MPOWER Physical Therapy

Negative experience: Absolute worst company/ healthcare provider I have ever done business with. They keep saying I owe them money but not one person can show me where any payments I have paid have been applied. I have called dozens of times to get some explanation and I am told I will be called back with explanation and not one person has actually followed through and given me any answers. This has been going on over a year and they keep sending me random statements. I would never go back to get care from them and I would avoid them if I were you.

Negative experience: I used to think the world of this institution until I had to go get treatment in a different state. The facility looks great and people are nice but the effort by the therapists is minimal at best. They are not really serious about rapidly improving your condition. It has a corporate vibe to it and the goal is to maximize shareholder value. I treated two injuries here (2019 through 2021 and 2024) and have seen the service become more and more transactional with time. Its a shame because this organization is considered one of the best in town. I hope this serves as a wake up call

Fantastic experience: Working with Kate & Dustin and they are kicking my butt! In a good way. I’m working through a meniscus tear in my knee and the program has been really great, and reasonably priced (I’m self pay). A great benefit is the app where I can track my PT progress at home. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: Getting back into movement post back injury/surgery has been a point of stress for me and Eric helped me feel so much more confident in my movement and ability. For the first time since my back injury over a year and a half ago, I feel good enough to run and play some sports again (within reason y'all, don't worry, I promise I'm still being careful lol) and PT at Mpower is a huge reason I'm at that place.

I thought recovering from rotator cuff surgery would be horrible, but it has been a pretty good experience (as far as rotator cuff is concerned, lol ) because of those two!

She’s a hard worker with a lot going on, but she takes the time for each patient without seeming rushed. And she has magic hands, having helped me tremendously through my recovery. I would recommend her without hesitation to anyone needing PT.

Fantastic experience: My speedy recovery would not have been so easy if it wasn’t for Eric’s patience and care. Having a hip replacement is no joke. He told me everything he was doing while working with me. He didn’t rush the process. He worked at my pace. I was in so much pain but his knowledge of taking care of the body’s bones, muscles, and joints left me assured that I was in good hands. Thank you very much for having a competent young man working at MPower physical therapy.

Fantastic experience: Kate is the best. She is very encouraging and attentive. She is quick to correct me when I’m doing something wrong, so as not to go backwards in my recovery. She always has different suggestions and mixes things up so you don’t get bored. The entire crew is phenomenal and helps each other out so that all the clients get the most out of their sessions.

Fantastic experience: Eric and the folks at MPOWER have been fantastic! They are super friendly and responsive, they have an app that makes it really easy to stay on top of your exercises, and everything there is nice and clean. Going here and working with Eric has really helped my recovery!

She listened and got right into trying to figure out my body imbalances and what was going on. She was very efficient. She gave me some moves in an easy-to-use app, which I am going to do daily beginning today. I'm so relieved to say that after years of pain, I am already feeling better! And feeling very hopeful about less pain in the future. A+ recommend this place!

She was my therapist for my right knee replacement over a year ago and I requested her for my left knee replacement this year. She has just the right mix of compassion and yet encouragement and determination to help you get better. I could not have asked for a better. Person to help me recover. Negative experience: I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this physical therapy office. I sought treatment here following ACL surgery, but none of the doctors seemed to have expertise in handling quad graft surgery. My assigned physical therapist failed to devote adequate time to getting my knee back on track and provided little guidance. Instead, they adhered strictly to a predetermined timeline and pushed me beyond my limits, leading to minor damage in the surgical area from premature jumping and running. It's unclear whether my PT lacked experience due to youth or other factors, but even the lead PT overseeing my case showed no concern over my slow progress. When I consulted my surgeon, who wasn't affiliated with this group because I underwent surgery at home and sought PT near my out-of-state school, he was shocked to discover that my leg still wasn't straight six months post-op. Following my departure from this facility and finding a new PT, I discovered I was already months behind in my recovery. Consequently, I had to undergo therapy for twice as long. Even now, a year after surgery, I'm still grappling with the consequences of my time at this establishment. While patients are responsible for diligently completing exercises on their own time (which I certainly did), ultimately, it falls upon the doctor to ensure that the patient is meeting their individual milestones for a successful recovery. Regrettably, based on my experience, I cannot recommend this office to anyone seeking ACL recovery treatment.

Fantastic experience: Courtney & Denzel have been wonderful to me with my physical therapy. They are very genuine and care for their patients. I am struggling with my therapy but they have patience and are willing to help me out with my therapy.

Fantastic experience: Rochelle has been providing PT for 5 months following my Rotator Cuff Surgery. The surgery went well. In my opinion successful surgery important but no more important than PT. Her expertise, guidance and management of my expectations through the PT process has been nothing short of stellar. We have progressed at the appropriate pace and I have made steady progress. I've known several people that have had Rotator Cuff Surgery and the accompanying PT. I've not known anyone who has progressed as well as I have through the process. I give all that credit to Rochelle.

Fantastic experience: Eric has made the journey from Total Knee Replacement bearable. I am only one week postop and the challenges mentally and physically to not give 100% on my part is real but Eric's professional and personable approach to my success is evident. I will succeed and I will get better everyday. Just follow have to trust his care plan

Negative experience: Beware of billing issues. I cancelled an appointment ahead of time, called to resolve the issue with multiple people agreeing there was an issue, and 4 months later there is still a bill sent to me.
