Fantastic experience: Today is day 2 and all I can say is that the staff was amazing. Kaitlyn met me at the door at 5:30am with a warm smile and excitement. Talking to her made a lot of the nervousness leave. We shared stories and funny moments. By the time that I went back the procedure I felt like I had made a friend. During the procedure she kept check on me and I could tell that she really cared. When I got home my husband knew everything to do because she went over it thoroughly. He even said that she checked on me. When my daughter got home and read over my paperwork Kaitlyn had left me a little note inside that only her and I would laugh at. Doctor Brian was amazing. He walked me through what would happen and made sure that I had no discomfort. He even gave me trivia questions to keep me entertained. They were amazing. 10 out of 10!!!! Now where is my pain medicine lol,

Negative experience: If I could give no stars I would. Terrible service. Made two appointments driving 45 minutes to get here to be told both times that I would have to wait two hours before being seen, what’s the point in making an appointment. And if this is something that is known contacting the person before they drive all the way to the location to give them an option of rescheduling or coming would be better than just saying I’m sorry it’s nothing I can do.

Negative experience: Office staff is unprofessional. Signed up for a consultation. Arrived for appointment 15 min early as requested. No one at the front desk. Waited and picked up clip board and filled out form, no one at the desk. After 30 minutes of waiting someone came out and claimed to have been at the desk. Then I was informed that the Consultant had a tooth emergency and would not be able to see me. Rescheduled appointment upon insistence from a corporate operator. On Day of appointment I called to confirm 30 minutes prior to appointment. I drove 20 mins and was then called 5 minutes before I arrived, to let me know that the consultant was leaving at 2:15 and would not be able to see me for my 1:30pm appointment. I asked for manager, but I was told she was in a meeting. Asked for a return call. It has bee 24hrs with no return call. No I will not go back.

Positive experience: They pulled the bait and switch on me. I was told one thing in the consultation and minutes before the procedure was told that to get the results that I wanted it would require a tummy tuck, which costs an additional $5000. I'm somewhat pleased, but not $7000 worth.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely loved my experience during my surgery! My nurse Kaitlyn took amazing care of me before, during and after surgery! Having her and Dr. Ayewah in the same room during my surgery made the experience really fun, fast and overall uplifting! Highly recommend this amazing duo to get you looking right and tight!

Negative experience: I made an appointment for a consultation and arrived 15 minutes early, per the instructions. When I arrived, I was told that I would have an hour and a half to a two hour wait. I asked why I wasn’t called prior to my appointment to give me an option to reschedule and asked why my appointment time was not being honored. The response, “Do you want to reschedule or wait?” I advise booking your appointment with someone who values your business and is respectful of clients.

Fantastic experience: I had an absolutely fantastic experience at the Norfolk location! Nurse Kaitlyn was incredibly kind, attentive, and supportive throughout the entire process, making me feel completely at ease. Dr. Ayewah was also exceptional—her expertise and care were evident, and the procedure was virtually painless. Both of them went above and beyond to ensure I was well taken care of every step of the way. I’m so excited to see my results and would highly recommend this amazing team to anyone looking for top-notch care and a smooth experience.

Fantastic experience: In the last two months, I have had two procedures performed by Dr. Gilbert. I cannot express how professional and knowledgeable Dr. Gilbert is. He is clearly a caring and skillful surgeon. I had zero complications with either prcedure and they were both virtually pain-free. I was exoertly cared for both times but amazing nurses. This last time Katelyn looked after me and made the entire procedure almost fun!!! Last week, I also received my first Venus treatment - and it was LIFE-CHANGING! Linda was the absolute BEST! She explained everything before the procedure began and answered all my questions. I received the Venus treatment on the area Dr. Gilbert worked 4 weeks prior. I am not going to lie - the first 10 minutes were painful. But after that, the pain subsideded and I felt immediate relief in the swelling and tenderness left from the surgery. All the large pockets of swelling were massaged away and I felt so much better when I left. I cannot say what the results will look like in the future, but I can say that I felt incredible when I left. So, if you're thinking about Venus, it is well worth the money as an after-surgery treatment to relieve pain and swelling. I have purchased multiple packages for different areas and I will update my review after I am further into the treatment. Sono Bello Norfolk has made my experience AMAZING - everyone from the front desk staff to the nurses to the doctors - have been incredibly kind and professional. I am so pleased with my experience thus far.

