help. We were truly blessed to find Christen Bettis. Her kindness and reassurance immediately put me at ease. She helped us to find a path forward and worked to adjust our path along the way. Her patience and guidance brought us back to a healthy, successful, and happy nursing bond. She was the first person I called after the birth of our second child. I credit Christen with giving us the gift of her wisdom, my renewed confidence, and not one, but two beautiful nursing bonds. Yes, it seems more mama's struggle than not. But, hang in there mama, you are in good company, and you've got this. The journey is so very worth it.

Fantastic experience: I used Milk Diva after having my first child. My daughter had a minor tongue tie which made latching more difficult for her and more painful for me. I worked with Kay for a couple of weeks, and she really helped us! We worked together on latching positions, exercises to do with the baby each day, and a few other tricks to improve nursing. I used these tips for my second child, even though my second daughter didn’t have a tongue tie, nursing is still really hard at first! I’d definitely recommend working with Milk Diva if you’re a new mom figuring out how to breast feed successfully and pain free.

Fantastic experience: Very friendly and always available to message if I had questions, even months later. Also always responded promptly, even at odd hours, which was super nice since I had my baby on a weekend and was having issues with breastfeeding. She was able to get me in on that Tuesday (Monday was a holiday). She was so helpful and supportive of my decision ultimately to not breastfeed, which I think is important and something not all LC’s do. I’d definitely recommend Milk Diva, they care about you, the individual, and your baby, and just want what’s best for everyone involved.

She helped me discover the root of the issue - a lip and tongue tie that had not been previously diagnosed. She referred me to a great pediatric dentist to help, and she even drove all the way out to Bastrop to visit me. I can’t thank her enough!

Fantastic experience: My lactation consultant was so genuinely kind and loving. She was a source of support when I was most vulnerable. She made me feel comfortable to try interventions with my 2nd child that I had not needed to do with my first. She also recognized a tounge tie when the doctor did not. The service they provide is invaluable.

Negative experience: I came here for help with my 3 week old baby because she was clicking when she latched. Naomi, while very nice, explained that my daughter had a tongue tie way in the back and suggested stretches and a tongue tie clip with their next door neighbor Dr. Poplin. She made it seem like she snuck me in ahead of all of the other appointments, when in reality they were joining together as a team the next week. I felt that she was really pushing me to see Poplin instead of another doctor, so I chose another doctor purposely because it felt yucky to be pushed. I got my daughter's tongue tie clipped and she couldn't latch for three weeks, was in tons of pain, and had an aversion to feeding for a while, and the clicking was even worse than it was before. Turns out I was an oversupplier and she was born a few weeks early, so she couldn't keep my breast in her mouth, the clicking was because of forceful letdown. My daughter used to stick out her tongue so far that she could touch her nose and it was an adorable and funny part of her personality, which Naomi also noticed. Poor baby was so traumatized that she never stuck her tongue out again. Naomi tried to get me to buy a pacifier that, if I remember correctly, she said was unbranded and that they were working on a prototype for. She said my baby should be able to latch on it, but it actually was a Ninico paci, which many babies can't take, and she made me feel sort of bad about it and tried to get me to buy it anyways. It seemed that she was trying to bill us for multiple appointments that we didnt need, and on top of it, tried to upsell a product to us. As a second time mom I caught onto her and didn't show up to my third unnessary appointment, but it's pretty predatory for new Moms. She sent me a text to send a review, I wasnt going to throw her under the bus, but here we are.

Fantastic experience: Naiomi was such a delight to work with! She provided invaluable information that helped me work through my nursing issues in a compassionate way. She taught me some great techniques on how to become more comfortable with nursing and gave me excellent advice on what size of pumping flange would be best for me. I highly recommend Milk Diva!

Fantastic experience: Christen Bettis was amazing, I've been able to breastfeed going on 15 months and some of the early moments we had a struggles I would not be in this position today if it weren't for Christen and our 3 visits in the comfort of my own home. I had more confidence I was doing a great job and got so many tips and pointers I wouldn't have managed alone. It was always such a relief to have her support during and after our visits. Christen also went above and beyond and is such a great person too. So thankful for Milk Diva and all the nutrition I've been able to provide and sweet moments with my baby I am forever grateful for. For the cherry on top, my insurance covered everything :) 100% would recommend!

As a first time mom, I was having a hard time positioning my baby and being comfortable while feeding. Katie Tims was super kind and thorough with showing me different ways to help me and baby achieve our feeding goals! She listened and was non-judgmental throughout the entire process! She single-handedly saved me so many times in this journey. I’ve had several in home visits because as the baby grows and changes, so does breastfeeding. Fantastic experience: This review is several months overdue (welcome to parenthood!) but I have to give a huge shoutout to Naiomi at Milk Divas! When we brought our baby home from the NICU, we knew we needed support in learning how to breastfeed and setting up a game plan as I felt quite lost. We were so thankful to work with Naiomi starting on day one of bringing our baby home. Each visit we left feeling supported, encouraged, and with a plan that would help guide our new family. She is incredibly knowledgeable and skilled. She is a natural educator and shares the latest evidence-based practices. Our baby is now thriving and eating like a champ these days and we will forever be grateful for our time working with Naiomi!

