I was able to see improvement in my knee pain within 2 weeks. He is very thorough & takes time to work with each patient personally, additionally suggests Excercises that you can do at home as well. Fantastic experience: This is one of the best places I’ve had physical therapy from. I have issues with TMJ and my back. They always perform excellent care with exercise but also relaxation as well. I have seen both Rushi and Jolly. For my TMJ, they perform intraoral massage (which HURTS) but always make sure I’m doing okay. They also do dry needling and ultrasound therapy. If needed they also do hands on massage therapy. I changed insurances this year and I was afraid my new insurance wouldn’t work with them but they do! I am so happy I found them. I highly recommend! They are always so nice and professional!

Fantastic experience: When I walked in Day 1, I had issues walking, running because of injuries to my right knee. Within minutes of monitoring, examination and observation - Rushi was able to identify the root cause and focus on remedies. Its been 2+ months since I started and the progress has been phenomenal. I can run long distances and just signed up for my half marathon in March. Love the cordial setup, support and care at the facility. The staff is amazing as well. Definitely recommended for any physio needs.

Negative experience: I was reeled in here by the reviews, but should have trusted my instinct after 5-6 visits that I wasn't seeing progress. The first 1-3 visits were good, but it drastically fell off. Rushi was constantly distracted during my sessions and would disappear for 5-6 minutes at a time multiple times in 1 hour. He really had no idea how my shoulder was progressing and really did not have a clue how my recovery was going. He also mentioned that he was going to recommend an MRI location that would not charge a full price, and he fell thru on that request as well. Very disappointed. I was hoping to be heeled by now, but unfortunately going somewhere else now to start my rehab over. If you have a language barrier and need someone to speak gujurati/hindu to you, this is probably the place and also, someone middle aged or older. I wouldn't recommend this place for people who are very active

I had big issues with my Hip Joints and was not able to do physical activities including my daily walks. After getting physical therapy at this facility I have been pain free and have been walking 5 miles nonstop without pain!!! The staff and therapists are very knowledgeable and very efficient. I am a psychiatrist and I would like to say the mannerism is very professional the environment at the clinic is professional and very motivating for the patients. Fantastic experience: My therapist took the time to examine my body and the cause of my many discomforts. I've had serious neck and back pain from years of stress, and my posture has started to deteriorate. She tailored a routine to meet my needs, as well as explained what muscles needed to be strengthened, so this could be a long-term solution. She was also very upfront and explained that this would take a long time to correct and that initially, my relief would only be temporary. Overall, a very good experience.

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience with the whole staff. They are kind and give great customer/patient care. As a senior citizen, I had problems with hip pain and walking. The therapy I received has me back walking normal and improved my mobility. No pain anymore. Their techniques and patience worked for me. I recommend them to everyone everywhere I go!!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to this rehab for my knees for a month and half now, and the treatment has made a temendous difference. I can move around easily now with minimum or no stiffness in my knees. The staf and especially the director, they are so friendly and warm that it immediately puts you at ease. The physical therapy that the director gives is outstanding and fantastic. What a difference it has made in my day to day movements. His calm and soothing voice is enough to put you at ease and give you confidence that you can do it. The facility is very well equipped with all sorts of equipments to provide any kind of treatment you need. Even scheduling the appointments at your convenience is lot easier. Fantastic experience: I had a trimalleolar fracture and I was handled with good care and guidance. I personally believe Rushi has a healing touch. After the massage of my ankle I always feel very comfortable, the mobility feels better and the swelling reduces a lot too.

Fantastic experience: I am incredibly grateful to Rushi and his team for helping me regain range of motion over 5 weeks after tearing some elbow ligaments WITHOUT NEEDING SURGERY! I came in with my elbow ROM stuck at about 85 degrees and now have just about full range of motion. Rushi has wonderful bedside manner and is great at keeping conversation to distract from any discomfort during the exercises. He is kind and truly great at what he does. I recommend anyone with physical therapy needs to go see him!

Fantastic experience: I really enjoy going here for physical therapy sessions. Sheetal aunty and Dr. Rushi are both really friendly. I had two injuries (right knee and left ankle) and Dr. treated both of them in just 2 weeks in time for my cricket tournaments. The treatment was fantastic and gave me instant relief. I was able to play all my cricket tournaments without any pain. I would always like to come back here for physical therapy sessions.

Fantastic experience: I have visited quite a few physical therapy clinics in and around Frisco , however biggest challenge was frequent changes in the therapist even if you continue with one clinic. Had a severe lower back pain again and was looking for some therapist. And this time , very happy to have found Texas Star rehab and PT Rushi Shahiwala. He is very experienced and knowledgeable Physical therapist, he is friendly and most importantly gives you lot of confidence in your recovery while he works on you. I got positive results from first day itself and good recovery within couple of weeks. His main clinic is in Irving. I have been to Frisco clinic in Richwoods academy , which is a decent set up. I am happy with the treatment so far and would definitely recommend him for any of your rehab / PT needs.

Fantastic experience: I had a broken shoulder ligament and needed physical therapy to strengthen the shoulder and get rid of the pain as my earlier therapy with another center did not yield the results I was expecting. Rushi and team were fantastic in helping me to get rid of pain. The best part is that he has deep knowledge of muscles, bones and customizes his treatments for different issues. Rushi also helps my son, who plays sports, in strength training which is helping him a lot. Sheetal has been awesome in scheduling the visits ahead of time and flexible enough to take care of any last minute urgencies. Fantastic experience: I went to this place with a lot of skepticism but boy was I wrong !! Sheetal at the front office was awesome , the doctor was fantastic. I came with a shoulder injury , could not move my right arm. In 3 visits I was 90% better. Now I am working on strengthening. Fantastic experience: Physiotherapy is so underrated but I swear by it.I got diagnosed with Lateral Epicondylitis (Tennis Elbow) couple of months back. I tried some conservative treatments and support bands for elbow at home but as the damage was already done those didn't help much and clearly this being a muscle injury taking OTC medications was not the ideal choice when looking for a long term treatment. I started looking around the area for physical therapy and got to know about Texas Star Rehab and Performance Center.Dr.Rushi is a great physiotherapist. His methods of treating each patient are very dynamic which i liked the most at his facility. Right from the 1st appointment till date (Been 2 months) his diagnosis has been spot on and he has been giving me exercises where i can see my injury getting better as each session progresses and i am able to do chores without much discomfort what previously i couldn't. Something about the Office team. Sheetal a big shout out to you. You have been amazing at the front desk whether it was the initial paperwork, scheduling appointments, cancellation and/or any payment query.Please know your patience and helping gesture is much appreciated.