Negative experience: UPDATE 2: I am 3 months post surgery and worse than last month. I am in sooooo much pain still. My abdomen is on fire. It hurts to move, it hurts to sleep and nobody can touch it. I can't wear tight close. They rub against and skin and it feels like someone is scratching my skin with sharp nails. I am literally taking pain killers daily. I can only get oil on my skin right now. I cant rub anything into my skin. I'm in so much pain I'm starting to become mentally drained. I have large lumps in my skin still. This surgery has ruined my life. If I could go back in time I would never have gotten this surgery. My PCP thinks that maybe the canula that was used in the surgery caused nerve damage. I will not be going back for any of my appointments and I would like a full refund on the venus legacy. There's no way I can sit through that at all with my pain. I ruined my body. UPDATE: Well I must say that the staff at the clinic and corporate have been amazing. They are helping me recover as best as I can during this time. I have been compensated for my experience. They have given me services to help with pain and the hard lumps I have. My body is just taking a little longer to recover. If your body is telling you something listen to it. Please do your research on liposuction before you go through with the procedure. Some people have a great experience and some dont have a good experience. I am going to tell you my experience. As far as the business Sono Bello goes they have done a great job. I had abdomen liposuction and everything went great. I am healing and I didnt have any complications. Staff was respectful and nice, very professional. My issue is that the company doesn't give you an in depth synopsis of what recovery will be like. So I have very intense swelling. Not like water weight swelling. I had very hard lumps all over my abdomen. I am sore to the touch, very sensitive and I brusied so bad. My body did not like what it went through and has had a hard time recovering. The process is very slow and I am in constant pain and cannot get comfortable to save my life. Just do your research on everything involving the procedure and understand that the staff will try to give you info on what to expect, but your body will respond differently. Oh also there is a lot of additional expenses needed to maintain the procedure. Like lymphatic massages, new compression garments, roller ball for daily massages, tons and tons and tons of fluid intake. Just make sure this is what you really want. I regret it. I spend too much money to feel like absolute poop and inconvenience myself for months.

Fantastic experience: Sono Bello Norfolk lived up to their televised reputation. From schedulers at the front desk, to Liz who conducted my initial consult, the pre-op ladies…perfection. They took time with me and did not rush. The physician was great during pre-op as well as the day of surgery. My surgical nurse was great as well. I’m not sure of all the nurses names. But one was named Brittni. It has not been 24 hrs and I can see results even though there is still swelling. Lots of people don’t understand about a person’s desire to make changes in their body. I’ll be 58 next month and I feel reborn. This new confidence will create the life I’ve been waiting to live.

Fantastic experience: Every one at the front desk is very friendly and nice....the nurses was nice also.....I was excited to have my chin done but I don't see any difference and none of my family and friends....with the lipo I got three treatments of skin tightening...... now there said I would need eight more treatments to see any improvement.... that's $250 for just fifteen minutes.....I paid almost five thousand dollars for this procedure and before and after pictures are the same......I might as well of flush that money down the toilet......I only gave a five star because of the friendliness of the staff.....I feel depress like I did before the procedure.....

Fantastic experience: Greatest experience I could’ve had. The second I walked into the office I felt welcome. The staff is very nice. Liz helped me get what I wanted and was very helpful. During my procedure my nurse Brittni was absolutely amazing. She checked in and made sure I was okay the entire time. 10/10 would recommend Sono Bello!

Negative experience: I have never experience such a blatant disregard as a consumer before today's visit at Sonabella in Norfolk, VA. I arrived early, as requested for a 10:30 appointment on June 27, 2024. At 11:10, I approached the desk again, to see when I could expect to be call back. I was shocked when the receptionist said, they would not be able to see me until 12:30!!!!! I questioned her as to when she was going to inform me about the excessive, delay, and her flippant response was " I was waiting until you returned your paperwork ". Obviously, with such a back log, she knew, they were not on schedule, so why not inform me when I checked in almost an hour earlier. Now mind you, I traveled over 45 minutes, in heavy traffic! I left the the office angry, upset and disappointed with the lack of professionalism, and regard to my time. I wasted an entire morning, and nearly a half tank of gas due to this company's incompetence, and poorly run office management and procedures.

