Negative experience: The one MA was VERY rude and clearly did not want to be there. The receptionist was incredibly nice however and called for a med evaluation several times. The MA ignored the first one. Came up after the second and then told the receptionist to do it? He was very upset with MA and tried to keep it as professional as possible since the MA was very loud and causing a scene. She left and then came up later asking if he did it. He got pretty upset with her and basically told her to do her job. She eventually called me over and just kept repeating herself in a very condescending manner. If the clinic knew what was best, they should fire that MA. I didn’t catch her name but I’m sure the other MA and receptionist could point her out.
Fantastic experience: This location is close to my house and I love the services provided by my counselor Eve and my nutritionist Katja. Both ladies are amazing and have helped me along my journey of healing my health and rediscovering myself.

Negative experience: Where do I even start. It’s so sad that this is really the only local option for state insurance holders to go. I have had nothing but problems with every single provider I’ve seen here at every location. When my daughter was born she had to have FOUR newborn screenings up until she was 6 months old because they kept messing it up. Thankfully we were able to switch pediatricians and they were able to see that she had a milk protein intolerance but I feel so bad that she didn’t have the care she needed for so long. I’ve been on sertraline since before I had to switch to PCHS. A few months ago I recommended to my provider that I would like to start to get off of it. Mostly because of the problems that PCHS gives me with refilling the prescription. Well every single time they have scheduled the next appointment until after the prescription runs out and then refuses to refill it so I have to end up just not taking anything until the appointment. They say to never just stop taking it but then literally refuse to refill it?? A joke.
Positive experience: They alright, some Doctors are fantastic and others just wanna ride the rest of their career out without delivering a baby. Eric is their best dentist and sadly losing the names right now but there is a Female and Male doctor that are both finominal.
Negative experience: This place is so poorly ran and unprofessional. Employee’s all have sour attitudes and just gossip and talk amongst each other super loud for the entire waiting room to hear. Wait times are obnoxious I waited an hour for an appointment I arrived 15 minutes early to. The doctor’s try their best to rush you out. I’m newly pregnant and doctor Troy Pero provided absolutely no information on anything and we spoke for maybe 2 minutes, he set me up with an upcoming prenatal appointment and didn’t even tell me the nature of what the visit would entail. I took a pregnancy test in the office and they said they’d call me with results, NEVER did and I waited 4 days patiently before I had to call and wait on hold 3 times before finally getting through to someone. There’s zero urgency here. I don’t feel cared for by the providers whatsoever. Just feel like they try to do the least possible. They give little to no info and have super unorganized staff. Save your time and energy and please get a different office to go to. Each experience here was absolutely awful.
Fantastic experience: I did a lot of digging for a great reliable dental team, I found my home dental team. Doctor Alsteen is the greatest and he makes you relaxed I am confident in his work! He extracted, filled and fixed all my issues! I feel very safe in his professional and extensive knowledge! THANK YOU PCHS DENTAL FOR MY NEW SMILE!
Fantastic experience: These nurses are amazing and the providers of some of the most kindest people I've met and WOW . And really appreciate the time and effort that you all do. I just wanted everyone to know that you (nursesandproviders, staff) that I appreciate your not giving me a run around. Thank you for your time and help.
Negative experience: Doctors and nurses are nice and do their jobs for the most part. But the referral department is terrible, you have to follow up yourself. Never received call regarding status of referrals. They don't do anything until you call them. I ended up having to pickup my referral from pchs and finding an imaging facility myself. Not acceptable.
Positive experience: It's a doctors office on the ground floor and dental on the second floor but no stairs or elevator. Just park on the other side of the building for second floor access.

Fantastic experience: My daughter woke up sick I called to see if she could be seen. She sat in my car nurse came out tested her for Covid and flu came back negative. The doctor did live visit with my daughter over the phone. Thank you PCSH for making sure my daughter is okay.

Negative experience: ⭐ ONE STAR REVIEW - Worst service in healthcare, the receptionist is one of the most unprofessional and rude person a system like this could have. (There are free online courses about customer service or perhaps you could read a book on compassion and empathy) No education at all, no concideration for the people in need of treatment. Very bad service, specially the almost 2 hour wait because the place is understaffed. ONE STAR ⭐ ONLY The provider, I'm not sure if he knew what he was doing, he wasn't very thorough with the check up and gave me directions against my cardiologist. Whoever is managing this place is a joke and really needs to get on a different career. I'll wait for your sarcastic comments regarding the ONE star ( you'll see 4, which explains a lot) nothing personal but this place needs to bring up service quality.

Positive experience: I was there with my friend. He checked in at 7:15 for a 7:30 after hours appointment. We got there at exactly 7:15. I went in with him just to see. The waiting room was empty. There is a machine inside and you put your face near it and an outline the shape of a human head that appears on the screen. You line your image up with the outline on the screen and it tells your temperature. Nobody had to come and do anything to take the reading. We both used the machine. His reading was 97.2 and mine was 97.7. Both of our readings were within normal range. He stayed inside and I waited outside. While I waited it was raining. As I sat outside a woman pulled up with a small child in the back seat. After a minute a nurse came out to the car. She took some kind of reading and a sample from the child. She briefly spoke with the woman and told her the results would be in the mail within 3 -5 business days. The woman was satisfied and thanked the nurse. They both said goodnight and the nurse went back inside. Shortly thereafter my friend came out and we left.

