Fantastic experience: I have been suffering from vertigo for a couple months. My doctors just give me pills but Sean P. at PT Innovations did a quick Epley Maneuver and I haven’t had vertigo since. If you need fixing, they’re the ones to go to.

Fantastic experience: When you walk into PTI, you are greeted with genuine interest. The staff is helpful and kind. My physical therapist, Rob Humphrey, is great! The exercises and stretching are accompanied by an App to guide you when you are at home. I was able to walk immediately after surgery thanks to PTI.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Physical Therapy Innovations, in El Cerrito, after I twisted my knee. I had a great experience from the reception to my session with Sean. Sean was extremely helpful and listened to me. My knee injury has been very painful. Sean gave me some exercises and an explanation about the benefits of each. I highly recommend this PT company.

Positive experience: Went in for debilitation pain in my sacrum. Donna gave me an intake that seemed to cover the bases and we sketched out a treatment plan for the next few weeks. 4 days later I met Sean in the pool and began to experience more relief that I have in weeks. So far so good.

Fantastic experience: I'm after an elbow injury and this is my second case of being treated at this clinic, until today everything was fine, and well, today Memorial Day scheduled treatment for me when I called to see if it was a mistake it turned out to me that they do work and I asked to try to advance or postpone or cancel the appointment, and then I was told that I can cancel but I have to pay a $100 fine because I already had one cancellation for another injury three years ago, something that seems completely illogical to me, which means that as long as I am treated there I can actually never cancel again because I have already changed treatment For another day and it was 3 years earlier, needless to say that the physiotherapists are excellent and provide excellent service, but unfortunately the representative who spoke to me was unpleasant at all and then the representative who spoke to me spoke as if she was reading the law to me like a robot without thinking for a moment and thinking a little outside the box, it seems more Like making money for free.

Negative experience: The therapists are knowledgeable and personable, the issue I have had are related to some of the policies the owner has in place which in my experience have been punitive and inflexible. The 24 hour cancellation fee recording you are greeted with when you call for an appointment telling you that should you not call to cancel you are slapped with a 100 dollar fee, not taken from your insurance, but out of your pocket. So don’t get sick under that 24 hour notice or be fined. I had an acquaintance recently tell me he was 15 minutes late for his appointment, he was stuck in traffic, not unusual living in the Bay Area add to that he’s injured.. when he finally found parking which is also hard some days to do, he was told to find another practice, that they would not be treating him there. The plus side is the aquatic therapy the down side is what I’ve stated above. Be warned.

Fantastic experience: Excellent experience with Jeremy. Quickly identified the problem that my doctor had missed. Prescribed three stretches and massage. Already feeling better after two days.

Fantastic experience: Jeromiah, PT was professional and kind. The aquatic therapy with Casey PT was a lot of fun and it felt great to be in the water. Casey, PT was supportive, encouraging, and knowledgeable. Office staff was also very helpful and provided great follow-up.

Fantastic experience: At PT Innovations, I found the support staff and the physical therapist to be excellent. They have a covered waiting area and even gym equipment for their clients’ use.

Fantastic experience: I was sent to Physical Therapy Innovations by my Doctor. I was a little anxious and nervous, but was pleasantly surprised by the facility and a staff. My therapist Rob asked about my issue and concerns, had me walk and do some movements he was able to plan exercises to address my balance and walking issues. I’m already feeling improvement and am looking forward to the next visit. They have a lot of equipment and a therapy pool.

Fantastic experience: Had my first appointment here and was pleased with not only how quickly I got the appointment, but getting the follow ups scheduled so soon as well. Had a great session with Jeromiah, who listened to my history then started right off with what I felt was a major obstacle to my recovery: lots of knots in my back & hip. I feel confident that this is finally the start of my healing journey, after being hardly able to walk for almost four months.

Fantastic experience: Initially thrown off by location in a residential area. Staff very professional and courteous. My appointment was on time (no waiting). Therapist was easy to talk to and he listened. Isolated my cause of discomfort and we started the exercise. On my way out, ALL my subsequent appointments were booked. Very efficient.

Fantastic experience: Reception was kind and informative. I was prepared for the outside waiting room temperature. I saw 2 people. They were both helpful and knowledgeable. They asked questions for clarity, not making any assumptions. They explained things as we progressed through my appointment. They facility is a little cramped and parking was a near. But the service I received was appreciated.

I see Alex and Jeremiah ;)… they’re wonderful and have the intrinsic “ good listening “ skills. Their expertise is wide and vast! They hit muscles I never knew really existed I recommend PHYSICAL THERAPY INNOVATIONS their truly top drawer. Consummate pro’s and would never go elsewhere! Physical THERAPY INNOVATIONS is the first and the last when choosing your physical therapy needs!!

Negative experience: I knew the first appointment would be $150 (cough cough) but I didn’t know it would be only 30 minutes! And after you get registered and settled, that’s even less than 30 minutes so that’s over $5/ minute! Absurd. I won’t be going back. Also, it’s cramped and crowded. And there’s only one female PT. Too much male energy in a small space.

Positive experience: They seemed to know what they were doing & they were very nice. Sure am sore today...lol

Fantastic experience: I did not have to wait long for my appointment. I was evaluated and given a couple exercises to do at home. I was then scheduled for follow up appointments to work on my issue. It was a smooth well organized process.

Fantastic experience: Following 3.5 years since my stroke I have been to several Physical Therapy Clinics(due to insurance limitations) the PTI has been one of the most successful. The PTI therapists are instructive, responsive to suggestions and focused on my goals to recover. They accomplish more in 30 minutes than most other Clinics try in 60 minutes.

Fantastic experience: Personable and needs based treatment targeting the areas of the body in distress. Magnificent massage chair that worked penetrating pressure to the entire body from the tips of the toes to the back of the neck. Outstanding service.

The checkin was easy and informative with a tour of the facility. The outdoor waiting area was ok the day I was there, but it was a sunny day. Hope it's as pleasant on chilly days, but they have fireplace warmers. I would recommend this business.

I look forward to my appointments and that has never happened before with other physical therapy places I’ve been at. Parking is tricky…don’t know where Luis, the valet is. He used to be able to park any vehicle anywhere, safely. A parking genius! But it seems we’re on our own now. No big problem. This is a really superior place for Physical Therapy.

When I was done with my PT I had no pain in my knee. It was unbelievable. I give the credit to everything Donna and Marco taught me. They were/are the greatest! It was a happy place to go. Very upbeat. Stephanie kindly greeted me every day I arrived. She’s a sweetheart! She made me feel at home. She also helped a lot with my paperwork and appointments. I will miss Donna, Marco and Stephanie.