Negative experience: If i could rate this visit a zero i would! My recent experience was entirely unacceptable. Despite their rescheduling of my appointment from last week, I was asked to arrive 15 minutes early for paperwork and then left waiting for over an hour without any updates. When I finally approached the desk, I was told I would need to wait another 45 minutes. This lack of communication and disregard for my time is highly disappointing. Unless you have hours to spare waiting, I strongly recommend avoiding scheduling appointments with this office. They don't value your time!

Negative experience: I made an appointment however after reading reviews I will not be going to this place. I would suggest you read bad reviews first they are all saying the same thing which is a red flag!

Negative experience: I made an appointment a week ago. I received several text reminders which also included that I needed to be here 15 mins prior to my appointment time (the irony of this to come in a moment). I live over an hour away from this location on a good day- nevermind if you get stuck at one of the tunnels. I was strategic about my appointment time in hopes to avoid the high-traffic times of the day. I get here today only to be told that I have a two-hour wait because they’re running “extremely behind” and that the two appointments before me hadn’t even been taken back. Why wouldn’t they call and let this be known ahead of time? I am now making a 2.5 hour round-trip for absolutely nothing. And how do they even get two hours behind schedule?! This is absolutely unacceptable, and they were so nonchalant about it, as if this is no big deal and happens all the time. If I even decide to reschedule at all, it will 100% be at a different location. And I surely hope that this isn’t the standard across all locations.

Fantastic experience: I cannot express enough of how I appreciate Nayima. She works at the front desk and she has excellent customer service. When I arrived, Nayima welcomed me with comforting smile and explained to me how to fill out the long paperwork with excellent professionalism. And then when I was filling up the paperworks, I saw Nayima going out of her way to a guest in the waiting chairs to help answer questions about the paperworks. I’ve seen her multiple times literally sat next to a guest and comfort them and helped them. I’ve been in many receptionist areas and most of time the front desk receptionist are glued to their chairs and look like they don’t want to be bothered. Nayima shocked me as I was watching her help guests and comfort them and so on, as I have never seen that type of amazing service before. When I was finished with my wonderful consultation, as my first time, she even remembered my name and joked with me. She is five star Nayima and she should be called as such. The consultation was amazing as well. Her name is Ariel and she was very funny and personable. She had me boisterously laughing the entirety of the consultation. And I am definitely coming back!

Fantastic experience: I felt very comfortable from the first time I walked into Sono Bello. The atmosphere is great and it is very clean. Naimi works at the front desk and is very sweet and helpful. She always ask how I’m doing and really cares. My nurse that took my vitals and pictures was great and made me feel comfortable. Liz sat me down to tell me about prices. She made me laugh and we really got along well. She is awesome! Dr. Gilbert asked a lot of questions and made me feel like I was in good hands. Everyone there is so nice and caring. Negative experience: I was actually looking forward for my consultation that I scheduled a week in advance. I came on time like I was told to, they make you come 15 mins prior to your appointment for paperwork. I had no problems with that, I fill out my paperwork in a timely manner and was told it’ll be a 45 minute wait so I stay to be seen. An hour elapsed to be told it’s an extra 2 Hr waiting time and I can’t be seen today. I HAD A SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT BTW !

Fantastic experience: Love love Lorretta and Lauren who both do my Venus appointments at SonoBello, they are amazing, Very attentive and just easy to be around. I can’t forget the ladies at reception, they remember me by name every time I walk in and that in itself makes you feel valued as a customer. They are always friendly and kind, they also bring just a very light and welcoming vibe. Love it, I definitely recommend visiting Sonobello If you've been thinking about it, just do it.