Fantastic experience: I saw Dr. Van-Niel for a simple prescription refill. The whole experience was very easy and straightforward, much easier than going to any of the Franciscan clinics/hospitals. She was knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and definitely listened well. I would definitely return here if needed.

Negative experience: I was 10 minutes early to my appointment that was at 9:45am. At around 10:15am I had to go ask the front desk how much longer it was going to be because I had to get my daughter. I then didn’t get brought back until 10:20am! I am in the health care field and this wait was ridiculous with no communication. The only reason I am giving it 2 stars is because the provider I saw was great. Her name was Faith. She was very professional, helpful, and straight forward. The gentleman that drew my blood was quick and friendly. But, the first point of contact and lack of scheduling efficiency was very much low in quality. I asked the provider if she was behind and she told me she wasn’t and had been ready for a little while. This place needs to get their people on the same page as this would be no fault of the providers in the back. Go to another location if possible. I know the providers float.

Fantastic experience: Actually I've not been a patient of Peninsula Community Health in probably 15 yrs or so. It was good then. Probably better now that they offer dental. But, I know several folks that receive care past few years at PCH and are happy with them. They definitelyffill a void for those either no insurance or using dshs only. Plus, they also have walk in hours available!

Negative experience: I have never had an experience with a Healthcare Professional like I did with FAITH. First of all, when she walked into the room she stood directly OVER me instead of in front of me which I immediately found intimidating and uncomfortable. I was there to get a simple referral to see a gynecologist who was recommended to me by a couple of my family members and as soon as I mentioned the word “Referral”, she immediately became rude and condescending. She made me feel like an absolute piece of garbage for choosing to see someone outside of that clinic and I left there sobbing and feeling helpless. If you are concerned about your health and need help, do NOT go to this clinic.

Negative experience: This an honest review from personal experience with this clinic over the last 9 years. I am chronic cancer patient who has to utilise medicare. My care at this clinic was initially promising, however within a year I experienced mistreatment. I would come in for serious concerns of reoccurrence of leukaemia & other disability concerns, I would often put off visits because the staff at this clinic have dismissed my medical concerns in the past. When I attempted to get another medical opinion from another hospital, this clinic missed a serious cancer diagnosis. The reasons for my medical concerns is PREVENTION. I cannot afford for an advanced medical condition therefore, I prefer preventative medical checkups. It just makes financial and emotional sense. If you have basic medical needs, this clinic may help. However, if you have medical concerns beyond just basic check-ups, than this is not the establishment for you. In the last 9 years, I’ve seen a rotation of 5 doctors leaving the clinic, dismissive medical staff, and medical diagnosis go without follow-up treatment. Front Desk staff is incredibly strained, but I will note they have always been considerate and helpful, in my experience. Take what you will from this review, It is honest. Now that I have better supplemental insurance, I will not be returning to this clinic. I walked away from this clinic because in the end I was in worse medical condition than I had began.

Negative experience: Since when do we need to pin children down and restrain them when they get their shots? Is this what this clinic teaches? Is this the standard practice here? I'm glad we don't have to go back, but I feel horrible for all of the children that have to go through that. My daughter is literally scarred for life because of this. We weren't comfortable with it but we held her down because that was how the nurse insisted she do it, and we regret it. My daughter has a meltdown anytime we go into a medical setting now. DO NOT RECOMMEND

Positive experience: I love my Dr and experiences but I ran out out of my inhaler and blood pressure meds and they refused to refill them. I was in alaska and they didn't take my insurance. Pretty messed up.. That inhaler junkie.. Lol

Negative experience: The people here are nice. But that’s one reason why I’m giving two stars and not one. They really need to hire people that know how to do the job. I’m talking about the people who work in the front and the nurses that does the shots and take blood samples. One nurse I had to basically have to ask her to put on gloves before taking putting any kind of needle in me. Then I had to ask to wipe the spot that she was going to inject the needle with with wipes or something. Then when I had to get blood drawn, the guy nurse here does not know how to draw blood. I got poked like 6 times in different spots and wasn’t able to get blood. Some of the ladies in the front counter are very nice but they have no clue what they are doing. One of the girls tried to charge me with a bill just for a TB test check. And every time I had to ask a question they give me the look like they have no idea what I was asking about. Even when I asked what time the office closes and they don’t know! Like it blows my mind how these people get jobs! Are they just getting hired for their looks? IF YOU WORK HERE AND YOURE READING THIS. DO A BETTER JOB OR HIRE BETTER PEOPLE.

Negative experience: This place is absolutely terrible! Not only do they have a terrible answering service it takes forever to talk to a actual person. I have been going here for three months and they are unable to give me any help with my problems from my injuries to my medication! It has been a nightmare dealing with almost every aspect of this place!!! I waited months to see a doctor that could help me with my anxiety and prescribe me my meds I have been on for 8 years and after three months they missed the appointment! When I went in and asked to speak to a supervisor they rescheduled me 35 minute drive in belfair with what I was told was going to be a psychiatrist and it was actually a Nurse Practitioner who said she could not help me? This place is absolutely terrible and causing me major problems!!! I don't know what to do about my health other then go elsewhere which now is too late. Now I suffer because of peninsula community health and their negligence.

Fantastic experience: Been going here for 2 years. Needed to find a doc as I had just relocated from Colorado. The staff is outstanding and very good with the patients. My Dr. Kassam is wonderful and takes her time listening. I also see the Pharmacist... great group of ladies. Have been very helpful with me
