Fantastic experience: I was suffering with knee pain (MRIs showed both meniscuses with tears) so badly that I was taking extra strength Tylenol all day and night, and still in enough pain that my knee pain would wake me up frequently in the middle of the night. It was exhausting, and taking over my life. I talked with Dr. Guess (my friend since 3 years old, my first childhood friend when my family moved to my hometown of Marion, KY) and he shared with me many success stories of regenerative therapy. He helped me to find a financial solution that worked for me and my family, as he cared very deeply about helping me avoid the conventional surgery route if at all possible. So in September, I had regenerative therapy injections in both knees. In only a few months, I had no trouble sleeping and staying asleep, and I was down to zero pain medication for my knees - not even Tylenol! While I still need to be more resolved in my commitment to the physical therapy aspect of my recovery so I can gain even more aggressive function back in my knees (I would like to jog and do barbell squats in the gym pain free) one single regenerative treatment with Dr. Guess at 1st Choice got me to the point where my knees are now just an occasional background nuisance in my everyday experience, as opposed to a constant torture. I’m so grateful!

He did fantastic job of listening, and thorough examination. I’ve only had a few visits for adjustments and therapy but seeing huge difference in how I feel. My pain was excruciating the first day. Dr. Guess was able to clearly identify the problems and give me treatments that has relieved pain I’ve had for years. Dr. Guess is personable, caring and took a sincere interest in restoring my health. I first went to Rasmussen Chiropractic but I didn't have a good experience with the doctor and didn't feel I was getting the care I needed. When I came to 1St Choice Health and Wellness it was immediately obvious that the facility was more expansive and the doctors made me feel as they listened and really had an interest in my care and wellness. My treatment plan is more developed and clear and their knowledge and willingness to help was a big relief. The staff is very friendly and kind, both the front of house and back of house have been amazing. Always flexible with my schedule and any emergencies that pop up. Dr. Guess and Dr. Tim have been considerate and knowledgeable. Thats why 1st Choice should have been my first choice.

Fantastic experience: I have visited numerous doctors, MRIs, PT and surgery consultations I decided to look for another option. All of the prior appointments led me to the suggestion of an operating table. After just a week of Decompression Therapy at 1st Choice I can already see an avenue that will prevent me from having surgery. The amount of improvement is amazing. With all of the different therapies that they have implemented my pain has been reduced from multiple aspects due to the overall injury. Thank to everyone at 1st Choice who start my appointment day off in a good mood by making me realize that there will be better days ahead with the therapy and positive outlook on my recovery.

Fantastic experience: WISH WE KNEW SOONER! Our teenage son is extremely active in high level sports. He has been fighting ankle and knee injuries that have significantly hindered his development and game time due to the pain. Multiple friends encouraged us to take the time and drive the 1.5 hour trip to see Dr. Guess at his office. After our first visit my son’s pain was reduced significantly. This past weekend is the first time in months that my son played full minutes and walk off the field with a smile. Our team got the win and he was pain free. We owe Dr. Guess and his office big time.