Negative experience: I’m pretty disappointed in my experience. This was my second time going to a lactation consultant and after seeing the amazing reviews, I was happy to come here to figure out what’s causing my little one latching issues. For $200, I would have expected more than an hour and at least getting my primary issue addressed. My LO is 3 months old, I saw Kay who also had someone shadowing her to learn. The first 40 minutes were watching her feed for 10 minutes, witnessing her issue (that I came in for) where she “fights the boob” at the 10 minute mark and struggles eating though still hungry. Weighed her.. tried feeding her again to watch her do the same thing, changed her diaper then checked her mouth. Through the whole thing you could tell Kay wasn’t sure what was going on and didn’t offer any pieces of advice besides some tongue exercises, and just kept talking about the app. So for the remaining 20 mins she showed me the exercises (5 mins) and just sat in silence “thinking” or kept talking about the app. How I can use the app to show the issue and talk with her…. I just showed her the issue though, and she had no suggestions! Then told me to book another appointment to talk about pumping. Why would I spend another $200 for pumping when we couldn’t even address my first issue? As a first time mom, it felt defeating. I felt it was nothing but a marketing meeting for the app. I would think if you’re not sure what’s going on, then admit it and maybe see if one of your other team members could help? If you’re looking for help just latching your LO and are a first time mom, then I’m sure they are great. But just be aware that targeting certain issues you may not get those answers and will be told repeatedly about the app.

Fantastic experience: Christen is a wealth of knowledge and a wonderful resource! As a first time mom, the first few weeks of the breastfeeding journey were intense and tough. I learned a tremendous amount from Christen. She made herself available for questions and was highly responsive. She made me feel completely supported and it made a big difference for me in those round-the-clock hours of baby’s first few weeks.

Fantastic experience: Naomi helped me get my baby girl from 2nd percentile and dropping, all the way up to the 8th percentile in a matter of months. This helped us alleviate concerns and avoid GI dr visits. Her advice was clear, and I was not confused at all about how to proceed with the plan. Her After months of confusion and worry, she gave us the clarity and help we desperately needed. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: What an amazing experience! I've been struggling with breastfeeding for 8 months with my twins. I initially went to another lactation consultant when they were infants but felt nothing came of it. I decided to try one more time with another company to ensure Im able to make it at least a full year of nursing. Christen was an absolute dream to work with. She made me instantly comfortable and it felt like I had known her forever. She really listened and had excellent recommendations. I regret not calling sooner. I feel so much more confident now. After she left I felt like the weight of the world had been taken off my shoulders. Breastfeeding is one of the hardest things I have ever done in my life and it really helps to have an expert in your corner!

Fantastic experience: Milk divas gave me the information and confidence I needed to get my little one back to latching. He had gone 3 weeks without taking the nipple and has now taken it every day at least once for a week! I definitely recommend this for mamas who are frustrated and exhausted.

Fantastic experience: I am SO GLAD I was referred to Milk Diva! I met with Naiomi for a consultation before my 8 week old baby has a tongue and lip tie revision. Now you, like me, may wonder how much a lactation consultant could assist with a 100% bottle fed baby. But there's been a night and day difference with my baby since our meeting with Naomi. She showed me a better feeding position, recommended a different bottle with a nipple that my baby could better eat with, and gave me stretches to do with my baby to set her up for success after her revision. My baby was leaking streams of milk out of her mouth like crazy before our visit; now only the tiniest and I mean the tiniest amount, comes out. AND she started sleeping through the night. Not only was Naiomi knowledgeable, she was so kind and intuitive. All around a FANTASTIC experience!

Fantastic experience: Dooo it!! This was one of the best things I did for myself and my family. If you plan on breastfeeding, having a lactation consultant can really help with any question, insecurities and support you need during the very hard postpartum period. Honestly, I received more postpartum support from Milk Divas than anywhere else. Kay is soooo supportive and encouraging. I never felt judged or like I was doing anything wrong. I learned some very helpful tips and tricks and really gained confidence in my ability to breastfeed my child. Milk Divas also gives you access to great resources for many obstacles you may face during the postpartum period. They recommended my pelvic floor PT, and Osteopath for my baby as well as a new Obgyn because I wasn't feeling supported by mine. Kay validated all of my feelings and experiences. My husband came along too. This helped him gain a better understanding of what was needed for our baby and what I was going through. You also have access to your consultant through an online portal for any questions that come up. Great breastfeeding support for any postpartum mama's out there!

Fantastic experience: I can not recommend Milk Diva enough! Christen from Milk Diva was such a lifesaver to me in the early months after my fourth baby was born. She was truly a Godsend to me when I really needed support and guidance. She helped me from one month postpartum until I officially stop breastfeeding at a year. Having breastfed three babies with absolutely zero issues, I was completely blindsided when my sweet little one was not gaining weight and needed to be supplemented with bottle-feeding, needed a lip and tongue tie procedure, and ultimately became an exclusive-pumping mama. It was all new to me and it was extremely overwhelming trying to navigate all the information, feelings, hormones, needs of all four of my kids, and so forth. But Christen came in and was available, helpful, so kind, nurturing and in the midst of my panicking would say things like “I’m so excited!” I would wonder what there was to be excited about ;) but she always had a lot of hope, which meant a lot to me. And she genuinely was excited to see me and my baby each session and see what progress had been made. Making the choice to exclusively pump was not what I wanted and I wanted more than anything to exclusively nurse like I had done for my other babies. And despite all of the “breast is best” emphasis out there today, it simply wasn’t going to work if I wanted my little guy to gain weight and thrive; and Christen helped me navigate making that decision in consideration of my baby, my three other kids, and myself. I could go on and give many examples of precious and encouraging things she said to me over the course of 11 months of working with her, but that feels a little much for a google review :) So I’ll end it with this- if you are needing support, care, advice, and encouragement from women who know how to help, you are in the right hands with Milk Diva.
