Negative experience: DON'T EVEN DO IT!

Negative experience: I am once again giving this place a one star review for another issue. I was called by a nurse practitioner from ICHS for a surgical follow up even though I already had one with my ER surgeon. I wasn’t sure what the protocol at the time was, so I thought maybe I needed to come in. The nurse was telling me I should still be taking oxycodon even though I voluntarily chose to stop taking it early due to its addictive nature. She also told me I shouldn’t be taking ibuprofen post surgery like my surgeon recommended. I decide to do the appointment since she told me they’ll check if my incision sites are infected. I come in and they have me sign paperwork telling me I need to switch my PCP back to them since I changed my insurance. I was confused because I had already told them I no longer wanted to go to their clinic as my last visit was a nightmare, but I didn’t want my billing to be screwed up either. I’ve been having health issues and I can’t wait over a week to get a referral to just have them mess it up and wait a week each time they have to change something because they just can’t seem to get it right. Overall, I felt unsafe to the point that when the provider was jabbing at my stomach 6 days post appendectomy I started having a panic attack because I was scared she was going to hurt me. I don’t think she did anything wrong, she was very understanding. My complaints are with the other staff whom have caused this distrust. I called the next day to redact the paperwork and was basically told they couldn’t because it was Saturday. I don’t know why they told me that it would mess up my billing if I didn’t switch it to them. I was being coerced into signing paperwork I didn’t understand, then when I called my insurance afterwards and they told me the opposite. I don’t know why a nurse thinks she knows better than the surgeon who operated on me and is trying to coerce me into taking oxycodon I said I didn’t want or need. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I think the reviews are inflated. Don’t waste your time here. If you need anything you’re better off with UW medicine or Swedish even though they’re busier.

Fantastic experience: Love this clinic, they have medical and dental care, very convenient. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The dental technician Hong was very good and thorough. For the first time in our lives, my wife and I learned how to floss correctly.

Negative experience: Horrible service, rude staff, and they treat you incredibly unkind if you are not a POC. I had a filling done here, it was on the back of a molar, while drilling they chipped the front of my tooth. The back filling cracked and fell out after about 7 months. They do poor work, treat you bad and only do one thing at a time. When I don’t have state insurance and can go to a REAL dentist there is no problem doing a cleaning and a filling in the same appointment…here they only do one thing at a time. Meaning if you have 2 cavities…you’re coming back twice. It’s a way to gouge the state and make maximum profits at the expense of the health of patients teeth. They should be shut down!

Negative experience: This clinic is so slow and the people are so rude. Nobody will talk to you. Your appointment is at 10am and they leave you in a room until 11am and won’t even tell you nothing. This place is horrible!!

Fantastic experience: I hate going to the doctor. I don't trust doctors or medical professionals. Just making appointments are stressful for me because my whole life I've received terrible care, or at least substandard care...with doctors that really don't know what they're talking about, or don't seem to have decent interpersonal skills or a wide range of knowledge to discuss a range of issues. But I was out of a prescription that I needed for my mental health, and my insurance didn't cover a visit to the doctor I'd seen previously, elsewhere. Long story short, I had my first appointment on Saturday with Jessica Troung, a Registered Nurse there, and she spent literally an hour with me, reviewing my medical (chronic pain throughout back, shoulders, hips) and mental health history, discussing various options for treatment and support. This was the first time in forever that I actually felt cared for by medical personnel. Many doctors in the past only spend a few minutes with me, and talk down to me or dismiss my concerns about the options they suggest, or they only have a very narrow range of knowledge. I did not find this here. I found compassion, understanding, expertise, and in general an open and flowing discussion, which included recommendations, prescriptions and several referrals to specialists. She also made recommendations based on my health and immunization history that I would have never known to ask about. Overall, I was really impressed with everything here, except for the person who initially takes you into the room and weighs you. She seemed very disinterested in being there and had a very creepy vibe. But that's so much better than seeing a doctor with a creepy vibe, so I'll accept that. In general, this was one of the best experiences I've ever had with a basic annual physical exam. I'm grateful that I found this place.