And Ms. Cherisse attention to detail for my care and questions was personal and flexed to my individual needs. They are truly the reasons why Sono Bello is this successful. Fantastic experience: The staff at the Sono Bello Norfolk location are on point… the low ratings are a lie! I took an Uber to my 1-week post op appointment and my ETA was showing as 7 mins after my scheduled time so I was worried about being seen before everything shut down before the holidays. I called in advance and they were so accommodating and had my back. From inquiry to now, the process has been smooth. There were a ton of resources and reviews available online before I even reached out. I had scheduled an appointment with an AirSculpt location and the reviews weren’t great and it felt like they only wanted me to make a deposit for a sale - so I canceled and started researching local options and I’m thankful I did. After having gone through the consultation process with AirSculpt, I can say that Sono Bello made me feel more at ease and I didn’t feel like a sale. Liz was my consultant and was extremely down to earth. My procedure nurse Lisa was AMAZING and made my husband comfortable when he got nervous. I didn’t catch my post-op nurse’s name but she was so friendly and relatable as well. Every staff person and receptionist I’ve encountered has gone above and beyond to make me feel taken care of and human. The process itself was smooth and I’m excited to see the results in 3-6 months! Highly recommend!

Positive experience: To be lied to is an understatement. Drive an hour for an appointment that was supposed to be with a surgeon only to be told no, they changed policy. I'm beyond upset and disappointed. The amount of money they want and then you can't even talk with a physician. Update 1 - I was contacted and scheduled to see a physician. They were very nice when they contacted me and I appreciate the time they took to reach out to me to make everything right. I'll update again! Hopefully more stars get added. The office staff are definitely lovely.

Negative experience: I had the SAME exact experience as L. Adderly. I was running about 5 min. late for my appt., so I called to notify them, thinking that was the polite thing to do (sometimes life happens and you can't control variables such as traffic accidents, etc. and you may be unintentionally late). The person who answered said "Didn't anyone tell you to be here 15 min. before your appt.?" and I said "No, I wasn't told that". She put me on hold, then came back and said, "Well you're gonna have to reschedule". I said "Ok, do you have any Sat. appts.?". She said, "We're booked" and I asked how far out they were booked, because I was willing to wait a month or two if I could get a Sat. appt.", to which I was told, "I can't tell if we're gonna have any Saturday appts. that far in advance. You'll have to call and check back because I can't tell you if we'll be booked on a Saturday a month from now". WHAT? Isn't that how one determines if they have availability to schedule an appt? The overwhelming impression I got was that they don't need or care if they have my business, but a month later, I'm STILL receiving texts suggesting I call to reschedule. I would love to, but after that first encounter, I figured I could at least find a place that could offer courtesy and professionalism.

Fantastic experience: Having recently had surgery through Sono Bello at the Norfolk office I found the staff and services exceptional. Dr. Gilbert did a fantastic job and has the support of the best staff in VA. They all make a great team! Fantastic experience: Just recently had my Trisculpt aBex procedure done and so far I can’t say anything bad. The front desk staff is super helpful and polite. Liz was my consultant and she was absolutely amazing and very insightful. She made me feel like a person. She didn’t push anything. She told me the truth and answered everything I asked. Dr. Atun is incredible!!! He is funny and super sweet. He got the job done! I loved that he personally called me the day after my procedure to check on me. Janeris was my nurse, she was amazing as well. She was upfront with me when I asked questions. She was there for me the entire time. I am extremely grateful. Don, was my other nurse. He supported me in this decision and was there for me the entire time. I saw Carissa during the monthly check and she is helpful and amazing as well. I truly am grateful for everyone there before, during, and after my procedure. I can’t wait to see the final results!!! Thank you all so much for making me feel like myself again!