Fantastic experience: THE MOST DETAILED AND SPECIFIC DOCTOR'S OFFICE I HAVE EVER BEEN TO IN MY LIFE. THEY ENCOURAGE ALL UP-TO-DATE EVERYTHING. ADMIN AND NURSES ACTUALLY CALL ME BACK FOR FOLLOW UPS. EASTERN MEDICINE THROWN IN!

Negative experience: A warning regarding mental health care at ICHS Shoreline: It seems the primary mental health care provider is a PMHNP, who I shall not name. That provider is, frankly, not good at her job. She doesn’t listen, doesn’t retain information well, made at least one very serious (and, it turned out, incorrect) diagnosis extremely quickly. Having made her diagnosis she was quick to prescribe powerful and dangerous medication. She should not be practicing. As long as she is the mental health provider, I cannot recommend this clinic for anyone with mental health issues. She also only sees patients remotely, because she’s located halfway across the country. GPs seem to be early in their careers and are very good. The two I’ve had (one moved on after I had been seeing her for about a year) have been very helpful in finding appropriate care through referrals.

Fantastic experience: I have found this clinic to run like a tight ship. The appt. are on time and there is no wait.you are seen at your allotted appointment time. That cannot be said for all doctors offices. They do dental as well as mental health here also,and for convenience they have a pharmacy within the building which is very helpful for people who have transportation issues,handicaps,& and other hindrances from making multiple stops for gathering their medication. Of course you don't have to use that pharmacy,perhaps,like in my situation,I have mine sent to same place I do my grocery shopping. That is also convenient. I have found the best doctor there I love her to pieces. She is the absolute best,coolest doctor and she treats you with so much care and strives yo get to the core of all you health ailments,no matter what it takes!!Atalaya Ombati ‐highly recommended shoreline location

Thank you also to all the doctor's of ICHS shoreline who's taking care of us me and my family! Clinic is clean and organized, staffs are friendly and accommodating! The best!

Negative experience: I've been going here for years & I don't understand if this is a new policy for ICHS to do, but my dental appointment which was booked MONTHS ago for Oct 25th, was canceled. They only left me a voice message to notify me that they canceled it due to my insurance not covering the service. If thats the case, we could have discussed alternative payment options. I've paid out of pocket before at this location & never have they canceled my appointment before speaking to me. This is very upsetting for this to happen especially with how far advanced these appointments need to be booked. They booked someone else for my appointment slot & refused to rebook me for that day. If its so easy to cancel an appointment & rebook someone else, how come they cannot cancel that person's appointment like they did with me & let them know of the miscommunication? Extremely frustrating having to deal with this & no one can take responsibility at ICHS

Negative experience: Don't go to the second floor and ask to use the restroom. You will be asked to make an appointment then told to go outside and use the bushes. There's always one A-hole that HR can't fire.

Fantastic experience: Very nice clinic. Everything under one roof... medical, dental, counseling, pharmacy, massage, acupuncture... So far the providers have been very nice and professional.

Fantastic experience: I received a new Dr. And her name is Stephanie Tougas and she's the most caring and concerned Dr. That I have ever had in my entire life.

Negative experience: I was treated very badly by the front desk people there. I had set an appointment and without contacting me they moved it. Why was my appointment moved without contacting me?how was I supposed to know I was supposed to be there?. If it's a matter of the doctor not being able to see me at the set apt time I had made in person, then why not just cancel when I arive and then set another appointment. Instead I show up and was told I was 4hours too late. They hadn't talk to me they called my phone had no service at the time why set an appointment for someone that knows nothing about it insurance fraud?

Fantastic experience: I am a new patient at this clinic and I can only say that it is the best, everyone is so kind and cordial, patient and with you at every step, from the moment you enter to the moment you leave. Dr. Atalaya is so kind and she listens to your concerns very carefully, giving you the best to help you recover. I recommend this clinic 100%

Negative experience: #1 problem with this place is that their accent is way too thick and hard to understand them #2 problem is that a LOT of them disrespect ppl who aren't Chinese...even Asians get dissed if they're not Chinese Also, the pharmacy is unprofessional in person and unresponsive on phone, plus voice messages get ignored

Negative experience: OK, so far they get 1 because there is not a ZERO. I went in, ruptured Achilles, not something you want to wait on to get fixed. I tell them i am needing a referral to a surgeon, you know the insurance routine. So, they tell me I should hear from somebody in a few days. It is going on two weeks, I call them and thy say they are not a referral company! Really? That is what I made the appointment for. So, now going on a month, i am probably a permanent cripple, getting kind of late to even get surgery. Something not right about this place, really bad health care, bad communication, very weird.Big huge but VERY empty place.

Negative experience: Went in for dental appointment. The first thing the doctor dentist did was try and find a different dentist for me to go to, like Bellevue. Made me feel so.e type of way. So, I asked "whats the problem. Am I too far? She say "oh no I was just saying there's a place closer to where you live". I told her I do my research and choose where I want to go. I never went back because of how that make me feel as a black woman..

Negative experience: 0 stars Awful service and rude receptionists/telephone staff. The dental service will mess your teeth up more than they fix them and then ask that you just come back to get then "fixed" again. After completely botching the job they will suddenly not want to see you anymore.

Positive experience: Easy in and out for my Covid vaccine. Front desk staff seemed pretty jaded and could have been a bit friendlier. There is very little parking, so expect to have trouble finding a spot.

Negative experience: God why is there no 0 star option. These people kept calling me to cancel my dentist appointments due to scheduling troubles. It's just my teeth that are waiting and rotting out of my mouth. So if you actually want work done dont waste months here.

Fantastic experience: ICHS Team are the best care my mama ever had. I want to shout out for: -Team Medical; Doctor Lili Sperry , Tenzin (MA), Jenny (Nurse), Tsering (Lab) they are genuinely caring the fullest for my elderly mama. They are very patient and kind to mama, they make sure mama get everything she needs. Mama can feel their love and care for her, even though mama does not understand English. Mama always happy to meet them. -Team Pharmacy; Paul Nguyen (Pharmacist) and Thi Van (Technician), they both very helpful & kind. Mama has long lists of medication, so I have so many questions, and Paul always eager answering all my questions in detail & patient. Paul & Thi both are very caring to customers. Always willing to help. I highly recommend this clinic for everyone, you will love their service!

Negative experience: I'd give them a 0 if I could. Completely butchered my teeth to the point I now need more medical work than I've ever had done before due to what they did. Never ever let a student work on you- had to go back multiple times for a botched filling and then they straight up cancelled the rest of my appointments without warning me! 2 years later and I'm still paying the price of their shoddy workmanship!

Negative experience: They are very unprofessional and discriminated against me I was asked if I was a man or woman I waited 8 days and I never saw a Dr. just a nurse and she supposedly she got ill after an 1hr 1/2 Of assisting and a Dr. and resident student came after to assist I felt extremely uncomfortable they violated my privacy and mistreated me and violated my rights.

Fantastic experience: I'm fairly a new patient here but my Nurse Practioner is so nice and attentive. Waiting time is really quick and well as their pharmacy.

I went their to see a Dr. and do annual exam at the same time have my Dr. to fill out some form for my school about the vaccine and staff, they ask me $320 to pay, and they say we do not accept insurance??? who dose that??? as lone as my insurance pays it why not? they just can not explain this to me. I do not know how this place work when you can not understand them and they do not understand you too. need improve there service and get some training! I will never going back to the medical clinic. Thanks to UW medical clinic it was done in one week, no waiting to long or anything like this.

Positive experience: Some misunderstandings but I've been going here for almost 4 years. My doc was on vacation when I delivered myself.

Fantastic experience: First two visits were great, and the fourth one. Looks like they corrected the filling from last time and everything is fine for now. Just because I don't want you all to have a bad rating and I'm sure someone reads these, I've edited my review :). Just to nitpick - I felt pain during some of the drillings and was asked whether or not *I* "had trouble getting numbed" - please do correct me if I'm wrong but the patient has no control over whether or not he or she feels numb correct? Eventually they just gave me more of the stuff and it was fine. Thanks.

Fantastic experience: This clinic is very efficient and well staffed with smart, friendly professionals from the front desk to the doctors. . The pharmacy is superb and the ladies that manage it are wonderful. I had a last minute request one Friday just before close and they exhausted every option for me, followed up promptly with an update and ultimately resolved my issue. these ladies are true professionals and their prowess shows! This single example of priceless service was more than enough to earn my loyalty to their clinic and pharmacy. Thank You Lea & Katrina!!