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with Sono Bella for my preop visit and my consultation. Ariel during my consultation was overwhelmed and so busy and still took the time to go over everything very slowly and complete. Everyone at the front desk was always so friendly and quick to greet me Toy, Cherisse and Naima. Dr Gilbert was great in explaining what exactly he was going to do during the procedure and how to take care of my incision and drainage holes. The nurses were great and there with me from beginning to end explaining things to both me and my caretaker, thank you Brittni. The PM at this site Doreen does a great job

Fantastic experience: If you are looking for cutting edge, "no pun intended", Top Notch, State of the Art, laser Lipo, then look no further other than Sono Bello Norfolk. The care and service they provide are second to none. I was a little skeptical about the process and procedure, but once it was fully explained, I was totally at ease and on board. The care and professionalism starts with the front receptionist team of Cherrisse, Naima, Toy, and Cari. They were genuine, caring and very professional. The superb management crew of Deneen and Carissa really reflected the team, as a whole, nothing short of awesome. Liz, my consultant is and was on point with the full explanation of the entire process from A to Z. I could tell she was very knowledgeable and passionate about the process of disseminating pertinent information to clients. As for the Nurses, Alex, Brittni, Jessica, Laurette, Lauryn, Lisa, Kaitlyn: Registered Nurses: Carissa and Sydney, you will not meet a better team of medical professionals where their number one missiin is to you, the patient. The level of knowledge, care and compassion was nothing less of spectacular. Last but not least... Dr. Gilbert. What can I say!! Back in my Military days, when describing the epitome of Excellence, I term it as "Above the Rest". Nothing short of gifted hands!!

Fantastic experience: Every single staff member has been professional and extremely welcoming and comforting. My wife had her procedure 10/20 and being an ER nurse herself, she was a bit nervous. However, Jessica got us right in, made me comfortable in the waiting area, which was nice a cool, I even took a nap☺️. My wife says that Jessica explained everything single thing and answered all her questions..she made my wife feel very comfortable, which in turn gave her a great experience. She said she even dozed off during the procedure, which is an accomplishment, because she never does that. Once the procedure was over, I was escorted to her room and Jessica explained everything to a T. She is an amazing nurse and her bedside manner is phenomenal. Dr. Gilbert also explained things and answered questions as well. The experience so far has been amazing! Thank you all

Negative experience: Second time I’ve attempted to come to this office and each time I walk in the front staff are in a huddle gossiping and giggling which makes for a very uncomfortable first impression. I arrived at my appointment at 3:48 my appointment was 3:45 the office person said to me did you not get our text say arrive 15 mins early? So much attitude behind that first question then said well fill these out while I see if I can still take you. Huh?!?! I thought most Dr offices give a 15 min grace period?? So I asked if she wanted to check to see if she could take me before I wasted time filling out the paperwork l. She said again with attitude l I’m going to take you if you can fill outs the paperwork fast enough. Again so much rudeness attached. And No that is not what you said. I just said nevermind and walked out! It’s already a tough decision to make and the least the staff could do is be more inviting. SMH!!!

Fantastic experience: Dr Atun and Nurse Lisa Rodriguez were amazing with me through my procedure. I couldn't have made it through without their constant encouragement and attention to detail.

Fantastic experience: My first experience at SonoBello, was simply ESPECTACULAR, from the front desk, to my interaction with Ariel, that explained everything to details, plus she's such a loving person that absolutely represents Sonobello, in a very so elegantly and professional way. You can only save and absolutely sure you're in the best hands ever. You feel energized in a very positive way!!! Dr.Gilbert and his nurse ,were loving and very thorough !!!

Negative experience: I had and appointment today at 2.15 which showed up to at 2.05 10 mins early. When ao was not taken in till 2.35 I asked the front desk and I was told I can't be seen till 3.15. Asked the Practice Manager whether I can be seen and said no because earlier appointments are running over. When I said this is terrible customer service she said sorry there's nothing that can be done. Very unprofessional

Fantastic experience: It’s been 6 days since my surgery I got lipo on my upper and lower abdomen and the abEx, had I’d known about Sono Bello a few years ago I would have BEEN came. I’m still swollen but can see a huge difference especially in my waistline. I’m very much satisfied with my results so far. My Dr was Dr.Herrera and my nurse was Alex, both had proper bedside manners that’s a plus for me because I needed to feel comfortable in a situation like that and they made me feel very comfortable. Everything was explained to me detail by detail I’m normally a scary person but I wasn’t scared or nervous actually during my procedure I laughed a lot because it felt like I was being tickled. By everyone’s tolerance won’t be the same I will say that. My Dr checked up on me by phn just as he said he would and I’m looking fwd to my 1st post op appointment next week.
